Man...... I hope EDS marketing strategy is gonna be alot better than just an article on the Merkle. Not to mention you can't even post it on the main bitcoin sub now that it autobans anything "unrelated" to bitcoin. I also noticed these articles aren't doing anything to broaden the presence of the game. I really hope EDS has something up their sleeve because we've only got 3 more weeks. We should be seeing alot more anticipation and presence. Just saying.
Sounds like you set a date for release already. I would wait for SoG to announce the release when is ready. Yes there is a roadmap and it stated in August there should be a soft launch.
But I would rather make sure it is announced with more certainty by the team first. Why adding unnecessary pressure?
On the other end there have been articles coming out regularly about SoG not only that specific one on TheMerkle, I try and keep track of them and post them here if and when I see them.
And we are talking about dozens of articles since the project was formed, not 1 or two. So I think they are doing well on that front.
I believe once there is a download available on the Apple and Google stores things will pick up as well as more articles and news.
Nobody (gaming blogs, etc) really wants to publish about a game that is in beta with no way of easily downloading to a smartphone, of course unless you are EA Games.
Hence why I think Bitcoin media is the best option right now and where you are more likely to see articles about SoG coming out.
Looking forward to the next releases whenever they are, the team has added some great features lately like the level maker which I find quite entertaining.
So I try to stay positive and support SoG while I wait for the launch as anyone else without being too inquisitive or critical.
I believe the team has got things in hands.
