Here is the promised address:

eLMaseUkj3QHnpyC9Gfs9o9cYbsb35EsBV

I'll be keeping the wallet online and return the received amount of coins + stake in 20 days from now on.

I won't take any fees as there is nothing for me todo as installing the wallet on the vps and a simple receive and a send in 20 days..

If you want to donate something, you can do so by setting your donation a bit higher on my pool Smiley

Thanks for your trust again.

I realize there can't be too many stake eligible coins yet, but just wanted to give a heads up that I have some mature coins right now and it's showing my weight as 16 and network weight as 0.  Maybe I just need to be patient but it just concerned me because all the other times I have seen network weight 0, it has always meant staking is broken somehow and wallet needed an update.  Plus, the money supply is still a nice round number with lots of zeroes which tells me no one else has staked yet either.

Could be nothing, but just wanted to throw that out there in case there is an issue it can be fixed as quick as possible.

Your wallet should stake almost immediately if you are the first with mature coins. Did that happen in the last 15 minutes?

As of right now, it has been about an hour and a half since a block of 319 coins matured.  2 more blocks of coins of similar size matured over that period as well.  Now looking at weight of 32 and still network weight of 0.

This does indeed sound like broken PoS.
A word from the dev would be nice.

OC , you ok with holding the escrow? You certainly have my vote and trust.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Great, thanks everyone, there is overwhelming support for OCminer so I will send to:

eLMaseUkj3QHnpyC9Gfs9o9cYbsb35EsBV

The only requirements is that this wallet address stakes.  We also will need this funding back in about 3 weeks to do the advertising campaign.  We won't need all of it at once, but the escrow will be responsible for topping up the fund as needed.  Probably best to send 5-10k at a time until depleted.

I am reading some concerns about POS having issues, i believe it's just competing with POW right now so this could be normal.  We're investigating this, mind you we probably should have held on to the premine for a few hours to see if it could stake before sending!  That is our mistake, apologies for that.

I think that's the correct assumption, and that those trying to stake relatively small amounts of coins are just competing against the heavy domination of POW blocks for the moment. The good news is that stake earnings build up over time anyway, so nothing would be "lost" by a delay as long as you're accumulating coin age/weight.

IPOminer.com thank you for that, you have a deep understanding of how this works.  Basically, the stake weight is set to a max age of 42 days, had we set it to say 2 days, people would be staking right now.  This doesn't mean that you are losing out in revenue, it just means the weight of the PoW is overshadowing PoS but you will still make the same in the end.

So long as you're accumulating age(weight) you will be compensated accordingly, no coins will be sacrificed.

EDIT:  Please take the time to thank Bittrex.com, suprnova.com (for escrow), and IPOminer.com I want to say that having positive influences like this really help when you are releasing a project.  It takes much stress from us when we can just rely on these brand names to back us up.  Bittrex just listed us, but I am happy about that even though I wanted the premine gone before - the reason is that they are the most secure exchange, and most in touch with the daily people of cryptocurrencies.

Suprnova i know i don't have to worry about premine being dumped, thank you.  And IPOminer.com knows much about how this system works, so I appreciate the help explaining it earlier.  Thank you to Minerpools.com for being the first pool, and coin-miners you launched very fast as well.  I wish I had something to give you other than my thanks.

Now that we have this out of the way, I will build the block explorer and so forth.  What surprised me the most about this project is the fairness, it's hard to get coins, even with Antminer S3 and renting more than 10 TERAHASH.  The nice part about being dev is that I was able to mine early, I thought about leaving the cpu miner going in the wallet after taking the genesis block then the premine but decided not to.

If a portion of this community would like to take up a fund for developments or bounties, maybe we can convince OCminer to take a second wallet.  I do not want to manage such accounts, but i would like to pay for translations but simply cannot unless i spend more personal BTC.

Ok Ive often wondered about something, and Im not being sarcastic here. If Im on a pool that gets 99% of the blocks, and for example I get 5% of the block reward each time (Ive got 12Ths) ..why would I change to a pool that gets about 2-3% of the blocks and get next to nothing? Please explain?

At the end - you get the same on all pools, your payouts are bigger on smaller pools - smaller on big pools but it evens out.

You help stabilizing the network and spreading the hashes.
