zero time transactions is basically where you receive your coins instantly right. other dash that has instant x is already out. how is it better than that plus other coins which transactions get sent in seconds. is speed the only great thing here in the upcoming algo

VNL doesnt need masternodes for zerotime, Dash does.. its like comparing decentralized vs centralised

Yup, true instant transactions without the use of masternodes (centralized nodes which only people with $ can host) are far more valuable. Also fix masternodes are points of failure in a true P2P decentralized system, as the DASH network will grow in value far more people will try to abuse the technical sollution behind it.

Also I'm sorry to say, but as it stands now, InstantX is useless if merchants and their exchanges don't accept it. You will be stuck with 4-6 confirmations.

Vanillacoin only needs 1 confirmation for deposits on Poloniex after a code review.

Don't much about this coin.
Is this evan a cryptonote?

No, the codebase was written from scratch while keeping the basic concept of cryptocurrencies in mind.

Don't much about this coin.
Is this evan a cryptonote?

No this coin is not based on cryptonote, its a full rewrite with industry standard enhancements on the BTC and PPC code. In the future ring signatures schould get enabled through darkpp. Also this coin is being developed to be backward compatible so coins like BTC can adopt the technologies VNL develops.

The greatest challenge is to dethrone BTC, and after that $, so we don't even have to convert to BTC or $ any more.
That's the whole point, isn't it?

Comedy trolls? That's new. I appreciate the attempt at humour, but why not troll actual shitclone coins that deserve it and test the jokes there. It's not funny here, just pathetic. There are only 7 colours btw.

That should give a few people a big advantage mining this coin.

You have to love the energy savings if you have the skill to get one running

It will be a public mining software and most people around the world should have the ability to buy a ztex quad board.

GPU mining gives a bigger advantage to a selected few on most coins that are not sha256 since the devs don't make their code public.

Only advantage will be for people who have a few of these boards at hand already, but yeah, anyone can get them.

I agree those who have these laying around from the old FPGA bitcoin mining days will have a slight edge. You might see a few old FPGA farms being revitalized as well

Is this the best place to order them from http://shop.ztex.de/product_info.php?products_id=74  or do you have some other recommendations?

Another shitcoin scam with toxic community like shadowcash, would not be surprised if its the same developer.

Also, speaking of doing things new, have you seen the ZeroTime protocol that this new VanillaCoin is using?  I'm not pumping VanillaCoin, it appears to have some strange FUD surrounding it's launch and at least one very salty user.  I discovered the concept last night and am trying to read more on it, but it sounds very interesting.

I'm not sure what the implications are for privacy though.

It's a scam shitcoin like shadowcash.

fast-pow-to-pos = run away.

vnl is a pow/pos coin, unlimited pow duration and only 0.7% inflation, ignorant. And it's more innovative than your neverending bloated cryptonote clones. Not surprising for monerofl community given the average IQ level.

and sdc is a good coin too, more innovative than xmr and aeon united. Blind fanboys.

I'm not joining a cesspool of trolls and scammers, and your post still spam and offtopic (besides disrespectful).

innovation? I doubt it, fancy marketing gimmicks don't fool me, call me ignorant any day. I know real innovation when I see one. The fact you are attacking me and an entire community of coins only proves this.

You come here, call a non-bitcoin based cryptocurrency with a fulltime dev since half a year a shitcoin with a "we love monero" under your avatar and expect me not to call the Monero community a toxic one?

Do your research kid.

You are the worst troll in this thread so far. No one went on bashing your fork of Bytecoin, so please leave the hate out of this thread, we are not trolling you, so do the same.

Feels good doesn't? Think twice before going in another coin thread attacking people because they are NOT INTERESTED YOUR SCAM Cool

From the quotes it seemed that lucky went in your thread and asked a question and you went full agressive with your reply.

Nothing validates your behaviour in this thread. Do your research on coins before you call them a scam. Several times when I was asked on legit coins in the crypto scene I mentioned XMR/SDC to different people while I'm only invested in VNL, I'm a fan of both. Stop being an asshole and crawl back into your cave.

Just a friendly reminder - if the toxic BTCTalk vitriol starts to become an issue, there is a moderated thread started by John as well as the Vanillacoin forums.

I'm all for free speech but having sat through countless troll fests,  another one does not sound palatable...

Cheers!

If I went in every thread that calls Monero a scam I would stay forever on bitcointalk, VNL is shit and I would rather not be indoctrinated in why you want me to believe otherwise about your coin while I'm trying to follow another coin development.

vnl is a pow/pos coin, unlimited pow duration and only 0.7% inflation, ignorant. And it's more innovative than your neverending slow-ass bloated cryptonote clones. Not surprising for monerofl community given the average IQ level.

There is a life outside monero.

no gui no pools etc some deja vu here nothing will be done after one year Smiley

You fail to understand that I am the owner of this thread and I'm supporting the idea behind Monero. Seems I need to state it again, I even advised several people to look at it if they need a full privacy oriented project.

Don't troll a community because someone from the given community rustled your jimmies.

He is the 4th troll I've encountered here, I don't think we have an issue with it honestly. I'm heavily for free speach, but yeah, if things get critical people can decide for themselves where to continue.

Imho an open thread looks a lot better, DASH still have their unmoderated thread even after 5k pages. People stop after a time.
