https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=977777 has some pictures of the empty office - empty except for some chairs, gift boxes (probably empty)

This is just a picture of an empty office, I don't see anything that connects this particular empty office to any particular entity. You might as well claim this office belongs to Avalon, Bitfury, or Huwaei. It's like people selling miners without their username/date--it's not very strong proof of anything.

Any thoughts?
Yes, it's asicminer office (room 1317). I can gurantee, I've been there. Before the holiday, there were many young guys working there.
And you know what? The ShenZhen office of TSMC is downstairs (room 1201) !!!

Well, looks like David did fire everybody... This is all on him...

If you're going to post this you might as well explain and give the public some details...

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
Secure. Private. Untraceable.

I went to the racetrack last night to bet on some ponies.
Even though I was gambling, there was such a good feeling that I handed my money over to a real person.
And, he didn't jump over the counter and run away.
Or, when race 6 started, all of the horses showed up.

In the bitcoin world, I would have made a bet by dropping my money in a hole.
Race 6 would have started.  And nobody would have showed up.
I would have shaken my head in disgust that I just lost my money
and then gotten back in line to bet on race 7.

Are you sure?  Huh Looking at the Chinese in the photo (yes, I read Chinese). Office 1317 does *not* seems to be ASICMiner. It says something like "Shenzhen XXXX XXXX Investment Consultancy Company Ltd"  (XXX XXX is too blurry to see) and "Hong Kong XXX XXX International Group".
If you insists they are ASICMiner, it may be ASICMiner is hiding under these company names, or something else.

Looking at the Chinese in the photo (yes, I read Chinese).
I believe the two relevant lines read (based on the full res image - check the weibo):
深圳原丰投资咨询有限公同
香港兴业国际集团
My Chinese is deplorable when it comes to proper/business names. But as mentioned elsewhere: neither definitively translates to 'asicminer' in any way.  Google tries to translate the business bit as 'HSBC', which I'm doubting is right Smiley

Based on your clarified Chinese characters, I tried to translate to English as close to original meaning as possible:

"深圳原丰投资咨询有限公同"
"Shenzhen Yuan Fung Investment Consultancy Company Ltd"
(原丰 is just a kind of name)

"香港兴业国际集团"
"Hong Kong Heung Yip International Group"
(兴业 is just a kind of name)
I google this company and found "香港興業國際集團有限公司" (www.hkri.com)
It is a land developer (much larger than ASICMiner, definitely not ASICMiner)

You maybe right, it may be ASICMiner is hiding under these company names or they just didn't replace the old company name.
I also checked out the mail box of 1317 and the name is 深圳比特泉信息科技有限公司 that is Bitquan or Asicminer.

深圳比特泉信息科技有限公司

Found that:
比特 (bǐtè) =bit (binary digit) (loanword)
泉 (quán) = spring (small stream) / mouth of a spring / coin (archaic)

深圳比特泉信息科技有限公司 is really ASICMiner according to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=873923.0
But this name is not shown in the directory in the above photo.

According to "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=873923.0", Asicminer is located in Nanshan district of Shenzhen.

Speaking as a bag-holder of course (Although I did make 10x on my initial investments in BTC): so this is just the usual FUD. Occam would suggest that either BE300 completely failed so that friedcat finally decided to just run with the rest of the money, or that he decided that nonetheless.
Not much I can do, as I can't sell shares that are in friedcat's "control" anyway.

movie plot...thickening...

But yeah, I'd guess either they didn't bother to change the business directory, didn't want it changed, or shared the office space even if only in a virtual capacity (e.g. for delivery of goods).  Maybe BLN can put up a picture of the mailbox label to appease the conspiracy people Smiley

I suggest that in the BE300S thread, but I'm not sure many people read that. The BE300S results seemed good, but as far as I know there was never any independent verification of that here. If there was a problem going from BE300S to BE300 or if there was fundamental issues with BE300S that they couldn't solve in an economic way, it might have been at the point that he decided to cut and run.

You could always go look at the financials posted for YE2014 to see what the cash situation was like. Tongue
