We must admit they ''got'' a good price for the company that was fading away anyway and could not keep with competition. It's called going out with a bang... I hope it's not a standard of what kind of people are in those other mining companies.

Is friedcat still "missing"?

He can not get "not missing" after what he has done. He will be forever missing and laugh at his victims having some beer with his pals on some beach Wink

Or rotting away on the bottom of some lake with some stones on its feets. And some random dragon head (bosses of triads, the chinese mafia) will laugh instead. I mean thats likely if you think about that bitcoins are interesting for the organized crime. If they came to that point and found out that there is a chinese company that is very rich and has no protection at all... then its not far fetched to take the possibility that he was taken by force. I mean nowadays a bank robbery will give you some measly K USD, though friedcat was a million USD target with no protection. If you think about it then its a wonder that something like that didnt happen before.  Roll Eyes

Though i really would like to know the truth. Organized crime could have gone in way before too.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Or abducted by aliens and is being probed right now  Roll Eyes I think it is pretty obvious he ran off after this last gen was a bust. I do not think that was his plan from the start, but after multiple failed gens of miners he bailed.

You never know how someone ticks in reality, thats right. But leaving behind his wife? And being honest all the time before? I mean he had way better chances before.

But you never know.  Roll Eyes

I was a bit late to crypto to have any respect for FC or AM, but since people say they were "legit" someday... their demise to the darkside is of course a drama on its own...
You know, when serious things come into play, someone has to be a betrayer.. someone just has to take this role.. And like Judas, as the most prominent disciple, took it, so FC took that role as AM leader. The time was right, there is less law enforcement and less scrutiny in China, it seems, and the opportunity to scam was correct for AM and Rockminer also.
Like they say - don't have the player, hate the game... Wink

In fact i have the impression china is going after bitcoins scammers way better than in other countries. There are many, and fast, news about scammers being catched. So friedcat would have to have a good plan to vanish.

Well what else can be posted in this thread? AM is obviously done and over with, and the almighty FC is gone.

I suspect FC will come back once BTC price is at $400.  He will pay back the "loan" that we gave him for the time he was missing.

Yeah right.  And MtGox will repay all the bitcoins *lost* when the BTC price is at $1

When there is no company anymore, it's natural that nothing happens. Haven't you heard that they scammed all their cloudmining customers before closing Wink
Even if they had some plans they can't operate under the name AM anymore, because it's ruined. It's like GAW tried to set up a new cloudmining platform who, except, brainwashed hashtards would invest? Smiley
Such is life, no one trusts you after you steal..
