Well, they've found 276 blocks at btcguild - based on that their payouts should be around 6900 BTC so far.

Keep up the good work, friedcat and friends!

Maybe this is answered in previous 100 pages of posts... Why can't they use https://btct.co/ ?

No one really trusts btct.co. I'd rather see it on BitFunder.

I am curious as to how this perception came to be.  I've been pretty diligent about trying to counter the FUD campaigns.  (there have been several unfortunately.)

Security is probably a good reason.

Heh.  I still have the logs from all your probing.  Wink  Did I miss anything?  I'm willing to pay for good proven hacks that work against the core integrity of the exchange.  (eg, share/wallet/order manipulation, etc.)

Please direct replies over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=125629.0

Cheers.

Edit/Add, the OP on the btct.co thread is also a good read for anyone concerned about a repeat of the GLBSE fiasco.  Long story short; BTCTC asset issuers already have the list and updates are sent out twice daily.

Did you get the confirmation email from friedcat a month or two ago, with this address and balance according to GLBSE data?

Friedcat, would you mind sharing power consumption numbers (Mhash/Joule) of your chips? Do they match what you initially estimated?

No answer? If I were a shareholder I would want to know to be able to infer operational costs that are bound to increase in the near future.

power consumption currently isn't the defining criterium. But I suspect it will be mentioned in one of the upcoming updates.

Fresh speculations on competitors:

Avalon: Shipping batch 1 on Monday, expected to reach customers Mar 15, 290 units @ 66 GH/s approx. 20 TH/s.

BFL: The comedy continues: chips have been in bumping for 15 days (Josh, Feb 5: "It should take no more than 24 hours to bump all our chips"). They will still need packaging, assembly, testing, final assembly and shipping. Not to mention that each of these steps occur in different locations. I would be surprised if BFL products hit customers before April.

ASICMINER: Already hashing  Cool

But why the hell is the hashrate only 3-5 TH/s -- it should be 12+! This is an incredible window of opportunity, but it will be closing soon...
