Bought more AMPs,not bad AMP value is constantly going down. Why buy now? $130,000 worth of Amps need to be purchased to take it back up to 30k satoshis. (not alot) I am fairly sure someone out there who decided to wait untill after the crowdsale to buy is going to fill that gap. Who will buy now whilst BTC is on the move up ? May as keep hold of the 130K and buy more in a few days/weeks.

Atm, anyone who buys from poloniex is getting a 30 -40 % discount from crowdsale prices. Its an attractive buy & it won't last long.

I agree and have been scooping more up at these prices but I understand people with that kind of cash don't even worry about forcing the price lower. BTC won't go up forever but seems to be unstoppable the past week.

Now it is 949,291,063 AMP Wow, when I saw that figure on coinmarketcap I assumed it hadn't been updated yet. Thanks for the info.

The total available now is 62 million. There are additionally some 900 million locked away. There's still only 62 million essentially (soon to be around 87 million after crowdsale AMP released), because counting the amps that are locked up now would be like counting ethereum's inflation for the next decade and adding it to the current number of eth on the market. Also, those additional AMPs won't go to miners but rather to support the ecosystem. For example they have some % set aside for dapp development, marketing, future development, etc - so whenever those additional AMPs are released, it won't just be standard inflation because the additional AMPs will help the ecosystem itself grow.

I hope you mean "good buy"... You realize synereo's current marketcap is less that 1/3rd of dogecoins? The market drove the price up to 43k satoshi BEFORE they destroyed half of those locked away AMPs. To anyone who doesn't see the opportunity here, I don't know what to say... Even if they WERE to release 100% of the locked away AMPs tomorrow, at current prices synereo would STILL be 1/10th market cap of Ethereum. Synereo is a far better project than ethereum, and honestly - even ethereum's $1 billion market cap will seem tiny once this tech becomes more widely adopted.

I think the team holding so much is always going to be sort of a dark cloud hanging over this project. Even after the burn it's a huge amount to be released/sold at their discretion. They just raised almost $5m, do they really need 900m AMP in order to further fund development and get the project to the point where it's self-sustaining and successful?

My opinion on what is happening is that certain naive individuals expected a significant increase in the AMP price immediately after the crowdsale concluded. When they realized that it might not occur immediately they all started panic selling causing this decline and are pointing their fingers at imaginary "whales" when in reality they should be looking in the mirror and pointing it at themselves.
Excuse me? user DecentralizeEconomics was hyping about AMP reaching ridiculous high prices very fast ( 'next year at least 4 dollar' ) There was no manipulation ? how about the large sell walls followed by bots on the sell side driving the price down ? it was obvious market manipulation. If you dont see it you're a rookie trader or part of the manipulation team.
