1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Influencer Fight Club 2 on: Today at 05:43:12 AM
Watching two rich, nerdy beta males attempt to fight each other isn’t my idea of entertainment. I don’t know why Nic Carter, of the Taproot Wizards shitcoin scammers, was chosen as the BTC representative. I think I will pass on this. Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul, who were both peddling NFTs, is enough of a freak show for me. I don’t need to watch these other shitcoin influencers.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed loans on: Today at 05:14:50 AM
THORChain offers 0% interest Bitcoin backed loans, with no liquidation risk, and no expiration. You can use native Bitcoin as collateral, without the need for wrappers. The collateralizaton ratio is really high, and you will need to provide twice the value of your loan amount as collateral. Currently, however, borrowing against BTC isn’t available due to having reached their cap.

Another option, would be Debifi, which also lets you use native Bitcoin as collateral. I saw a demonstration of it on the BTC Sessions YouTube channel. From what I saw, the interest rates seem to be really high. If you really need the loan, I would check it out to see if any offers with reasonable interest rates have become available.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: Today at 04:45:29 AM
It's just crazy how blinded are the fans of Tank Davis. The belt he won over Barrios was only the regular version though so it does not count since the real WBA belt was held by either Pacman or Ugas at that time. But this current email belt is a real one, emailed to him by the corrupt WBA after Haney vacated all the belts.

The interim and regular belt nonsense is getting out of hand. PBC is by far the worst offender out of all the promoters. This card with Tank will have two interim fights, WBC interim light heavyweight and WBC interim super lightweight, and the other two fights on PPV will involve Carlos Adames, who is also an email champion that was elevated from interim to full champion by the WBC, and there is Tank himself, who didn’t become world champion inside the ring but was elevated once Haney moved up.

These belts don’t mean anything anymore if they are being handed out so gratuitously. To make matters worse, many of these PBC paper champions end up holding the belts hostage for a long time by being inactive.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Teofimo Lopez vs Steve Claggett WBO Super Lightweight Title - June 29 on: May 23, 2024, 08:35:19 AM
Teo has had some recent fight where he looked bad when he faced unknown fighters. He was written off for a while but did have a brilliant fight against Josh Taylor. He needs another performance like that if he wants to build more hype for his career. Matias and Haney could be big fights for him, but he will have to prove that he is worth the high purses he is demanding by winning spectacularly. This is an opponent he is meant to look good against. Hopefully he won’t stink up the place like he did against Jamaine Ortiz.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy on Dogecoin? on: May 23, 2024, 07:48:27 AM
Blockchain analysis companies, for the time being, have not shown much interest in monitoring dogecoin. You can use it somewhat privately by avoiding KYC services and not reusing addresses. Dogecoin development has not been very active either at the protocol level or wallets and services level so I would not expect any advanced privacy features to be implemented any time soon.

Like other UTXO coins, Dogecoin could have coinjoin or MWEB, like Litecoin, but users mostly prefer it because they want the price to pump or it’s a temporary solution to high BTC fees. Its users aren’t very concerned with privacy.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: May 22, 2024, 06:02:11 AM
I’ve checked the odds and Zhilei Zhang seems to be the slight favorite. The Chinese fighter is a lot like Wilder in that he relies almost entirely on his knockout power to win fights. There is not many other dimensions to their strategy. It will be about who will be able to better resist their opponent's power.

Wilder is 38 years old, but Zhang is even older at 41. Zhang’s age and worse conditioning will be the factors which I believe will give Wilder an upset victory, as long is he isn’t too gun shy like he was against Parker.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 22, 2024, 05:47:54 AM
There is definitely a lot of corruption in boxing. This doesn’t make it the worst sport to bet on, it’s actually the opposite because you can usually predict an outcome based on who generates the most revenue for the sanctioning organizations, boxing commissions and promoters.

It is very rare for a superstar fighter like Canelo to get screwed by a decision. It’s always the opposite and Canelo you can guarantee that Canelo will win a close decision that could have gone either way. Fighters like Canelo and Gervonta Davis also have the luxury of picking their opponents so that they will fight somebody who is easy to beat and they will look good against. Even when there are more deserving fighters that should be their opponent, they will sidestep them without facing repercussions like having their belts stripped.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: May 22, 2024, 05:34:34 AM
If you look at the FUN token price in the equivalent of sats, it has no bottom because the higher the BTC price, the lower the FUN token price will be. If nothing changes, the FUN token price may fall below 1 sat. However, if we look at the FUN token price in the equivalent of USDT, it seems that $0.005 is the bottom, considering that the FUN token price has been at this level for a very long time.

With Ethereum pumping so hard recently, I would have expected FUN to be performing better. Being an Ethereum token, one of the easiest ways to acquire FUN is by buying it with ETH on Uniswap. A majority of ERC-20 tokens are up double digit percentages in the past 7 days. FUN somehow manages to always defy bullish trends and remains flat, never going much higher than $0.005.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: May 21, 2024, 05:33:59 AM
This is your last post on the forum because I kept waiting for you to inform us of the latest updates that you have come up with with the platform. The interesting idea is not that the platform imposes Kyc procedures on you after you reach level 66 as a result of years of activity. This is not surprising at all, but it caught my attention that you cannot prove a photo of the local ID card in your country, as if your country only uses driver’s licenses as ID cards (How? Anyone who does not have a driver's license may obtain an identity card) and that you rushed to report what happened to you instead of submitting an application to the authorities to renew your passport.

BC.GAME is one of the best platforms on the market and its integrity can be recognized at all levels, as evidenced by the fact that they will certainly allow you to complete the withdrawals as soon as you are able to prove your identity, which is unambiguous. What is also strange is that you are surprised by their imposition of these measures on you, as if you thought they trusted you without review.

This casino is listed front and center on the homepage of a website called No To KYC. I can see why some people would be surprised at the KYC requirements, when it is so often misrepresented as a casino where you can play completely anonymously. As always, users should review the terms and conditions beforehand so they don’t receive any unexpected surprises. Some of these websites will straight up lie to get people to sign up through their affiliate link.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I’m currently researching BaseChain, here’s what I found on: May 21, 2024, 05:09:45 AM
I will always remain skeptical of Coinbase. They obviously have a very large budget that they can invest into creating and marketing a successful layer 2 blockchain. It’s disappointing that they owe so much of their success to Bitcoin, but have never showed much interest in contributing any value to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Velodrome Finance, which is what AERO based their project on, is considered one of the most successful ve(3,3) decentralized exchanges. There are many projects that have taken inspiration from them. In the case of Aerodrome Finance they have already surpassed Velodrome in TVL and token market cap. I feel like VELO might be undervalued and could have more upside, but Base has attracted so much attention that will surely continue to drive up demand for AERO, so this token is a safer bet.

If AERO is the token you prefer, I would try to earn it mostly from incentivized pools, rather than buying it directly. The APRs are still really high that you will be able to accumulate a decent amount of token rewards in a short amount of time.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 21, 2024, 04:26:19 AM
If Loma wants money then obviously it is Tank Davis due to its huge fanbase. Navarette lost his bid to become champion at 135 today so he is out of Loma's radar while new WBO champ Berinchyk is another Ukrainian that has no fanbase in the western world. We saw how boring Shakur's last fight and there will be less fans in his next fight. Which is why Shakur is hyping himself now, calling the bigger names.

Even if a fight with Berinchyk was marketable, I doubt two Ukranian fighters would really fight each other unless it was absolutely necessary. Picking Tank over Shakur seems like the most logical option. It is the fight which will draw the most fans because of the potential to be an exciting fight. As good as Shakur is, his style is just not appealing in this era where people want to see sensational knockouts.

It all depends on whether Tank is serious about wanting to fight Loma. It’s unclear how much involvement Floyd still has in Tank’s career, but there is some clear animosity between them. Hopefully, Tank will free himself from Mayweather’s control and start making his own decisions. Floyd has been holding him back by being so overprotective.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: May 20, 2024, 05:50:10 PM
If you were to sell your FUN tokens on FreeBitco.in right now, you would only get 6 sats per token. A new all time low. The trading volume on Binance seems healthy at over $1 million in the past 24 hours, but when you compare it to another major CEX like Bitfinex it is only $8. There is a likelihood that a lot of the volume on Binance is from wash trading, considering how massive the difference is between these exchanges.

With the amount of AI shill accounts inundating their Telegram, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were also doing something to artificially boost their trading volume and keep it looking somewhat healthy to prevent the price from completely collapsing.

As much effort as they’re putting in to keep up appearances, the long term trends don’t look good. This token’s price may eventually fall to below 1 satoshi.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 20, 2024, 01:19:46 AM
I see you're not a Fury fan to the point that you're being unreasonable in your criticism.
Why would he be content in fighting bums? Not for the glory/legacy, that's for sure, so for money? A rematch with Usyk would yield them much more than a dozen bum fights.

He lost to Usyk in a close fight by split decision while dealing more physical damage to Usyk than the other way around. Of course he's not without a chance in a rematch, so why would he be afraid of it?

Plus, they had a rematch clause in the contract, both confirmed they want it to happen, and it's tentatively scheduled for 12th October, so this is happening unless one of them backs out of it (there could be some penalties involved though).

Fury has been a polarizing and controversial figure. People would have looked for reasons to discredit him regardless of the outcome. I don’t really get it, it’s not like he is Jake Paul. I’ve seen some opinions online from people saying he is a bum who has never beaten any good fighters and that he was easily defeated by an MMA fighter. Paradoxically, most of these people are now saying that Usyk is the #1 fighter in the world after winning against an "overrated bum" like Fury.

Usyk is indeed a great fighter, but whether people want to admit it or not, Fury is also great. Up until this loss, I would’ve considered him the best heavyweight in the post-Klitschko era. Winning his titles against a legend like Klitschko in his adopted home country of Germany, and then being the first to beat a fearsome killer like Wilder are not accomplishments that can easily be ignored.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: May 20, 2024, 12:29:27 AM
Have you ever heard of DEFI? Currently there is a staking program, where you can buy a crypto asset (such as WBTC or ETHEREUM) and you get dividends from that staking, this is a good thing especially if you plan to invest long term so staking is something I really recommend, you You can also do DCA by staking, currently there are many coins that provide a staking feature for their token investor
Staking is passive income but the percentage changes and the genuine ones have a fair percentage that doesn't go that much of more than 10% yield annually.

Returns greater than 10% are possible but there is also going to be greater risk. The more yield you are promised, the more likely you are to suffer impermanent loss. Stablecoin investments tend to be safer, but the yield you earn might barely be enough to offset inflation and in the longer term it will perform worse than just holding Bitcoin. In fact, almost every altcoin will do worse than Bitcoin. It’s not wise to just start throwing money at a bunch of random altcoins. The best DeFi investment strategy is the one that maximizes your (wrapped) Bitcoin earnings.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concerns grow over online gambling among teens on: May 20, 2024, 12:06:51 AM
And would you agree with him in implementing gambling prevention education in schools?

This is unnecessary. Every once in a while there will be some manufactured panic about kids being addicted to gambling, and when that stops getting clicks they move onto kids getting addicted to porn, or cigarettes, or vaping. These concerns are overblown. On the rare occasion that a teenager gets addicted to the point that it is ruining their life, they should certainly seek help, but it’s not something where we need mandates and regulation to combat.

Gambling laws in the US are already strict enough. It’s been hard enough to get them to a more reasonable and less restrictive level.

We are going to see more propaganda about kids gambling as these mobile apps become more popular, but no matter how well intentioned they think they are being, pushing for stricter KYC and other measures isn’t going to keep teens out of trouble and will only punish honest people who want to have some enjoyment through sports betting.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 19, 2024, 12:51:24 AM
Great fight. I would give it something like 7/5 to Usyk. Fury did well to recover after the knockdown but he was saved by the ropes and the bell but won a couple of the later rounds. One of the judges giving it to Fury needs to be investigated. Even a draw would have been controversial. I'm looking forward to the rematch in October. Fury needs to go for broke in that. I thought Fury was taking the loss well until he said he thought he won and Usyk probably got some sympathy votes from the judges because of the war. Just say it was close but you were narrowly beaten by the better man and you'll look to avenge the loss in the rematch. He would have gained so many fans back if he said something like that.

A draw wasn’t out of the realm of possibility. People always feel like there needs to be a clear cut winner and that it should be in favor of their preferred fighter. There is always going to be a degree of subjectivity, and when they are so evenly matched there will never be 100% consensus. Watching it live, I scored it a draw, (6 rounds Fury, 5 rounds Usyk, 1 round even, and a knockdown in Usyk’s favor).

Fury didn’t need to bring up the military conflict in Ukraine, but anybody who loses a close decision would look for anything to grasp onto. There is definitely a strong pro-Ukranian bias from some in the boxing media, but this wasn’t why Fury lost a decision. He should instead reflect on his mistakes and how he can fix them. He might be declining, but he’s still capable of winning the rematch.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 18, 2024, 11:55:29 PM
It wouldn’t be a Tyson Fury fight if he didn’t get badly hurt. He did manage to recover, like he often does, but this time around it wasn’t enough and this was the key to Usyk’s victory. Fury seemed to be in control of the fight up until that point, but Usyk maintained his discipline and was looking for any mistake he could take advantage of. Fury’s carelessness and his cockiness came back to bite him. Once Usyk hurt him, he never relented and swept the final rounds on my scorecard.

The fight will likely be remembered for Fury getting badly hurt, but it was a great fight with good moments for both fighters. There will probably be a rematch, which I expect will be very competitive as well. Fury still has exceptional talent but his resistance has deteriorated further. If he cannot win the rematch, it would be better for him to retire rather than continue to take damage.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX or DEX: Which One Rewards You More? on: May 18, 2024, 04:20:57 PM
I don’t really need to trade a million different shitcoins. I won’t put my privacy and security at risk by using KYC exchanges for something I rarely ever need. Decentralized exchanges are much better because they don’t require any personal information.

For swapping between crypto and fiat, the user experience is not the greatest when using something like Bisq. DEXs like Uniswap are far more user friendly and have billions of dollars in TVL, so liquidity shouldn’t be an issue. Becoming a liquidity provider is one of the most interest aspects of these DEXs. You can earn a really decent income from the APYs offered for providing liquidity. One of the innovations of DEXs is the voting escrow model where you can earn significant rewards by actively participating in their governance.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Floyd Mayweather detained in Dubai due to gambling debts? on: May 18, 2024, 03:39:48 PM
This is old news. Floyd was already released several weeks ago. I don’t think his detention had anything to do with gambling debts. The YouTube channel you linked to is full of fake stories. A lot of that channel's recent videos have photoshopped thumbnails of Floyd in a jumpsuit and have the most sensational titles which are completely made up. Floyd is not in prison, he was just in LA giving away thousands of dollars to homeless people. As crazy as it sounds, that story is actually true. https://www.tmz.com/2024/05/02/floyd-mayweather-gifts-homeless-men-money-before-clippers-mavs-nba-playoff-game/
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 18, 2024, 07:04:27 AM
I didn’t think I would wake up to videos of Mile Tyson saying that he got an erection watching a 16 year old Jake Paul do tik tok dances, but here we are. As sick and twisted as that statement is, it’s somewhat refreshing to have an insane Mile Tyson back saying insanely gay things to terrify his opponents. I almost forgot what it was like. Lol

I was wondering if we would get to see the Mike Tyson from the Lennox Lewis press conference who called a reporter a punk ass white boy and threatened to rape him until he loved him. He is known for saying truly unhinged things but this comment about 16 year old Jake Paul just came off as really weird. I’m not sure if that’s exactly what he said, it’s unclear from his mumbling and stuttering, but that’s what was written in all the headlines. Just when you think this clown show reached its peak level of ridiculousness, something even stupider comes out.
