741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: September 14, 2023, 05:45:51 AM
I have seen many casino platforms where there is no age limit. Again, I saw on some platforms that it is given whether the age is 18+. All these things are not complicated in the casino platform. I have seen a lot of underage kids who are between 12 and 15 years old gambling on casino platforms. So I see that online casinos do not follow any age.

Although some casino platforms do not allow children under the age of 18+ to play at the casino, if there is a KYC system, children can steal other people's information and complete KYC. So how can you ban minors from casino platforms? You cannot catch how they are gambling on the casino platform.

Most casinosides contain no kyc system. You can gamble by having an account there. If you want to take legal action against all these casino sites then you will suffer a lot. Because you will definitely need a lot of money to file a legal action in which case you will have to provide a lot of money. At some point it will appear that you have lost the case against this casino platform. So the casino platform will continue to run at its own pace and all persons including adults and minors will participate in betting. For this we cannot take any action against the casino platform.

Whenever a user signs up to a casino they have to agree to abide by their local regulations. If someone violates their rules then they are not responsible for that user's losses and they also have the right to confiscate their earnings. A legal case would not be likely to succeed because the user would be at fault for ignoring the terms they agreed to when they registered.

KYC can be trivially bypassed in many situations where a business does not have direct in-person interaction with their customers and that is why it is a flawed policy for online casinos but there are other sophisticated methods they can adopt to prevent fraudulent activity.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 13, 2023, 05:50:18 PM
Have you guys noticed, that with time, vote poll became more even? If at first, Fury was domination among users selection, now he is leading only with few votes. Why suddenly users opinion changed so much ? Because of 1) they observed current form of Fury 2) the role of Mike Tyson in Ngannou camp became more valuable 3) people noticed something new in Ngannou 4) they just randomly chose the winner Cheesy

Fury has a lot of haters who just want to see him lose. He is very arrogant and often contradicts himself by saying he cares more about legacy than about the money. Even if he is justified in wanting a higher percentage against Joshua and Usyk people will still blame him for those negotiations failing. He is not the people's champion as he likes to portray himself. He obviously cares very much about money and has made it the primary reason for why he is competing in the sport.

745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 10, 2023, 06:22:00 AM
An update on this fight: Frank Martin has pulled out and Stevenson is now looking to fight #6 ranked fighter Edwin de los Santos.
https://www.boxingscene.com/shakur-stevenson-seeks-new-opponent-wbc-lightweight-title-fight-frank-martin-out--177598

My guess is that Haymon has managed to pull some strings and another one of Haney's belts will suddenly be declared vacant so that Martin can face an easier opponent instead. Stevenson has called himself the most ducked fighter in boxing and that claim may be accurate. None of the top fighters in the division seem too interested in fighting him.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 09, 2023, 09:09:00 PM
And I read that this is for the interim WBC title at 135 lbs? What gives? I mean they still have their regular champion in Haney so why the hell WBC have to put up another interim belt on the line? It doesn't make sense. All they have to do is wait for the result of this fight and whoever it is, then fight their regular champion, be the mandatory fighter for the belt held by Haney?

I guess corrupt WBC will have to give way again to Top Rank to have another champion in the line for them. In any case, this is a good fight as I have said before, but Shakur for me has the better skills and will win the fight.

The confusion is caused by the ridiculous amount of belts that the WBC hands out. They have the regular champion, franchise champion, champion in recess, and interim championship. The media is reporting that Shakur vs. Martin is for the interim belt but the WBC website states that it's for the vacant title which means that Haney is no longer champion. Shakur is already the mandatory but Haney has decided to move up in weight and fight Prograis instead. The other sanctioning bodies should follow suit and allow the top challengers to fight for their titles instead of allowing Haney to hold the belts hostage in a division he is no longer competing in.
747  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mixing coins through exchanges on: September 08, 2023, 07:21:14 PM
Being strict in terms is nowhere close to that. They can't scrutinize your data, because they don't possess it in the first place:
Quote
We neither require registration nor store logs. Once the mixing is done and transaction confirmed, the data on processed transactions is deleted. Following up to 7 days during which we expect to receive your deposit, the data also gets erased.

Is their source code auditable? Otherwise, it's an unverifiable claim. PureVPN also claimed they didn't keep logs and then went on to help the FBI arrest a hacker using their service. Trust, Don't Verify is the opposite of what you're supposed to do.

Jambler is an investment-based mixer, where users can choose to provide liquidity and take a commission from mixing. It's very reasonable that they analyze the blockchain to prevent an investor from clearing their money and gaining profit at the same time.

As an update to my little friend Kruw, who's really interested in the integrity of the services we advertise here, I've changed my mind about Mixtum after a conversation I've had with my campaign manager, and after a thorough research of mine. It's very likely that they're having strict terms to avoid sanctioning as they are considered money transmitting service.

As for your insistence that Mixtum is a blockchain analysis company: that doesn't even pass the laugh test. Someone who does blockchain analysis doesn't mean that's their product.

I don't see how doing thorough research suddenly makes blacklists and censorship "reasonable" after incessant pearl clutching and preaching how those services should be avoided.

As a money transmitter, centralized custodial mixers are legally required to maintain records, respond to law enforcement requests, report transactions over $10,000, and file reports on any suspicious activity. The semantics over whether a for-profit business analyzing the blockchain with proprietary algorithms is a blockchain analysis company would be the least of my worries.
748  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mixing coins through exchanges on: September 08, 2023, 06:02:01 AM
Point to where in their Terms they say they are funding blockchain analysis companies like Wasabi does.

MixTum is a sort of whitelabel mixer operating on behalf of [banned mixer]. On Jambler's website they have a /images/scheme-2.png]diagram showing that all BTC that passes through their platform is evaluated through a scoring system. When you look at how their scoring system works it explicitly states that they use blockchain analysis.

Quote from: https://[banned mixer
/become-seller.php]To eliminate risks of getting a cryptocurrency of questionable origin, all Bitcoins are checked by the platform scoring system (including blockchain analysis). Transactions which have passed the check, get into the system and transaction which have failed the check, are returned to a customer from the same wallet with a deduction of commission fee of the platform and Bitcoin network for a transaction

749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luis Alberto Lopez Vs Joet Gonzalez IBF World Featherweight Title SEP 15 2023 on: September 03, 2023, 05:44:56 PM
Joet Gonzalez has come up short in his previous attempts at conquering a world title and I don't see the outcome being any different this time. Lopez's resume speaks for itself. He has beaten an undefeated prospect and has back to back wins in the UK.

Robeisy is not a draw but neither is "El Venado" Lopez. Inoue has options if he decides to move up. Unifying the division is a great way to become a frontrunner amongst those options.
750  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 03, 2023, 06:51:57 AM
There are some other questions that I have too:
1. Can I use VPN? I can't find answer about that in FAQ page.
2. Let's say I purchased 2500 fun token on hold them on my freebitco account. These fun tokens should give me 4 free spin of Wheel of Fortune. If I don't visit my account for 30 days, will the number of my free spins sum and become 120? Or will the unused WoF spins become nulled after a certain timeframe?

VPN usage is allowed if you are not abusing the site.

There is no rule about using VPN as many people use them for privacy reasons. The only things that are forbidden are using more than 1 account or using bots/automation.

Your Wheel of Fortune spins will accumulate and don't expire.
751  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 01, 2023, 08:55:59 AM
Guys, what do you think, is it worth to buy fun tokens? As I see, they are losing value but they also give you free spins every day. Where can I find the win chance of different prizes on Wheel Of Fortune? Also, is it allowed to have multiple accounts on this website? Because as I see, it's more beneficial to have 10 accounts and deposit 5000 fun token on each of them instead of just buying 50 000 FUN token on one account.
By the way, commissions that some people have earned are just amazing, I bet this website was paying a lot of bitcoins years ago.
Sorry, I'm new in this campaign, so don't get surprised when you see Freebitco in my signature and questions like this.

When you are making a spin there is an “i” you can click on for information on the wheel prizes. As for the question about having multiple accounts, it will likely get you banned like the guy in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406915.0
752  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: September 01, 2023, 08:21:29 AM
I don't know what's going on here but wait, if chipmixer service is down, why "o_e_l_e_o" is to be blamed ?
And again if anything goes wrong at Mixtum why are you putting a blame on him ? He has nothing to do in all this.

And here you are saying that any issues at ""WHIRLWIND.MONEY", the responsible person is BlackHatCoiner ?
Why ? How  Huh

Several posts in this and some other threads do give off the appearance of being thinly veiled attempts to promote competing privacy services. It seems odd that people who advertised failed mixer after failed mixer are so laser focused on Wasabi. Custodial mixers aren’t held to nearly the same standard despite having a much higher risk of losing money. It is only natural to question people’s motivations when attacking one service but ignoring or downplaying glaring problems with custodial mixers.

It appears to be ByBit moving funds into a new cold wallet.

754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After all these years on: August 31, 2023, 06:04:49 AM
We've been hearing for many years that XRP is partnering with banks and nothing has really come of it. It's meaningless shitcoin marketing. There are much better options that banks can use instead of Ripple like stablecoins,CBDCs, or some other digital currency which they have direct control over.

Bitcoin can't become a widely used global payment network without making significant sacrifices to it's decentralization to achieve the scaling required for mainstream adoption. It will be a long and slow process if it ever happens but it is much more important to remain decentralized and secure.
755  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Has anyone ever used keepser ? on: August 30, 2023, 05:44:33 AM
I have not heard of this but it appears to be similar to Tapsigner which is made by the same company as Coldcard. For users who want a hardware wallet that is easy to use with mobile devices these wallets might be a good option. I don't find it necessary to carry a hardware wallet with me at all times so I would still prefer a traditional hardware wallet like Coldcard or Trezor.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 28, 2023, 02:46:44 AM
Aside from the legal concerns from centralized exchanges, another reason why it isn't more popular is because it's decentralized and was built in a time before ICO's and ERC-20 tokens were getting all the hype. It was created for a purpose that isn't all that useful for pump and dump scams. All the marketing and VC money is with blockchains like ethereum and BSC because they are more attractive to people looking to make a quick buck.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 27, 2023, 11:23:35 PM
^ I don't think that they are afraid of Shakur, it's just boxing politics, Shakur is with Top Rank and Haney is with PBC. So it's hard to make that fights assuming this so boxing promotions doesn't want to work which each other.
On the other hand, I read that Shakur will have a incoming fight already, name Frank Martin.

On the losses of the Filipino against the the Puerto Rican, from what I read, it's more of that Diagan was broken down mentally by Collazo and that's why he quit and doesn't want to fight anymore.

Haney is not with PBC, he is a free agent. He even tried to negotiate a fight with Shakur but made a ridiculous lowball offer that shows he is not serious in wanting to fight him. Tank is the one with PBC but his most recent fight was against a Golden Boy/DAZN fighter, Ryan Garcia. If Tank really wants to fight Shakur, that fight would get made. Too bad Tank only seems interested in in-house mismatches or Instagram influencers with strict rehydration clauses.
758  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Trustwallet's fake airdrop paid ads on Twitter. on: August 27, 2023, 02:29:23 AM
These ads are quite rampant and I have come across them as well. Here is a scammer with 12k followers pretending to be Trustwallet Support. While these types of scams were common prior to Musk's takeover, now they can purchase a blue checkmark for a few dollars and significantly boost the amount of people they are able to reach.

759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 27, 2023, 02:11:49 AM
Jerwin's only accomplishment at bantamweight is beating a journeyman on a 5 fight losing streak, yet somehow ends up getting an opportunity to fight for a title. We see once again that it's all about being well connected if you want to be a champion. Ancajas is a limited fighter but this is not the strongest division and Inoue is a beatable fighter. At this point another setback would be devastating but if he can win it would be interesting to see him against Alexandro Santiago who defeated Donaire a month ago.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: August 26, 2023, 11:41:21 PM
I don't think it was corrupt but it didn't look like a low blow to me. Looks like boxing might need VAR now. They should probably just rematch it. There will be enough time to fit it in before the end of the year as Fury is fighting Ngannou so makes sense to do that whilst they wait for Fury to be free which wont be until next year most likely.

There is really no excuses that can be made for this behavior from the referee. It wasn't just this knockdown that he got wrong. The entire fight he was very clearly on Usyk's side. For what reason do you need to break the action after almost every hard body shot Usyk takes and give him time to recover? The referee's actions were deliberate, it wasn't just a bad night or human error. A rematch can't really undo the damage done. Dubois took some unnecessary punishment and his already diminished confidence will decrease further.
