hi, i have a problem with my mue wallet. i have downloaded it from github but it does not start to sync. in fact it does not connect to the MUE network. i couldn't find anything helpful so far. i tried to fix it by deleting the peer.dat but it did not work. Does anyone know how to fix that prob.?
It can take a while on initial install to connect & sync. Try a restart and leave to connect. I assume you are using https://github.com/muecoin/MUECore/releases/tag/v1.0.3.2it is still not working. is there any webwallet available? Can you provide any more info about your system? Windows 7? Windows 10? The wallet has built in sync nodes so it should sync up by itself as long as there is a working internet connection. Do you have a firewall blocking the MUE client? Normally it takes a matter of minutes to sync up the wallet.

Explaining Bitcoins Problems To My 6 Year Old Niece An allegory for Bitcoin and Dash as told to a small child
For Bitcoiners waiting at the bus stop for the Bitcoin bus to arrive, you’re going to be disappointed. I hope you brought a coat and umbrella with you as I’ve got bad news: you’re going to be walking home again today, frustrated it isn’t going to arrive in time. You sat there and watched buses pass all day while you waited, but they’re already full up to maximum capacity, and already have destinations to reach.A thumbs up for the humoristic and easy to grasp bus article! On to the Dash express we go

tell me please how much you need coins for supernodes and what approximate profit
A masternode requires 500 000 MUE as collateral, and has about a 20% yearly payback in MUE. The current yearly packback in USD, is about $9500. We do however anticipate the USD returns to increase.

... Yeah I agree with this, most of the new coins are being listed on a variety of markets like binance. in my opinion monetary unit must also try to get listed on one of these upcoming exchanges which have a lot of new people trading coins there
Thanks for the idea raoulsergia, we can take a look and see what they say.

If you're looking to sell them, i'm a buyer - can't seem to get unlocked on Bittrex , i'm open on all other platforms ...
Forgot to say that it can take 24-48h to get that cleared, but it usually gets sorted out with their support.

Contacted Cryptopia with the Swap for MUE ( http://forum.mymue.com/topic/49/stage-2-swap-old-mue-for-new-mue) Their response: MUE was delisted in June by Cryptopia For the Coin swap the wallet is off line and will no longer be compatible with the MUE network,
You will need to contact MUE support team to get your coins swapped, they may do it from a Email with your Balance we can send to your registered Email address, How can I pursue to swap my 900 MUE? If you're looking to sell them, i'm a buyer - can't seem to get unlocked on Bittrex , i'm open on all other platforms Regarding MUE - I think this is a great project and the only thing really holding it back is exposure. If this can get on a couple more of the main exchanges, this would dramatically improve the eyes looking at it. Also: Note for dev's - the website link on coinmarket cap isn't working, is it down or another problem ? Keep Up The Great Work Guys ! A general piece of information mates, all QUARK-based MUE coins mined after the cutoff date of June 25 2017 will not be swapped to new MUE-X11 coins. We will have to do some block chain analysis to verify the coins, and manually verify the swapped coins where there are needs to do so. If you are successful in getting your coins out of Cryptopia, the coins could be "tainted" with newer mined coins, so you will not be able to do the swap 1:1. This is just a heads up, if the coins are on an exchange, and they have been taking deposits after the cut-off date.. well a user could very well end up with newer coins that cannot be swapped. It is impossible to know before hand for the user, however, the auto-swapping system does the work of verifying the coins. The exchanges who did not want to participate in the first and now second swap, and kept on taking deposits for old non-valid tokens, will have to deal with their angry customers.

Dev, please look into possible memory leak on windows client and address on next release. After letting it run for several hours memory usage goes up between 1GB to 2GB. This is happening on Windows 7 and Windows 2016.
Try to set maxconnections=10 in conf file. This did not help, today one of my BTDX MN running on windows VPS was using 3GB of memory. Getting the same thing on windows 7 machine here - another coin MN doing the same thing - have to remember to restart it daily or it crashes and you have to wait for the grace period again.. not good Maybe consider running a Linux VPS node as your hot wallet, then you can close the windows cold node and leave it closed. From my experience, Linux has a far better memory management then Windows anyway.

Hello masternode experts, I have setup a BTDX masternode through VPS setup. On the client side, when I clicked on 'All Masternodes' my masternode is showing up but when I clicked on 'My masternodes' - nothing is showing there. Here is the screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/I520Q do you know what is that I am doing wrong here please? Thanks for your help in advance! Have you setup your local masternode.conf, because it looks like you might have a bitcloud.conf and masternode.conf running the masternode off your hot node on the VPS? Seems kind of strange that your local wallet wouldn't know about your masternode unless your local masternode.conf file is empty?

|
Now when I put the masternode outputs, I am getting the following: -------------------------------------
01:09:32 Welcome to the BTDX RPC console. Use up and down arrows to navigate history, and Ctrl-L to clear screen. Type help for an overview of available commands.
07:24:34 masternode outputs
07:24:34 { } ---------------------------------------- There is nothing showing between the brackets. What does that mean and how to fix that please? Thx
It means that you have not specified you rmasternode collateral correctly. User darkomega69 is right when writing: ..... after you transferred the 10k, did you update your masternode.conf in the local wallet?
you'll need to update both the collateral_output_txid and collateral_output_index.
Check the instructions again. Once you changed your collateral amount and made a new transaction, the collateral specification needs to be updated on both your hot node and the local wallet. Your output from the hot node (VPS) shows that it was all synced and ready, waiting for instructions from your local (cold node) wallet. However, you most likely need to fix the collateral settings on both nodes, let them sync again, and once ready, issue the masternode start command from your cold wallet. Good Luck!

what should I do to have support in this community?
I cant give too much help about Bitcloud, but what have you done to check your masternode? 1) Verified that your client is all synced up? 2) Verified that your hot node is ok? 3) Is your node present in the masternode list? 4) What does bitcloud-cli mnsync status give you? 5) On the VPS, what does bitcloud-cli masternode status say? It's hard for others to help you mate unless you can give any info on your setup, what you have done to check things etc etc... Ok ..i repeat: i have a node on a vps windows machine. the node is active. But in not visible on other portofio, and not pay reward. is it difficult made a complete and clear example guide for the bitcloud masternode?a video? I follow the setup in the home page of this 3d , but from 2 days to now i have made more attempts... but i can not understand the reason that not work fine. I want support the project but i need more help from the community. Please be patient From the wallet, click Masternodes, go to All Masternode Tab, filter by your IP or wallet address. If you don't see it there then your masternode is not good. If you see it there, make sure timer under Active column is incrementing, check it every 15-30 minutes. If it is incrementing, you will earn rewards. I know that is not good, but no one explane me how to resolve the problem. The time incrementing regulary, but the node in not visible under the list from other client, only on the client of the vps. if no one respond me here or on slack , i'm forced to leave this coin, becuse there is no support to the investors. Do you have the same version of the wallet? I have the last windows version downloaded from the bitcloud site. What was the output from the commands posted above? They can help you pin down the problems with your masternode. 4) What does bitcloud-cli mnsync status give you? 5) On the VPS, what does bitcloud-cli masternode status say?

Hi All! I started my first BTDX masternode (i hope I did well). Its run. I want to started my second masternode. How can I? I buy second VPS (It's cheaper than I would buy an IP address.)? What's the genkey? Same?Big thanks! You would need to setup an second VPS, make a new transaction for the collateral, generate a new masternode key (genkey), adjust your second bitcloud.conf and masternode.conf.... and that's pretty much all there is to it. So you run a VPS per masternode and you can control them all from the same cold wallet.

Is it possible to solo mine mue?
Yes it is technically possible, but in practice, not for the average user, because you have to setup your own stratum/gbt proxy. Better to just join the official weminemue.com mining pool which has 0% fee anyway, and it "just works"

|
|
can you run a node on ubuntu 16.04?
Sure! running on 16.04 works fine, I wouldn't know about running the provided binaries on 16.04, but compile yourself and the client/daemon should work OK.

What´s going on with MonearyUnits? The price was very hard hit and lost the half of his value. Are the Devs still here and working on the coin? Is there anything new coming in the near future? Is it still worth to mine it? Maybe someone can tell me.
Hey Virtuoso, yeah MUE took a hit but is already on its way up a bit. The team is still working hard in the background and are working on the upcoming client release. We are looking at getting the self funding/budgeting all working, several projects to be announced later and MUE will be presenting and sponsoring the crypto-conference in Birmingham, UK http://bitbrum.org/So lots of activities in the background. We are more of a "work hard and deliver when ready" kind of group rather than pre-announce things "ICO-style". The price is still low, so either mine or buy, whatever rocks your boat!

Hey, fellow dashers,
Where are all the people? I do not see much people from the old times. Where did they go?
There was a friendly whale OTOH, where is he? I think he exited dash, he is not active here anymore.
Dont worry, olds DASHers are here. With every hype many users come here to troll, its exhausting I concur, they are probably many of the older holders following here. Personally I find it easier to read up on the news being published here by the devs and Dash Force team as I cannot follow all of whats happening over in the new Discord channel. Since I am a BTCtalk regular it helps to keep a tab open for our beloved Dash thread The trolls come and go, but they help in their own peculiar way.

Hello, I checked my account at mymue and I don't seem to receive any coins for my shares since August. Nothing appears in the block explorer or in the overview. Could you help please?
You could try checking the date for the payouts, the listing is a bit broken so the payments are most likely there. You could try searching for a payment in October and you will be able to see the payout. Otherwise jump on to the MUE slack and try to get a hold of user @pjcltd or pjcltd here on the BTCtalk forums.
