Yay, I just got my small Baikal miner Bought a power supply and got it running last night. Very easy to use, just plug in the fan, ethernet connector and power supply and your good to go. I'll be running it for a couple of days to test the speed, but so far I've found it to be mining around 100MH/s rater than 150. If I keep getting lower than expected hashrates Iäll have to look into other pools or maybe running solo, or joining a p2p pool. Anyone else have any mining experiences with the new X11 asics that have started to show up? Any tips on p2p mining for Dash? I looked through the dash forum but I did not really find what I was looking for, so I'll just have to keep on looking.

I was looking for the WBB distro, wbbos, to try in a virtual machine. I did not find any download links. Is it still a work in progress or are there any isos/docker images available for testing?

Since BTCTurbo doesn't seem to reply to my message, I'm just posting my questions here: 1. Is the 50 EGGS rate for Full Member is a rate per post or is it per day or per week? 2. Is the EGGS that you guys are promoting the same as the coin that is named "EGG" on Yobit? https://yobit.net/en/trade/EGG/BTC because he is busy working. 1. 50 eggs per Full Member who completes the bounty correctly. 2. No, those were created in 2015. This project was announced just some weeks ago. I read the OP, Is it fine that when we are done with 20 post and after making a post here that im done with 20 post does we can change our signature? and shift to other signature? the minimum is 20 posts AND when wings does the check, not when you have posted 20 times. anyone can spam 20 posts in about 25 minutes, even noobs. therefor you would not qualify for the bounty if we found that you switched signatures in the meantime. One must use the signature throughout the whole campaign, even if you have made more posts than the required. Once the campaign is over, I think it was when the ICO started, too lazy to check right now, the user needs to verify the amount of posts with the Wings team, and then it is OK to change signatures. All the details where available in the posts describing how to sign up.

1000 pages here we come! We don't give a shit ~ Use the ignore button and magic happens to the Waves thread ~ Consider it good for your sanity

I used to keep up with the official thread, helping users with their clients etc. But it's turned into a spam fest now, making it hard to read and hard to follow any news. Slack is better but I can't spend time follwing the chat at work. Thanks CFA for this topic. Now I guess it's up to us to keep this thread going, or it will just become an echo chamber.

So, looks like Bittrex will be launching in 8h. Anyone know whether Poloniex will be ready by that time?

Waves community members have expressed the concern that the original Waves thread should be moderated.
Here's a moderated Waves thread.
Rules: civilized discussion: no attacking, no trolling, no lambos, no bs, anything else is fine
~CfA~
Something tells me that this thread will be a very quiet thread with those (perfectly normal) rules applied Looking forward to the launch even if I do not plan on selling. Buying on the other hand, might be an option.

My advise is that users go with the Chrome plugin, having developer mode activated gets the wallet auto-updated. Easy and user friendly without having to download the updated client in a packed zip-file.

Does it mean if bitcoin rising then ico price for Waves is falling?
Well, the price for the ICO tokens was stated in BTC, so technically the value is the same. Compared to USD though, the value would have gone up as the value for BTC is up now. It's a question of perspective.

LOOK VERY SAD TO TOLD EVERYONE HERE. I JUST LOST 5391.23173119 WAVE BE CAREFUL! What happened mate? Sorry for your loss. i don't know , when i come back home , i find all waves has been seed to 1W3PGV8AZw2wQdeJ48J3eR6seWQp4mnMFf2y3. i can do nothing How did that address end up in your Waves ICO account? Checked your computer for any kind of keyloggers, viruses, malware etc? Do you have a wallet at home too, or have you just been using the ICO wallet? Have you logged in to your account on a an untrusted computer or accessed the ICO site at some coffee shop or open wifi? Without knowing, it looks like your Waves are gone. Question is how it could have happened and what mistakes have been made? If the address above isn't in your control, well then the tokens are gone.

I need help from a slightly more informed person than me.I may have downloaded a phising site,it has created an address at my ico platform but coins still there. Now if I delete the phising lite client how do I generate a address at the ico plaform
You should use the Chrome wallet plugin rather than running some arbitrary code on your machine! https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wavesliteapp/kfmcaklajknfekomaflnhkjjkcjabogmif you are unsure of the state of your box, you probably want to use a clean machine before creating your Waves address. You could try to run a Linux Livecd / USB to be in a safe environment and run the plugin there. Once you have a new fresh Waves address, write down and save the seed in a safe place so you can restore the address later if needed. Also, if the devs send out the Waves to a bad address there are no ways for you to get them back. You should consider removing the bad address from the ICO site and just leave that blank for now untill you have a new Waves address.

This thread is all becoming about the bounties, and then the exchanges. People are in a hurry to dump their coins. same old story but with a different coin. Is there anything new?
Well maybe. Sasha just wrote on Slack that users have pretty crappy seeds that they have assigned themselves. A half decent script-kiddie could just run a dictionary attack and scoop up a bunch of free waves, as the users apparently don't understand what they are doing. Imagine what this thread will look like when many users find out that all their invested ICO Wave tokens are gone with the wind because of having something like "mary had a little lamb" or their ico deposit address as their seed. How can sasha or anyone else know what seed do I have? Our seeds are visible for dev team? Is this a joke or something? Was the seed not auto generated? I think you had the option to assign your own seed if you wanted to. But it's not the point. It doesn't matter if seed is auto or non-auto. I'm asking why dev team can possibly view my seed? This is ridiculous for me. I am uncertain as to how Sasha et. al could know some seeds, but odds are that people have reported this themselves in the chats, or they have disclosed the seeds to the devs while troubleshooting wallet problems etc. The seeds should be safe as they are generated locally and aren't sent anywhere. The devs took the time to write a statement on slack that people should not use bad seeds, as this might get peoples Waves stolen.

I just ordered one of these little asics and paid for it with Dash Looking forward to getting the unit in a week or maybe two? Shipping out from China so a bit hard the determine the final delivery time, as they would be sending it out between 1-3 business days from today. If all goes well maybe I'll try to write a few comments about the asic miner later on, though I think that the review above mentioned pretty much all there is to know. I'm sure the difficulty will go way up and the profits will decrease. i ordered a single unit for 92.9 Dash incl shipping. I guess I'll have to see whether I'll have to pay import taxes etc. at delivery. Each unit only uses 40W so I hope to be able to run it for a long time, even non profitable when it gets old, because it helps the network. So in a sense I hope to help Dash both network wise as well as with MNs.

I created a new WAVES account using the chrome lite client, added the Waves address to my ICO account, saved it, approved it (via email), but my stack is not shown in the lite wallet.
What did I miss out?
The devs are paying out all Waves on a manual basis, so please be patient and sit tight. They are working hard to get all Waves out through the door although many users are upset that the payouts are taking a long time.

Will there be a standalone Windows Wallet or just the Chrome Wallet ? Will there be a Firefox Wallet? Can we just wait and send our WAVES to an exchange right from the ico.wavesplatform.com page once the coin is on an exchange ?[/li][/list]
You may keep your coins in the ICO wallet, that is completely fine. Right now the Chrome Extension works the best but there are other alternatives if you run the local html-files on your secure home laptop/PC.

Hi Guys! Can anybody tell me how it will be possible to withdraw the Waves token? Will there be a wallet as it was the case regarding DAO?
Greetings
There has been a lite client available for a few days now, have you tried it?
