Just what about the other alts is it that you find interesting and that we should look into? Yes most altcoins are going down at the moment, but we see too that an absolute majority of the larger investors in MUE are still holding.
I admit that I am far too busy and have very limited time to even pay attention to other coins. We have our goals laid out and are working hard to implement them. It would have to be some really good feature set for us to take the time and go through the code to implement something in a secure manner. Care to elaborate more on what it is that needs addressing?
those coins like bitconnect, regalcoin, first coin are having a lending system, stake, mining, and trading intergrated on their own platforms. thats when usd<->btc<->altcoins are so teamed up. im not sure how they do it. but they promise a return fr 0-2% per day(mostly 1% though) and the bigger investment the shorter the capital will be released. in another hand, the affilate gave them such much viral marketing for 7-12%/100$ invested. pls atleast look at bitconnect. im sure it will be worth ur time. thank you devs! i wish MUE citizens all the best of luck! Thanks again, a quick google search showed links after links of Bitconnect being a Ponzi scam, so I haven’t bothered to look more into the matter. The MonetaryUnit team does have a number of projects on the horizon that we will proceed with rather than engaging users in such controversies. |

Hi! No, the shown amount of available shares is not affected by a users balance. But as you have seen, the shares go really fast once there are any available. Typically what users may do, is keep a balance on the mymue platform, and purchase a share whenever they are available again. Good luck! |

Been following MUE for some years, I am guilty of dismissing them in 2014 but it is very difficult to know who to trust. But my interest in this project was restarted by 'notsofast' a while ago. I got more interested mainly out of respect of their refusal to quit through all the bear market in alts rather than faith in them. This is a coin to hold as long as you see continued commitment and passion by the developers. I have learned the hard way that when it comes to creating value it is people that matter more than tech most of the time. When the bear markets in crypto return I am more mentally prepared now and will only support coins like this. I just hope the next bear market does not last years like the last one.
Thanks ikecuit for the appreciation! We aren’t going anywhere regardless of price. We will continue to work for MUE out of passion of the project, great team and community. There is lots more to come and we hope our combined efforts will show results in the price as well, even if that is more of a positive side affect for us involved. |

too much spam message from your slack channel about MyEtherWallet Please, stop them!
Actually all slack channels i followed sent me a ton on spams everyday. All of them included a phising link to myetherwallet and told me to unlock my wallet. Please don't click those link if you don't want to loose your fund on the wallet. I hate this but i don't know how to stop email from slack. Can somebody help me how to unsubcribed slack email? You could try to just turn off all notifications, that's my way of resolving the problem for now.  If the situation improves you can always turn the notifications back on again. As it is right now, the slack devs haven't showed any larger enthusiasm to fix the problem. We can hope that the morrons spamming ethereum scam links, in a MUE slack group, might see that they aren't getting any results. |

Our Slack is cleaner than most any Slack channels out there. We have taken, and continue to take steps to mitigate against spammers. Yes, we have our share of spammers, but they are getting less annoying now as we are weeding them out. Other slack channels are completely out of control, so bad that I have chosen to turn off notifications all together. A fix seems to be far off, but at least the dev team is trying to mitigate and reduce the spamming. |

I used to do that.. using a stepping machine while watching a movie, but I wore the darn stepping machine down, it overheated and the whole apartment smelled of hot piston oil.. so I got another one, and had two. I see that the profit % for a MN and a share of one is always fluctuating. My question was how is this determined exactly? Is it based off the hash rate or is it something else that
decides to reward the miners? New to this stuff, any answers on this matter would be great. Thanks
The masternodes and MN shares are not really tied to the mining hashrate per say, but rather the current price of MUE in BTC or $USD (fiat). The rewards are paid out based on the active amount of masternodes, so as more masternodes come online, the daily profits to run a node declines, as more nodes are sharing he same pool of rewards. So in that sense its just like mining, the more miners that are mining a coin, the less rewards for everyone. Although, with higher difficulties comes a gradually higher valuation in terms of BTC/fiat, so in the end, even if the miner receives less coins per hashrate, their returns will be worth more in terms of BTC, so in the end, their profits remain somewhat the same. |

Is it possible to mine more than one coin on the D3 X11 miner? I want to mine DASH and MUE both at the same time. Thoughts?
Our lead dev wrote a while back that dash and mue codes bases dont include aux mining .. i.e. other x11 coins can be merge mined with us not the other way around... So, it's currently not possible to merge mine MUE / DASH |

I'm trying to synchronize with my wallet this time, so it can't recognize the file in my wallet.
The size of the new wallet.dat file is 600KB
The existing wallet.dat file is close to 100KB.

I've been experimenting with & learning about MUE and recently bought a couple of shares via MyMue.
I can't fathom that the calculations as stated on the View Pool section of MyMue are correct. If so, it would make ROI on a per share basis at >100%.
What am I misunderstanding?
The bottom part of the stats show how much each share receives per day (5.7 MUE) /month (160 MUE) / year (1924 MUE), based on the current and active amount of masternodes. The upper stats show how the masternode pool is doing in terms of all the pools masternodes active on the network. For a couple of shares the daily payout would be ex 2 x 5.7 or 11.4 MUE / day based on the current amount of nodes on the network.  |

If you are referring to the swap, then yes, we hope to proceed with the swap in the coming 1-2 weeks or so. As we have said from the beginning, the swap is only for coins generated prior to the cutoff date, so users who have bought coins on various exchanges after the cutoff date will see that they can't swap the newer tokens. Once ready we will announce when the swapping will start. |

You can try any of these pools: pool.weminemue.com, give-me-coins.com , p2pool.e-pool.net , ezpool.net, pool.minertopia.org They all have 0-2% fees i think. You'll need a X11 asic to mine MUE though, and the specifics are a little different between the pools, but check them out and good luck mining! |

Update: it seems to be working now. I deleted everything but wallet.dat from my ~/Library/Application Support/MonetaryUnitCore directory, and then downloaded a bootstrap.dat from https://muex.io/Bootstrap. It is now catching up with transactions. Glad you got it working friend, but a bootstrap shouldn't be necessary now. The blockchain is merely a couple months old, so it can't be that big. I think that by cleaning out the older blockchain data your client probably was able to sync up again. The bootstrap seems to be dated 2017-02-17, that would appear to be the old MUE-QUARK chain data, and that blockchain is not compatible with the current X11 based blockchain. |

Hey. I have some issues with my Windows wallet. I added the conf file but wallet still not synching...let the wallet open over night...no change...cant find block source. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Unless you are running a MasterNode there's no need to add a conf. file. What version of the wallet are you running? Good question. Tell me which one I need then I will get this one. I'm not at home atm and can't take a look. So no conf needed? Then I will install and try again. Too bad indeed. As a European I would have liked the option to use a debit card for purchases outside the EU. However good crypto currencies are, they are limited in where they can be used. Maybe we all can find more partners to use for debit card options. |
