Didn't you guys noticed that the ref link you are posting are your passwords?
I just participated and just when i tried looking for my ref link to post on my facebook page, just when i saw it, i end up not posting it.

Must have been an error, the referal link points to your selected username not your password, unless you have the same password as username which is a bad move.

Where is the ico page?

https://fly.wings.ai

Good Luck and happy donating!
ICO page is very slow. It's not even loading on Puffin browser.

When I try Firefox, the button ' participate' isn't working for me. I'll participate in it later this day.

They have got about 670 btc till now ! That's great!

Does anyone know why Wings uses word ' donate ' but other icos don't?

Just try again later. I was lucky and got in just as the gates opened, bought a small amount with my phone wallet on a poor cellular connection on a commuting train. Let the storm calm down and try again throughout the day!

The reason they are taking donations is for legal reasons. They can't promise dividends or investment paybacks, but if you are donating to their project you also have less legal means to go after them. In the end it's pretty much a careful choice of words as to stay on the right side of the laws regarding investments, dividends, and what amount of tokens you can claim at the end of the ICO.

Looks like a really neat tool you have made there Swtrse, I'm sure many users are going to try and find it useful for their lending!

Can the bot be used with other exchanges? I recall reading that it will / can be used with MUE, although that isn't available on Poloniex at this point.  Cool

466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is to set up masternodes? on: November 17, 2016, 09:42:27 AM

Just wanted to clarify a bit. When running a masternode on a VPS, there is a full node wallet running 24/7 on the server providing work to the Dash network. For this you are paid rewards around once a week. You don't have to have a local wallet at home open all the time, in fact many (all?) masternode owners run their nodes off funds that are effectively in cold storage or soon on a hardware wallet like a Trezor. Running a masternode is not the same as Proof of Stake although both can pay out rewards so that is the only similarity.

The masternode keeps a transaction reference to a transaction of 1000 Dash collateral, so the masternode does not contain any funds, instead they are secured in the owner's wallet and not exposed on a cloud server somewhere.

Granted, lending out your funds to a shared masternode service of lending them on an exchange exposes you to a risk, but for this risk some payouts can be made as a compensation.

Thanks for the information, mate. I've always thought that you needed to have the wallet open at all times in order to receive masternode rewards, but now that you have clarified me about it, I think that I will use my DASH paper wallet for this task. It is much safer than using a third party VPS where funds can be lost anytime due to many factors, including but not limited to: hardware failures, company closing, theft of private keys, etc.

I hope that Dash price could go even lower, so that it would become much cheaper to start with masternodes (either shared service, or by myself). If there is any other useful information or resource about Dash & masternodes, please let me know. I'm always eager to learn new stuff everyday  Cheesy

This is a good starting point to broaden the understanding of Dash and the masternode system: http://dashmasternode.org/

Hi all, the website is now fully accessible
www.MonetaryUnit.org

Looks great, like the new color theme for MUE. It will make a good landing place for all as more news will be rolling out for the upcoming X11 transition!

@wings.ai, now with the ICO just around the corner, are there any final decisions regarding how the signature campaigns will be rewarded? Those of us who have been participating since the beginning, I recall reading about a bonus for the prolongation. How long will the campaign be in action? Up to the ICO? For the time throughout the ICO? A certain amount of time after the ICO?

Any comments or clarifications regarding this matter would be highly appreciated!

Hey guys, your website address gives me a malware warning in Ubuntu Chrome. Not visiting until you solve this  Wink

Hello Coinspeed, there is no reason to worry. The site got infected with some kind of crap and the team nuked and wiped the whole site. Since then they have not had the time to reinstall or get rid of the Google warning. Of course it would be better to get rid of that, it is not something that new users would want to see while seeking out information about the MUE project.

So in terms of infections, from what I heard, the site itself is empty and without content, but as soon as the team gets a chance they will be putting the site back in shape again. This time, probably on a new platform, rather than using a wordpress template.

You are welcome to join the slack channel if you would like to meet the team or ask questions directly; https://mueslack.herokuapp.com/
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: November 15, 2016, 10:44:05 AM
Hi all,
I tried running the opengl miner and mining Pascal Coin yesterday. Running on an average of 500MH/s, what kind of rewards can be expected? One block a day? One block every week? I haven't been looking at Pascal Coin since the gpu miners came out so I have no idea what to expect at this point. What kind of rewards are you other guys getting?

Currently network hashrate is a value between 10-30 Gh/s (this is minimum and maximum of last 5 days)
Average time is 5 minutes.

If you have a hashrate of 500 Mh/s you can expect a value between 1.5 or 4% of network hashrate.
If everyday there are 288 new blocks by average, you can expect 4-11 blocks per day

Thank you for a quick and detailed answer PascalCoin. I have yet to find any blocks after 14h of mining so I'll keep it running for the rest of the day and see what happens.  Cool

......

Yeah that limits your opportunity to make profit with this thing, but still a great way to serve as passive income. If I would consider investing full on the masternodes feature, I would just set up my own VPS leaving the wallet open 24/7 in order to receive the rewards.  Smiley

473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is to set up masternodes? on: November 11, 2016, 12:29:48 PM

Of course you can buy into a shared masternode hosting service, where your coins are part of a masternode, paying out shares every time the masternode is rewarded. This way you can participate in the Masternode infrastructure but you do not get voting rights. Using such a service does not require any wallets to remain open and whatnot. If you at some point you achieve 1000 Dash, you may withdraw your shared coins and setup your own masternode if you like.

The average payback for a masternode is in the sub 10% range right now, but will decline as more masternodes come online and strengthen the network. This said, with new features being laid on the masternode network, additional fees or revenues might help bring this up in the coming years. Do notice that the hardware requirements (ram, cpu, hdd, ethernet) for running a masternode are likely to be higher as well, as the functions of the masternodes will be greater.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds pretty interesting to run a masternode remotely, without the need to leave your wallet open at all times. Do you happen to know of any good shared masternode services that you would like to recommend me? I might give this one a shot since, I don't have a high end hardware to help serve the purpose to run masternodes by my own. However, 1000 Dash at current USD price seems like a lot of money to put into, just to get started with this. I think that you would need pretty good capital in order to earn good with this thing.

Still, I would consider doing this someday as it looks that you can reach ROI within a year.  Smiley

I use a service https://masternode.me/ that user Moocowmoo https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=494744 runs. Each shares cost 25 Dash and with these shares you get parts of the masternode payouts that your shares belong to. E.g. if you have 1 share of the total 40 shares, you get 1/40th of the payouts - fees, every time the masternode is paid for it's services.

But you are mistaken, you aren't going to reach ROI in one years time, it's about 10% annually.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is to set up masternodes? on: November 10, 2016, 10:57:10 AM

Hey,

For me yes it is very profitable. It was 10% last year but it went down a little (to ~9.x% a year) because of increasing number of MN, but the number of MN increase really slowly now:
http://178.254.23.111/~pub/masternode_count.png

I like this site to see the statistic for one MN (you can change the value= to whatever you want.)
https://dash-news.de/dashtv/#value=1000

Don't forget that having a/some MN will give you some power to vote on Dash budget system  Cool:
https://www.dashcentral.org/budget

Cheers  Smiley

Thanks mate for sharing your experience. I think that masternodes system is the best one implemented for a crypto currency in order to increase interest into supporting its network by earning rewards in return.

The dash-news statistics site has been very helpful to me in order to determine an estimated amount of earnings I would receive with a given amount of Dash on a masternode. Since Dash prices have gone lower these days, I think that it will be the best entry point towards masternodes and a good way to reach ROI in a year.

There are so many exciting things about Dash, that I didn't even knew about them before.  Grin

its good one..i think its super pos! Wink

Yeah. I think that it is even way better than PoS as you get bigger rewards, in my own opinion, than with ordinary PoS coins. Also, given the fact that Dash's price is not that volatile (unlike most PoS coins) it makes it a great investment. One good thing would be to earn masternode rewards without having to leave your computer and wallet open at all times (sort of like offline staking). If this could be accomplished, then it would be great.  Cheesy

476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best for PascalCoin's future regarding its name? on: November 09, 2016, 12:57:23 PM
I was only a small time miner on PascalCoin early on, but I think the name is good. Sure you could change it, just like Xcoin became Darkcoin and then Dash, but I don't see any strong arguments that some other name would be a larger benefit to Pascalcoin.

I'd say just keep the name unless there are legal reasons not to.
Just going with Pascal sounds good to me as well. Either Pascal or PascalCoin are good names for this asset!

@ocminer, what is the difference in miner configuration between
Code:
-zwal YourUsername.YourWorker -zpsw YourWorkerPass
and
Code:
-u Weblogin.Worker -p password

i'm trying to login to the zec pool with with Claymores miner on Win7, but am only getting auth errors and disconnects.

claymore in version 1.1 should work fine, use zec.suprnova.cc:2142

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal YourUsername.YourWorker -zpsw YourWorkerPass -allpools 1

like:

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal suprnova.5 -zpsw x -allpools 1

or if you want static diff:

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal suprnova.5 -zpsw d=256 -allpools 1

I think you can even leave that "allpools 1" away with version 1.1

Very odd, when running with the login credentials as arguments to the miner it works fine (like a .bat file). When reading the credentials from the config.txt file it fails... Well at least I am mining now again. Thanks for your help!

So, coinsforall pool hashrate dropped a lot, it founds less blocks/day than other pools, but in others (example nanopool) my sol/s is -20%, is coinsforall still profitable than others?

There's a lot of work going on with the pool. I'm seeing a ton of port errors, so that could explain the decrease in overall hashrate. Many still see this pool as profitable, so I guess the answer is in the numbers.

It's for one of our multiple side projects called MUEX Wink

Nice, I see things are getting wrapped up as we are getting closer to the X11 launch. Great work team!
