Australia might need such adds soon too:
http://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/australian-economy/government-floats-100-note-removal/news-story/042220701a8310c39a1a87da4e20de35

These events all prove the need of getting currencies in the hands of people. Dash could indeed play a very important part here as the instant transaction features could prove real world use between individuals and merchants alike.

They are really nice, I'll have to check back for a new year gift Wink
Thanks for posting the link tungfa!

A short informative video and an equally nice t-shirt! 😉

....cut........

While I'm here, i thought the fabled GUI wallet was to be released in November?

I remember hearing some news on "the Crypto show" in regards to Bipcoin getting a GUI.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bipcoin-cryptonote-based-coin-debuts-gui-wallet-before-monero

It must be hard though to get a user friendly interface done when so much time is spent in the Dash thread. But I can't blame our friends, I too would much rather stay here and chat among the happy people of Digital Cash Cheesy
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] Quark based, CPU mining, faucet, explorer, pool, wallet on: December 13, 2016, 03:46:45 PM
Just a reminder, our pool fee is now 0% on www.WeMineMue.com

This is not meant as a short term promotion, but as a long term commitment as a benefit to the community Smiley

A great team effort in getting the pool up and running, miners are sure to appreciate the reduced fees! Is the plan to keep the 0% fee throughout the X11 transition as well?

Perry from Node40 talking Dash on the CryptoShow (recording from yesterday )

Great listening to Perry and his Node40 service. Making masternode owners happy and running a business on Dash  Cool

I want to know something from the bagholder mates: how long did you keep your DASH? I still have mine from two years ago

I think I mined about 700 Dash (Darkcoin) back in 2014, but lost them due to multiple hardware failures. Then I doubled down and bought and saved up to a first and then a second MN. I'm definitely in it for the long game, and hope that my MNs will get my children through university later on in life. That would be a great investment if that would come into realization Wink

Sir, get your hard drives to a service and have them FIND your coins!  Every coin, is sacred.  Every coin is great.  Whenever a coin is wasted, G@d gets quite irate.....

Seriously, at least keep those hard drives and when you're rich from Dash, pay to have them pulled out if possible!  Smiley

Thanks for the general tip Tante, I've since then learnt by my mistake and now have multiple copies of cold wallets, even in separate continents. Nevertheless, it can't be repeated enough that being one's own bank means staking care of one's own funds in a proper manner.  Smiley
As for the failed hardware, well those previous Darkcoins are lost in the digital realm of cyberspace along with AOL keywords and Clinton's emails  Wink

Since Pascal coin is a complete rewrite and it's own unique implementation of a block chain and proof of work I'd wager to say that despite the Pascal language being old - that's what I played with in school back in the day, the wallet and account system gives Pascal coin it's value. Not being yet another BTC QT clone is just icing on the cake  Cool

The referral spamming might be the purpose altogether...

$MUE pool moving.
If you have issues with www.WeMineMue.com please point to the IP http://5.196.208.248/ till DNS propagates, ta Smiley

0% pool fee now applies

That's great BizzyB! Thanks for what you and the team are doing for the MUE community. I just saw that my miner has dropped off the list, I expect it to join again once the dns records have propagated through the networks.

Happy hashing everyone!
No problem, thanks for the support.

As for your miner it should either be on www.weminemue.com OR 5.196.208.248
Can you check please as it shouldn't be gone all together.

Once I got home I pointed it to the pool ip number but set the pool priority for the dns. I'm back mining on the pool again so all is well for the time being!

anyone using this service?
https://masternode.me/

is it trustable? i'm thinking about send 2 shares to test it.
i've started to buy some dash since the price droped from 0.02(because i believe it will go back) and maybe i should put my dash's to work Cheesy
It is 100% trustable. The admin is the core team member since very early begginings and is giving a lot of input in the project.

That's very nice of you to say, splawik21!  Thank you!

raphma, I do my best to keep everything transparent:

for more info, see: https://masternode.me/#shares

Email me at moocowmoo@masternode.me if you have any questions!

raphma, I use moocowmoo's shared masternode service and it works great! I can highly recommend the service. Payouts are working fine and I get an email after every payment.
I have not withdrawn my shares so i cannot comment on how that works, but otherwise I think the service is great, 5/5

Does dev still give bounties for translations? I can do russian and greek. For the low price of 10000 PASC

Hi. Note that this project has no ICO nor premine... is community maintained, so bountys are something that only miners can give, not exclusively the dev.
I can give to you a bounty (small)...   Are current miners interested in it?

I'm just a small fish miner, but the lack of responses in this matter looks like the people mining Pascal see little value in supporting the translation. Especially if it's a 10K bounty for no major exposure or promotion.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: December 07, 2016, 08:11:26 PM
PASC is now on CoinMarketCap!

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pascal-coin/

Come on people, do you really think such an innovative coin as PascalCoin deserves a $15k market cap?

20btc marketcap is ridiculous! I really dont feel good about those sellers now! 😎

See it as a good start. The Pascal coin community must be rather small, give it more time and more users involved. Then the market cap will grow. I mean there can't be more than some 100-ish users mining or participating with Pascal coin right now? 20 BTC is small but with exchanges, an active community support and development I'm positive that will start growing with multiple magnitudes.

I read in OP "Regardless of Whether the token sale stamp is Reached or not JANUS will launch...."
but in these pages, I read about the investment refund
Which one is true?
whether Janus will launch although ICO not reached then wheter bounties still be paid?

The ico is off and paid funding will be returned from escrow. As for bounties, I'm not a part of the team so I have no saying in the matter. I think that all a bounties are off as well, because why would the team want to pay out something now that the funding is canceled?

You can still donate/"invest" in their NXT token sale if you like. See the janustokens page for details.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JNS] Janus|Blockchain secured global business Token sale LIVE on: December 05, 2016, 12:44:57 PM
Thank you to everyone who has supported our team and the Janus project. We have come to a decision that it’s best for all parties to end the token sale as it stands in it’s current form. We have added an option in your accounts to save a BTC or NXT address on the site that will be used to send refunds back to you. The Nxt Foundation will then receive information about the amount you deposited, and the wallet address you supply to send your investment back. You’ll have up to 45 days to make the request, but we ask that you make it a priority so we can get this finished in short time. Visit www.janustoken.com and log into your account to add your refund addresses.

.....

Thank you for the efforts Bjorn and the rest of the Janus team. Too bad it didn't work out as planned but I will be looking forward to what you guys will accomplish down the road. I'll be withdrawing funds and hope to invest again once the Janus platform and social aspect of the project start to materialize. Good luck and happy coding!

Hi,

I am very confused on how to mine this coin so I must ask here maybe anyone of you can create a step by step tutorial on how to mine?

I already understand that this is a gpu coin yet my wallet says 'No JSON-RPC clients' but I don't know what this means and I don't know what to do. Somebody please provide me with the knowledge I am missing.

Thanks in advance.

Hi mozsi you can start reading here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.msg16652012#msg16652012
just start the proxy. and then start the miner and you're good to go solo mining!

If you have other questions, please ask that what you have problems with.
