The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

To be frank, I like the competition am seeing in the crypto space it will surly give most projects a sense of responsibility to do more or be kicked off by others. Also, altcoins like ETH and XRP have proven their worth and value by maintaining status quo for a long term now with no other coin beating them; I think it is owing to what their different teams is trying to Innovative with each passing day.
From my own understanding and experience, I will say the future of altcoins is getting brighter everyday but only for those that has what it takes to solve issues thus lasting long term.

Poloniex used to be a good exchange but don't know about now as I left the exchange a long time ago.
Nevertheless, delisting of coins can happen in any exchange which can be caused by some factors such as the team failing to improve their project thereby leading to the coin lossing value, in this case delisting will only end up killing the project more.
Another factor is, if the coin is already listed on a major exchange thus having a good volume than its other exchange it's listed on, then it can be delisted and will pose no threat to the project.
Furthermore, I don't think when an exchange delists a coin that it will affect them (that is, the exchange).

What really caught my attention was he is holding the two top altcoins. I might not be in his shoes to understand him but as a holder too I believe in those coins especially ETH. Like I always tell my friends who asks, I have come too far to give up especially when it comes to coins dropping in value. Since he is holding this two coins he shouldn't worry more as they (coins) have proven their value by maintaining their positions till now against all odds. Good a thing he wasn't holding coins with no use case or nothing to offer at all.

Where will it start from in replacing Bitcoin? Is it in terms of the market cap or in terms of investors or its community, where actually? The truth is, most people love Bitcoin and feels safe with it more than any other coin, could be as a result of no team or otherwise.
There is no doubt, Ethereum is a good coin and have proven its worth overtime but replacing Bitcoin won't be possible even in the near future.

That is not a problem in anyway. Do you know how many gambling blockchain platforms in existence? I have seen many.
So to me, I see gambling platforms as one of the platform in this crypto space, thus using cryptocurrencies in betting is another way of paving a path to crypto adoption. Instead of using fiat to pay, players use crypto, so there is no issue whatsoever.

I don't think that is ever possible with myetherwallet. Actually you aren't the only one who experienced such and the best step I took was creating another wallet altogether because seeing those coins brings hurtful memories. Also, I would suggest you use other wallets where you can have the power to control your wallet easily such as Trust wallet and co.

Many have said buy from top 20 in coinmarketcap and I think that is a good idea and suggestion too. This is true because owing to the nature of the market now on needs to make sure he is making the right investment so that when altseason sets in they will be in profit.
However, if you feel like there are other coins that you want to invest in, do well to make your research as it will help you a lot.

I took a break from this exchange owing to a bitter experience. Nevertheless, with them reducing fees shows that the competition among exchanges is getting tough and only the strong will win. Also, I don't think reducing fees is enough they will have to do better than that.

Funny enough am yet to see a good exchange like Binance owing to the way it keeps expanding its services while improving as well.
However, there are another exchange too which I think can be a good match for Binance and that is Okex. I think if Okex should start bringing unique services it will stand a better chance to Binance.

Investing comes with its risks and also comes with choices too. The choice I make while Investing can be different from yours and that doesn't make any of us wrong.
However, given the market situation, I tend to sell once am in profit while holding in BTC and ETH, also if I see positive signs from the project I can hold as well.

Actually you are right but also let's look at it from another angle. I have seen good projects although it was last year, that has good prospects but funny enough till now it's yet to get listed.
Also, investors are quick to term a project scam etc when that project isn't living up to expectations, in this case I mean no tangible results that will attract value to the platform thus causing the price to keep dumping.
