1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is up $4500 in 30 munites? on: January 30, 2021, 03:59:08 PM
The monthly candlestick is showing a rejection pattern more like a pin bar, an indication of price reversal next month however Bitcoin in most cases defies any form of technical analysis because fundamentals drives the price of Bitcoin  meanwhile I don't subscribed to the notion that Elon Musk's tweet was responsible for the sudden pump in  price of btc, if his tweet was responsible for sudden massive investment then why the rapid dump again? the price should have continue to pump and rally up with more investors joining the train
Well, the price didn't "dumped" that much because we were around 31k price range before that pump and we ended up with about 34k or so, sure we reached to 36k-37k levels and that is great but at the end of the day we have come back to having still a higher price. Elon Musk did had an impact on the price for sure but not the whole thing, I just think he lit the first fire and fuse was lit but the thing that explode was the real traders and investors and that is the biggest reason.

Sometimes we need a bit of money helping us time to time and when there are a group of new people who invest enough to buy thousands of bitcoins and change the deal very much, that would result with them helping us get over that small hump we are stuck at and end up with a higher price all our own if we want to after that as well. People need to realize we could use some of that help.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: January 30, 2021, 08:46:19 AM
I bought a bitcoin what 0.0003 BTC last year November with only money that left with me when I finished my program and named it investments, many of my friends started laughing that my money has gone and bitcoin will fall and is out of surprised bitcoin moved to 19k, 20k, 30k and 40k, so I'm excited for having double of my btc within some months, I want to know if I will sell it or withdraw it, because is a investment money not for spending.
You can withdraw it, there are also other things you an do with money, so you can withdraw the money and then use it for other things. I can’t tell where the price is heading now, it dropped to 30,000 USD and has gotten to 32,000 USD today, I can’t tell if it’s slowly slipping into bear market or whatever , so it will be better if you sell as you still have profit and invest in other things.

If you have a business that you’re into, you can invest in that business and grow it to another level while you wait for another right time to invest back in cryptocurrency.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COLD Wallet For XRP on: January 30, 2021, 08:14:35 AM
Hello everyone.
Im looking for a cold wallet for storing 30k$ XRP Worth, What is your suggestion? I must have access to my private key with cold wallet.
Im not interested to hot wallet and hardware wallet. please don't suggest them.
If you’re looking for a reliable cold wallet to store your XRP then make use of Ledger Nano X, for now that’s the best offline storage I can recommend for storing your XRP coins. There is also Trezor but I don’t think they are accepting XRP, so Nano X is a better option to go with.

And by the way, I hope you’re aware of everything that has been happening with XRP before buying it? Because there have been a case filed against them by SEC, and it has been going on for long now. The executives have decided that they are not going down the road of settlement, that they will rather fight it out in court with the SEC. I hope it ends well, for now most investors are avoiding the token and since it has been suspended and also delisted by some exchanges.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021? on: January 29, 2021, 07:10:54 PM
many people are kept waiting for the Drop because Polkadot is becoming very popular coin in the market after ETH, whereas other coins are completely struggling to increase their prices. Once the price of Bitcoin stabilizes, we might expect, many of the best blockchains out there will easily help to increase their prices.
I believe that needs to be done very carefully though. Sure there is a possibility of dot increasing without a decrease, but without the correction of bitcoin and only a stabilization that means dot needs to not only go up in fiat but also go up in bitcoin price at the same time, which means we are talking about outpacing bitcoin that rarely any coin does that. You could see coins drop less than bitcoin goes up.

If bitcoin goes up 100% and altcoin drops only 10% in btc price, that means price of the altcoin goes up as well, but if you are expecting bitcoin to stay the same, that means altcoin needs to go up in bitcoin price and that does happen but usually when bitcoin goes down in fiat not when it stabilizes. I am not saying it won't happen, plenty of times that kind of thing happened, it is just not the common way of how that happens, still could shock us though.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 29, 2021, 06:51:28 PM
Sometime, when I see this kind of questions. I always ask myself one thing why do we do what we do? What is the moral behind us starting it in the first place. You said and I quote "CAN I GET RICH BY TRADING". Let me answer your question first and give you my thought on this. Yes, you can make it big time on trading. But the secret to making it with Trading now depends on you. Have you done your assignment very well, to know those who have made it through Trading before? Do you have any of them that can mentor you on how you can make it and the rules and regulations. Tactics to use, when to trade, what to trade, when the signal is good, when to buy, when to sell. And what it takes to be a good trader. All of these questions you must be able to find answers to them before you set out to start trading. Else, you are ready for a doom.
That is the real question to ask. Sure everyone can get rich trading but the real problem is, how hard have you worked for it?

Nothing in life that makes you rich gets to you cheaply, sure there are stories about lottery or getting lucky or people finding that one thing and putting money in and becoming super rich etc etc but the reality is that if you do not do anything about becoming better, you are waiting to get lucky and getting lucky is one in a million thing that most probably won't hit you, hell I can say "you won't get lucky" with certainty and I will write except one in a million times which is good odds to be right about. That means you need to work hard, learn how to trade, study, and practice to become a good trader, that way you could probably get richer by trading only after you have done all of that which takes a long time.
1006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: January 29, 2021, 06:15:01 PM
Newbies are prone making mistakes due to lack of knowledge.

There are lots of new investors who quickly lose their money because of rushing things out, thinking that it's just an easy access to make
good profits, not doing their research and proper study leads them to invest with the wrong assets or place their position in the wrong time making them trapped and lose their money.
Newbies making mistake is not the key problem for them, making mistakes that would end your financial freedom is the key problem. If you are a newbie, you are going to make mistakes and that's okay, you do not have to get in with everything you have and if you invest small portion of your savings in crypto and learn and make mistakes those are fine because those mistakes would allow you to get better.

For this to work you have to do two things and you will come out better, first of all you should not be investing with all your money, only money that you are willing to lose, secondly you have to be willing to learn from your mistakes and check where you did wrong and act accordingly. If you do these and keep trading with small amounts for a good while, you will get better and better at it and you will be able to increase the amount you deposit and eventually make a good profit from it.
1007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 06:46:55 PM
Starting out with cash..? Does journaling truly help ?
Journaling? You mean doing your research? That will help you for sure. And I think you should be careful and avoid all these fake wallets and exchanges, if you would want to stay on the safer side then go for the exchanges that are well known, because they are not going to disappoint you like new exchanges. They too can have their downsides, but they are not like the new exchanges that can run out of money someday and run away with your money, so it’s best to avoid those ones and go for the bigger exchanges.

You can find success in trading if you are good in research; for that you need to be ready for continuous learning. You must need to update yourself against latest world political things as they are the biggest factors to move the markets ups and downs.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 28, 2021, 06:08:14 PM
I do not belong to USA but whenever a President is changed I never see any big changes or something done out of the blue so I don't expect anything big to happen apart from a few policy changes which outsiders will not even notice unless they are deeply researching about them.

Is still difficult to say what and what he is going to do because all we heard before is more of campaign talk and campaign is usually different from reality and the Covid situation will make his job more difficult IMO, but we should expect this airdrop because it is more of Bipartisan IMO, the issue I will have with him is the tax, especially with Crypto gains now because there are so many proposal being thrown around recently
Not sure about crypto gains but one thing I heard about the new government is that they are trying increase taxes on the higher society and bigger organizations while the lower earning members of the society are not affected by this policy. If you want to read more, you might want to visit This Article

I would avoid making any assessment or statement on the government because it is too early to call them good or bad and for crypto I don't think much is going to change.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Marathon Invests $150 Million In Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 05:09:54 PM
It’s good that they are investing in Bitcoin even at a time like this that the price has been going down. We know very well that in future the price is going to increase, but we can’t tell when that is going to be, whether it will at a sudden start going back up again or we are going to wait for another three to four years like we did after the 2017 bull run, which is also how it happened after the other bull run before then.

Whichever it is, one thing we know for sure is that the price will always increase more than what it is now, and the lowest price now wouldn’t be the lowest in future.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uncovering the mystery of lost Bitcoins on: January 28, 2021, 03:58:41 PM
You keep repeating the same thing, forgotten passwords, forsaken coins and so on, seriously there is no difference between all these. People who mined Bitcoin before when it was still new and not so popular didn’t just forsake their bitcoins, the problem is that they have forgotten their passwords or lose the device where they stored or they don’t have their keys.

Like the story of a programmer who received a lot of Bitcoin for a work he did years and he left bitcoins because they were nothing to him, now the coins are worth millions and he can’t remember his passwords any longer, he just has only about seven tries left before he would be locked out finally from it.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: January 27, 2021, 06:53:17 PM
I believe it is living a whole another life now and that is a life people are not seeing too much, because it became a bit niche. ETH related defis are not doing great because they didn't really consider what would happen with the fee, there are people who invest 200k dollars now so 20-30 dollars is nothing but the smaller investors got screwed, so it is living on its last leg since they would be all gone the moment those huge money is no longer interested.

However defi is not dead and even reborn at BSC, they are doing many new projects and even though they are not as much known as other places, they are doing fine there as well. We have seen millions of dollars change hands there, or tens of millions of dollars invested as well. Go look at pancakeswap, arguably most known one and see how much money is invested there. So, that means defi may die but will reborn in another shape which means there is no end to it.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH where BTC was in early 2017? on: January 27, 2021, 06:17:01 PM
There are lots of things that has been happening with Ethereum, the devs are working on some developments and I believe that these developments are going to help in boosting the market in the future and it will keep Ethereum at a level where it will be able to compete with so many other coins in the market which is good.

So, we should still be expecting the growth in price, as you know it never stops, it just keeps going up because everyday there will always be new investors and the old investors are investing as well and it keeps growing.
1013  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: January 26, 2021, 04:32:45 PM
1. Affiliate Marketing[/b]
This is the type of online business that you assist a company to market or advertise their product. It only requires you to create either your own website or a website that can be traced to your account and provided you make a link to show the products in advert so that when an interested customer clicks on it, you earn your own money as commission for leads or sales. The most prominent example is the Amazon Affiliates program but many businesses are getting into the act.
Affiliate marketing is a really difficult thing to do, unless you’re already someone that owns a platform with a huge audience , that way you can market any product you want to them, but if it’s for an ordinary with no audience at all, convincing people to click your link and sign up for a website or buy a product form Amazon can be really hard, that’s why you see a lot of people running from it. Then as for blogging, it’s a very good job to do, if you can have the patience and steady write good contents to grow your audience.

Everything is all about hard work and dedication, we will get there. So, other than listed business, we can get into, still we need to prove our innovation and hard work to find that profitable. Only gambling and any other high risk things need to be avoided.
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: January 26, 2021, 07:45:04 AM
It is possible that in the near future we will see Biden's official statements regarding the cryptocurrency. After all, it is interesting what the US president will say on this matter. There were many examples from mass media sources of how Biden's associates used cryptocurrencies to fight Trump. Based on this, I believe Biden should not impede the development of what, to some extent, helped him achieve good results.
He may not say anything substantial about it. Crypto is a "smaller" issue that cabinet members, even maybe congress or senate could talk about at most, but probably FCC and SEC will talk about it and not that bigger heads would talk about it. Even if he makes a decision to talk about it in the future, he is not going to make a decision about it and talk about how it is good or bad or anything like that, he would probably make a statement that would be about how there should be more regulations over crypto so that people who want to use it for bad stuff wouldn't be able to use it.

However all those people that talk about "crypto is used for bad things" do not realize that there were bad people before 2008 and bitcoin was ever created, pablo escobar made over 25 billion dollars all in cash stored in some storage room and it would be weird to think crypto allowed these bad people when in fact fiat has been doing it for thousands of years.
1015  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying right now ? on: January 26, 2021, 06:38:20 AM
If you have that instinct inside you, then  working on it for long-term goal is a good option.

Being optimistic added trust, from that everything turned into positive, it's very important not being move by any market downfall, it will only annoy you, keep your investment intact while waiting for your target goal, those who invested back in 2017 who still holding their assets are now enjoying. Bitcoin keeps bouncing it will depend from your perspectives.
These are the real things that we should be aiming at instead of selling but that is lost on so many people. Reality is that bitcoin could go down or up in small amounts in the short period, it could even have a big bear crash as well, there is really no reason to keep that going. However one thing is for sure, bitcoin will be going super high in the long run. Frankly I believe the same for ethereum as well.

So, I am working on getting 50% bitcoin, 40% ethereum and 10% junk coin portfolio, and I have been very decent at it, I used to have a lot more bitcoin and a lot less ethereum, now I am trying to exchange that but I believe that is going to help me in 10-20 years. Yet some people expect to get rich tonight, that is not going to happen it is not that easy and you will have to end up with a lot more drops before you can see 100k ever happening.

1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 15, 2021, 06:50:22 PM
I have decided on this weeks' games. It is not that bad and a bit promising as well. Wolves , Leicester, Spurs, Liverpool and lastly City. All of those combined gives you 9.98 so basically 10 odds, put 1 in and get 10 back, that is one hella of a deal and none of the games are that weird neither, they are all quite possible as well so it is quite fun to wager on these.

You can remove City if you want, they are getting 1.16 at this rate and I think that is not that great, but if you remove it that would be about 8.6 odds total so it wouldn't really lose much but it is basically as guaranteed as it gets. You could also pick United instead of Liverpool in a close game, I feel like Liverpool will win but if you pick United suddenly it goes from 9.98 to 18.7 so you could double that as well. It all depends on personal preference on that match honestly but it is a wonderful week.
1018  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 12, 2021, 01:53:12 PM
They deserve those awards and there are no complaints from me about the legitimacy of them winning those awards and being a runner-up. What if stake manages to get all of those awards and that's going to be a landslide win for them. Runner-ups and winners are very common casinos and they're known in the crypto gambling community.
I can 100% guarantee you, whoever gave these awards (no idea what bitedge even is, worths zero to get these awards) they have no idea what they are talking about. The live betting winner, is not even runner up on sportsbook? Those guys are literally the best sportsbook you can find online, and I am not talking about just crypto. AND they won the best casino instead of stake, and stake won sportsbook instead of them, like they switched places.

It is almost guaranteed that stake is a better casino place, whereas they are better sportsbook place, the awards should literally be exchanged. Nitrogen as the runner up of best dice website? Really? Like come on man how the hell do you put nitrogen as the runner up for best dice website? At the end of the day, whoever judged this from bitedge, probably never gambled in his life, otherwise he would have known he is wrong in at least half of these awards.

LOL pinnacle is the FAR superior sportsbook. MUCH better odds, MUCH bigger limits, more games to bet on. Only thing speaking for stake is the vip thing and fast withdrawal, thats about it.
Not only pinnacle is the better one, they are also providing their own odds if I am not wrong, which means they are not taking any other extra cut, whereas stake doesn't deal with odds and all, they just get it from a third party, basically stake is not even a sportsbook at all, it is just an affiliate, and I am glad that they are, we wouldn't want them to work too hard and leave other things hanging.

However at the end of the day we are comparing a great sportsbook versus a great affiliate (stake) so I do not see the point. The awards are obviously just handed out willy nilly without checking, I mean anyone who has gambled in the crypto world would know that these awards were all given randomly to the ones they wanted, removed hundreds of casinos and just between few places to make sure they are happy, probably either paid or affiliate of these places, that is all I can think of.
1019  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Bustabit phishing site on: December 12, 2020, 06:38:14 PM
Good catch and I actually saw a similar one here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5295450.0 it is really alarming how many scam sites are there now days and I think the only way to avoid these is either by bookmarking the websites you play or just enter the url directly because these scam sites are on the top of results on google so anyone can fall for it.

Max day that we will see the site suspended is on December 17. So I do hope that from this time and up to December 17, no one will fall for this trap.
I hope that's true and it is removed.

Hopefully no one felt for this scam because players who play at bustabit must enter the url directly I mean why would anyone search google for the sites they already play at and if someone is registering then I think they can't get scammed so hopefully no damage done.
1020  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 12, 2020, 04:29:41 PM
Honestly nba pre-season was a bit weird but it had to be expected considering everything with how many players are not playing. I assumed hawks would win very easily, they are growing to be a much better team honestly but they are still nowhere near their full potential, hopefully they will get better. Knicks beating pistons was a shock, but what do you expect from a pre-season game after all? Rockets were fun to watch, I think they are already great like this, when Harden comes back they are going to be some serious threat as well.

When I saw 87-81 result from Lakers vs clippers I had to check to see if it was a mistake or if it was cut short because of some covid related reason or even maybe played with lesser minutes than usual 48 minutes, we are so used to seeing 120 points nowadays that 10-15 years ago's scores look so low right now
