Also look at the inteview with Sunny King. Even he is realizing 1% is just not enough. Doubt he will go 200%, but this is not PPC! Grin

Truthfully I never had any intentions of working on any coins other then HBN. But something lead me to CAPs, not sure what, but I tend to listen to my subconscious.

For everyone who has or will send me PMs(I have 2 right now) asking the same thing about fixing their coins, the answer is most likely no. Those who have helped me know I will help them, and they already know who they are. But for everyone else, sorry I simply can't.

So if I ignore those messages, please don't take it the wrong way, but I can't help.

We should update the OP with a quick update to a post of mine a few back.

Right now I am about 60% done with the code update. Then we can start the hard fork process. I estimate that by Mid July, CAPs will be running very smooth with 200% yearly degrading stake interest. Or ~8% every 15 days start. With 1000 coins max stake reward.

I've said this before when X11 was brought up for HBN, but I will say it again. There is very little point to changing the PoW algo. This is a hybrid coin, and eventually PoW will be almost useless, as the difficulty will begin to grow very fast, especially as people actually hold their coins and stake them.

This is not something in my plan to do. It is counterproductive at best, and wrought with issues if not done perfectly.

This could be done, but it would require a good deal of book keeping.

That actually sounds pretty cool! But I am not sure off hand how you could enforce it. As you can just combine your blocks after they stake to a different address. But I guess that would be the same as just hitting the RADX button.

Hi sheffters. I have added this as a dns node. I was able to get connected and sync'd using this without anything else.

However there are a few things. When I do a nslookup I only see one address. It should be many addresses. See below

Your peer did supply me with other peers. About 2,000 worth. So I would be good for the future, but better for the dns node to point to other peers address right away. Anyway it is working for now, so thanks!

Also if anyone wants to be a dns node, it would be good. 3 or 4 is a good number to keep the network healthy.

do you have a link handy to how to set this up?

PT is the man with these. PressTab care to share the best method for creating a dns-node?

Sounds like you have a bad wallet.dat. Do you have a backup?

Try backing up your wallet.dat, and start the client with -salvagewallet

Good luck, that is a lot of TEK to lose...
