1021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: December 11, 2020, 08:23:04 PM
As long as people keep spending money on these new projects and as long as these new projects make a profit for themselves, we will have more and more. What is the point of not starting a new project right now? Why don't you have a new erc20 token of your own? I think we should ALL create one, you know why?

If we create a billion more and show how absurdly easy it is, maybe people stop investing into these silly new projects, just because some guy hired some blockchain developer for a few hundred dollars doesn't mean that we should all be throwing our money at them. That is why I believe there is no way of stopping these new projects until we figure out how to educate people on the fact that throwing money at everything you find with the hopes of one maybe profiting is not a valid method.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 20k $ in 2021? on: December 11, 2020, 06:49:36 PM
By the looks of it there are times when it looks like it could do that, and there are times it looks like it will drop a lot and there is really nothing in between right now for us at all, I really do not believe that we are going to know whats going to happen beforehand, it is crazy right now.

I look at it and see it going above 19k and trying to break the record, and I see it go down under 18k and even try to go down under 17k as well and that looks like it is crashing, like how the hell am I suppose to know which one is more serious? Some people say just because it went down a bit, it will continue to go down and be under 10k and I believe them, then it goes to 19k and people say it will be 25k or 30k and I believe them too, our job predicting the price is very tough.
1023  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: December 11, 2020, 05:11:34 PM
I can't believe they keep buying more and more from these prices as well. I just think that bitcoin is not at a price where I would be willing to buy thousands of it right now, they did a great job by buying very early on before this bull run started and that makes sense, I would understand it if they bought more of it early on as well, but looking at the situation right now, it is very high and I doubt it would worth this much that easily.

In any case I would have to say they are brave for buying this many this early, I just think best course of action for them would be not buy more, not sell , and just keep holding the ones they have, that way they could get a lot better profits in the future, if they keep buying from higher price they could increase their averages to a less wanted price.
1024  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: December 11, 2020, 04:15:24 PM
Well that was expected because with any asset the market moves quicker while its new and has limited investors and holders but once the asset becomes more and more famous and common then the market settles down accordingly and even feels saturated at times, but because the supply for Bitcoins is fixed and limited the value will always keep rising and hence volatility might be low but will always remain there in the market.

There is a good chance that Bitcoin itself becomes lot more stable and these stable coins will become quite useless. Personally I don't mind bitcoin being less volatile because as someone who saves bitcoins for future and trade them, it would be better if it slowly rises instead of rising and going down because it creates serious panic.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 03:43:03 PM
Huge and even smal businesses nowadays have learned how to adjust just to deal with the pandemic situation right now. They have considered the situation of customers as well as the welfare of their employees by adopting the changes by switching from mostly physical through online transactions. It helped the economy recover and survive and it's a good thing that we're all starting to adopt and see it as a normal thing.
The problem is that while they adopted new methods but now as things are coming back to normal they are actually going back to the normal work module.  There are companies who are calling back their employees to work from office as they used to work from home, now they feel like added pressure and I am not against working from home or office but it tells us that the newly adopted methods were only temporary and the new approaches made were only forced instead of adopted.

The real change will come when these companies and the employees take initiative and bring these new work module in work without any condition or situation forcing them.
1026  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 11, 2020, 01:48:54 PM

Do you also have the signature for Member rank so that even they can wear it irrespective they may not be part of your signature campaign as you have Senior Member + requriement, but atleast can wear on this forum and probably get some referral too. So if possible it can be added on either here and those who want to wear can do so.

Who is "they" you reffering ? I don't see any other member rank asked about freebitcoin siganture code except you. But i've seen you already wear another signature code,  Huh

I don't think there will be any member want to wear freebitcoin signature for free

If any of the member rank would like to wear it till they are not part of any signature campaign so in the mean time can wear the freebitco signature and if any of the referrals in the meantime join so will be also part of the earning though it will depends on how much they play etc. I am wearing as in part of the process but to be approved for the selection.
I can tell you that doing signature with just your ref doesn't bring in too many people. I have tried that before and it does work, it does bring a few amount of people, like maybe 1-2 people and that depends on how active you are in bitcointalk as well, you need to constantly write even for that. However bad side was, that 1-2 people usually left after a while as well so it wasn't a sustainable thing, you had to keep posting constantly to get few people rarely and continue to do that all the time to keep getting paid.

I think doing that with the signature campaign would be a lot better, that pays a lot better. You could do that while you are not involved with any signature campaign so that you don't write for free, but if you can find a signature campaign to join, those pay a lot better.
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cause of the recent price spike on: December 10, 2020, 05:39:43 PM
Hello everyone, Bitcoin jumped to 19k recently and I am just wondering what is the cause of this spike. Does Covid-19 have anything to do with it or trading bots?
Why do some people like asking whether the Covid-19 is the cause of the price of Bitcoin going up? Since the start of this year some people have been saying this same thing and tagging Bitcoin’s increase to Covid-19, how sure are they that it is the pandemic? How about we talk about the high demands of Bitcoin that we have been seeing?

Isn’t that enough to cause the price to go up? Lots of investors are looking for the slightest opportunity to invest in Bitcoin, most of them can’t wait and they feel like they have missed the opportunity to invest earlier , so the high demand for the asset might have pushed it back to the $19,000.
1028  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 10, 2020, 05:04:35 PM

Pretty clean win in the end, don't think they were sweating too much.
Funny to see that people can bet 30000$ on a game while I can bet 10$ or less on the same league. And my account is only up like 10k on the site.
Very fair treatment I must say.
This diamond player is considered a high roller on stake. They were streaming their games late last year and had a following I would imagine, to gather referrals which worked for them, as I was one of theirs.
They took a break for a while since their "Road to a million" campaign quickly died within a few weeks and they disappeared from the site for months. Just recently I had seen their name pop up on the daily race leaderboard so they were still active on there within the past couple of weeks. I would also imagine due to the lambo raffle being their main focus now.
On their livestreams they were betting 1.8 btc (which was around $30,000 back then) per sports bet so this is the usual amount of their wagers on stake.
High rollers will have that kind of results all the time, they are high rollers for a reason. When someone can gamble as much as 35k just on one basketball match, you know that they do not really care about the outcome as much as we might have. I have never had 35k in my bank account ever before in my entire life, the total amount I have earned far surpasses that easily, probably at hundreds of thousands by now, but I just make small by small and spend that to survive, hence never had that collectively.

So, when we look at it and when they look at it we see different stuff, we do not see the same thing. They look at it and they see some fun, just like how we see 35 dollars for example, nothing insignificant, not 35 cents, but still not 35k neither, what is 35 dollars to me is probably what 35k is to them.
1029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: December 10, 2020, 09:20:22 AM
^Nobody can tell you what the price will be, that is something unknown to humans beforehand. However we could make predictions and that is all trading and investing is all about, we can't argue with people who talk about their predictions. I think bitcoin will be somewhere between 18-20 thousand dollars by the end, it will probably no go under too much anymore, will go above and stay at these prices for a very long time, probably until march.

However I do not have any data to back this up, I do not have any idea why I am saying this, I do not have indicators showing this neither will it matter because indicators just indicate something and doesn't guarantee it. So all in all we need to give a leeway to people who do these things instead of actually letting them down every turn.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 10, 2020, 08:38:40 AM
We have moved as high as we can with what we have right now, I doubt that the price will go up without doing anything more. It could be a new development phase, it could be a new token that hypes usage of it, it could be something but with the things we have right now and not doing anything new, we are not going to be going up.

There is a possibility that altcoins all go up together and in that case we could see ethereum going up as well, but that is going to be something challenging even right now let alone later when we are already so high for so long and keep getting pressured by the sellers. Hence I think the best way to guarantee an increase would be something that will increase the need to buy more ethereum in which case it would go up once again, otherwise it probably won't.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to get something good with training on: December 10, 2020, 08:06:32 AM
It is funny to explain to people what the basics of trading is. I mean is it training? or trading? Because we are in a situation where we are actually trading and that is the simple trading method that OP talks about however training is something totally different. Trading in concept is fine, there is really nothing confusing about trading and just buying when it is low and selling when it is super high and just making a profit from it, nobody denies that.

However it is not easy to figure out when it will go down and when it will go up and when it will make huge moves, sometimes it makes small moves, sometimes it makes big moves, sometimes it falls or sometimes it moves up. There is really nothing we could do to figure out which one it will do before it does it.
1032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: December 10, 2020, 07:25:47 AM
Trading is better than holding if you're aware of it.
I think taking advantage of high cryptocurrency fluctuations can collect more and faster rpofits than holding them back waiting to hit ATH. ATH is unpredictable, but market patterns are predictable (at least).
You see its complicated because imagine someone who HODL bitcoins 10 years ago will have enormous profits while someone who would trade by selling and buying will never make close to the guy who just held and waited for years.

Isn't it that if you hold too many altcoins there will be a lot of profit you will achieve?
But if you hold too long, the risk of miss a pump in another altcoin will also be high,
so make sure you hold good coins.
For altcoins one must never hold for too long unless the coin is something like ETH,XRP,TRX, etc because most of the coins will die at a certain stage and one who holds too long is left stranded without any hope. But for bitcoins we can hold because the price goes down I agree but it jumps back and touches new highs every time.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: does it really make sense trading on Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2020, 05:59:02 PM
There is more possibility that the price of Bitcoin will continue rising in the years to come, but that doesn’t mean that it will not be volatile. And another thing is that the price might also take a long time, depending on when you invested, for it to grow and also when you invested your money matters.

Look at those that have invested in the past at the price of $18,000 and above , how many of them have recovered from that loss. There are still a lot of them that are struggling to get back what they have lost, but it hasn’t easy. And it can still take a long time before the price will cross and reach a higher amount for them to cover up what they lost.
1034  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 09, 2020, 04:32:45 PM
^I would have to say bets should remain active for now, but postponed for one night. It doesn't look like it is going to be something major, after all we are talking about just 24 hours later and that is not too bad. Voided bets are not really needed right now, I don't know whats going on and what will happen but if you consider the fact that it is only 1 day, it should still be active.

It was a very very different and weird situation, I have seen games get postponed all the time, we all see tens of them every season due to weather or other stuff, I have seen some because of fans throwing things, but I have never seen a game that gets postponed because the fourth official said racist remarks to the main ref, that is definitely something I have never heard of before today.
1035  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Peter helping bitcoin pump? on: December 09, 2020, 03:30:04 PM
Kevin O'leary talked about getting into crypto in 2013, then talked about how it was all a bad investment, and now bought some bitcoin himself. Do not really be worried about what these big financial heads say, because one thing they say today could be something they disagree with tomorrow and they could switch back and forth forever.

Moreover, we are talking about a world where we are not really making a huge profit if we only listen to certain people. We have to realize that these people are not talking based on facts or any data, they are talking about it from the perspective that makes them the most profit, they will never agree to say anything that will lose them money. Hence I doubt anyone should care about them nor should the price be affected by them.
1036  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is a Massively Underrated Opportunity in Today’s Macroeconomy on: December 09, 2020, 02:59:04 PM
I understand your point of discrimination in todays world still being present. But in the online world we are not looking at race or color. I would everyone who wants to invest recommend to go into cryptosm currencies. But if you only try to avoid prejudice from other people you don't need to go explicitly in cryptos. When starting to invest with an online broker no one is going to see your race or color too. The Internet and trading online is so anonymous these days.
The idea of not having any type of discrimination is a whole economic thing and not just an online thing. Sure you could be anyone ever and if you can manage to build a good online business you could definitely do so if you want to, however the economics of it still required to be in the physical world as well.

Do you really imagine if Jeff Bezos was black he could have gotten this big? He would have been still trying to get a loan together to continue this job, dude didn't made a profit for over a decade and still grew bigger thanks to reinvesting everything he made into his business and had loans lined up to help him continue operations, discrimination happens there, not while making few thousand dollars or even maybe few million dollars. In crypto we will ignore all of that.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: The cause of the recent Bitcoin price hikes on: December 09, 2020, 02:13:40 PM
Everyone offers one or the other and I doubt that it is just one of them. It is obvious that everything plays a big role in crypto and we are in a situation where all of it matters. For example, if I were to make a great purchase right now, in tune of 100 million dollars let's say, that will definitely make bitcoin go up a bit, maybe a lot if many people join me, but it will not be the only reason, whatever happened before I made that purchase and whatever will happen afterwards will play a big role as well.

This is why I really care about all the news that comes regarding crypto, because every single of them made bitcoin go up, whenever it goes down those news also made it go down, you selling your 100 dollar worth btc matters too, this is a whole community thing and each single move matters.
I also think all these big companies CEO's buys it for themselves as well. I mean look at the situation right now, doesn't it look like it is going to a level where it will be a big corporation thing? Some companies are getting into crypto like it is not a big deal and they are doing a stock situation like always, and I feel like these companies getting into crypto without any fear means that CEO's must be getting involved as well.

That really means only one thing , there is more money involved from those companies than what we see from the corporation purchases we know about. Probably a lot less, because they probably can't afford to get in this much, but still tens of millions of dollars from unknown sources goes into crypto as well.
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we keep bitcoin or not? on: December 09, 2020, 01:36:17 PM
I understand selling at the top before it goes down as a great valid trading idea, I would suggest the same to people as well. However do not forget about the fact that if you sell right now, and not buy it lower, you are going to miss out on the future profits.

So, you have one option for profiting, either sell at top, buy back lower, and sell again at bigger top and continue to do this and hope that you are not wrong because if you are wrong you will lose money OR you could potentially try to just keep your money and in the end you will make a profit from it anyway, it will be smaller profit but it would be less risky profit as well. I am one of those people who make a profit from waiting, that is a lot simpler to make a profit than keep trying to find tops and bottoms.
1039  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 08, 2020, 06:46:05 PM
I remember I lost a slip which had 1.04 odd and the stake was over 0.05 BTC. So having very small odd or seeing the team is having obvious win not always works. It sucks when you become the victim of the odd.
Betting is always betting, this is why it is gambling. Believe me, if it was "impossible" for something to happen, you wouldn't be able to see it on a sportsbook to gamble on it. There is always a chance for something to happen, I have seen a team with 72.00 odds to win end up winning a game as well, it works on both ways, other team had 1.01 or something if I am not wrong, or maybe 1.05 I am not sure, all in all they lost.

So long story short, if it is technically impossible; it is not in the sportsbook for you to gamble, if it is even 0.0001% chance to win, it could be shared. Hence, why that 1.04 bet is always 99% guaranteed but not 100% because anything could happen in football. I have seen worse things happen in my life so I am not shocked when I see these now.
1040  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: December 08, 2020, 02:18:32 PM
Being tied to other nations and price of your resources do not make a country independent and when you are not independent you are not a nation, you're a big company that could rise or bankrupt just like any other company. Look at Saudi Arabia for example, they had a lot of oil, and they still do have a lot of oil as well, but they used their oil income to purchase so many shares and stocks from huge companies, they made their rich people really rich by letting them invest into real estates and other stuff in other nations.

If you remove every single ounce of oil in Saudi Arabia today, they are going to be still very wealthy and they will still have income coming into their nation from all over the world. Hence never trust one resource you have, use that money to invest all over the world.
