1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 13, 2017, 09:01:04 AM
Heading to $4000? Of course it is, although bitcoin ATH has surpassed $4000 on South Korean exchanges.
But, we can't predict it will reach $4000 in this year due to fluctuations happens everyday and bitcoin problem still unsolved. We will know about that if segwit or blocksize problem be solved in this year, than bitcoin might reach $4000 by the end of the year.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flood of Traditional Traders Now Entering Cryptosphere. on: June 13, 2017, 02:44:22 AM
I've ever heard cryptocurrencies on tv but just mentioned bitcoin and ethereum as the most successful coins, there is no doubt about bitcoin as the best one so far but why ethereum? Because it has been used by many projects and companies as medium of exchange besides bitcoin.
Traders just want profits as fast as they could make, so that's what makes it fluctuate a lot. Whether they are already in or they will join after theirs brokers lists bitcoin or regulated exchange platform.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drops $300 on: June 13, 2017, 01:34:00 AM
I am one of the people waiting to see it reach the $1500 mark so that I can finally own a few, honestly speaking I have been waiting for quite some time now. It seems like the price is no longer going below the $2000 mark.
Bitcoin has very small chance to drop back at $1500 and the last correction was brought back bitcoin to $1800 as the lowest price.
Even $2000 won't happen if there is no big problem occurs that makes people afraid to loss and panic sell.
However, bitcoin already recover a bit after dropped $300, I just see it as the way for some people who want to get profits by sell their bitcoin and buy back at lower price.
1024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: June 12, 2017, 05:59:54 PM
Trading with btc - eth, I buy too high ( 0,082 ) and today I sell all on 0,077. Before that trade btc - ripple ( xrp ), make mistake buy 0,0002150 so today I sell with price 0,0001200. I decide to sell all because my patience is finish. I have loss almost 40% from my money, my question is simple ................. stop or continue?

I'm sorry for your loss, but it seems funny story about your patience.
You definitely buy and sell at the wrong time as timing is one of important factor for traders to get profits.
What do you need is learn from your loss and let it go, quit trading if I may suggest because if you don't have any clue about trading and don't have patience to wait, than you can't get into it.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: High volatility and sudden crashes will kill bitcoin, unless... on: June 12, 2017, 05:09:42 PM
Hi Ev'rybody.
Last days we witnessed a 20% crash in bitcoin, not to sepak about other crypto, including ETH that had the most solid growth till then.
These anomalies, as good as they might be for day traders, does not speak well about the BTC as a reserve currency.

As I said before, there's a reason why paper money was pegged to gold prices and reserves. Because any currency needs a reference value if it is going to avoid those dramatic ups and downs. The euphemism of USDT is just out of question.

And even though I'm strongly against any regulation of BTC or any other crypto, I have to say, leaving it freely float poses dangers such those I said, plus manipulations of speculators who can, by their own operations, affect prices at will.

So, I will insist that crypto needs a value reference. And as I said in my other posts, the best reference value is ENERGY. The most pure asset in the universe.
And there's got to be a way to tie the value of bitcoin to Joules. There's already SOLARCOIN, but to be honest I'm not sure how that is working.

Future economy has to be energy-based.

Greets,

http://estaciontrend.blogspot.com/

I like your idea, energy-based as one of the most needed things everyday but bitcoin development doesn't run smoothly due to many people involved and they have different thoughts about how bitcoin should be.
Bitcoin still have to fluctuate, rise and drop back, its volatility give several chances for everyone to buy and sell at any rate they want.
But as long as bitcoin value keep increasing, than it will be fine even its not pegged by energy-based.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is possible to make a new Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 10:47:14 AM
If you have enough assets such as capital, mining tools, miners, etc.(can manage small businesses)
and also you have a small private block-chain system.
until now, you have mined 10% of the P-coins(new Bitcoin, not the Altcoin) with your partners.
and you are preparing to open the Bitcoin exchange(including of P-coin).

In this situation, It is possible to make a new Bitcoin?
If P-coin is released, how many people will be used it? And can it have the same value as other coins?
P-coin Huh If you use Blockchain from Bitcoin, we will call it Altcoin folk from BTC. I can't understand your mean, but about a coin folk from BTC, you can see Litecoin (LTC)

Yeah, this P-Coin become a question, what's that Huh Lol
There is no chance to make a new bitcoin, only one bitcoin.
If you want to make a copy of bitcoin, it would be called altcoin obviously.
But, if your intention to get profits, compete with bitcoin try to create a better coin than bitcoin as we know there are some disadvantages of bitcoin that make other coins could survive and keep growing.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 10, 2017, 01:59:28 PM
Im a bit confused, how many coins will be into circulation? I did say ico  wanna to collect 9,5 million euros, but if those ammount wont be achieved what will happen? The supply will change all weeks since there is a different reward for each purchase right?
9.5 million is maxed. All unsold tokens (if any) will be destroyed and max supply will be what was purchased during the crowdsale.
€ 1575363 has been raised, €8 Million to go, and we've entered second week of crowdsale which tokens received per 1 eth has decreased to 475 Drp. We will see how this project will last in the end of June, hopefully it will success. I always see dcorp advertise everywhere around the network, good job from devs.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 10, 2017, 05:08:52 AM
Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?
I just wondering if bitcoin hits 3500$ in 2018 what would you do?
Me i will just keep holding in my bitcoin cause i believe that bitcoin can quadriple its value a couple of years from now.

You might miss the news, bitcoin has surpassed $3500 in some countries in Asia.
Current price still fluctuate and seems set at $2800 and sometimes reach $2900, it always different on each exchange obviously depend on their trading volume. But, I guess bitcoin could reach $3500 on mostly exchanges in few months later, at least in the end of this year.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we suggest bitcoin to people after this? on: June 10, 2017, 02:50:29 AM
Bitcoin has small chance to be used as a currency right now due to this problems, but who knows how much people still use it that way, maybe in Netherland or in Japan. But we do know for sure mostly people don't use bitcoin as an alternative currency instead of using it as trading object or store of value. Untill this unconfirmed transaction be resolved, we don't have any other option just hold your bitcoin and use it as you want, no need to suggest bitcoin to people who don't want to.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC and LTC is most funniest chinese scam coin ever! on: June 10, 2017, 12:32:24 AM
So you think ETC and LTC are just clones,i think you are missing something here,ETC came into existence because of a hard fork in the network and LTC is the first script coin, these are not just copy coins but they are better than some of the coins in the market.

Nice explanation, than why Op spread missleading information that claim it was a clone from China  Huh
People buy etc or ltc because it has some advantages and for trading purpose of course. People speculate it will increase, so many people follow to buy it, but its price is indeed increase. it may caused by high cost of bitcoin and the fees as well, so that people looking for any alternative to get more profit.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which coin is best for tradding??? on: June 09, 2017, 11:33:50 PM
Bitcoin is primary crypto for trading, if talking about altcoins, Ethereum and Litecoin are my primary altcoin option to trade.
Personally I also consider Monero and Dash, and indulge in them. Recently Zcash has attracted my attention, but not sure to get into it.

When it comes to cryptocurrency trading, I see there are two different ways to make profit;
* Invest on bitcoin, ETH, zcash, litecoin, dash, byteball and monero and hold for long term as these are famous coins and the value keep increasing.
* Invest on ico where some coins will be issued soon, but do your own research before invest because there are a lot of projects which could ended with loss. But dcorp is one of good project that has good potential to invest your funds.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: June 08, 2017, 11:59:26 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
Wake me up when you can transfer $1 billion worth of gold for $2 in ~10 minutes from any to any location of the world. Roll Eyes

Quote for reference.

Nice compare between gold and bitcoin.
There are several advantages that bitcoin has but gold doesn't and vice versa.
Such as bitcoin transaction all over the world with (consider) small fees than what we have to pay if send gold, especially out of the country. Further, bitcoin value increase faster than gold, so this is a great investment object. People invest on gold because it has stable price and won't lose its value (like $300-$500) within a month, and divide your wealth on some commodity/objects is a good plan obviously.
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $5,000? on: June 07, 2017, 08:10:49 PM
When will BTC value be $5,000

When do you think?

In an older post back in December 05 2013 I post a thread asking when do you think BTC would be at $2,000, well it took almost 42 months to achieved that goal.

Here is the older thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359105.msg3842063#msg3842063

Now that the price is at $2,259 USD, I am asking the same Question, but changing the target to $5,000 USD.
Bitcoin new ATH has been set to over $4000 on South Korean exchanges while others reached $2800 or $3000 depends on which exchange we talking about. After correction, bitcoin seems steady at this range ($2500-$2800) and couldn't break $3000 again (except SK exchanges). I think bitcoin will reach $5000 in the next year after segwit or blocksize problem resolved, so we won't wait for days until a transaction be confirmed.
1034  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why are we allowing Exchanges to rob us? on: June 07, 2017, 07:50:12 PM
If you don't mind, we want to know about your transaction, is that 0.11BTC? They stole 0.11BTC from you?
So, they selective scamming and chose you to stole how much?
If more than 1000 people had been scammed by bittrex and shows their legit evidence, than we should spread this news.
But, your problem even still not 24 hours, right? Let's wait what their customer support reply.
Don't deposit too much money into exchanges if you don't trust them.
1035  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 07:02:37 PM
Are you trying to state here that invest everything in bitcoin? You think parents of the the young generation would allow their kids to invest in bitcoin? Most of the parents hardly believe in bitcoin as they think that it is a waste of time and they think that bitcoin is nothing but fraud,so I don't think that all parents will support their kids In investing in bitcoin .
You should see it from different perspective, young people who have their parents as bitcoiners will get more information about bitcoin.
Go all in on bitcoin for young people in my opinion ; not invest all they have on bitcoin, but learn and saving bitcoin for their future without doubt and panic sell when some corrections occurred.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 07, 2017, 06:18:12 PM
I am living in a still-considered as a third world country which kinda suit me because the standard of living here is still low and we can easily afford all the necessities of life and even some luxuries here and there. Money here goes a long, long way at least compared to developed countries like USA or Japan for that matter.

It is then good to retire here most especially if you have the money in your purse. Now, I am planning to set aide even just 1 Bitcoin as part of my retirement plan...of course it is just part of the mix as I am also into cacao/mango/coconut farming which can also serve me well when I am retired.

Do you think 1 Bitcoin can be good for retirement...let's say 20 years from now?

How old are you? Waiting for 20 years?  1 bitcoin is enough if you wait for 20 years later. If bitcoin could grow 100% every year, than it may reach at least $25,000 without consider any problem or crash.
If you have more money, better to purchase more bitcoin maybe 2-5BTC before its price increase again.
But you did it well to divide your investment for retirement.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: June 07, 2017, 05:43:44 PM
XRP LBRY ETH DCORP, its going to be an amazing year

Dcorp is a promising project and will be successful imo, the crowdsale run smoothly and huge funds has been collecting so far.
I do agree the beginning of this year mostly cryptocurrencies seems rises and growing bigger, many people join and invest on various altcoins based on their needs. I could say ltc, monero, ethereum and byteball has great movement as well and look at the graphs, amazing.
1038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So far my 2nd day of trading has been quite a bit different than the first day on: June 07, 2017, 05:24:02 PM
Seems you have some reasons why and how to trade altcoins, for some coins sometimes it pump and the dump without any chance to get back. Many people think to buy cheaper coins as a way to doubled their funds instantly, I don't think it works due mostly people will loss while some lucky to get profits from others.
I recommend to invest on some famous coins, such as bitcoin, or good project such as dcorp crowdsale.
1039  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of the BTC on: June 07, 2017, 04:31:03 PM
It depends on how you handle the volatility, for the one that invest in bitcoin the volatility seems so annoying, but for the trader volatility is good because it can make the traders earn money, and I know that there are a lot of new coin that got better feature than bitcoin but the investor is more believe in bitcoin and bitcoin has been adopted in many country, so in order to replace bitcoin you need a lot of users and that coin need to be implemented in different sectors in all countries

But it is important that those who do not want to use bitcoin to speculate, but to carry out their ordinary transactions as exchange of goods or simply as a store of value, also rely on bitcoin and for this, less volatility is necessary.

If we are only thinking about bitcoin as an interesting option for traders to make money, perhaps this high volatility will remain for long, making the use of bitcoin difficult to incorporate into real economy, and this would prevent it from being massively accepted, becoming a simple pump and dump business in the long run.

Every cryptocurrency is volatile of course, what make it different if bitcoin have been using for trade and store of value and other coins still not achieve that, just a new one or have less adopters. Bitcoin could be used in daily transaction if devs team solve scale problem (if they think it could be). For now, bitcoin still volatile untill it reach bigger market cap which not many people could easily pump and dump bitcoin.
1040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell? on: June 07, 2017, 10:57:23 AM
Bitcoin price is soaring. Its price trajectory is extremely steep. I fear that the Bitcoin price bubbles is reaching its point of yield. What is mean is, that such steep ascents in anything are rarely sustainable. I am going to sell my coins fairly soon. What do you all think?

Yes, you should sell it as soon as possible, due to crash is coming within a week and your bitcoin will mean nothing, worthless thing on the network. Well, I have encourage you to sell all of your coins, hopefully you can make it and never regret in the future what you've did.
