1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 14, 2023, 03:28:44 PM
I would not invest all in one project. Although if I had to choose between ADA or XRP, I would choose ADA. Ripple has performed very poorly in the last bull market. And it seems to me that the sec lawsuit has nothing to do with it. XRP has a huge issue, and there is no telling how many coins the developers are selling on the market to those willing to buy. Most likely because of the large sales the price couldn't hit the last ATH. To me that says a lot.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 14, 2023, 01:18:42 PM
Harry Maguire back doing what he does best, messing up and costing Man Utd in big games. That guy is an actual meme, he’s a disaster.

Not a good night for Man Utd fans, Varane and Martinez both withdrawing from the match injured, Bruno Fernandes getting a yellow card which means he is suspended for the crucial 2nd leg and throwing away a 2-0 lead with less than 10 minutes to go in the game.

Looks like it will be a Lindelof and Maguire CB partnership for the rest of the season, back to Solksjaer ball Cheesy
Maybe a big worry to Ten Hag and they will now be looking over their shoulder at the chasing pack for top 4 qualification.
Damn the victory is in sight but in the end you have to be disappointed with what Harry Maguire did. This is really ridiculous and when he enters the field all Man United fans will be even more anxious to see him become his defense. LOL

Man United's mainstay defender had to leave because that was what Ten Hag had to face while Maguire didn't do a good job, with 2 goals that passed (GDB) this certainly hurt Man United who was playing at home.

Ah damn the bet is lost, because I predict this will win.
Manchester United played out a real tragicomedy at home yesterday. They managed to do what probably no other team has done this season. They scored four goals, two for themselves and two for Sevilla. Although no one doubted they would win by a big score. It's not even that, but the fact that they didn't convert a lot of 100% goalscoring chances. After the second goal they decided not to bother, after which they evened the score. I'm speechless about this match.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM - yes or no? on: April 14, 2023, 09:33:03 AM
   -   Right now xlm is pretty quiet, I don't see or read any good updates that they are planning. But if you check his behavior in the market, it is relatively easy and with a value of 0.1$ each that has a market cap of around 2.7B$, it can be said that his ranking is still good in my opinion.

And I also think it's not bad for you to apply DCA here because it also has the potential to become 1$ in the near future when the bull run really arrives. Looks like I want to save it somehow too.

Yes, it's been quiet as well in the last bull run, so I doubt that there will be much movement right now or in the next run.

And it is still down -85% or higher and if you check it's all time high, the last one was 2018, so I'm right that it didn't have a significant run in the last bull run. With that, I'm going to steer away from it, this is just my opinion though and I'm basing on what the data is showing us.

But if the OP or others is still interested, then do not take my financial advise, just invest money that you can afford to lose.

I have heard a big reason for XLM bad performance in the last bull run was due to the XRP law suit.

If XRP win the lawsuit which could happen in the coming months, shouldn't XLM do well also?
XLM is constantly repeating the movements of XRP. Even without any news or events. For example XRP did almost 10% today, XLM is also up 5% because of it. But I probably agree with what is being said here, it is a dead project and I would not invest in it. There are many other projects on the market that have not yet had time to be pumped. XLM could be called a dinosaur.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: April 13, 2023, 05:23:56 PM
I have decided I have too many altcoins in my portfolio and want to convert up to half of them into Bitcoin but I am waiting for the next pump like we saw in January to do this as don't want to convert while my altcoins are 20% down.

I have only been in crypto last 12 months so not that experienced when it comes to understanding cycles. Do we have any idea when the next altcoin season is due?

You can sell your altcoins now before it gets even worse, alt coins aren't going to pump soon and even when they do, only the big projects with high market cap will pump because they have the most trust at the moment from investors.

The altcoins season is coming after Bitcoin cross its previous all time high because that's when people will start believing we are in a bull market and for that to happen, Bitcoin halving has to have been done which is happening next year.

Sometimes it's better to take some loss and move on than to lose it all because we were waiting for a recover but the market or that particular project didn't recover. If you want to buy Bitcoin, don't hesitate, buy it immediately.
I think you are wrong about altseason not being anytime soon. Almost the whole market is growing now and it looks like the beginning of altseason is now. Look at the market capitalisation of altcoins or the bitcoin dominance chart. All indications are that a good market growth may start soon. Bitcoin does not need to break a new price high for the altseason.

Hope you are right  Grin

I think if it is not starting now then definately will be in the next few months.

it has been a long 12 months hopefully it will soon be time where our patience pays off!
Altcoins have been falling for almost several years. Bitcoin has only been growing for four months. As soon as bitcoin has a sideways movement, altcoins will immediately start to race. I think it will start soon, if it hasn't already. Some coins are already growing nicely. It's just a matter of waiting for the rest.

1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 13, 2023, 01:13:30 PM
Feyenoord, who are currently on fire, will target victory at home when they meet Roma in the opening match of the European league quaterfinal round today. However, Roma, who have a fairly good record in the domestic league, will likely be a bit of a troublesome opponent for Feyenoord. Jose Mourinho and his players will try to steal the advantage at home and this should be watched out for by Feyenoord. Meanwhile, Feyenoord must carry out a structured attack in order to score more goals and as we know Rome's defense has been very strong so far. My prediction is that Feyenoord will win by a narrow score of 1-0 or 2-1.
Roma are favourites for this match and they will probably do everything not to lose at least. Although Feyenoord are confidently leading in the domestic league, Roma are also in third place in Serie A. In my opinion, the sides are about equal, given that Serie A is much stronger. The only factor may be Roma's poor away games. But I think it will be a draw or a win for Roma.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 13, 2023, 11:37:01 AM
Manchester United game against Sevilla is really going to be a tough game, Manchester united have win three LaLiga side in the European league this season, so Sevilla will try every possible to see Manchester United off. Sevilla has been really poor this season, they are nowhere near qualifying for any European tournaments come next season, that's how poor their season has been. Manchester United has a very poor result against Sevilla but this Manchester United team look more stronger now, so is a see Manchester United winning both legs.
It will definitely be very difficult at Old Trafford for Sevilla, and ten Hag will try to get as much advantage as possible in today's match so that the second leg becomes a formality. After the victory over Barcelona, Manchester United is probably considered the main contender for victory in this tournament, so I expect a confident victory for Manchester United and 2-3 goals scored today. Manchester United spent the entire playoffs with the Spanish teams, a funny coincidence, and even in the group stage they played with Sociedad.
I think Sevilla are the weakest team currently left in the Europa League. Perhaps Union Saint-Gilloise are also outsiders. All the other clubs look strong. Therefore, I think Manchester United will have no problem against Sevilla, especially in a home match. Sevilla are a few steps away from the relegation zone in La Liga. They have no chance in England.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: April 12, 2023, 04:34:54 PM
I don't think altcoins are dead but rather altcoins are cheap now. So this is an opportunity to invest in altcoins at low cost. But of course the pumping of some altcoins will be relatively low. I don't want to call this altcoin dead. But the coins you mentioned are the top coins in the market and they will definitely be pumped.
Yes, patience is the key. When the real altseason comes, your patience will be rewarded. The main thing is not to buy doubtful projects and not to get greedy. Cheap coins are your lucky ticket. No need to pay attention to market fluctuations or even falling prices. The time will come and the market will go to the moon again.
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where next for Bitcoin: $20K or $50K? on: April 12, 2023, 02:18:52 PM
I think the price would be moving up and down within $20,000 and $50,000 for the next few months. But I don't think it would hit either $20,000 or $50,000. $20,000 is more possible than $50,000 though. After all, this $30,000 is not secured yet. We could lose it any moment from now. The correction could cost us a strong blow that would pull the price down near $20,000. $50,000 is too far up there. If it arrives, it will be late third quarter or fourth quarter.
That's not a bad price range - 20-50k. That means bitcoin can do 2.5x each way in a few months. I don't think that has ever happened even in the best of bull markets. It seems to me that if bitcoin changed its trend, it is likely to continue to move upwards with small corrections and in the next quarter the price could be for example 40k. If 20k happens again, then all the previous growth was a bull trap or a dead cat bounce. A 50% drop is not a correction.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 12, 2023, 12:19:31 PM
It is no longer interesting to wait for who will be the champion this season because Napoli has already secured the trophy. What is still interesting to look forward to is the teams that will go with Napoli to compete in the Champions League next season and also in other European competitions which team will be pass there. because the difference in points from 2-6 is still quite close and is likely to change greatly until the end of this season. Likewise for which team will go down to Serie B, the two teams are very certain to go down Sampdoria and Cremonese only 18th position might change and Verona still has a chance to come out and make the team above them to go down, but it is possible that those who will be relegated are Verona for not being able enough to get many points until the end of the season. So the competition in Serie A this season has been dominated by Napoli.

Exactly, the competition for UCL and UEL spots will be an interesting competition with 9 matches remaining. There are 6 clubs that still have the potential to get into the UCL next season. each club showing inconsistent results, making the final standings quite difficult to predict. Maybe Lazio can be said they are confirmed to accompany Napoli in the UCL next season, leaving the spot currently filled by Inter & Milan which might change at the end of the season.
I wouldn't count Juventus as a European Cup contender. It seems to me that the maximum for them is the Conference League next season. So the fight for the Champions League and Europa League is between five clubs, but most of all between Roma, Milan and Inter. Lazio will probably retain their position in the Champions League zone because they have a points gap.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 11:25:51 AM
Currently Manchester United are in a really great shape compared to Sevilla. They are really likely to finish the season in the area that they can qualify for the Champions League. This makes me think about whether they would care about the Europa League the same as well. But considering their effort in this tournament so far I guess they really want to go for the title at the same time.

In the end they can have one more title together with the EFL Cup one this season. Sevilla isn't a big obstacle for them currently on paper. Because Sevilla aren't the one we know right now I'm afraid. They are normally the dominator of the Europa League and a usual part of top 4 in the La Liga. But their performance this season is a huge disappointment.

Because of that I just wait for Manchester United to destroy them in Old Trafford already and finish the matchup early.
Sevilla are no longer a top club this season as they were a few years ago when they were regularly in the Champions League. This year their results are very bad. I agree with you that Manchester United will beat them easily. They are determined to win the Europa League this season.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: April 12, 2023, 09:04:49 AM
Recently bank like Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley bank are collapsing. People are switching their money to bitcoin. Is it the sign that more people are no longer trusting the bank and are moving toward to decentralized world?
The collapse of banks in US have indeed its positive impact on Bitcoin price, as we can see the price has been rising since that happened, however, we must be careful when making further assumptions, because most people aren't switching their money into bitcoin. I believe the impact we see is more due to big investors speculating, instead of an organic movement from the independent society towards Bitcoin's adoption.

Is it the sign that more people are no longer trusting the bank and are moving toward to decentralized world?
I'm not sure about that. It's more like a signal speculators have already saturated the traditional market, so they are willing to come back to crypto universe, until they also saturate it once again, and then go back to traditional markets once more. That is the never ending cycle we have been watching to happen before our eyes.
The price of bitcoin started to rise before banks started going bankrupt. Although undoubtedly the bankruptcies have added to the momentum for growth. But most people still don't trust cryptocurrencies, and not many are willing to invest in crypto, even if banks are under attack. Many will be more comfortable holding cash at home. So I think as long as bank failure stories don't become more frequent, it won't have much impact on bitcoin price.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 02:38:40 PM
I think Bavaria are grossly underestimated.  It will be very difficult for the Germans to play a rival like Manchester City in England. But we must remember that Thomas Tuchel knows Guardiola very well. Surely the German will find a way to play smart against Man City.
I think this match will be spectacular and Bayern will win.
Maybe for me the first leg will be won by Manchester City, I am very impressed with Haaland. He is a former player who played in the Bundesliga in the previous season, of course he is quite familiar with the playing strategy of the Bundesliga team. Tuchel also has good experience time he was at Chelsea and he is a very genius coach in implementing a game plan when dealing with a strong team.

Manchester city will repeat the trend of big wins as they did against leipzig in the previous match. Playing at the Etihad Stadium is an advantage for Manchester City to control the first leg to look for points. Bayern munich this season is very strong in the champions league but unfortunately they are in a sticker crisis this season.
Manchester City are favourites on paper only. I believe this could be a Champions League final with equal teams. I think it's very hard to guess who will be the winner here. If you look at the last few home league games, Manchester City look stronger. But this is the Champions League, which is different to other matches.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 12:01:32 PM
They shouldn't just end up winning the Europa League Competition, they should make sure they seal third position at the end of the premier league table. Gladdens me to be having both, Casemiro and Eriksen back with the squad again.
Ronaldo is a big name but he is currently of the past, whatever that happens at Old Trafford would be nothing but good and interesting football. My prayers are for Manchester United to win.
Sealing the top 4 positions in the premier league must be the main target of manchester because when talking about the premier league title of course it is no longer possible for them, there are two ways to be able to play in the champions league next season for manchester united, the first they must be in the top 4 big and the second is that Manchester must win the European league this season and these two are the most realistic opportunities for Manchester, but for the European Cup itself it seems that Manchester's chances are still not good considering the many big teams they have to face to reach the final round later.
Despite losing points in several matches in the Premier League, Manchester United is still a strong team. In the last two matches, they won against Everton and Brentford. If the Manchester United team does not lose the truck badly, it will not be difficult for United to qualify for the Champions League. The team is quite consistent in the Premier League. United will face Sevilla in the next Europa League match. Although Manchester United are favorite in this match, it will be difficult for Manchester United to beat Sevilla. Sevilla is very tactical. Expect the match to be very competitive. The match looks more likely to be a draw.
now the focus of the Manchester United team is divided between focusing on competition in the Premier League to secure the top 4 positions and also matches in the Europa League, fatigue is of course the main factor in the recent decline in the performance of the Manchester United team.
against Sevilla of course it's not easy for them because Sevilla is a team that has a good mentality in the Europa League, if you look at the quality of the team, Manchester United is far superior but even so Sevilla is not the same team as they are in La Liga this season, I sure this match will still be very fierce even though Manchester United is highly favored.
Manchester United will probably give more importance to the Premier League matches. Because they will want to qualify for the Champions League. And in the Premier League, they are now fourth in the points table. And so every Premier League match is now very important for Manchester United. If they lose a point in a match, they will lose fourth place in the points table. Because their main rivals Tottenham are in good form now.
Europa League opponents Sevilla are relatively weak but this team is too experienced for this platform. Although their performance is weak, they are tactical. Due to a good match strategy, the team was able to qualify for the quarter finals. And so if Manchester United can't play well against this team, there is no chance of winning.
They play in the Champions if they win the Europa League also where they are heavy favorites to achieve this. The only strong team remaining to them I think is Juventus as I do not think they will have problems in qualifying against Sevilla in this round,Sevilla is not the one who has won already 5 Europa League titles,it is in a not so good condition and as such does not pose a risk to Manchester United.
Having said that,Manchester should also focus on the Premier League as things are a bit complicated there but overall they should be able based on their recent performance to come on top in a Champions League position spot in the end of this season.

Manchester United and Juventus are now the favorites for the Europa League title. Both these teams are in good form. And these two teams are fully capable of winning the Europa League title. However, Roma, Sporting, and Sevilla teams should not be neglected. Because of Europa League, we have seen many times in the past that less favorite teams become champions. Teams like Sevilla and Roma do well in the Europa League. Also this year Sporting and Feyenoord teams are in very good form. And so while Manchester United and Juventus are considered to be the favourites, there are other teams who are also likely to win the title.
I don't know why you call Juventus favourites, but I think Sporting Lisbon might change your mind. Sporting beat Arsenal who were also favourites. My preference right now is Sporting because Juventus don't look convincing. But about Manchester United I agree with you, I think they will play in the final.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: April 10, 2023, 07:07:15 PM
Thousands of projects have been started in the past few years, and some of them need this time in this cycle to be forgotten. Meanwhile, new projects, ecosystems emerge and they develop and look for users. There are good opportunities in these times of the market. Altcoins are currently 90% down most of them, I still think some of them are cheap.
Yes, but remember the exact same bearish times, such as after 2017, when the exact same new projects with ecosystems that were presenting great chances no longer recovered. Remember EOS, which raised crazy money on ICOs. Now it's just nothing. And in fact, almost all ICOs of that time are now dead. The same will be true of current projects in the future. You have to remember to make a profit, but you also have to learn to forget about projects.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 10, 2023, 02:31:49 PM
I'm more interested in the match between Benfica and Inter. Inter have been playing very badly in recent matches, so I think Benfica are lucky to be playing against Inter. Although it's as difficult to predict who will win here as it is in Manchester City's match against Bayern. I think Benfica can win at home and probably not even lose away. I think Benfica can score two or more goals in the first game.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 10, 2023, 10:53:51 AM
With Real Madrid losing to Villarreal is a big chance for Barcelona take things slow and steady going into the next game against Girona who's sitting @ 11th position on the la LIGA table. I don't see Barcelona struggling in this fixture, they're going to make sure they extend their lead at the table to 15pt, is going to be a very easy game for the league leaders. They're not in any worrisome competition at the moment with Real Madrid lack of form when it comes to the league games, with that being said it made it easy for the Catalans. IMO, it will be a big win for the Home side in tonight's fixture.

Girona shouldn't be a rival for FC Barcelona, and they have virtually won La Liga at this point. But they still have to face strong teams like Atlético de Madrid, Betis, Osasuna or Real Sociedad in the remaining match days, so we can't talk about a mathematical victory yet. Anyway, you are right about Real Madrid's performance in the Spanish league, so the Catalans should be able to take things easy on that aspect.
I think it is safe to say that Barcelona are early winners of the Spanish League this season. I don't know what could happen that would even theoretically allow any Madrid side to make it to the top of the standings. Barcelona have 11 games remaining. Even if they lose those matches you named, it won't be a given that they will go down.
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US government sold 9800 bitcoin on March 14 on: April 10, 2023, 08:35:18 AM
9800 Bitcoins? That’s really very large amount. I guess for that reason the second half of March wasn’t so pleasant as the first half. Bitcoins stuck at 28k usd for few days now. This might be one of the reason for which Bitcoins stopped gaining in price. The coins normally rises when the demand for the coin among the people increases, but we shouldn’t forget that the price also gets hampered when the demand decreases and many people selling more Bitcoins then buying one. But here the government sold 9800 Bitcoins completely at once, therefore shaking the whole market. Still let’s see where the price will go this month.
9800 BTC = 275,000,000 USD (Preev.com as of this writing) which we could say that it is something an amount that could be having some significant red candle on the charts but it would really be just that too useless

because buyers would really be just simply swallow it up, even if they would really be deciding on selling the whole stash then it wont really be that much of an issue about crashing the market.
Seems like US is really that on big crisis which they are really that releasing those coins that they had been holding for so long which do came from confiscation.
Well, lets just see on how it would goes as on the time that it would be happening.
You have to realise that the government will not sell that many bitcoins on a usual exchange. Usually such sales take place on an auction and through OTC. That is, the market will not react to such a sale with a red candle. Of course, if this were done on Binance, for example, the bitcoin price would fall back to the 20k level. In fact, there are often big sales and purchases on OTC that we just don't know about.
1059  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the price? on: April 09, 2023, 06:15:28 PM
The increases and then following that the stagnant stuck price tells me just one thing; a break out is on its way. I believe that we will see the price go super high once again, just like how it went from 16k to 28k quickly, we may end up seeing it go from 28k to 38k or whatever quickly just like that as well.

It is going to end up being something that will take a long time for us to understand and realize. I am not going to end up understanding the whole point right away, but it will probably happen not too late. Maybe a few more months like this, probably not that much neither and it is going to end up with a good return when the breakout starts, so buying now is a good idea.
You have an optimistic viewpoint. I am also hopeful that bitcoin will make a breakout, but the fading volumes make me doubtful. If stablecoins don't start coming back into the market, then a correction may await us. Which would also make sense, because the market has been rising for almost four months in a row, which does not happen very often without a correction.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 09, 2023, 02:45:18 PM
Hello, with Hong Kong looking to lift ban on crypto in a few months June 1st 2023. Could we see huge gains coming from the next bull market from the following coins: Filecoin (FIL), VeChain (VET), Neo (NEO) and Conflux (CFX).

What are your thoughts?

NEO is just been overhyped, the project keeps getting mentioned as a potential top coin to invest in for the last two bull market yet nothing has happened. The coin has just be underperforming and I don't think this bull market will be different.

Instead of investing in NEO I'll invest in GAS, which is the token you get for holding NEO. I don't know if that still happens but when I invested in this project last 4 years I remember I could claim GAS and sell on exchanges.

I didn't see BNB on the list, that's a big project in Asia and they always pump it. It'll put my bet on BNB to be more successful than those tokens you listed. Don't think because BNB is already worth hundreds of dollars that it can't pump.
BNB is not positioning itself as a Chinese project. In fact, no one probably knows what jurisdiction Binance has. There are a lot of Asian projects on the market, but that does not mean they will all be pumped up. We are talking specifically about Chinese coins, which is why BNB is not on the list. It also seems to me that pumping will be until June to sell at the event afterwards.
