1062  Other / Meta / Re: Account buy - sell should be ban officially on: August 18, 2018, 11:02:40 AM
I have read all the posts we have here so far on this topic and this is what I think...

The problem is in allowing and to maintain more than one account. If a user have a valid reason for creating a new account then let them to create one.
(i.e: in the cases of account ban/hack of kind of stuffs, but limit them only in meta which we already have. Once the issue will be resolved then lock the new account they have created since it has no use left)

theymos has theymos_away (This account is controlled by theymos, but it is less secure. Do not do business with this account.), LoyceV has LoyceMobile (LoyceV on the road (or in bed) Don't deal with this account (untrusted devices)) - these are also some example of valid reasons.

Members are creating alts because they know they can make some extra money from it (wearing the signature or joining the bounties or build the account and then sell it  or any other way). I have no problem with people making money but why do anyone need another account when they already have an existing account?

And about confessing which accounts they are owning as alt accounts: Those with responsibility to the forum they will do however think about this - If I create an alt account then would I do the same (considering the stuffs going on with me just because my identity was known to the forum. Even My wife who does not have any clue about this forum was drugged into this).

Anyway, I doubt account banning will work, how many buying selling you will stop by tagging the sellers or buyer? So I doubt that is also working. If we admit the root then discourage creating alt accounts.

Hello everyone, payments for week 1 have been sent
in this transaction . With the current rate of participants...
Awesome job and I confirm that I have received my payment.

I haven't asked for a refill of escrow funds from the ICO team.
If you trust the project accountant or whoever is responsible to pay then you are good or you should ask them to refill the escrow for your safety. There are people in here who are always waiting to find only a mistake (perhaps few to make it stronger) and then they will rip you off with everything that they can. They will gladly ignore any evidence or valid explanation you will have. Just a friendly suggestion from my personal experience.

A minimum of 3 posts per week must be made in any of the altcoin boards to qualify for payment. These posts count towards the 10 post minimum.
And thanks for this, it was really hard for me to post on those useless (for me) boards except the mining one. But since I do not have much mining knowledge I really struggled a lot  Smiley You just made my life easier a bit although 3 is still a lot for me  Tongue

Furthermore: Keep up the good works

XRP does not even fit some of the criteria of cryptocurrency. Do you think it's even decentralized?
1065  Other / Meta / Re: [LOG] The ranked up members - Congratulations! on: August 18, 2018, 08:33:28 AM

Three new Senior Members have ranked up: Xal0lex, mdayonliner, vit05. Congratulations!
Thank you. I hope there will be another update for me when I will become Hero if I survive till then  Grin
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: At what price point people will stop mining? on: August 17, 2018, 06:25:04 PM
I am not sure since I never mined any coin yet however isn't it works like this - when more people are mining the difficulty is higher when less people the difficulty is lower.

Simply explained, it's just the complexity of the task that miners need to solve to create the block (the problematic piece of the puzzle to find). This difficulty could change. It depends on the hashrate of the network (the number of miners who mine off this coin).

If there are not many miners, difficulty falls, if there are a lot of miners, the difficulty starts growing, and it becomes harder for a particular miner to find this block.

Miners mine for coins. All of them would like to buy nice cars, good food, and fashionable clothing. That's why it's important to know how much the reward is in US dollars.

So it will have to hit like maybe $50 to get a large difficulty drop and maybe it would stablize a few weeks afterwards.
How much is the current realistic average mining cost for ETH now?

R u trying to say that Good Experiences( Ass Licking) will get you merits... And trying to promote others to do same...
No mate, I am not having sex here. My identity was clearly exposed on a Scam Accusation topic and then it was moved to the investigation board which makes it clear to everyone that I am a Male. Now about TMAN, the name states it is a him so I will assume he is a him. I can assure you that I am not a gay so there are zero chance to have sex with TMAN.  Grin

What I tried/am trying is to give the OP a little bit comfy with the example that I experienced as well, since we both experienced the same. The reason to for asking to see my merit history is to give him a live example that only HE is the one who can decide what he wants to take from the complains he have now. In fact, I ended my last post with this nice moral lesson:

and lot more other factors.

There are several discussions about it in various topics but recently it has started to spice up from here. The conversation is still going on here. You are more than welcome if you want to be a part of it there but let's not bring it here too. This will steal the fun we are having here.

Why not just sell those coins and play with the money you get LOL

By the way, I am serious. Just sell those coins. If you win then buy back!
1071  Other / Meta / Re: This is bad on: August 16, 2018, 08:41:37 PM
OP, don't get offended. TMAN actually is a good forum member  (my honest opinion). Overtime you will be ok with him. It's his style of talking to others.

I was offended by him  long ago, when I was new to the forum.

so people, stop bitching and contribute..

It's a new place to you. Once you start spending more time, you will start making friends (Not sure if friend is the correct word LOL), well-wishers.

It's interesting to read some of the responses on that topic LOL...

No. People like you ruined it  in the first place and now you want to "make it a better place". Yeah right.
Tongue

Fuck you op. Get a life this isn't pre school

@OP: see my merit history...
There are handsome number of members here you will find they won't do this if you end up with having a bad experience with them.

decided to Hold more of them, and that was probably a mistake

must be sell them right away when still high

and now look at its value
Sorry to hear. I solid (ICO) when price was 680ish sat then bought around 750ish then sold at 950ish then bought at 1100ish and thought too hold it for long time and now see LOL

But I am a bit lucky that I made a handsome amount of BTC from the ICO buy and rest was - playing with around 0.1ish BTC to see where it goes.

The poll is has disabled for newbies.
Newbies have some other restrictions too such as, not able to post image, a handsome amount of time delay before posting another post after your last post etc.

Becoming a Jr. Member will allow you to post image, not sure about the poll.

What if she refuses though after I pay to her? Is there a way to make it atomic and trustless?
What if she refuses after you pay to her on the current protocol (forget about LN)?

In LN once two party will disagree then they can close the channel. The last balance of the balance-sheet which was successfully signed by the both party will be on count before the channel gets closed. And depending on the last balance of balance-sheet the bitcoin will be sent to both party.

There are no fraud for LN

This altcoin massacre made me ponder what the coin market cap listing should look like,
For a handsome amount of time (few minutes) I thought "massacre" itself was an altcoin LOL.

Too many crypto to get confused and now a days these ICOs are launching so many coins that I hope you will not think me a stupid to get confused with the wording  Tongue
I was even started replying the topic with the following...  Grin
Quote
I looked on CMC for massacre but I have not got any result.

Anyway, I don't believe that coin market cap always list the coins based on fundamental value. CMC and other listing sites or even most of the exchanges now a days list a coin based on hype, pump-and-dump. May be they don't bother too much coz money is coming in their pocket.

Are there any others that are backed by more than empty promises?
I wish I could however my knowledge is very limited to find some other coins that has actual value. There should be one or more I guess.

There were 5 different errors I got during that time, here are the last 3 i recorded >

For a website when it is database driven - it pulls the stored data, saves the new data constantly depending on the request from the users.

When it comes to pulling data and when it's too many data to pull (say entire table for merit history) sometimes it cross the default time defined by the database server. The user ends up seeing error then.

When too many users (client side) are interacting with the database (server side) at the same time then because of the bandwidth limitation and/or possible other factors, a database server can refuse request. The user will end up seeing error.

Anyway I guess the below references will give you a decent idea.

503
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.

Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a
server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish
      to simply refuse the connection.
504
The server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, did not receive a timely response from the upstream server specified by the URI (e.g. HTTP, FTP, LDAP) or some other auxiliary server (e.g. DNS) it needed to access in attempting to complete the request.

Note: Note to implementors: some deployed proxies are known to
return 400 or 500 when DNS lookups time out.
