One compac hashes 2x higher than the other.

Screw on compac
If Compac  Device usb connector is pointed north, turn screw on device to lower settings, ? needs to be turned clockwise or counter clockwise.

If you are seeing HW errors, turn the screw 1/8 - 1/4 turn clockwise.  Note that this should not have an effect on the hash rate (at least that's my understanding).

What freq are you running them at?  What are each of the sticks' hash rates?
1082  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9 PH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 06, 2016, 12:27:57 AM
I'm curious, given the pool has increased in size almost 4X over the past couple weeks, does this shift development priorities for "working on thing X" to "working on thing Y"?  Is there more incentive to work on certain aspects of the pool given it's growth, or are development priorities such that they area independent of pool size?  Since I am just a "dust miner" I expect my perspective of what should be done with the pool would be much different than someone running 100+ TH, just wondering if development has a similar experience.

Block   Block UTC   Miner Reward   N Diff   N Range   Pool N Avg   Your %   Your N Diff   Your N Avg   Your BTC
391920   5/Jan 20:36   24.99505891   523.218G   73hr 9m 51s   8.53PHs   0.04%   209.644M   3.42THs   0.01001504
Why is the miner reward less than 25btc?  Is that because the tx fees were less than the pool's share of the reward?

There's been a lot of time and dedication put into this club, big thanks to phil and cryptoglance and ck and all the massive donations!  It was great to see the club over 100TH for a while there.  We're due a block, too much good karma here not to get one!

+7.5% = Mikestang

It still boggles my mind how much the network grows each adjustment.  Trying to imagine the sheer quantity of gear that is turning on around the world it's amazing.

Over 9PH now, if we get much bigger my little 40GH won't even make the dust threshold any more.   Cool

You are missing fields for web address, user name, and API key, that's what the program is yelling at you about.

Reloadevery works perfectly for me, I set it to 15 minutes and I never get logged out.

Unfortunately Reloadevery is no longer compatible with Tab Mix Plus.  I've switch to Tab Reloader, seems to work just as well.

So cool to start seeing the numbers come in.  At this rate I will unplug my S3 for a couple of these - same hash rate but way less wattage.  Plus I can sell my S3 today for more than I paid for it a year ago. Smiley
1092  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Dec 31 to Jan 12 Diff thread picks closed. on: January 03, 2016, 11:28:53 PM
Looks like today will end up +2-3% or so. Still nothing to worry about yet

Yea, except that 2-3% today is the same as 10% about 8 months ago, and that's just crazy!
1093  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: January 03, 2016, 09:46:52 AM
Mikestang - is the fan still running on your dead U3? If not, you may be able to fix it by replacing the fan. I was sent a return unit with a dead fan that wouldn't hash(looks like the board is detecting the fan before powering up the chip). I replaced it with an old rbox fan and it's hashing away perfectly now.

There are no external signs as to why it stopped hashing - fan fires up, red led comes on when I plug in usb, but it's just a dead little ufo that refuses to hash.  I'm about to throw it away unless someone has a use for it.
1094  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: January 03, 2016, 01:44:15 AM
how many U3's can the R1 support, on a 4port non-powered hub? 10-port powered hub?
The hub has to be powered, I believe that is because the R1 does not provide enough usb power.  I don't know if there's a limit on how many it can handle.

1096  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: January 02, 2016, 11:07:37 PM
I've sold out of R1's, and as promised, I am releasing my customized firmware to the community. Please note that although I refer to this package as custom firmware, it is really just a patch file. If you reset your R1 to factory defaults, you will lose the customizations. In which case, you would just need to re-apply the patch.

Changelog for release 0.95:
- Opened up port 4029 for API access to cgminer-u3 instance
- Max frequency for U3 increased to 250M
- Max fequency for R1 increased to 250M (I have not personally tested freq past 125. Use at your own risk!)

Firmware Enhancements
- U3 zombie handling(Scripted auto-cgminer restarts and R1 reboot if necessary)
- Supports modifying R1 pools from UI, without losing the ability to use Bitmain's solo pool for R1.
- Detailed R1 stats page, including pool statistics
- Supports modifying R1 freq and voltage from UI
- U3 freq selection increased to 250M
- Cgminer-U3 API open for monitoring with 3rd party tools

WARNING: These customizations provide the ability to push your R1 beyond its intended limits. Because of this, it will likely void your warranty with Bitmain. Additionally, I provide this patch with no official support, and take no responsibility for any damage done to your R1 device or its surroundings. Use at your own risk! By downloading and applying this patch, the user is accepting these conditions.

Download Below
R1CGCustomFW_0.95_2015-12-28.tar.gz

Upgrade instructions
To upgrade your firmware, go to "Backup / Flash Firmware" under the "System" tab
- Click on the "Chose File" button to the right of "Restore Backup:" (NOTE: Do not mistake this with the "Chose File" button under Flash new firmware. - This is not a full binary firmware file)
- Choose "R1CGCustomFW_0.95_2015-12-28.tar.gz" from your PC and then click on the "Upload archive" button.

Your antrouter system will reboot and come back up with updated firmware!

Update to 0.95 complete, thank you!  Too bad my U3 died, as much as I've hated them I may have to find another just to keep using the R1 as a U3 controller...
1097  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Dec 31 to Jan 12 Diff thread picks closed. on: January 02, 2016, 10:54:50 PM
This will be the highest prize given as I will stop  new rollovers at max of .2 or .3 btc

I'm glad you're doing this, I would vote for 0.2 max to keep the funds alive as long as possible.

This exponential network growth is truly amazing.  10% of 10% of 10% really adds up fast.
1098  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BM1384 Pod Miner plus trade-in/recycling - an interest and feasibility poll on: January 02, 2016, 10:49:44 PM
I would buy a raffle entry or two.

Any way from preventing cryptoglance from timing out? I mean after some time it logs itself out and brings me to the login page again.

I never had this problem but mine is the windows version.

Same here, windows version and I have never had it log itself out.

Congrats on the pool growth, glad to see kano.is starting to get the hash it deserves.
