1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 23, 2023, 11:42:23 AM
I am actually speechless. People have a really sick mentality. People need to understand that these types of racial things are something that is very sensitive. They are literally calling someone "a monkey" because he is black!! La Liga has to take some action about this.

Otherwise, I really believe that the quality of La Liga is going to deteriorate a lot. I mean people just cannot shout racial slurs so that the opponent players start performing badly. Honestly, I really don't know what to say. This is a big reason why we saw Mario Balotelli lose his focus on his career.

Such a disgusting fare of events that has happened at Valencia. Real Madrid could have walked away and I would have supported them as well.

https://twitter.com/vinijr/status/1660743682461519872
Just look at this and you will see that it wasn't the first time and it wasn't the only team neither and I agree that something should be done. I really hope that until this gets fixed, all the players from other nations or at least black players all leave all together so that La Liga would realize they can't just be purely white and exclude all other races and be this good. Now I am feeling both sad but also quite happy that Madrid lost because I wouldn't want la liga to think they could keep doing this. The team that won it 4 times in like 5-6 seasons to bring La Liga and in return all the other teams in there this much more money thanks to tv rights going higher, ended up getting this return? I feel like they should he ashamed but we all know nobody who calls another person monkey just because they are black would ever feel shame, they are fully morons.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 22, 2023, 07:30:28 PM
Dortmund again dominated the top of the standings with an additional 3 points when they managed to beat the host Augsburg with a score of 0-3 without reply. It looks like Dortmund is very motivated in this match to win the bundesliga title and Bayern Munich's previous defeat to Leipzig was one of the triggers for all Dortmund players to try hard before the end of the season.
Now 1 more win will lead Dortmund to win the 22/23 bundesliga season and for Bayern Munich it seems that they will not be able to become the Bundesliga champion this season because even if they win in their last game they will still have 1 point difference from Dortmund.
Dortmund unrelenting dominance over the competition continues at the top of the standings as they claimed another significant victory this time over Augsburg with a commanding score of 3-0. As they aim to win the coveted Bundesliga championship the team motivation is evident. The recent loss by Leipzig to Bayern Munich served as a motivating factor for Dortmund players inspiring them to give their all in the remaining games of the season.
Dortmund will firmly establish their dominance in the 22/23 Bundesliga season with just one more victory. Bayern Munich however finds themselves in a precarious situation because they would still behind Dortmund by one point even if they win their final game. With Dortmund outstanding performance widening the gap between the two teams it is looking less and less likely that the Bavarian giants will win the title this season. With Dortmund primed to once again write their name into German football history the intensity and expectation surrounding the title battle are at an all time high.

Dortmund does have a relatively easy opponent in the next match. An opponent that is currently facing a four-match losing streak.
So I actually believe that Dortmund has a big chance to win the title this season.

But I will also say that if they are unable to win the Bundesliga title this time they might as well just leave any hope of winning the title. This is a chance that they have got after so many years. Since the last 10 years, Bayern Munich has been the one winning the Bundesliga title. This is a chance to break that tradition.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 22, 2023, 07:01:20 PM
Graham Potter is the worst coach Chelsea ever had, I get wonder too why the owner of Chelsea would pick him to manage Chelsea.  I think from Chelsea problem is just more than a problem of coach , it seems apart from coach their its like their is someone else interfering with the management of the team.
Frank Lampard is the worst coach Chelsea ever hired. They did a good job sacking Potter, but they made the decision worst by hiring Lampard. If Lampard had come any earlier Chelsea will be battling relegation by now. Potter was bad, but Lampard is way worst.
The problem of Chelsea is not only the coach but the coach is a very big problem. He has a lot of players at his disposal and even if he cant use them to compete for the league, they should be in the Europa league spot at least.
it seems the management of Chelsea don't know what they're doing. Signing every available player is not good business, but what do I know.

I wouldn't go into the debate of which coach is worse. But I would actually want to know why Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel! He was doing a decent job in my opinion.

Chelsea actually fucked up by firing him and bringing in other preferred coaches who actually we are not able to do anything with Chelsea. Chelsea will have to look for someone who will be suitable for the job. Chelsea is currently not the best team to manage as well. I will say that the Chelsea squad is actually very good. But when you look at them playing on the field it genuinely feels like some zombies walking. Not knowing what they are doing at home. I hope Chelsea will be able to find a suitable coach.
1104  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation in the world grow by 2023? on: May 22, 2023, 02:44:33 PM
Reading the morning summaries of the newspaper, I came across an article that, according to forecasts, inflation will not remain within the limits of the predicted non-percentages, but will increase and grow, thereby creating economic instability in the world. Do you think it is worth relying on the opinion of economic experts? There have not been any official statements from banks by country yet, but the dynamics show that inflation is growing along with the annual rate of banks. But now it is quite high in all countries, respectively, the rise in price and instability in the markets should be expected or a slight increase in inflation is possible, which will not affect the economy of the world?

Economic experts have in-depth knowledge and experience in economics, their predictions are worth our reference but do not mean that what they predict will definitely happen. Predicting the future is something that almost no one can do, no one has a crystal ball to do it with. From what is happening, it is clear that inflation is showing signs of cooling down, and if the world does not have more negative news, it will certainly continue to decrease. But if we have a few more bad events like pandemics or wars, surely inflation will rise again. In short, a prediction is still just a prediction, there is no guarantee it will happen for sure and no one knows for sure the future.

Another point worth noting is that many people think that the Fed will stop raising interest rates, and if that happens, it will mean that inflation this year will decrease, not continue to increase.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 21, 2023, 08:12:33 PM
Dortmund made no mistakes against Augsburg. Although the match was goalless in the first half, Dortmund's players were desperate to score in the second half. Dortmund players are playing great in this match. Augsburg played defensively throughout the match. But Dortmund were attacking from the start of the match. A total of 28 shots were made by Dortmund's players, 10 of which were on target. Dortmund attacked a lot but their defense was not weak in this match.
Dortmund's main striker Sabastien Haller played very well. And the first two goals of the match were scored by Sabastien Haller. Dortmund will play against Mainz in the last match. This team has lost all their last four matches. And so it is expected that Dortmund will be the champions of this year's Bundesliga by defeating Mainz.
Dortmund win the 90% the german championship today. There is only 1 gameday left and dortmund is playing at home in their own Stadium against Mainz. On 27th May Dortmund will be german Champion i think. Cologne plays against Bayern Munich, the game really matter, Dortmund will do it. In Munich, the next few weeks will be very difficult for everyone there. The betting odds on a win by dortmund against mainz are x1.17.

Well, I have been saying that Dortmund will not be able to win the Bundesliga title. But things have taken a big turn. It is amazing how inconsistent Bayern Munich has been in this season. All they had to do is win the couple of matches that were left and they failed to do that.

I honestly believe Bayern Munich really does not deserve to win the Bundesliga title this season. And we all know if they fail to do that it is going to raise a lot of questions towards the coach. I hope Dortmund will be able to win the match that is left because they have a golden chance to actually win the title and break a 10 year long process Smiley.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 21, 2023, 07:58:44 PM
Ac milan this season has been inconsistent, if you look at the previous season Ac milan was struggling at the end of the league fighting for the championship but this season Ac milan had to fight for the top four which was very much different from last season. Ac milan must win in the remaining matches so that hope for the top four is still maintained, because there is still a chance for Ac Milan to make it to the top four even though they have to rely on other teams.
For Juventus this season has been incredible. After the fifteen points deduction I thought they wouldn't be able to go back to the UCL Zone but they were outstanding. This season Allegri didn't get the title, but if there is no points deduction they are competing with Napoli. Getting to the semi-finals in Europe is also not Allegri's special achievement this year. But I think keeping him as a coach is a good option. They don't need to change a new coach.

Honestly, after all the things that have happened, I cannot blame the coach of Juventus at all. He has actually done really well to get Juventus where they are right now. It was of course expected that they are not going to finish even in the top 6 after 15 points were taken away from them.

But I think Allegri has done a good job with this Juventus team. He has made sure that they finish in the Champions League position. Now if he is fired I don't know if it will be a good decision. This has actually been great for Juventus in my opinion. If any changes have to be made I guess it has to be with the players.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment, fulltime endeavor or side hustle? on: May 21, 2023, 03:49:20 PM
...

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?

I want to ask you one thing. In your opinion, having one source of income or two sources of income, which is better? This life always contains surprises, so we always need B plans for it, and having 2 or more sources of income is one of those plans. With a world rife with inflation, and currencies depreciating daily, many people struggle to earn extra income from various jobs. Having 2 income sources is the dream of many people, including me.

As others have also said, bitcoin or crypto is too volatile and very risky. So quitting your job to spend all your time investing in bitcoin is really a bad idea. I completely agree with what those guys have said.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much does Bitcoin affect other cryptocurrency? on: May 21, 2023, 03:25:39 PM
I'm sorry, but I won't agree with your argument. Supply is just one of many factors that help bitcoin increase in price, creating a coin with a limited supply is not difficult. Limited supply plus high demand, when demand exceeds supply, then can cause the price of that coin to spike. Take a look at ETH, it has an unlimited supply, but it is undeniable that the return it brings to investors is not inferior to bitcoin.
It doesn't matter if there are different views on seeing the difference because I also don't equate all types of altcoins.
Ethereum can still be expected to return by investors who choose it, but other altcoins may not be like Ethereum.
When ETH was first launched and it was compared to bitcoin, many people were skeptical about the future of ETH, and they thought it was going nowhere. But the results have shown that many people are wrong not to trust ETH. For altcoins, finding a coin like ETH isn't easy, but that does not mean there is absolutely none. We wouldn't believe it until it happened and admitted that we were wrong.
Currently, altcoins are more for gambling than investing, but it can be seen that the market is getting bigger and bigger, and many projects are starting to get more serious about building their projects. I believe that with just a little more time, there will be many things worth reconsidering with this market.
Furthermore, investing in bitcoin these days cannot yield better returns than investing in altcoins. Since the altcoin market is a pumping and dumping playground, it does not need to depend on supply or technology, but its value depends on pumping, its returns will sometimes be higher than bitcoin brings. But in the long run, altcoins will never be safer than bitcoin, stay away from altcoins if you want to invest long term.
Of course I thought that this was only temporary. This year it is clear that the market has not shown the movement we expected, including this May.
I would nod my head that stay away from altcoins in investing long term.

Are you expecting a recovering and bullish market this year? If so, we have another look at the market. I'm happy with what's happening, even a little sad that bitcoin has recovered quite quickly in the first few months of the year.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 20, 2023, 07:32:21 PM
Xavi is not an inexperienced manager as he had previously managed Al-Sadd In Qatar's League so yeah it's not like he directly came onto managing a side like Barcelona. However it was first time managing a bit club and in a big league so certainly it was lot of pressure but he did handled well and helped Barcelona win La Liga after 3 years which is massive. Next season, its CL also and they will be defending the title so lot will be expected from Xavi.
Xavi has been with Barcelona for a long time. And so he is familiar with this team. I would say this is why Xavi has been successful as a Barcelona coach. When Koemna was the coach of Barcelona, Barcelona was a team that was almost in chaos. Slowly Xavi stabilized this team. And now Barcelona is a strong team. Barcelona won the La Liga title this season. It is expected that the Barcelona team will play to win both Champions League and La Liga titles next season. Xavi will be able to strengthen this team.
I think the difference between the coaches is that one actually has a plan and the other just made up a plan according to whatever he had. The difference on the trust level is also a lot different, Xavi is one of the all time greats of Barcelona so he was given a chance Koeman wasn't given as well, the team literally sold everything they had just to build this team for Xavi, they wouldn't do that for any other person.
They are doing fine now but lets be honest, they do not have much left to sell, they are literally selling their entire future just to have success right now, and they only did league this season which isn't all that much money. Real has no cap problems because they kept on winning and Barcelona lacked that, lets hope that they will do better next season.

I actually want to know that even though they have sold a lot of players in a short time, did they actually have a better financial transaction and are they in a better financial position right now? I don't think it has actually affected the financial situation of Barcelona too much, to be honest. Because Barcelona has been spending a lot of money as well. They should be very careful about how they spend money. Because I believe they will have to buy players very soon. They are not going to be able to continue for a long time with the same players that they have right now.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much does Bitcoin affect other cryptocurrency? on: May 20, 2023, 10:37:23 AM
My real question maybe is. If cryptocurrency´s follow each other. whats the difference if you invest in BTC or ETH or USDT for example. If you invest in all three $1000 each.
How will it look at each invest after example 12 months? I understand its impossible to predict something like this, but some guideline.
If they follow each other very often with +/- then the profit/loss should not be a huge difference?
Total volume of Bitcoins with altcoins so the Returns that make the difference between investing in Bitcoins with altcoins or USDT.
I am more inclined to judge that investing in altcoins may not get a large return because the number of altcoin supplies is very large. This is different from USDT, which is relatively stable, allowing people to only accumulate money if they choose USDT.

Investors prefer the long term to Bitcoin although there are those who prefer big altcoins like Ethereum.
Making an equation on Bitcoin with the types of crypto that exist today will not be the same even though crypto always follows the movement of the rising or falling price of Bitcoin.

I'm sorry, but I won't agree with your argument. Supply is just one of many factors that help bitcoin increase in price, creating a coin with a limited supply is not difficult. Limited supply plus high demand, when demand exceeds supply, then can cause the price of that coin to spike. But in the long run, altcoins will never be safer than bitcoin, stay away from altcoins if you want to invest long term.
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "dying". on: May 20, 2023, 10:15:30 AM
Bitcoin will never be as stable as fiat currency, because fiat is being intentionally stabilized by central banks. They participate on foreign exchange markets and dump their own currency if it goes up too fast, or buy it if it falls too fast. This helps them to generally reduce volatility to fractions of percent per day. Obviously it's impossible with Bitcoin and at best we will see volatility levels similar to gold.

There may be a way to somehow minimize the volatility of bitcoin but we are still long way to go as it will not happen in the next few decades or up until bitcoin haven't reach its supply limit. Still we don't know what will happen as it is an unknown water for now but I guess we will not figure that out because it is estimated that bitcoin will reach its limit in the year 2140, which I doubt that we are still alive to witness that phenomenon.

But what will we gain when bitcoin becomes stable? I mean, the people investing in bitcoin are very happy with what bitcoin is doing, so why would we want it to change? Bitcoin's volatility can be a barrier to its use as a currency, but on the other hand, it is benefiting many people using it for investment. Furthermore, we already have a lot of businesses and stores that accept bitcoin as a means of payment, and they don't have any problems. Why do so many people always complain about its volatility? Is it because it doesn't live up to their expectations, they are unsatisfied?
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend's investment in Bitcoin on: May 20, 2023, 09:57:46 AM
You make his concept about the bitcoin but you should also tell him about the strategies to overcome his losses and should tell him about the holding up to many years so it will be more suitable for him to get the point easily.

I think your friend make one mistake that he just heard you but don't investigate more about it so this implies that what he will hear he will accept it whether its wrong or right and one another big mistakes is that your friend have no experience and no such a high knowledge about the crypto industry and put huge money into it.

You do the better thing to tell him about the risk but he should investigate more and should start by using little money, yes it's true that he earning maximum income but spend it Wisely is also important.

In my opinion, both were too hasty when investing with simple advice. OP's friend didn't do any research and decided to invest in a hurry, even the investment amount is more than his salary, I'm really worried for him. As for the OP, he didn't stop his friend from investing, and after it was all over, he needed our advice. In that case, I will pass on what I know to my friend and help him learn all the basics of the market before he puts money into bitcoin. That way, not only will they not blame us, but it will also be better for his investment. Personally, I only invest when I have knowledge about it, not investing according to someone's advice.

He is very well past his prime. To be honest, his prime days are not coming back. Does not matter if he puts on weight to fight in another weight class. He is not going to be as good as he was before. If he actually gets any good opponent it is going to be because of his mouth.
I feel like he has changed a lot after the Floyd Mayweather fight. Money has changed him a lot. He was never the same after he got the 100 million from Floyd Mayweather's fight. It is absolutely true that he is just trying to stay active on social media so that he is still relevant to people. After all his fighting is not relevant anymore to people.
His career ended after a fight against Khabib. His last best fight was against Alvarez, when in a first round he has knocked down Eddie several times, but that 4 punch combo in second round, that TKOed Eddie was last best performance of Conor. When he got those two belts, he went crazy and fame+money combo destroyed him. He was no longer hungry. He has no motivation to win anymore. No matter if he wins or lose next fight, he will get millions anyway. He might even step inside octagon and surrender on first second of first round and still be rich and famous.

People already know that he is going to get a huge amount of money from the UFC just because of stepping in the octagon. He doesn't even have to win. If he just gets in and throws some punches he is going to generate good revenue.

Probably not as good as he could before. But certainly good enough. It is absolutely true that he is not hungry anymore. He has got what he had always wanted which is money. Now he is just talking too much on the internet to keep people reminded that he was once one of the best fighters in the UFC.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 18, 2023, 06:15:35 PM
Conor McGregor saying yesterday that he will get the all time UFC knockouts record seems a little ambitious for a guy coming off an injury who hasn’t knocked anybody out in a while… Not to mention he isn’t getting any younger so he must be planning a massive comeback with a lot of fights if he thinks this is possible for him to obtain.
I think he is not gonna get into a fight again versus a champion because clearly, he cannot handle it anymore because of his injury. he cannot be the same guy again after that. now all he I doing is keeping his mouth open because if he is not active on social media, people will forget him, and a new champion will emerge and take his place. He just missed getting in the cage again and competing with the champions because this guy gets his popularity in UFC and to get back there again is to refresh his fame and merits.

He is very well past his prime. To be honest, his prime days are not coming back. Does not matter if he puts on weight to fight in another weight class. He is not going to be as good as he was before. If he actually gets any good opponent it is going to be because of his mouth.

1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin on: May 18, 2023, 09:17:17 AM
Bitcoin cartoon? Very interesting to watch, I will watch it when I have free time. My question is, is there any guarantee or proof that bitcoin education for kids will be beneficial? I mean, recently there was a topic about 3rd graders being educated about bitcoin. For this age, when reading and writing skills are still difficult, is teaching about bitcoin and investing effectively? And is that knowledge appropriate at that age?

I'm not against bitcoin education for kids because I want my kids to invest in bitcoin like I am when they grow up. But we need to have an education that is appropriate for each age, not the sooner we teach, the sooner we will succeed, especially for children who are at the age of eating, sleeping, and playing.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people started their BTC journey when things were more hopeless on: May 18, 2023, 09:01:28 AM
You beginners have no excuses, it is safer to be in Bitcoin now than to be out of Bitcoin, just, Believe, you will lament to have 0.1BTC very soon, now is the time to believe in Bitcoin and HoDL.
0.1 BTC is very large amount for some people, I also heard in many podcasts people nowadays are very bad in manage their money, many people don't even save a dollar, how about Bitcoin investment? it's near impossible.

Many young generations are prefer to buy a branded stuff and have a luxury lifestyle to make them looks rich.

They need to learn how to save first, then they would think to invest their money. This make people not interested with Bitcoin because financial and investment education wasn't teached in school.
I don't know where you are from, but I dare you to come to my country, you will know that the younger generation in your country are the ones that decide to live a useless life. In my country, all the youths are hustling to become some great in life, for themselves and their families, look rich? Lol I have many friends and none of them are doing such stupid stuffs, some of them don't believe in Bitcoin and crypto but they don't joke around with their lives, they are damn serious about bringing a change to their lives.
The reason for such a difference is that each country's education system is not the same. In my country, young people are fully educated, they are always working hard, trying every day to become more useful in life. On the contrary, those who do not have adequate education become a burden on their families and society.

For how long can someone pretend to be rich? If you are born in a getto no one will teach you to save the heck up and try growing from there, it seems there at many spoilt brats in your country then, someone brings food to their tables maybe, if they see the ugly side of poverty they will sit the hell right.

I don't agree with your statement, children born into poor families save better because they know their family background. Even if they wanted to spend lavishly, there would be nothing to spend. Sometimes you don't need your family to teach you, society will teach you those things.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: May 18, 2023, 08:42:11 AM
You need to gain a lot of knowledge, that's what will determine your success with investment, you can easily mismanage your money in investment that could result in losing your money, risks available is why investments isn't guaranteed to make anyone rich, and you need time to learn and do research.

If you invest right you will get good results back, no knowledge is too small so don't always feel like you've learn enough, if I have to advise someone new in this space I will tell them to stay away from trading and altcoins investment first, if they are in haste to make money they should invest on Bitcoin and keep learning for the time being.

The fastest way to lose money in crypto is investing in altcoins, because altcoins consists of too many shitcoins, and take hype too.
I think knowledge is not enough, investment, like other professions, must have all the elements to succeed. Knowledge is a prerequisite to have, but skills and experience are also indispensable factors to help you succeed. And that is the difference between a newbie and a pro, a newbie still has knowledge if he prepares well but still loses because of lack of skills and experience.

Agreed, newbies should not invest in altcoins because the risk is quite large. But that doesn't mean altcoins are useless, if one is confident that he or she has enough knowledge and risk tolerance, investing in altcoins will yield much better returns than bitcoin.

He must have been looking at how Ngannou took the stage already while him Connor's career is fading daylight. But he wants to remind fans that once upon a time he was the best in MMA. Ngannou taking big offers from other promotions besides UFC is also making him bigger, it could be that the world will know him more than Connor.

Well the way he is approaching things now if he continues in this way the world is not going to remember him for his achievement in the UFC. Already I hear people say that Conor McGregor is just a Twitter warrior now. His impression is certainly not positive anymore. I would say that his image was starting to fall when he lost against Khabib. From that, he has not been a very good fighter, to be honest. I think we all know that from now on any fight that Corner McGregor is going to get, it is actually going to be because of his mouth and Dana White's love for him..
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 17, 2023, 07:18:20 PM
It turns out that Inter this season has been quite impressive too or at least not bad at all, because Inter still have a final match in the Coppa Italia and Inter will play against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final. I think, with Inter's performance and quality at this moment, at least Inter has a very good chance of being able to defend its Coppa Italia title this season as well.

Managed to finish in the top four in Serie A standings, a big chance to win the Coppa Italia title and also, Inter will play in the Champions League final. Wow, that's a great achievement I think for Inter this season, because even though Inter are still busy with a busy schedule. Also, Inter will still play against Napoli in the next match in Serie A but, Inter can still play with consistent gameplay so far, and surely it is a very good and impressive performance.

Inter performs really well. If we just look at the last 5 matches we will understand that they have certainly done very well and have been very consistent. They certainly deserve to finish in the top 4 in my opinion. And also playing in the Champions League final is a big achievement in itself. Their performance from them has been really unbelievable this season.

Personally, I would say that they have achieved more than what I certainly expected from them. I surely did not expect them to finish in the Champions League final. Well, actually there have not finished their Champions League journey yet. Let's see if we have any surprises to see in the Champions League and if Inter can actually win the trophy.

I think he is just talking to talk and trying to get the attention towards him. He is not going to have that kind of success when he does come back. He is obviously one of the best fighters in the UFC. There is no doubt about that. He has certainly become the old hat of the UFC. He is just trying to get attention so that probably he can divert that attention towards his whisky company and increase the sells.  Other than that if he is actually thinking that he will be able to do what he is saying I think he is just being delusional.
