1121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Partnership between Facebook and police could make planning protests impossible on: November 13, 2013, 12:51:52 PM
facebook is a dumb social networking site. i'm beginning to think that it exists to make people dumber and dumber. every day i see people checking out each others pages to see what they had for lunch, or stupid chatter about inane subjects. it makes me feel more and more cynical about human society.

and to make things worse, facebook just sits there collecting all of his data on people.. people who give it willingly because they want to be popular or snoop on their friends.

For me the worst thing is that some sites required you to have facebook login, like some games give you extra stuff for liking their page. Also some people or groups of people do not have a site, only a facebook group to promote them.

I can only show them a midle finger, but my abstinence from facebook changes nothing. I would love o see it rot away, investors looking away from it.

Also with google+ raping youtube recently... ffffuuuuuuuuu!

Fuck this social media bullshit!

PrintMule: I'm currently also working on a game myself... unfortunately being able to draw doesn't make it simple to build a game.

How grand is your game idea? Maybe we should team up? What platform are you interested in? Desktop or mobile?

I can do flash, android, html5,  maybe iOS and somewhat slow windows target.

EDIT: easiest thing artist could code probably would be an adventure game like Broken sword or Full throttle. It's also the most profitable idea for artists.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: personal dilemma on: November 13, 2013, 12:30:19 PM
Sell a half of it now and keep another half stashed away.

Problem is - you will always face this dilemma. When price is 100, when price is 500, does not matter. It will always be a pain in the ass to decide. I would hold if I had no need for boost from selling BTC. But what's the point of sitting on your BTC waiting for the price to rise, while your family is starving?
1125  Other / Off-topic / Re: What should I have to eat? on: November 13, 2013, 12:26:24 PM
Cheap source of complete protein for your daily needs

Chicken Eggs (also has necessary fats)
Poultry (gotta add some fats)

Add some green veggies and you are good to go.
1126  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: i have around 100BTC and want to sellq on: November 13, 2013, 12:24:05 PM
Looking for few what rates are you looking at ?

This thread really shows the interest in buying.

Although this reeks of scamming by kilometer.
1127  Economy / Services / Re: Illustrations & Concept art on: November 12, 2013, 07:26:41 PM
hope you will get your extra exposure you are looking for

this reeks of talent

I'm envious , if I had your skills I could finish my game years ago.

1128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inputs.io HACKED, 4K+ BTC stolen on: November 12, 2013, 06:39:57 PM
This is pathetic. Even though I only had a small amount in there. No point in emailing.

And by that you are helping him in repaying, cause there's alot of account with tiny sums, which together could make up for 1000 BTC
1129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think shorting of Bitcoins should be allowed? on: November 12, 2013, 06:37:12 PM
If someone want's to short sell, it's his problem, let him do it. It's not like someone can conjure large sums of BTC out of thin air. And even if - how would you regulate that?

While I would act in a manner akin to described in OP. 'Lose money' when it's at it's highest and 'find it' later when it's at it's lowest I doubt that TF had this planned, because his reputation suffers even if he repays everything, and it's kinda pointless.
1130  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [100 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: November 12, 2013, 06:28:08 PM
I used to mine on slush a very long time ago... Good old days.
Too bad i can't cash out the remaining 1.6 mBTC Cheesy
Minimum is set to 0.01.

It seems a bit ridiculous that the pools don't have "empty my account" options. They probably have a lot of coin sitting there if you add up all that change from everyone on the pool.
I can understand a minimum payment for regular payouts to reduce fees and network traffic.

But how about if I haven't mined for a month? - maybe there should be some sort of auto monthly payout if you have been inactive for a long while..

Pool operators need to get more transparent and more vocal as there is a lot of money involved and people seem to have only partial ability to seek out help.

I am sure the minimum will be increased (or decreased depending how you look at it) as the price of bitcoin increases.
But I agree with your sentiments.

It's not ridiculous, it's a business model allowing  pool owners to earn extra BTC. I cant imagine the amount of forsaken BTC laying around there, lower or higher than 0.01.

PRICE LOWERED TO 0.02BTC
1133  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: November 12, 2013, 06:19:26 PM
There's an awful lot of games threads atm and there's a fair history of threads created for press and market research on this forum, could some game developer be testing the waters?

Are you being silly? It's simply about adding post count.

I would to see serious discussions about stuff other than money or governments on this forum but no,not happening anytime soon. Simply newbs raking their post count. Short-ass answers in every off-topic thread.
1134  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's Count to 21 Million with Images on: November 12, 2013, 06:16:50 PM
IS ANYONE KEEPING TRACK?!
1135  Economy / Services / Re: The oldest sig ad campaign - get 0.3 BTC/month for free! No need to keep posting on: November 12, 2013, 06:13:46 PM
This means I will not receive my 0.04? I really needed them  Cry

You really needed 15 dollars?

I can live off 15 dollars for a week in terms of food. Even longer if choosing real shitty food.

But it's not about that. For me personally turning $ into BTC is way harder than oher way around. There were times where I would gladly buy some BTC, but not with fees available to me. So I'm limited by my current balance. Maybe that's the case with that guy too? At times there's some sweet profit available considering you have BTC for it at given time.
1136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Edward Snowden BTC ADDRESS 1snowqQP5VmZgU47i5AWwz9fsgHQg94Fa on: November 12, 2013, 06:03:15 PM
Ummm... can someone please tell me why Snowden wasn't a downright traitor to the US?  He leaked sensitive US info to two of our biggest competitors, and painted the US security system black.

Also, here's something Snowden fans might want to think about: he left to US complaining about big government imposition on privacy only to seek asylum in China and Russia, both historical and current impediments to personal freedom.  No one can deny that he was a hypocrite.

He betrayed the United States and the people of the US.  Time for Predators to take over.   Grin

Somebody prove he's not a complete traitor.  Why are we giving him money?

complete traitors do it anonymously for $$$ or other benefits.
1137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: November 12, 2013, 05:56:11 PM
Window 7 forever..

Windows 7 is the best OS Microsoft has done in recent years in my opinion.

8 is better, it's just that 7 was so "groundbreakingly solid" helping restore faith in Microsoft after horrible Vista.
And a huge wave of FUD (almost like a paid job) concerning metro UI above everything sure did not help.
It was so annoying to see tons of comments from peopl who did not even try that thing out yet.
1138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are Intel ULV processors for laptops any good? Help me pick one. on: November 12, 2013, 05:46:16 PM
What is her budget? Price is important.

800$, but our prices are AT LEAST 30% higher than US prices, keep that in mind

If i3 Ivy Bridge U will be good enough for photoshop and multitasking, then that's enough

you should get the 4th gen i3.. battery life is amazingly long and it is definitely enough power to do what she wants. with an SSD drive on windows 8, it should load in about 6 or 7 seconds. that's blazing fast to me.

Thanks for the timely response, this thread is only starting to rot, no worries there. (3 months old, lol)

We went for i3 U and it's awesome. Also laptop's light weight is a big plus for my gf.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone post an exhaustive list of bad things Bitcoin is doing to this world? on: November 12, 2013, 05:41:52 PM
The Kidnapping has apparently already begun, its just your files for now, children will take a bit longer.

http://www.coindesk.com/cryptolocker-malware-demands-bitcoin-ransom/

On a side note I would say that anything that makes people believe in Austrian economic nonsense is bad but that's a bit indirect as it's actually the implementation of Austrian economic practices that are damaging to the economy not people beliefs in them.

I wonder where do people get this shit? I've stopped using a serious antivirus software years ago, visit a lot of horrible places on the web daily, and yet I'm clean.

Best thing you can do is to store your important stuff offline I guess.
1140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: November 12, 2013, 05:38:51 PM
I have a feeling there's going to be a massive correction. I know it's still young but no price rallies about 150% in a matter of weeks because of high demand in china. More news is needed to make the price move so aggressively. It's another bubble people be careful.
No it's not a bubble, it was going down yesterday and yet it went back up.
There is actually a lot of buy support now.

Will you kepp saying that if it gets 3-4 days of growth to 400$?
When the big guys will decide that their profit window is maximized it will fall back down.
