payb.tc: Does someone else have access to make withdrawals if you are unable to do so? Say in the unlikely case that you are in an accident and go to a coma for a month.

as of today, yes, including access to this forum account.

that's some very nice work (although that umbrella one hurts my brain), and cheap prices!*

*edit: i originally assumed that price was allowing use in commercial work, but now i'm assuming not.

hi everyone,

i've lost track of my PMs a little bit today, so i can't be 100% sure that i'm up-to-date with replying / creating new accounts.

i'm *fairly* sure i've taken care of everyone, but if you are still waiting on me for a login, or a deposit address at this point, please PM again.

thanks

BTCruce Nakamoto, faceless, extremely pregnant, and rich, with an unknown home of abounding hashes, plotted to demolish some of the worst shortcomings of Fiat; and had endured for many years on the Internets, intending very much to distress and vaporize BTCitcoin.

I believe that semicolon is incorrect as it does not join two sentences.

Is it safe to reckon there weren't no Grammar Nazis in 1815? To paraphrase Meatloaf: Life Is A Lemon (And I Want My Semicolon Back).

i think the semi-colon is correct, but makes 'and' redundant.

as a grammar nazi, i would think it correct to write "blessings of existence; she had lived..."

Sorry I didn't know that was a topic that was overused. I'm new here. It's only prove that this mater is concerning a lot a people I guess...

you're right... it's true that it does concern a lot of people.

but don't forget that a lot of people were once very concerned about falling off the edge of the earth if they sailed too far out to sea.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the Bitcoin lost? on: June 23, 2012, 04:23:40 AM
... EVERY FUCKING WEEK!

lol, the first of these threads I saw was full of complaints about it popping up every week, I thought it was an exaggeration... I was wrong.

i wonder if perhaps a year ago some smartass programmed a "What about the Bitcoin Lost" bot, and has it on a weekly timer.

[ConspiracyTheory]

1. Pirate is from Dallas.
2. George W. Bush (Jr.) is from Dallas.
3. Therefore, Pirate is George W. Bush!

[/ConspiracyTheory]

this must be true, because i've never seen them in the same room together.

giving this a try, sent a few coins, confirm?

Q. Can you confirm my deposit?
A. No. I can however give you a link to http://blockchain.info. If it's in the blockchain then interest will be calculated on it, starting from the first half-hour after it gets included in a block.

didnt know if this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83904.msg928033#msg928033 superseded that or not, tis all good.

thanks, i removed that text from that post.

i don't have the 'lending' wallet open at the moment, but will do some maintenance shortly.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The world's first handheld Bitcoin device, the Ellet! on: June 21, 2012, 03:05:19 AM
I wonder if it has a silent (airplane mode) that vibrates when funds are received.

'airplane mode' isn't about silence, it's about turning off all comms, so it wouldn't know funds are received.

OK I am new here... so can someone explain to me why some think it necessary to notify when they are following the thread?

making a post is the only way to get subbed to a thread without getting email notifications.

thanks for the words, cantor.
1137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Changed names. on: June 20, 2012, 10:33:23 AM
I changed my forum name from CryptoCoinMedia to bitcoin.me because I have a site at http://bitcoin.me.

can this be verified by a mod, please?

I asked theymos to pm you.

nm, i've been able to confirm it myself, looking through your post history, etc.

FAQ (in the OP) is updated.

take care when reading any quoted version of the FAQ as it may not be as up-to-date as the one in the OP.

This thread is always one of my first stops. Thanks a lot for the effort - much appreciated!

Now you're making me feel bad I haven't had time to update it.  My lame excuse is that I'm doing paid work/day job instead of this.

where can we send you a coin or two? having this thread stickied and up-to-date is in my best interest my best interest my best interest Cheesy sorry keyboard got stuck in a loop.

Actually, while I have other ideas for fee-for-service in the banking services arena to run via Starfish, I would prefer not to accept donations or payments for the time I put into this - it would give me a potential conflict of interest.

no problem, i'll retract the private key i sent you via pm Wink thanks heaps for the thread though.
