1121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empowering Individuals Through Statistical Analysis: Building a Casino Simulator on: June 03, 2023, 09:08:28 AM
Regardless of how fascinating or valuable such tools may appear for statistical purposes, there is simply no way to outsmart the law of probability in a gambling casino. The outcomes of casino games are inherently random, and luck plays a crucial role in determining success or failure. So, no statistical tool or AI can provide a solution to overcome the law of probability. Gambling outcomes will always involve an element of uncertainty and luck, which cannot be eliminated by any tool or technology.
1122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 03, 2023, 08:57:40 AM
Every online gambling platforms are accessible using an Android smartphone but I don't like it because of the possible details I might be missing, there are some games that works better and more snappier on computers instead of a smartphone, I do notice a better display using an iPad vs a smartphone, I think the display inches is playing a major role here so it's all about the display, but many people don't care so, it's all about which one you prefer.

You're absolutely right! While it's true that you can access online gambling platforms using a smartphone, I personally find it a bit limiting. The larger screen size and better graphics on my desktop computer can definitely enhance the overall gaming experience. But we cannot overlook the advantages that mobile devices bring to the table. With a smartphone, you have the freedom to access online gambling platforms anytime, anywhere. And that is certainly tempting for many players, especially the younger population for whom a smartphone is practically an extension of themselves.

Why are you replying to a thread that has been dead for a long time? Besides, you quoted my post and basically just repeated what I already said without adding anything new or insightful.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 01, 2023, 09:56:35 PM
Now, the question is.... Will you still use a VPN, if it is not allowed by the ToS on the site. What will you do if they "block" your account and take your balance?

You already answered your own question in a way. If you are worried that using a VPN will cause your account to be blocked, it is better not to use one in the first place. Why risk it if it's against their Terms of Service?

And if it does come to that point, I don't see many options available to you. Perhaps you could try proving that you are not from a banned country and that you used a VPN for legitimate reasons, but ultimately, you would be at their mercy since you violated their terms of service.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle long shot bets? on: May 29, 2023, 05:28:20 PM
Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?

It is a well-known fact that many people initially engage in gambling for entertainment purposes, placing small bets to pass the time when feeling bored or something. However, it often doesn't feel like a significant amount of money has been lost at first. To make up for the losses, some gamblers may feel compelled to increase their bets, hoping that a single win will recover their previous losses. Unfortunately, this approach can lead to even larger losses.

That's why, in my opinion, having a gambling budget and setting realistic goals is super important. You gotta set aside a specific amount of money that you're okay with putting at risk. Whether it's for a day of gambling or just one session, you gotta stick to that amount like it's your lifeline. That way, you can still enjoy the excitement of gambling without going crazy and risking more than you can afford.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING WITH SOLAR POWER | WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN MY CASE? on: May 29, 2023, 05:08:46 PM
i dont have any equipment but a rig with 2 powerful GPUS consume about 500w

If you don't have any mining equipment, then your options are even more limited. Keep in mind, even with free electricity, buying a mining rig will only pay off if the price of BTC goes up. This means that miners who buy equipment are basically betting that the next bull run will happen.

Given that you mentioned the ability to sell excess electricity generated, the best solution would be to do so and use the funds to purchase crypto. This approach allows you to indirectly participate in the cryptocurrency market without the need for mining equipment, thereby potentially capitalizing on the market's movements.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Lost it's Fervor for Percentage Gains? on: May 29, 2023, 03:09:35 PM
People seem to have become millionaires in previous bull cycles with modest investments in BTC & ETH.  If I invested in 1 BTC, is it enough to make me a millionaire by the next bull run, or are there an elite number of alt coins that could help me safely achieve what BTC & ETH once did?

How can you seriously expect someone to give you a meaningful answer to such a question? Yes, investing in BTC and ETH has made some people millionaires in the past, but you can't really expect someone to predict with certainty whether investing in BTC would be enough to make someone a millionaire in the next bull run. Also, you can't really expect someone to tell you which coins have the highest chance of making you rich.

Let's look at meme coins like DOGE or SHIB as an example. If someone, just a random person on a forum, had told you two years ago that these coins would skyrocket by 100x or even 1000x, would you have believed it? Even if you did accept such a prediction and invested in these coins, chances are you wouldn't have become a millionaire, and you likely wouldn't have sold at the all-time high (ATH), because accurately timing the market is practically impossible.

The problem is that no one can predict the future. There is no way to know what will happen in the next bull run or bear market. The best thing you can do is to learn as much as possible about cryptocurrency investing so that you can make an informed decision about whether it's right for you. And don't rely on other people's predictions, because in most cases, these people are not doing it in your interest, but in theirs.
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed DCA Strategy When Buying Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 09:08:31 PM
The owner of this address bought a million dollars worth of Bitcoin every day from August 11, 2021 to January 1, 2023.

Profit from price change:   -239,395,601.9 USD

Approximately $460 million was spent buying Bitcoin, resulting in a loss of over $239 million. Perhaps this investor did not know that the DCA strategy is better to use for a longer period, or perhaps he found a more profitable investment.

So, how can we really be sure if it's a regular person or a fund? And how do we know if they actually sold the bitcoin or just moved it to cold storage? As far as I can tell, there are still 2535 BTC just chilling at the address bc1qnujzvts45qka3cr2eqqw8ur3q6g6s0ze2wlk5m, which, in my opinion, seems like a cold wallet. Prior to the main transfer, there were two transactions of +1 BTC and -1 BTC, which appear to be test transactions in my view. That's how I would go about it, at least.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC transaction confirmed but the amount havent changed on: May 28, 2023, 08:03:45 PM
Hello everyone, I'm trying to understand what happened to a transaction I made ‎2023-05-23 17:13 (5 days ago).

Just like Charles-Tim mentioned, it's a good idea to take a look at your wallet balance. We've already seen similar situations where Trust wallet had a bug displaying recent transactions, but the overall balance was accurate. You could try closing the app and reopening it to see if that helps.

Just curious, do you primarily use that wallet for long-term storage? If so, I recommend considering the cold storage option. For instance, you could go for a hardware wallet or create a wallet on a device that never connects to the internet. There are also options like paper wallets or other cold storage methods available. It's worth looking into for added security!
1130  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 28, 2023, 07:45:32 PM
So, while the number may seem impressive at first glance, you shouldunderstand that the actual count of functional and unique online casinos may be significantly lower than the stated figure. And when it comes to the reviews and full casino descriptions, it seems that there are approximately 40 available in total.

but i just wondering how they make the list for Best Bitcoin and Crypto Casinos 2023 because a lot of websites that from the list that i don't know.
is it just based on which website you reviewed first? or are there any other criteria?

I already asked them that same thing a little while ago. They don't seem to have any specific criteria, or maybe they just don't want to share them.

Here is what they replied:

Great question!

So as many of you know several of the most well-known and highly regarded crypto casinos have been around for about 5 to 10 years at this point.

During this time they have been consistently tested and reviewed about by every imaginable guide and comparison site, and discussed in forums like this one, of course.

If we only reviewed and listed a handful of the top brands we would probably just end up rehashing a lot of known information without really bringing anything new to the table. We'd have no real raison d'être.

Also, if you study search trends you'll realize that the more mature a particular gambling market becomes, the more demand grows for new experiences (both games and sites). We're starting to see this in the crypto gambling space as well.

So we simply felt that there was a gap to fill here and so we've been testing and reviewing both established top brands and some new brands.

However the new brands haven't been completely random up to this point. Normally the operator/program has had some kind of track record with other casinos and several brands are fiat/crypto hybrids.

Having said that, we have heard the feedback loud and clear in this thread and going forward we will work hard to catch-up with many great brands that people are missing from us so far.
1131  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 28, 2023, 10:10:32 AM
Great job bitcoincasino's team!
Reviewing 1400+ casino is too much work, I didn't even know there were that many crypto casinos!
To be honest, I didn't take a deep look at your website but I can ensure you that i'll do it as soon as I can.
It's always a pleasure to discover a new reviews website.

To clarify, they didn't actually review 1400 online casinos. What they actually did was compile a list of nearly 1400 casino-related domain names. Many of these casinos are no longer operational, and some of the domains simply serve as mirror sites for the same casinos.

So, while the number may seem impressive at first glance, you shouldunderstand that the actual count of functional and unique online casinos may be significantly lower than the stated figure. And when it comes to the reviews and full casino descriptions, it seems that there are approximately 40 available in total.
1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: as a result of participating in bitcoin contests, I have a unique story. on: May 28, 2023, 08:58:20 AM
I don't know if this is a true or a fake story, and I don't care.
The real questions here is only one. What the hell is this abomination on the two pictures above? Grin Is this really a pizza?
If this is pizza, I'm Brad Pitt. Do you even know how to make real pizza?

That's exactly what I wanted to comment on - I mean, come on, that's definitely not pizza! (It looks more like a scone with a random splattering of ketchup on top.)

How dare they disgrace the sacred name of 'pizza' by using it for this abomination? It's nothing short of blasphemy! Angry
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would these two wallets be equally hard to brute force attack? on: May 28, 2023, 08:47:10 AM
Would a HD wallet generated with a 24 words passphrase attached to a 24 word seed phrase that is know to an attacker be as hard to brute force as a HD wallet generated using only 24 words and no passphrase?

That's an interesting question. In general, both a 24-word passphrase and a 24-word seed phrase of a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet can provide an extremely high level of security. If they are carefully selected and prepared, it becomes practically impossible to brute force them.

However, since the words in the 24-word seed phrase are randomly selected from a 2048-word dictionary, the number of possible combinations can be easily calculated: that's 24!

When considering a 24-word passphrase, things get a lot more complicated. Unlike a seed phrase for a HD wallet, a passphrase can be constructed using any words, including made-up words, derivatives, and abbreviations. For example, according to some research from Harvard University and Google, the English language alone has more than a million words, and the average native English speaker can use between 20,000 and 30,000 words on average. Additionally, unlike a seed phrase, a passphrase can contain the same word an unlimited number of times. Due to the virtually limitless word choices and the potential for creating complex phrases, calculating the exact number of possible combinations becomes nearly impossible. So to conclude, the number of combinations for a 24-word passphrase constructed from such a vast word pool would far exceed the already astronomically large number of combinations for a 24-word seed phrase from a fixed 2048-word dictionary.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 28, 2023, 12:47:11 AM
Original slots can be attractive to some players because they are unique to the casino and can offer a personalized experience. They may also have special features or bonuses that are exclusive to that casino. On the other hand, 3rd party slot providers have a reputation for creating high-quality games that are well-known and popular among players. I think most players like games they know well and are familiar with, so 3rd party slots can be a great choice for players who prefer to stick to tried and true games.

I like to try new things so I like to try original slots. They can be fun to play with new features, bonuses and themes that are not available anywhere else. But I also like sometimes playing games that have been around for a while because I know how to use them and understand how they work. So, I think that both types of slots are good in their own way.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: low-cost hardware wallet for less than 10 dollars on: May 27, 2023, 08:24:01 PM
Although if you wouldn't mind me asking, what makes this wallet different from the USB wallets we have nowadays, that they themselves could house as much data as you need when it comes to private keys, for a fraction of the price to boot?
<...>

What do you mean when you say "USB wallets"? Are you referring to USB flash drives?
These are not wallets but only storage devices. They are useful for storing files and documents, but they should not be used for storing unencrypted private keys or wallets.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: May 27, 2023, 08:11:17 PM
Everyone should know that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and can be unpredictable. Regarding altcoins, they can offer potential for higher returns but also come with higher risks. As far as I know, altcoins have always been more volatile compared to bitcoin, which can lead to significant gains or losses. I do not personally invest in altcoins (except for a few selected ones), but I suggest keeping up with the latest news and developments in the market to make informed decisions.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: May 27, 2023, 07:40:51 PM
I tried texting them, but they are not replying; nonetheless, if someone can help me, I would pay $3000.

Thanks!

It is unlikely that you will receive a helpful response from 1xbit representatives on this forum. Their activity here is infrequent, and their responses are often generic and unhelpful. 1xbit casino has been proven to be a scam, so even if you do receive a response from the company about your problem, it may not actually resolve anything.

While this is an old case, I'm unsure what further actions you can take. Given that 1xbit is unlicensed illegal gambling operator, and therefore not legally liable for its customers, you don't even have the possibility of claiming your right. The casino has a history of scamming players, so it's not a good one, and I don't think it will ever be.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not rely on articles as resources to learn Bitcoin on: May 27, 2023, 05:28:27 PM
It is always wise to be wary of information sources before accepting them as accurate. We have a saying: "Don't trust, verify!" When we read articles online, it's easy to get caught up in the story and click through without thinking twice and sometimes it can be difficult to break out of a narrative once we start believing it, but it's worth taking the time to ensure we are not being manipulated by clickbait headlines or biased content. I think it's important to remember that not all information sources are created equal. So, when it comes to articles on platforms and news sites, consider cross-referencing the information with other reliable sources to ensure accuracy and avoid misleading or biased content. The same applies to social media and forums. If you see a post that seems too good to be true or overly dramatic, take the time to check it out and ask yourself if it seems credible. One of the most important things to remember when it comes to online content is that you are not just reading random words on a screen. You are reading words written by people with an agenda who may or may not have your best interests at heart. As such, it's important to consider how the writer is framing their message, why they are writing it and if there is any bias in what they are saying.

Btw, I saw something it's not a big deal though but i was hoping you could take a look at it and see if it's just me or if it happens to others as well.
In the top navigation bar when you are using desktop in full screen mode, if you click on "More" > "Crypto Gambling" it suppose to bring out more options but in full screen the options are hidden.
Although it works well when the site is reduced.

I believe it could be related to the resolution of your screen. Personally, on my desktop in full-screen mode, I can see all the menu items without any issues. However, when I reduce the window size, I do encounter the problem you described.

Having said that, we have heard the feedback loud and clear in this thread and going forward we will work hard to catch-up with many great brands that people are missing from us so far.

I appreciate that you have taken the feedback from this thread into consideration.  I agree that, by testing and reviewing both established top brands and newer brands, you will be able to provide a more comprehensive overview of the market and offer readers a wider range of options to choose from. Just be careful with casinos that have a dubious reputation or a history of problems. This is important because there are many scammers out there who want to take advantage of people and it’s your responsibility not to provide them with free advertising.

You can also use the feedback from this forum to find out which brands our members like most. I'm sure they will appreciate it if you included their suggestions in future articles!
Keep up the good work!
