1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 12:51:18 PM
We are back in action tonight and I want to make an analogy to this game as it looks exactly like last year final because again one Italian team is playing against a Dutch team tonight in Rome,Italy.Lazio is facing Az Alkmaar at home tonight and normally they are heavy favorites to win this game but I think it won't be as easy as it looks on paper,I am sure Alkmaar is not going to Rome just for a picnic or tourism but to fight to get a least a draw so they can leave everything open for the return leg in the Netherlands.

For betting though I would bet of course on Lazio to win as the odd 1.70 for them at home is really good.
I wouldn't expect Alkmaar to win this game either against Lazio, who recently managed to beat unbeaten Napoli. Most likely after this match, Alkmaar will have no chance of trying to win the return game. Lazio are now in good form and are in second place in the Italian standings. That's a lot better than Dutch football.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 09:15:16 AM
I hope this will not be another win for Dortmund, the last match may even be deceiving because it was only one goal scored, this time can be more. Chelsea should try to win at least 2 goals as you have said because Dortmund would likely score. I am expecting much from Chelsea but maybe it will surprise us today. Because Dortmund may not be good at Chelsea's home, let me go for stalemate.
Chelsea didn't even have a good performance when were playing in their own home on Premier League, how you can sure Chelsea will able to beat Dortmund at least for 2 goals? Just take a look with the current starting line up, Chelsea change the position between Havertz and Felix, it's the first time Felix is playing at center forward position, Potter is just use his new experiment in this match.

Don't forget there a many Chelsea's good players were not playing e.g. Ngolo Kante, Thiago Silva, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount.
I also think Chelsea are being deliberately made favourites in this match. Apart from their poor performance in the Premier League, they failed to show a good level in the first game and lost. Now at Stamford Bridge they need to score at least two goals and not concede, which in Chelsea's current condition is almost impossible. I don't think Dortmund will lose today.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 06, 2023, 04:29:44 PM
We have all seen and heard how gambling has destroyed so Many homes, a man that has never gambled in his life all of a sudden just starts gambling in the hope of making some cash to sustain and provide for his family but instead turns to a gambling addict who spends the little they have on gamble.
It is not easy to be able to make a profit from gambling, especially if you expect gambling to be a job with the aim of earning a living and supporting their family.
If we think logically, we can conclude that winning in gambling is only a profit factor because everything is regulated by the system. Although there are indeed some strategies to be able to at least beat the system that has been created by the game provider, but not 100% you can keep winning it.
If someone has more hope in gambling then I believe the destruction and loss that will be obtained in the future.
Gambling is a 50/50 risk of earning or losing. And when there is even a small risk of losing money, it can no longer be a form of regular income or work. It's like day trading on a crypto exchange, where you end up losing anyway.
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 06, 2023, 02:58:47 PM
I am still bullish on the possibility of bitcoin surpassing $25k in March. Although market history has not supported the inflow of money into bitcoin in March, bitcoin has always produced surprises. Volatility and restraining pressure from highly leveraged market makers may make bitcoin weaker but by no means lose momentum. Bitcoin has been flat for the past week and holds between $22k - 22k4$, maybe we need more observations to determine the direction bitcoin is going but Yes - I have a surprise vote in March from bitcoin.

In March, the story of the payment of stolen bitcoins from the Mt Gox exchange will begin. The amount is not very big, but it's not small either - about 144k bitcoins. I think this will play a role in the fact that bitcoin might be in sideways movement in March. But if investors don't sell these coins, then I think we should see a green light. Although it's been almost a third of March and nothing good has happened.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 06, 2023, 02:14:23 PM
Real Betis 0-0 Real Madrid
What is going on with Real Madrid these days? Their performances have been very inconsistent, which putting them in deeper trouble. There's no catching up here - they're just facing reality. The problem with Ancelotti is that he uses the same tactical approach for every game, which is now easily visible and readable by other teams. Madrid desperately needs reinforcements. I wonder why Ancelotti is finding it difficult to substitute Vini Jr and Karim Benzema when they're playing so poorly.

It's understandable that every club experiences struggles sometimes, but this is a particularly difficult period for Madrid and it seems they won't be able to bounce back this time. I mean there's nothing to do rather just watching Barca celebrate their league title.

Real Madrid are tired
last year when Barcelona was doing nothing, he was able to manage the fatigue better
this year with Barcelona pushing (and also a lot) then he finds himself in a double effort, the effort of the Champions League and La Liga
I honestly would bet everything on the Champions League, then well I'm not the coach
Betis are not an easy opponent for any team, even Barcelona or Real Madrid. They play very well at home, but also Real spent a lot of energy in the match against Liverpool. That's why they couldn't win this game. Still, it's good that they were able to pick up at least one point. I think that the coach has set a goal to rest the players before the next game in the Champions League.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox will release bitcoin in march - what's next? on: March 05, 2023, 09:23:41 PM
We are not talking here about 1+ million BTC, but something less than 150 000, of which I do not believe that even 50% will come to the market right away - and even if that happens, we should not expect the apocalypse that some have been talking about for years.
Yes, even though many people will sell it, we never expect apocalypse. After all most of Mt. Gox creditors seems to know that the bitcoin halving has triggered ATH, so they will probably wait for higher price instead of selling all their bitcoin right away. 50% of that bitcoin could be sold, but however the market it would only respond for some time before finally the market will recovering.
I agree that there will definitely not be an apocalypse because of this story. But for a while, sellers will dominate the market by about as much as miners sell. I don't see this as a good factor for bitcoin growth, but I do see it as a short-term phenomenon.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana failure resistant? on: March 05, 2023, 08:32:56 PM
In the case of Solana, there have been instances where the network experienced performance issues and downtime due to a surge in transaction volume. This has led to questions about the network's scalability and its ability to handle high levels of traffic.
but the most crutial thing that make solana dump is alameda research and ftx when both of them have a huge amount of holding solana, that make massive dump when the bad news about ftt token and ftx exchange.
I think it is simply time to forget about this project, just as eos, xem, and even bch were forgotten in their time. I agree that the Alameda fund has ruined Solana's reputation, but apart from that there will be new projects for the next cycle, for example Aptos has already managed to create a new hype.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: March 05, 2023, 04:59:13 PM
All token which you mentioned are full of advantages and these will go more up in coming bullish period. Investment in these tokens will definitely offers you greater outcomes hence the Ethereum is the second successful coin and price of Ethereum is greater and will skyrocket in Bull run. Most of people are in desires to make investment in these tokens because they are considered as a successful token in crypto market .
You can talk as much as you like about the technology and prospects of various shitcoins, it's still safe to say that they are dead, and those that have just been released will die in the future. Every cycle there are new coins that are better and more technologically advanced than the previous ones, but eventually they both end up on the scrapheap. A good example is Solana. Only a few will survive, the rest is just speculation.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: March 05, 2023, 03:30:46 PM
is it possible that bitcoin will return to the price of 19000? or after this decline bitcoin will go back up higher ,,,?
It is very possible to happen if there is a simultaneous sale by investors of bitcoin because when a simultaneous sale occurs, of course everyone in the market will panic, causing the price of bitcoin to drop significantly, but I will not say when this will happen because we never know exactly where the market will move next, my advice is that instead of waiting for the bitcoin price to drop to the $ 19k level, you should just take advantage of every decline that occurs as it is now, even though the price has not fallen to the bottom price as you expect, so you don't miss the momentum to buy at a price discount.
Investors await accurate information on bitcoin payouts following the collapse of Mt Gox. The start of this period is so far scheduled for March this year. It seems to me that because of these events we will not see more growth in the nearest future, because with 144k bitcoins sold, not all at once, but in parts, the sellers' pressure will increase. You can compare it as if miners will start selling twice as many bitcoins for a while.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 05, 2023, 01:29:46 PM
Messi should leave PSG team. Because I personally think PSG team players are not able to support Messi well. Messi will be able to achieve much more in the rest of his career if he goes to another team.

Messi is still shining in PSG and performing well in this team with or without another player he is a superstar and these days he is performing better than before after the world cup and the result he got with Argentina while in PSG he is not the only one important player there and there are Neymar and Mbappe so if he joins another team PSG can buy another player to replace him while he maybe cannot have the same performance in another team like PSG.
Messi has never been a one-man man like Ronaldo and has always played a team game. That's why I don't think he's susceptible to any of the struggles for team supremacy that young players are used to. But that doesn't rule out PSG playing worse and worse with each round. Today should have been the decisive first half, but by some miracle Nantes managed to score two goals and level the score. I'm not saying PSG will lose, but it's been a recurring phenomenon for them.

The game of tonight is being very entertaining,I doubted that Nantes could score two goals to Paris and make the game this fun but I am sure Paris will win this game.In the case they don't though as there is still plenty of time before the final whistle I think it will be because I am sure Paris is thinking much more of that super difficult encounter against Bayern Munchen in the Champions League rather than they are thinking to finish soon the Ligue 1,for Ligue 1 they have a lot of time and they are more than 8 points ahead of Marseille and Monaco which should be more than enough for them to finish first here as always.

I said they had some hope when Nantes brought the situation to 2-2, but Psg showed their strength again in the second half and managed to win the match 4-2 with the goal scored by Mbappe in the last minutes.  They will go to the game against Bayern Munich in great form.  He is in great form at Bayern Munich right now.  I think this match of the two teams will be a football feast.
I had no doubts either that the second half would remain with PSG and they are understandable when they have a tough match against Bayern in a few days' time. PSG will need to score at least two goals and not concede any. That's why such a weak game against Nantes was because of the upcoming game against Bayern.

1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 04, 2023, 06:01:29 PM
Before the match, everyone was praising Napoli and there was no doubt that they would beat Lazio. When there is such absolute certainty, something is more likely to go wrong. That's exactly what happened. This situation reminds me of when everyone started talking about bitcoin going up and it went down. It must have been a manipulation of the crowd.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 03, 2023, 05:52:25 PM
Binance Exchange is going to launch secure xrp Staking this month. I got a email yesterday about this and want to claim my spot. 8800 confirmed accounts only will have access.

Rewards are nice. The rewards are 10% to 25% for first cohorts of users. It is for current XRP balance and additional returns for the initial campaign.  https://www.binance.com/en/earn/xrp
There is talk about Ripple almost every day. Somewhere in Indonesia, Ripple is introducing banking payments, or they are partnering with Dubai. Or Binance is opening a stacking. But still the most important case has not been resolved yet - it is not clear who will win in court, Ripple or the SEC. If Ripple loses the court, all these partnerships will go down the drain.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 03, 2023, 01:23:23 PM
Napoli will be my favorite in this match, because they have what it takes to achieve victory from Lazio in this match. Based on what they did in Lazio home to disgrace them, showed that they will not allow Lazio to score any goal from this match because they are fully ready to use home advantage to play Lazio to ensure they score many goals that will make their fans celebrate like never before. Despite, the potential defenders Lazio have in this season, I don't think they can stop Osimhen not to score goals for this match, because he know how to create opportunity to score goals in any competition.

There is no doubt that Napoli will be the underdogs in this fight. every Serie A lover will know this that Napoli's performance has been truly extraordinary throughout this season. so most likely no one will think that Napoli will lose the match played at home. Napoli players always display great cooperation. Their attack and defense strategy is very neat and there are very few gaps. so that the lines of attack and defense are always effective in making it difficult for the opponent.
It should be noted that not only is Napoli the favourites for any Serie A game, but Lazio have been playing much worse in recent matches. I don't think Lazio will even be able to score a goal today, but Napoli will probably be able to score a few. Either way, Napoli will get another three points and Lazio will lose the game.
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 03, 2023, 12:26:29 PM
Despite the fact that we cant deny the fact that bitcoin will reach 80k but when that will be we cant tell yet, but as it is we should expect a more positive market for bitcoin this year, and as long as no unexpected bad event happen we should go above that price before the end of 2023.
But this is not an investment advise as i am not an investors but i am a holder, so whatever the price will be i don't really care so as a long term holder, i have a focast that is beyond 2023.
I also think that after such a hard and long fall in price, when there were major bankruptcies and all sorts of scams like TERRA LUNA or FTX, this year in my opinion there should be a recovery, but not a new growth with the new ATH. The market should at least survive the past shocks.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: March 02, 2023, 04:53:33 PM
Since we all know that dogecoin is getting backed by Elon Musk and people also want him to accept payment in dogecoin for his Tesla cars. And since his single tweet can give a boost to the price of dogecoin, what do you think?
Does Elon really take doge to the moon?
Elon Musk shilling Doge Coin for the first time Doge price skyrocketed because a rich person like Elon Musk was the first to tweet about cryptocurrency and that was Bitcoin and Doge Coin.  At that time everyone panicked and bought Doge and as a result many people made huge losses.  So now no one panics over Elon Musk's tweets.  So even tweeting about Doge doesn't pump up its price much. So now it is doubtful that Doge can go back to $1
Of course it is doubtful that doge will be able to go back to $1, as so many people hold these coins with the hope of getting rich. It's a classic. When doge was no longer needed, no one even mentioned it. But now the hype around this coin hasn't subsided for several years. I don't think there will be any more hype around this coin. Some new coin will come along, just as unexpectedly.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 02, 2023, 04:20:14 PM
The monthly candle looks very optimistic, bouncing back from support. I don't know if the market will be positive in March, but technically it all looks good to me. I hope the crypto world won't have any more big scams and we will have a smooth uptrend to halving followed by a bullish run. But I'm looking at this March positively.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 02, 2023, 11:19:40 AM
So with this result, Is Marseille eliminated from Coupe de France this year?, or still have leg 2?. If a big team like Marseille loses versus Ligue 2 team Annecy, I think the coach and squad must be careful also about the position on Ligue 1, It's not possible the position on champions league zone will be shifted by a club like Monaco, and Lens which has only 2 different points.

Marseille already eliminated from coupe de france caused by it was losing in the pentalty against annecy. Marseille already eliminated and it will able to take a trophy for this season. A bit surprised to see that Annecy was doing so well against marseille.

Marseille is not having chance to chase PSG caused by the gap was too big. Marseille must accept the truth if the club will not get trophy at the end of this season.

There's no second leg in coupe de france.
Marseille really don't stand a chance of making it to the top of the Ligue 1 standings. Still, we shouldn't rule out some force majeure in the form of injuries to key PSG players. With 13 rounds to go until the end of the season, I think there is still a minimum chance for Marseille. But the main thing is that they don't lose the rest of their matches, which is unlikely.
1199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox will release bitcoin in march - what's next? on: March 02, 2023, 09:02:20 AM
The deadline to register payee information is in mid-March. This was pushed back from early January. I don’t think there’s any chance payouts come in March. There’s still a lot of work to be done and with the US forcing exchanges to close accounts of Americans left and right, I imagine even getting the payouts to their appropriate creditors is going to be a hassle.
I also think that these payments, if nothing changes again, as it has happened many times before, will last a very long time. The exchange won't be able to pay each user the full amount in one lump sum. This procedure will drag on for a long time and will most likely have no effect at all on the market, which has a huge capitalisation compared to when Mt Gox scammed. This news may even have played out a long time ago.
1200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox will release bitcoin in march - what's next? on: March 01, 2023, 04:37:32 PM
The news may not be good enough for the markets during March, but it will only be important for things to support bitcoin price analysis during March. Corrections may occur due to this plan, but however I don't know what the certainty is. My hope remains, bitcoin is expected to hold above $20K through March.

What are your plans now?

Mt. Gox creditors may finally start seeing their bitcoins this month

Quote
Mt. Gox creditors may start seeing their first bitcoin payments this month as the window for repayments is set to open.

Creditors are expected to receive early repayments from March 10 onward, while the deadline for such payments to be completed is September 30, according to a January statement. This is for the first tranche of repayments — including early lump sum payments and intermediate payments — with further amounts set to come later.

“Well, for myself, I had pretty much written off the Bitcoin I still had on Mt. Gox in 2014 as a loss, so philosophically anything I get back now is a bonus to cold store,” said Blockstream CEO Adam Back, who is a Mt. Gox creditor, via Telegram.

“It has stretched on for many more years than anyone expected, and so it will be welcome I am sure by any creditors to finally get paid,” he added.
I don't think Mt. Gox has had an impact on the crypto market for a long time. If at the beginning of the process they may have had a negative impact on bitcoin and other assets, but this news has not surprised anyone for a long time and I would not be surprised if at the last moment their plans change again. All in all, I will not react to it in any way. There are plenty of other negative news on the market right now than this one. Even more so, even if the exchange starts to return funds to users, it will certainly not all at once and it will require a huge amount of red tape.
