yeah not a real review . . . at least some pix though thx for the link. but yet still not in any customers hands afaik.

would like to see it working with cubie, rpi, bbb + cgminer + no limitations or issues at any pools.

if all of the above works well it's gonna kick some butts !

1189  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Reset Dragon 1.5th SSH password ? on: October 13, 2014, 01:13:04 PM

Without Linux I don't think it will be possible. I mean, is the Dragon Miner fork of (I'm guessing) cgminer even open source?

I'll give it a go and if it works I write something up.

TIA !!! do keep us up to date.
1190  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Reset Dragon 1.5th SSH password ? on: October 13, 2014, 12:07:06 PM

I'm wondering the same as I have some on the way.

It has a RPi as controller, right? Maybe this would work? Take out the SD card, plug it in another Linux system, make an additional user with root privileges (visudo -f to specify the correct file), edit the ssh config file (/etc/ssh/sshd_config) to allow that user to connect (AllowUsers). Make a backup of the SD card first and don't blame me if it goes wrong  Wink

thats what i read on some forums but my linux skills is LOUSY !

hope someone finds a solution
1191  Bitcoin / Mining support / Reset Dragon 1.5th SSH password ? on: October 13, 2014, 03:44:09 AM
Hi guys,

does anyone knows how to reset the SSH password & username for dragon 1.5th miner ?

or even use some other interface or mining software instead of using their software to mine like minepeon. wondering is it possible ?

seems like lketc is not releasing it & saying that they have their reasons & won't be giving it out even if you decide not to buy from them.

want to have api access to the miner & updating the cgminer version to newer version as it is using version 3.9.0.

hope to hear some good news from the community.

thx.

ASICMINER has released their branch of cgminer:   https://github.com/blockerupter/cgminer

This branch supports both Tube and Prisma, you'll need AM's USB adapter to connect to your USB port. A random CP2102X usb to uart adapter might work as well if you can customize the adpater by adding a pull resistor to the TXD.

How to build:
  • ./autogen.sh
  • ./configure --enable-blockerupter
  • make

There's also a win32 binary here:
https://mega.co.nz/#!NY1FQbqB!4HFdFED73LbtrdNLU9ixJ-3asjmI1jhwc-7Qik9_x3w

How to run:
No extra command line parameters are needed. The Tube or Prisma will be identified as "BET" in cgminer.
Code:
./cgminer -o YOUR_POOL -u WORKER -p PASSWORD

spunds VERY good but a step by step for noobs ?

TIA Wink

S3:s cant handle this much stress theyre given from ckpool, they keep rebooting every now and then. Newer has it happened when mined on p2pool, or i havent noticed that. 3 of 4 have crashed in 13 hours..

Ive installed this cgminer to all of them http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s3/4.6.0-140908/cgminer

my s3's are fine, no problems hashing away. maybe you wanna try the 3334 port ?

mine are running stock FW from BM. so far so good here.
