1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How valuable BTC has become overtime on: September 15, 2023, 03:50:20 AM
I have never imagined that this is going to be an easy comparison for how Bitcoin has gone far for being an appreciating asset and how dollar is depreciating. The images that were posted just shows that if you've been a bitcoin believer and held until now, you didn't chose the wrong option but you should be proud of yourself that the quantities that you've been accumulating for a very long time is starting to see the fruits of it. Well, you can reward yourself if you have got that much of Bitcoin and buy that device if you want to, or keep on pushing yourself at the best to keep on holding it until we see another price appreciation which is likely for the next bull run just after the Bitcoin halving.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: I tired of Banks my experince with nyc high value Property on: September 15, 2023, 01:27:48 AM
They don't give you nothing they get profit and they don't help with innovation.
And speciaially the big ones what they do is just they want you to have a lot liabilities responsebilities and a lot things you need to pay.
I don't think so that they remain laggards with their business. In fact, they're even implementing and trying to innovate to keep themselves in line with what's the current trend today, thus there's the CBDCs. Well, as for that liabilities, there's a balance into their management and they know how to handle that.

And instead of providing money for business mind people like me they just don't care about what is the idea but all they want is me to pay them.
They do provide that for people like you but maybe you're not approaching them rightly or you're not eligible for the customers that they do help out to take loans. When you say provide money for you guys, they're a bank and a business and not a charity so basically you're obliged to pay them back if ever you're granted a loan request.

Yesterday i was talking with one of the biggest USA bank they told to me i have to put down minimum of 40% down payment for buy to rent Property purpose of loan.
We has discussion about one of the condos apartments in park Ave area and 56 west so there is best area.
First of all i said i will never Ever pay that kind of % for the mortgage that's insane.
Second point is the pieace of land and a lot of glass with concrete not worth that much of money i would take risk.
Third, point i asked the proper construction building assestment scheme so i will see all the faults in Property aswell and off course they refused.
But i know it's a crap and i'll make my offer that i want they are not gona sell to me their crap with most expensive price Im here to make money and earn profit not to be the one who will put all my time and efforts for nothing Im businessmen my purpose of existence is to earn profit
The high end Property been pumped up hyped up and im not going to be bag holder...i don't follow this nonsense story like If you buy value Property it Will always going up and you hedge so that's what the rich people do this what i say "...just because you are rich doesnt mean that you are strong on finances and money you could be easy food for the bankers.
You know what, you're asking to buy through mortgage and that's a policy from the bank that you have to pay certain amount for the downpayment. You should have just negotiated well on them because they might give you some better rates and DP for that property you're acquiring. And you're trying to talk with the bank so, you're at their mercy and you can't do anything with that.

My conclusion is i'll just make Even better money with staking smart way dca % cryptocurrency.
Compared to this, yeah, just DCA or stake or do whatever you want with your money because you've got more freedom doing it.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 14, 2023, 11:08:50 PM
While there are worse countries that don't listen to the outside world that Bitcoin won't harm them and their people, they just don't want to try something new even if there will be a raise of awareness into their regions. That's why you see the division of many countries because they believe to their only policies which they think is enough to compete against the other nations. But let us just put it this way, while many countries are very optimistic with the adoption of Bitcoin, making it as a legal tender or they have nothing against it so people are free to use it. We can't just change the fact that even with the positive progress in many countries that have adopted it, there will always go with the traditional believe and likely remain to be just as the hermit kingdom and not open on it.
1184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Was it my fault or not? on: September 14, 2023, 09:39:41 PM
Is this for real? It's kinda hard to believe that this has happened for real. But let us say that this is a real thing, didn't you said that bitcoin address is different from other crypto addresses? I guess that should have been one of the first things that you've said to your boss since you're the one introduced it to him. But wherever we're going with this OP, just like the others I am very skeptic with your story even if I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. I guess that you can't blame us if we're not buying the story that you've made/said.
1185  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit expects to exit UK market on: September 14, 2023, 06:39:40 PM
I think we have seen that happen first with some other major exchange that has been out of the UK market because of the policies that's been made to them.

I honestly expect more crypto exchanges to move out of UK to some crypto friendly territory.
Me either, the same goes for its neighboring countries wherein they could implement the same rules towards the crypto exchanges and entirely for the crypto market as a whole together with the users. Such policies are really game changers especially if they're favorable to the community but if not, they'll have to see the effect of it and who knows if they will alter that decision later on.

1187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: catex.io & dex-trade.com on: September 14, 2023, 10:32:57 AM
I'm only familiar because I've heard probably years ago about catex but never have used it. Those trust rating that these exchanges have got are poor and low. I guess you've got no other option but to dump that immediately and you're just looking for an exchange where you can sell them immediately. If you're going to sell that token, there are also other 3 exchanges where it's listed but they seem to be uncommon as well.
Is this the token you're about to trade? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/p2p-solutions-foundation/#Markets
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 03:59:52 AM
What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...
Well, it shouldn't be just us that should prepare for any economic consequence that will happen globally but since we're in a specific forum and majority of us here are bitcoin people. I think it's no brainer that everyone has to prepare for any major downturn economically and like saving as much as we can, and it is possible that many will have to sell their holdings if it turns out that they have no choice left but to sell their very last bitcoin even we're not yet in a bull run. Anyway, that's an event that's okay to sell those because if you have no other option and that's your major choice since minor ones won't help you to cope up. There is nothing that much that we can do, it's hard to stack up when you've sold already because you'll feel that you're cheated by the market of how it's going to be expensive soon. Personally, I'd lessen my spending into nonsense things although I don't know what nonsense spending I am doing right now since majority of my expenditures are all essentials. Maybe downsizing from there would be the start and adjustment.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 13, 2023, 11:29:07 PM
A simple question to those who are hoping to profit on the next Bitcoin bull-run:
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
My personal satisfaction to sell and when I think I need to sell, that's all just based on my feeling and also my needs.

in other words: how would you know we've reached the peak?
I wouldn't know that because at most times when I sell, there goes a higher price that comes but then it pulls back so that makes me satisfy that I've sold in a quite high price.

Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens?
Yes, I do have and that's why I'm saving a certain amount for that price.

Do you intend to sell incrementally as the price goes up? Or maybe when the price gradually drops (e.g. it goes down for X days in a row), indicating we're past the peak?
About determining the peak, it doesn't matter to me. As long as I'm able to sell at a higher price when I bought it or acquired it, that's already a win to me. And yes, I'd probably sell incrementally when the price keeps on going up but for a certain price, I've said that I have determined a quantity that it should be just sold on that particular price.
1190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another day to take caution of sim swap attack on: September 13, 2023, 10:11:57 PM
Why would people go for text message only which is also by default. Sim authentication is not safe. Use app 2FA or hardware security key for a better security.
Exactly, this is where most of those hacks through sim swap comes. Their 2FA is through their sim numbers and that's how these hackers gained access to them. Those that does it thinks that it's easy and safer because the 2FA code is sent over your network provider. But it has been proved for so many times that it's not and with sim swap, it can be taken by the hacker. Aside from 2FA through authentication apps, the email AUTH is also another option but this is not safe too especially if you've been using that email and you know that it has the same password of what you're using in many websites.
1191  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Huobi global rebranded name to HTX on: September 13, 2023, 06:12:46 PM
Thanks for updating, I don't use them but this is a move that's unexpected from them. AFAIK, they've got several branding for their own Huobi brand in different parts of the world just as Binance. But anyway, I've just notice the claim that every exchange tells to their customers for being the 'leading'. As the details are crystal clear, this means the partnership between them and Tron is quite big that it has to rebrand itself and put tron on its business name. Interesting, is tron back to its former style of marketing through partnerships or they've been partner for quite a while now?
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 13, 2023, 04:54:07 PM
What a coincidence, I've seen a post while I was browsing on social media about how much needed to buy the new iPhone 15 Pro Max and that states if it's in bitcoin that should be around 0.048BTC and it has also indicated the amount in other cryptos like ETH which was around 0.78 ETH. Now, we're seeing the true value of Bitcoin and if you guys have probably seen the grocery inflation/deflation of what can a bitcoin buy, we're already coming up to that era. While the goods are dealing with inflation and prices are going up just as these new releases of iPhones. Bitcoin is also having its own phase of deflation as it is having more value and purchasing power.

Unfortunately, i had iphone 5 but never had so much bitcoins. I was too young at that times
Lucky you are, I have never had my own iPhone. LOL.
1193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can I make a loan with collateral with small interest on: September 12, 2023, 11:14:32 PM
It is unlikely that you'll see a loaning service in your area to grant you with that type of loan for your collateral. I think what you can do is to have those things pawned and use the money and convert it to the crypto that you desire. Unlike someone from the lending section is nearby you and you're able to seal the deal but that's unlikely. So, maybe in the bank for your car and pawnshops for your gadgets and from there, you decide on how to use the money for buying bitcoin or usdt. But this seems to be just like as taking a loan for buying bitcoin but, in your case is that you're offering a collateral.
1194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I just purchased my first bitcoin on: September 12, 2023, 08:03:53 PM
Congratulations, that is for sure a genuine feeling after your very first purchase of Bitcoin and be consistent to all of what you've said if you're planning to accumulate more on a monthly basis or whenever you're available to.

I believe the amount of knowledge I have accumulated about bitcoin through this forum will strengthened my emotion not to panic when the market goes bearish.
It is not going to be easy if you experience the bearish moment of the market but you have to experience that and to see how you're going to react on it. But don't you worry for now because we're done on its cycle as of the moment and we're approaching the halving which is the indication that we're near in a bull run. Keep it up. Smiley
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Key Accelerators to bitcoin bull market on: September 12, 2023, 06:56:19 PM
6.US/ARGENTINE  PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: They might be out for themselves but what they do with bitcoin politically during campaigns and after campaigns can cause increase  since they are positive new bitcoin supporters.
I think that there is not that much change and movement with this factor for the price of Bitcoin. Or you can just come up together with this and the regulations. The effect that goes more with the regulations set by the government is more impactful. But since it's an election, words of the president or a candidate can also have some impact but at least for just that day until the promise will really be implemented and put into a law.
I remember that there's this US president candidate that has expressed his thoughts about Bitcoin and he's a supporter but he didn't win.
IIRC, that was Yang. We want someone like him in the government for more favorable laws about Bitcoin. But, if we're going to analyze the situation, at the end of it they are still politicians that makes promises just to get people's vote.
1196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake LOCK my account after WINNING 100K on: September 12, 2023, 12:10:38 PM
(...)

First, they have a announcement thread and basically you can ask them through that thread as well for handling this case of yours.

(...)

No you should not ask there, as that topic isn't for scam accusations, you can leave at this section and someone will address it if they have to.

I'm always forwarding Scam accusations from this section to Staff so they can be handled.

PS: I'm the one in charge of forwarding them, in case Staff misses these topics, therefore every Stake.com Scam accusation will be viewed / analysed very soon.
Hello Symphonized.
Thanks for that clarification, I'll take note of this whenever I see someone that has an accusation or complain about their accounts, I won't redirect them to your thread unless it's not really a concern of an accusation and it's more about your service. It's actually great that you've said this and replied on what I have said to clarify things that you guys are also active checking out these threads here.

Hello,

First of all thank you ! This community is amazing, you have all been very reactive and took my case seriously and for that i'am very greatful.

I hope my case get solved and that i manage to recover my money. They claim i have broken multiple times their "tos" and that they have "evidences" that suggest it.
Since i played from a restricted juridisction, i have no legal recourses and they abuse it.

I have been sending them proofs and they only seem to accept what suits them best while ignoring the rest of it. Now, every time I send them consistent evidence that strongly contradicts their conclusions, they ignore it and don't even reply...

Again Thank you all
A rep have noticed your thread and has already forwarded this to the team, you're able to get their attention and for now you have to wait for their response. Hopefully, they'll get back to you and able to address and solve your problem with them.
1197  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake LOCK my account after WINNING 100K on: September 11, 2023, 11:45:08 PM
Hello and welcome to the forum Lavafreez. I think that this case of yours should be taken with care not just by them but also you. Since it involves a huge money on your end and you probably can't wait any further with it moving on, so you have to take action and take the community's attention through this thread. First, they have a announcement thread and basically you can ask them through that thread as well for handling this case of yours.

I don't think i'am allowed to share any information that has been sent to me. I don't wan't to give them any excuse to retain my funds.
Much better to keep those details confidential as it's written on the disclaimer of the email. But I guess that's it, you have already shared it and everyone has already seen it. I have no idea if this is going to affect the withdrawal since you already were having problems taking it but hope so, this is going to get their attention.
1198  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Heartwarming as Binance donates $3 Million in BNB to it's users in Morocco on: September 11, 2023, 10:35:07 PM
Binance did another good job in helping Morocco in the times of need. They always do this and sends the aide that people needs when devastation like this comes. Whether people hate or like Binance, they're always been helpful and sending amounts for the sake of those affected people.
This gesture should be like the foundation of other big exchanges to help also in the times when they're needed the most. Or, it's just that they don't broadcast their help but also does their own charities and support to the choice of theirs.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest way to withdraw my money from Coinbase on: September 11, 2023, 09:14:36 PM
This isn't a topic to be discussed in the Bitcoin Discussion so you have posted it to the wrong board. Kindly move your thread to Service Discussion (Altcoins).

Hi, I would like to withdraw my coinbase balance.

Is Litecoin still the cheapest way to withdraw?
I don't use Coinbase so before you withdraw, check out the options during the withdrawal on which crypto is allowing you to withdraw cheaper including the fee.

And in case in the end I decide to withdraw my balance in usdt...I see that at the time of withdrawal it does not let me specify the usdt network...and the other exchange asks me to specify the network I am going to use to make the deposit...
So, this article was from 2021 and I haven't seen the most recent one so it seems that it only supports the ERC20-USDT.

Please note: at this time, Coinbase only supports ERC-20 USDT running on the Ethereum blockchain.
