121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Almost lost all of my coins in an exchange last week on: January 30, 2021, 03:12:47 PM
It could have been better if you share the name of exchange you are talking about here since you already take your coin out of the exchange. Firstly, everyone need to understand the reason why long time traders have been saying that it is not safe to live many of your coin in an exchange. This is exactly reason why. Secondly, the way you have explained, it could have been and inside job or probably a sort of vulnerability that have access to your personal informations. I will advise you to also make sure your email account password is change with a more secure one. Who knows the hacker might still have access.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with nonsignificant altcoins on: January 29, 2021, 08:06:53 PM
USD is better most people now trade crypto with stablecoin like usdt the reason is because of volatility so if you make 10usd profit it will remain 10usd compare to other trading pairs however unless otherwise, you will need to trade for other coin particularly now that withdrawal fee is high unless you can pay the fee. Apart usdt if you consider trading with other altcoin, it would be great to consider ETH and btc pair because I think ETH too is very strong so you can be sure that there will be little difference
123  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KRAKEN - COINBASE down!!! on: January 29, 2021, 03:29:44 PM
I think binance have make announcement as regard to that. Withdrawal were deactivated and users are not allowed to trade. They claim it was due to traffic congestion especially for new trader that want to sign up. I don't know how true is this but since no one has complain of their wallet getting tampered it so it is not due to hacking or anything. A lot of people are actually going crazy because of dogecoin Grin so maybe that is what makes binance to going down but everything seem to be normal now
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies to save off Bitcoin fees? on: January 29, 2021, 01:31:17 PM
My strategy only works if you intend to sell your token for fiat in your country provided that other ecurrencies such as perfect money is also available for exchange in your country. If your bitcoin is in your personal wallet, you will have to pay the block chain fee to get it send to an exchange. Once it is on exchange, trade it for TRX. Currently it very cheap to send TRX just 1TRX for withdrawal. Once you have done this, you will need to make use of p2p services that allow exchange of TRX to perfect money. Bestchange.com offer relay of trusted exchanger that offer such service. Some of them provide instant exchange of TRX to PM
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some DeFi Gems To Watchout For in 2021 on: January 29, 2021, 11:55:24 AM
From the look of things, it's quite true that many upcoming projects are looking in the DeFi ecosystem in other to bring decentralized finance, but also we should try and understand that not all will make it in the long run, many will just be around for a while, some will turn to pump and dump and others will just be dead sooner than later, however only few that have what it takes and knows what it means to be a DeFi project will make it big at the end, and we are already seeing that in many top Defi projects. Also, it is true that many upcoming DeFi projects will turn out good, hence the need to take out time and understand what majority of them  are actually working on and aiming to achieve.
I don't know about all majority of these aforementioned DeFi projects, but whichever you want to invest in, do well to carry out your own research, know the team's experience and their long term goals towards to growth of the platform, and also know how engaging and supportive the community is. Nevertheless, Reef looks like a good one, but I will need to do more study on it.
A lot of them already showing an exit scam. Seseral finance is one of them. The truth is that some people or group take advantage of trending projects to create a mirage of scam. While Defi was the talks of 2020, I really think the high transaction fee paid on ethereum block chain has been the major k leg. I've heard from project like kingswap making reference to l2 protocol as a means of reducing the fee but nothing substantial has been achieve and there is little or no hope that this will be achieve in the future
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 10:51:03 AM
That explains what bounty hunting really is, if it's a stable way if making money it should be called something else not bounty hunting, the word hunting means you have to thrive to kill a game or hit some valuable assets in the ground, it's never going to be a straight road judging from the name
We all know it is not a stable source of income and my post didn't state it either. It is bounty hunting with rules. Rules that are not made by the hunters but the team. It obvious that is the reason why some hunters call some project scam when they don't get pay because they don't follow the rules. Someone has talked about escrow which I think it is a great idea only if all the managers will accept to be doing that, however I'm looking toward to seen a workable solution thorough which hunters get fair reward of their  hard work especially when the project is successful
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 09:12:30 AM
I look backward and see a lot of challenge facing bounty hunters and I can only see that things will get harder. The mental stress of looking for the right bounty to promote, waking up in the middle of the night for several hours to complete tasks for months just to realized you won't get $1 for all your time.

It is another scenario when you discover that the project you promoted is doing great at the exchange market but you realized the team are refusing to give the reward of your labour or change the rules regarding the campaign just to make it hard for you to get your reward.

I think most of this project team see hunters as being toothless because they know the worst you can do cannot affect their project. They name you different names just to make you look like a fool in the eyes of investors.

Until there is a way to deal honorably with these team, hunters will continue to suffer
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future is still bullish. on: January 29, 2021, 09:00:51 AM
If there will be major correction, I know we are not going to see bitcoin go back below 20k this is because a lot of people are showing interest in bitcoin so everyone are looking for opportunity to buy at the deep. Also some correction we have seen after it goes back below 40k is increasing support by resistance at 30k. It is just a matter of time before we see btc go above 40k again and maybe before Q2 it will set another ATH. I've been reading about this Grayscale ish, it seem the current bull run has something to do about grayscale
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: January 28, 2021, 10:24:27 PM
Demand is getting high and people are getting to know more about the importance of bitcoin. A week cannot pass by without bitcoin trending on social media. The rate at which the price recovers when people take profit have also been great which means when the price go down again, people are ready to put money because they believe the price will rise again so I am very sure it will be hard to see bitcoin getting below 20k again. The worst that might happen is to fall below 30k to around 25k but going below 20k is not holistic especially at the moment that institutional investment is growing high
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: January 28, 2021, 08:25:58 PM
I think it is better to start thinking and making use of stop loss. If you will have to wait to do any of this thing you might end up losing more because bitcoin dump happen so fast so in that case you can minimize ur loss by converting into fiat however the challenge will be the extent to which the drop will be. Sometime, price drop rapidly because people take huge profit and rise back with time. When the price drop like this it creates a fear that make traders not to be sure of when to start trading again
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 08:20:28 PM
I'm going to share some mistake I made when I was very new in trading and hopefully you can learn from it. Firstly avoid taking or following signals that are being given in some telegram groups. These are coordinated signals that use you as a bait. Always have  a target and don't be gullible. Don't forget to use stop loss. It is very important particularly when the market crash. Avoid trading platform that will not warn you in case you mistakenly type and order which is not favourable. Lastly you can make sure to go for platform that have high liquidity and active traders
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 28, 2021, 08:14:06 PM
Obviously not sure the same way nobody was sure it will hit 40k last year January. However, the current bull run trend is an indication that the price might not fall very hard reason why I said this is because normally people take profit and sometime it get hard to recover back but this time the bitcoin is recovering greatly and we might see another ATH this year again. Maybe something close to hundred thousand. A lot of money is flowing continuously into bitcoin daily and many new interest is growing about investing in bitcoin than ever before.
133  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I am being mercilessly scammed by somone from the bitcoin world on: January 27, 2021, 08:51:04 PM
You are either receiving a phishing mail with aim of stealing your login credentials or a sort of mail that redirect to website build by scammers. You will see the bitcoin in the wallet but you will be asked to deposit in order to unlock it. If you fall for this, ur deposited fund is going. The scammer must have bought email niche of people trading crypto from hackers that is the reason why the mail appear as if they know you by calling your name on the mail.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We once had a barter system here, but the government smashed it on: January 27, 2021, 08:44:56 PM
Only if you understand that government can't actually eradicate bitcoin worldwide. You need to read the impact the bitcoin has made. Before, the tension was drawing about bitcoin and other crypto been ban in some countries especially China but up till date crypto is getting much more attention day in day out and the recent bull run has uncovered a lot of things. Don't be surprise if some countries start to create their own crypto asset because it was reported before that some countries in Europe are already doing this.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Should Not Buy Bitcoin with PayPal on: January 26, 2021, 08:47:41 PM
Of all the numerous places to buy crypto why would anyone prefer PayPal well.maybe for their customer that might have interest in crypto especially for PayPal that is know that they always block some accounts. It is very risky if anyone will put his or her bitcoin on PayPal platform. However, in an other way rounds, it makes some of their rival to consider also accepting bitcoin which also mean that bitcoin is getting popular everyday. With time more integration with other crypto and stablecoin will be also be considered
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert: stay away from new type of bitcoin scam on: January 26, 2021, 08:36:07 PM
In addition if you see post on telegram about users giving testimony please do not fall for it. They are the same set of scammers that comment so as to get people believe and scam them. I have recently witnessed this in a project call pools. They created a scam website call poolzreward and get numerous people scammed by method the op has described. If you don't know what to invest in it is better you keep your money rather than losing it to scammers. More ways to steal people funds are rising everyday
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 25, 2021, 10:11:19 PM
How poor are the poor. If you mean those who don't have access to shelter, foods electricity etc I would say to some extent it might not. To make use of bitcoin you need internet and education. Poor people don't have this. Secondly some people are not poor but deliberately don't want to get banked due to some reasons or the others. A lot of people that I know that even have education cannot simply comprehend what and how to send and receive bitcoin. Poor people need education and internet in order to use bitcoin unless there exist a tech that address this
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: January 25, 2021, 08:57:44 PM
Advent of crypto are now  making a lot of African grabbing and venturing into bitcoin a business that has become very lucrative hardly will you move a mile in Africa particularly Nigeria without seen any information regarding bitcoin trading. I will say it has created more job opportunity than what the government has done. Trading bitcoin giftcard are not only common but also the use to obtain some services such as buying airtime are increasing everyday. With time, I hope the government will.not see it as threat and come up with a reason to stop people from the business
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newegg, ebay crypto like store would be great on: January 25, 2021, 08:27:08 PM
Accepting crypto as a payment processor for online stores entails a lot of risk due to volatility and that is the reason why you hardly see anyone that will be accepting solely crypto. I know of newegg and also mb8coin tried awhile ago. Until the price of crypto such as bitcoin become less volatile, it will be hard to see ecommerce accepting solely crypto. How would you fee if you sell a phone and the price you accepted then has fall below the selling price. Who will bear the loss? You of course. You will have to compensate for the price if you want to stock your market
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If new projects can go through verifications too on: January 25, 2021, 08:22:24 PM
KYC means know your customer. You are their customer because you are the one patronizing them to invest in them. Probably you mean team must reveal their identity instead of using stock image or carton which is very rampant now. I believe many of them don't wanna give their identity probably because the project can end up being scam or mismanagement which might result in loss of investors money. However, when you see project with team that have traceable identity. Such project hardly turn to scam. The worst that will happen is to refund investors
