121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: December 22, 2022, 02:06:26 PM
It sounds so ridiculous for anyone to invest just because a coin is on the top list on cmc, that's the worst investment decision imo.
Invest in a project base on quality, standards and team, it can be a new or already existing project but it shouldn't be because of the top 100 list, the position is not permanent.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's highest amount you have earned from altcoin bounty? on: December 22, 2022, 01:50:31 PM
Alts bounties are both useless and profitable if you are able to get into a good project and also hold to sell at the right time. I have also had my fair share of good alts bounties that end up bringing good rewards only that i did not exercise patience enough to sell at the right time.
Truth is, if you are lucky to participate in a good alts bounty, it surpasses what you will ever get in a non-alts bounty for a decade. But such bounties are few.  Smiley
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thank god for bringing btc back in 2018. on: December 21, 2022, 03:44:00 PM
Fair price? there's no such fair price or fake price in Bitcoin since no one can control or manipulate it!

It is a fair price when you are able to buy it 75% to 80% cheaper than its previous ath, if not for the bear market you won't see BTC as low as its current price.
Those who know how to take advantage of the market always see the period as a huge opportunity for the next bull circle. It is left for any smart investor to either take advantage or seat back and watch.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First time of owning bitcoin on: December 21, 2022, 03:34:41 PM
I can't remember most of the things that happened back in my early BTC years, because I use to visit different faucet sites and other earning platforms so I am pretty sure I own my first BTC through a faucet or one of the earning sites those days.  So it is difficult to describe the feelings but am sure it was a good feeling. There are no regrets about holding btc at all.

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops campaign on gleam and other platforms. on: December 10, 2022, 06:34:00 PM
Shouldn't you be asking this question to the airdrop host both the project and gleam base on this?
If they have disqualified you base on this then that will be their way of preventing cheaters manipulating the process, adding a new account could seem like you trying to cheat, this is just my opinion base on your explanation but it could different with the airdrop host.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in this case? on: December 09, 2022, 08:15:15 PM
Alameda is no longer a preferred name in the crypto community this days so if you are holding any project supported by this people you would be helping yourself by dumping it and cutting your loses before it is gone from bad to worse.
It is unfortunate how greed has turned a strong VC into a big scam entity. See how they render ftx useless with their greed.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2022, 08:03:19 PM
The power of crypto and the reward of being persistent, never give up. Am glad to see you earning through crypto, achieving your goals slowly and most importantly becoming financially independent. I think majority of us can also relate to this story. Keep striving bro.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 08, 2022, 06:54:37 PM
it's just about how we can balance our time between our main job and work in crypto as a trader.
I also do both of these jobs well and in accordance with the portion of time for each job. Usually, I do crypto trading after finishing the main work. like 2 divisions of work time for the main job and the crypto job.
Nothing is difficult as long as you manage your time well so that you find the right time rhythm so that each job can be done to the fullest. I do
work in the company for about 12 hours a day and the rest in crypto.

It all depends on the nature of your job, if you have a demanding job, you will barely have enough time to eat let alone engage in trading crypto which is equally demanding and time consuming.
Am not a trader but I am working and I understand how tasking it can be if your job is a bit demanding. For someone to be able to do both successfully, it means their job is very flexible.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the bitcoin community currently trust Tether? on: December 08, 2022, 06:45:57 PM
I don't trust usdt or any other stablecoin claiming to be the best. To me they are all controlled by someone or group which makes them not trustworthy.
Although I used it now and then probably because it was the first or among the first stablecoin in the market.
Ever since I came to the awareness that usdt is not 100% fully backed, I try to limit my usage. Whenever the need arise, I change my assets to the currency am more comfortable with.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram plans own wallet and exchange on: December 07, 2022, 07:33:07 PM
This ftx collapse could also be a blessing in disguise, I mean after the incident we have seen how exchanges are going the extra mile to provide transparency to the general crypto community.
Now the emphasis on decentralization will increase because nobody wants to witness another disaster as that of ftx, so if telegram is planning to build a decentralized wallet and exchange, it is a good idea  if the crypto community will put interest to trade on the platform as they do in centralized exchange.
132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To save economy and value of money ww3 must start on: December 07, 2022, 07:21:15 PM
I don't think you need a war of that large a scale to "reset" the economy. Let alone a world war. With nuclear weapons active and raring to go ballistic I don't think the economy will be the least of your worries even if it does reset. The world will become unlivable, everything will perish. What good is an economy if everyone is dead? Please be mindful of your thoughts and don't impose radical ideas like that because it's people's lives that will be at stake. The fact that you could nonchalantly say we need a war is just absurd to me. War is never a good thing no matter how good it resets your economy lol.

What OP needs is a brain "reset" it will help bring him back to reality,  Cheesy
Who in their right mind will consider a world war to be the way to reset the economy from inflation? how does that help the situation or rather it will worsen it.
Hopefully, it will start from the OP's country lets how his country's economy will boom afterward.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 06, 2022, 06:56:29 PM
Liability and assets - Most people confuses with this concept for example they consider buying house is an asset while actually it's not unless it gives rental income.

What would you call buying a house for personal usage and avoid paying monthly or yearly rental fees? Is that a liability or an assets?
I definitely consider it an asset because I don't have to pay rental fees anymore, that money will be channel to other source of generating income. And don't forget the house value can also increase overtime depending on how developed the location becomes.
134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Indonesian ban on sex outside marriage affect businesses adversely? on: December 06, 2022, 06:36:20 PM
Indonesia's legislative arm has passed a new law that criminalizes sex before or outside marriage. People convicted of extramarital sex could face as much as one year in prison.
This law would also affect foreigners and tourists that came to visit the country. Some citizens of the country are protesting against this law. While others are seeing it as a welcome development.

Business owners in the country are lamenting that this law can discourage tourists from visiting the country which would affect their businesses negatively. I am also perceiving that this policy might also scare investors from investing in Indonesia. But some religious business owners are of the view that this policy would attract business to the country from other religious or conservative nations or investors.

What are your thoughts?

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-63869078

Yeah it will affect some part of their business that is somewhat connected to tourism because the tourists coming from other countries don't have such laws  and they are use to socialising in such ways. In this case, they don't have much choice than to adapt to the new laws if the government is not ready to make any form of amendment.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Coin losing its Value, What will happen to Public Funds on: December 05, 2022, 07:08:22 PM
Hello Guys just checking BNB coin, losing the support, and investors and people are predicting it may further fall, as Binance CZ is solely relying on BNB , what will happen if

1) BNB kept losing its value

2) Till How much value (you think) that BNB can sustain

3) What will happen to public funds, will there be liquidity issue if BNB falls to a certain level

4) What will be your way to save yourself if anything goes bad..

Please share your opinions ...

Your post is a replica of a useless FUD intended to create panic among gullible investors like you. How did you come.to the conclusion that bnb is losing value? Have you checked the whole market! Is bnb only the coin thatnis losing value?
My advice to you is sell you bnb before CZ will send you bankrupt ASAP.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the biggest marketcap of all coins - bigger than all coins mc combined: on: December 05, 2022, 07:02:51 PM
Hi guys, there is token called GELDC and it has the biggest marketcap of all coins
and if it gets listed at coinmarketcap dot com it
will be top 1 even in front of BTC and ETH and all the other low mc cap coins.

FYI (a gem in my eyes)

Unfortunately your wish will never come through.  Not natter how good the project is, it can't be ahead of btc. Lol, I doubt you understand what you are say. If the coin is a shitcoin (wish I suspect it is) the mc you are so excited about won't last long because such coins only have hype and nowadays a project needs more than just hype stay alive.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 04, 2022, 11:43:55 AM
If we take top market as one of the criteria for long-term investment then the Luna and ftx saga will affect several investors. I do agree on long-term investment because it is the most beneficial to gain the most profit.
It is important to know and understand the project you are investing into, after what happened with Luna and ftx, it becomes even more difficult to know which project besides btc  that is worth the long-term short.
Am having trouble trusting alts this day's, the only few I can see worth the trouble are eth, bnb, the rest looks untreated imo.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: How important is working experience, and can it be ignored? on: December 04, 2022, 11:29:27 AM
Definitely, working experience is very necessary in securing a job but the years of experience is entirely up to the hiring company to determine. Actually as you have already pointed out, some job don't necessarily need the long years of experience required by the company to effectively carried out, even with 4 years of working in a similar field is enough for anyone to work effectively given the opportunity.
Since there are not many jobs around, some organizations capitalize on it to gain bigger years of experience with minimal pay.

140  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: October 27, 2022, 06:10:20 PM
Speaking from a layman's perspective and seeing the utility of Gold, I think it will always be a valuable asset in all human existence (i would say). I mean there are several things that Gold is used for that will make it to be always valuable. Definitely not as valuable as btc in terms of price but no doubt it is worth holding long term.
