121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can Regulate crypto currencies in present Time ? on: November 19, 2021, 03:28:43 PM
Regulating crypto is not hard because other countries are already regulating it, they can just follow the standard but most especially crypto being regulated will become centralized due to KYC which is the main policy.
If it's not that hard, why other countries didn't regulate it as well? The answers always rely on a kind of government that every country has, it might be easy to others and might somewhat hard to most.

As for your question, it's impossible, there's no world government that has power to make decisions for other countries, crypto regulation will always be country-based.
122  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.com what is it? on: November 19, 2021, 01:42:07 AM
Hello guyz I don't know if this topic has already made, but my curiosity brought me here.
center]
Yes, lots of times already  maybe hundreds of thread asking same question ever since that .com domain was made.

Is that the Bitcoin.com is the First forum made by Satoshi or what?  Or this is another forum made by someone?
You could google this easily and you can get more answers in just a couple of seconds though.

The only websites related to satoshi is bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org, you can see the domain extension is not using .com coz he is not selling or offering service as commercial to anyone.

The very first forum was actually in sourceforge which was you linked that is inaccessible right now then moved on this domain. The .com domain is different and was bought by someone then bought by roger ver, up until now he still the owner IIRC. And bitcoin.com is not a forum.
123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need help to receive payment from USA on: November 18, 2021, 08:09:54 PM
What's the reason of him (his salary) being blocked by the central bank? What I knew is they will only do that if they suspect illegal activities from the user/person's account such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and etc.

  • Find a trusted buyer here in the forum and get a deal to receive the paiement every month and send me btc or any other major crypto.
So what's the deal? You will require the buyer (you're looking) to be the one to receive the payment from your friend's company? Is it possible that the name of the employee and its bank account's name is different?

  • Suggestions about how to receive a PayPal payment without having a paypal account.
Technically not possible, but through p2p deals like what you're looking for is the possible way I can only imagine.

AFAIK paypal supports Tunisia, check https://www.paypal.com/tn/webapps/mpp/home
124  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmain.shopping Review For A Scam Website | Be careful it is a SCAM on: November 18, 2021, 07:21:07 PM
Google is goint to erase it from serps when someone send them a denunce. I can't find the link but I know it's possible to alert about scam sites to search engines
Yes, google have full control over their serp, anyone can just report scam/malware websites to google as phishing/malware/spam etc. For reporting phishing websites, here's the link https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/

125  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmain.shopping Review For A Scam Website | Be careful it is a SCAM on: November 18, 2021, 02:15:31 PM
I shouldn't have to say that bitmain.shopping is not the real bitmain.com site, but I am gonna mention it.
They should be labeled as a fake or phishing website of bitmain as they are using the same logo, even their about us page telling that they are the company behind bitmain whch is obviously false.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can people in Afganistan use crypto? on: November 18, 2021, 01:47:25 PM
So what's the deal with 3rd world country people not having passports or ID cards though? I'm genuinely curious.
Is that a thing in 3rd world countries?  I was thinking it is just that some KYC services do not recognize local IDs for a number of countries and ask for passports instead.  That may be even more valid for countries in which it is easy to produce or obtain counterfeit documents.
Not sure about this, the country I reside is also a 3rd world country but have kind of any ID that exchanges required such drivers licensed, passport, though national ID is not that fully used here as its only new introduced.

Also what's a good and cheap enough phone that you can buy in Afganistan to play axie infinity
There are many cheap new phones today already, e.g. xiaomi (flashing new rom is recommended tho) redmi series are good esp.the latest one.

128  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Are they really stealing people's BTC? on: November 17, 2021, 05:39:34 PM
But what I'm seeing on this sub is a lot of people claiming coins simply disappear from wallets.
Most of those cases are due to user's actions, either they upload there seed online that someone got access to it, hacked their device (desktop/mobile phone), phished, then acquired their holdings and etc.

Some are just display bugs or server errors. While there are other cases that users can only accused their service or somewhat as inside job as stealing their coins, coz even though we were told that "blockchain.com don't have an access to users wallet" still there's no 100% proof for that. Though the app/website is somewhat open-source, as per said above source codes can be changed without no one's knowing.

That's why mostly don't recommended to use their wallet or any online wallet coz of risks of hacking, stealing and etc. If anyone want to have a peace of mind use electrum or any trusted hardware wallets such ledger and trezor instead.
129  Economy / Services / Re: I need a marketplace to buy a large amount of Crypto on: November 17, 2021, 09:45:23 AM
If binance don't accept your country of residence then (I guess) most exchanges will do the same.

Your best bet is do P2P exchanges like localcryptos and Bisq, kyc isn't required at least. But the thing is it has lower volume due to lower number of users trading these exchanges, but its worth a try.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US President New Restrictions on Crypto Businesses on: November 16, 2021, 08:32:27 PM
Quote
"The new infrastructure bill signed by US President Joe Biden includes a crypto language that makes it easy for the IRS to bring transparency in crypto tax reporting"
...
What they mean is that they want to be able to control everyone and everything and so they need to track everything.
Heck, that's how government works for you.

This part of the article was what interested me the most, reporting digital asset transactions above $10,000 means it is being viewed as a fiat where all transactions are monitored and it can only work if the transaction happens over a regulated exchange which contains the user information and is legally required to submit it when required.
Yes, there has lots of discussions about this months ago since the bill got released, exchanges (e.g. coinbase) will ask as required to fill an IRS form related to it, like normal quarterly/annual submitting tax related info to the bureau like it's a huge nuisance for every transaction.

But good thing this will come to effect on 2024 and I see no reason that is the main cause for the correction.
131  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Problem with Blockchain.com on: November 16, 2021, 06:54:20 PM
Since there is higher chance you can recover your coins, as what mentioned above you can get more $$$$ if you claim other bitcoin forks using the private keys of your bitcoin.

You can follow these steps on how to get those, following security measures too LoyceV's Bitcoin Fork claiming guide (and service)
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Question on: November 14, 2021, 11:11:11 AM
You can just sync your metamask from desktop/browser to it's mobile app through its sync feature (QR code scan) which is more secured than just importing your private keys there.

Check
1. Install MetaMask mobile at MetaMask.io.
2. Open the MetaMask mobile app and select ‘Sync or Import’ > ‘Scan QR code’.
4. Log into your MetaMask extension
5  Click Settings > Advanced > Sync with Mobile. You’ll see a QR code.
6. Scan this QR code with your MetaMask mobile app (see step #2).
133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with a exchange that has lowest fee on: November 14, 2021, 10:13:24 AM
If you're not in hurry, the best way is looking someone in this forum to trade with you, you can create new thread in this board Currency exchange. Look their reputation, feedback, and history before sending a coins.

Using escrow is recommended but since it's small amounts, the fees will only took up your money...
Is it still the same thing? It's just that the other party will shoulder the high fee in eth which I don't think s/he will agree, not unless s/he's so generous, but who knows.

What's your reason why you dont want to use other usdt chain while it will benefit you the most.

To OP I can only suggest is to wait til eth fee will go down which I dont think it will happen too soon, OR just use other USDT blockchain like TRC or BSC.
134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Binanace Stuck My withdrawal on: November 14, 2021, 09:42:48 AM
Binance sent the transaction with a low fee, which didn't confirm. Then they made a new transaction b with a higher fee, and you thought it was done. [...]

If that's the case, Binance did a royal f*ckup not moving the original inputs before replacing the transaction.
Yes, this might the case, as what the binance team trying to contact the doge dev a year ago base on the twitter thread I have linked above.
And now, it seems like they totally blamed their users for their fault and want some compensation as they required those affected users to send the doge back. Lmao. They should be ashamed for themselves.
135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Binanace Stuck My withdrawal on: November 13, 2021, 04:51:25 PM
So you just deposit dogecoin on binance and withdraw it some time, and then they're telling you right now that you should return those coins that as if its theirs. Do you get negative balance?

How much do you owe them now? If that was 7 months ago then that was the ATH month of doge.

I never thought that they will blame you and even charge you for the mistake they made. This seems the case...
4) Yesterday we were notified that previously stuck transactions (insufficient fee) had suddenly relayed successfully, post 1.14.5 update - likely because minfees have been lowered in 1.14.5...

Which maybe your withdrawal transaction was included. Binance should be responsible for this and apologize.

What you can do is to wait until they make an announcement since you're not the only one experienced such issue.

Maybe service discussion suits the thread/topic not on scam accusations.
136  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Please suggest on saving fees on Trustwallet on: November 13, 2021, 02:58:14 PM
Can you please share link of CMC converter page link, as I was not able to locate it on my PC or screenshots.

I just want to know, for EG.. while swaping BNB with CAKE what price I am paying for CAKE in USDT
Check https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pancakeswap/, there's CAKE to USD converter there or vice versa. CTRL+ F and paste "Converter", you can find it.

USDT or USD doesn't matter, stable coins are based on USD anyway.
137  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Please suggest on saving fees on Trustwallet on: November 13, 2021, 02:28:01 PM
1. Does this means I am paying extra fees.......first I paid for converting BNB to USDT, then while swaping I again paid fees to ROUTE USDT - BNB - My TOken
Yes, you can see it on the confirm page that there is a fee before you confirm the swap, if nothing shows then there's no fee for the swap of the particular token/coin on BSC.

1. Should I stop this converting BNB to USDT.
If your purpose is just to check the usd price of the swap, and if it matters to you the cents for fee, then better stop.

2. Is there any way to calculate and to know , while swaping BNB to My TOken what USDT price I am paying for that token?
AFAIK there's an automatic computation in the swap page every time you change the number in the "You Pay", the "You Get" will give you a hint on how much you will get and check the conversion of the token to usd in coinmarketcap (their converter is in the lower left side in desktop mode) website as trustwallet uses cmc for their pricing conversion.

138  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has Anyone Gotten Robinhood wallets yet? on: November 13, 2021, 03:49:29 AM
I'm on the waitlist for Robinhood wallets, has anyone gotten the wallet yet?
Once I get access, my 1 bitcoin will be transfer to Celsius where it will start earning me interest.
I will not utter the risk of using exchange coz you obviously dont have control over the funds there which you should knew before using such platform, other than using a non-custodial wallet, but can you share how many % you will get from the interest per month/year?

How much profit you will get from them compare to the profit you will get if you just hold that 1 btc to a cold wallet and then get back after months or a year.
139  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Wallet- Google verification code not coming through on: November 13, 2021, 01:33:56 AM
Google Authenticator doesnt seem like a good idea..It has no security measure for accessing the code. You just open the app and there it is...So, if I lose my phone or it's stolen, any accounts attached to that app could be compromised...
Almost every app has PIN Security, or your device security (app lock) can do the work.

When setting up every app's 2fa you should backup the secret keys for your main backup as I don't know if google auth has ways to recover if ever your phone got break or lost. That's why I used authy, coz that feature wasnt implemented yet when I used google auth way back the years.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When TRON (TRX) will be pump on: November 12, 2021, 02:45:42 PM
Almost all cryptocurrencies have been too much pumped but why not Tron??
It's a few days ago.

But today, look at the market and everything is turning to blood. A very usual market that we're seeing here and I think by Monday, we're going to see the market recover again.

Nobody knows why Trx isn't doing the same as the others.
Probably OP trying to express this in general, that most famous cryptocurrency already pump so much whereas tron just pump a bit or not at all.

One reason is Justin just promoting nonsense for tron (for me) without having improvement of the project and just squandering money to other projects not on tron, many existing crypto moved already to other blockchain or use other blockchain aside eth due to their advantage, but I didn't heard about some move to tron network. Besides, trx is not well accepted on most cryptocurrency exchanges than its competitions, so...
