121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I’ve been robbed by Binance ! Never again will I use them on: April 21, 2021, 08:42:46 PM
Binance is no bueno so i will be trading elsewhere now. What is the best place to buy DOGE that’s not coinbase?

Did you buy DOGE just because it is hype? Did you buy DOGE and trade it with leverage on Binance's Futures Market? If any of the two is a yes, then I guess it isn't really the Binance's fault, but rather on your end. Binance, so far based on my experience, hasn't had any issues with trading Doge or any other coin. Maybe you bought at the price where it is too high, or you bought at the point where it is on the real-time bullrun. Therefore you could really have issues with it as their platform can still get network and order congestions.

~

Wala namang issue guys if pagsabayin nyo. Here's my little advice na sinabi ko rin sa kaibigan ko recently na may same ideology and problem ngayong pandemic na kagaya sa OP. Medyo hahabaan ko ng onti so please spend a little patience to read:

If you are in doubt with your self whether kung anong future ang tatahakin mo, then spend a little time alone like embrace your nightmares. Hindi mo naman pwedeng hindi isipin and bigla nalang magdecide out of your "wants" and dahil kumportable ka sa tingin mo if andon ka na. Remember, it takes both money, time, and effort, and even near death struggles, just to achieve success. If you really want trading, why not start to discipline yourself first? Start from challenging yourself to spend atleast this specific hours just to do your studies, then achieve certain goals and tasks sa araw na iyon then sa gabi is your trading studies. Yes, you might find yourself exhausted. But that's the point. Time management plus self discipline wouldn't really be enough. You know what could make every actions enjoyable?? Motivations! Maybe you are burnt out in ur current situation. But look at the bigger picture, yesterday ok ka motivated ka gumawa. Di naman masama kung pati ngayon ibalik mo muna yung motivations mo mainly on studies then on your dream right?

I'm not onto studies sa totoo lang and ako din college na naghihirap dahil nag solo nako sa buhay. But seeing others na sumuko bothers me. Cheerup dude! Study at morning, trade at night! Grind lang nang grind, diba?

123  Other / Meta / Re: Confused- Should I report it as off topic or not on: April 21, 2021, 07:51:46 PM
Referring to this post- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631891.msg56822758#msg56822758

In our local thread, one user posted about ongoing issue with ESL (European Super League).
In the local thread, we usually discuss about crypto. So, based on that perspective, this is offtopic.

However, in the gambling discussion section, there are few threads in which people discussing about the same. From that perspective, this is not an offtopic post.
What do you think?

I could simply report the post and explain in report note but I have created this thread to share that discussion in a single thread is impossible and a separate board is very much needed.

You should open a topic where you would demand an off-topic or Others section on your local thread. In that way, they can still talk about such things but would not affect the actual section for the crypto related topics. Some topics can also be correlated to crypto such as "how does the ESL affect our crypto" yada yada. Therefore, it isn't really an off-topic per se, but rather a topic which can be correlated to the cryptospace.(somehow)
124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet, Stake or Sportsbet - Which is best? on: April 21, 2021, 07:22:28 PM
The crypto sportsbook game looks to now be dominated by three clearly superior sites; Cloudbet, Stake or Sportsbet. There are other good sportsbooks around, but these three are on another level in terms of promotions, usability, customer service etc.

But which of the three do you prefer and use yourself? Or is there another sportsbook you prefer?

The biggest problem arising with the big boys is the slow creep of KYC and other regulations. The lack of these regulations is obviously a huge positive of crypto gambling in general so is the detriment of these sportsbooks to lose that.

I did write this to show the differences between the three - https://bitedge.com/blog/cloudbet-stake-and-sportsbet-are-lightyears-ahead-of-the-rest/

If you're struggling to pick give it a read and it may offer some clarity.

They all have the same outcome to what would be your experience. What make one withstand with another is that it's interface are way preferred by the other users. Honestly, there's not enough reason not to dislike nor not use any of those choices. I personally prefer sportsbet just simply because how I personally like their website and how I could easily place bets on my preferences. But since we aren't the same device nor same liked looks of a website, then you might find it either a 2nd or a 3rd.
125  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Simple Website Payment System on: April 21, 2021, 06:41:42 PM
Is the cryptocurrency website payments solution market saturated? Is there space for a simple free plugin to help small shop owners or do sellers prefer established plugins? Will a new simple plugin be appreciated?

Available cryptocurrency plugins work in different ways to get the same results. I've modified an existing script for Electrum that pulls transactions data then exports it to databases. If there's interest I'll share for free when it's ready with a guide for installing.

It's a basic script for accepting Bitcoin when customers get to checkout. It might help small online shop owners because there's no processing fees so shop owners keep 100% of what they receive from customers.

With the current fees of Bitcoin, I don't think that it would be cheap using it as a payment solution. It is really not that hard to create your own wallet to receive tons of transactions just on that single wallet that also requests exact amount as what the customer must pay, and that is already enough to fulfill small time shop owners. I've known some of my locally supported wallet that they doesn't really have any percentage of the transaction at all and I guess having another script just for a small business would not really be necessary

127  Economy / Services / Re: Excel Formulas Wanted on: April 19, 2021, 01:25:06 AM
Is there a specific time frame for this project @eddie13? As in, you want this to me done ASAP (which I can't compromise) or you are willing to wait a while (say 2-3 weeks)? The reason that I'm asking is that I would be really interesting to know more about your goals because I probably will be able to help you out in some way or other (either by programming or by using formulas).
Let me know if you're interested in this offer or not (by either here or by PM). Excel is a powerful tool that most of the time have simple solution to some problems and I don't want people to charge you a ridiculous fee for a work that may (or may not be) that much work.

I think someone that knows what their doing could do this in like 5 minutes..

May I know your Telegram? For a convenient mode of communication. I am currently trying to code a cell to save and export your file. Shoot me a PM in tg @Insanerman or just here in this forum. Lastly, may I also get a copy of your file so I can already try it on your format, for both familiarity and application. Thanks! I think i can finish this within this day.
128  Economy / Services / Re: Excel Formulas Wanted on: April 18, 2021, 01:18:27 PM
Anyone good with making excel spreadsheets more automated and want to make some satoshis, let me know..

I basically want to enter 0800 in the time start box and 1600 in the time end box (military time) and have that port to a couple other boxes as 12 and some others as 8 and 4 (if>8 put 8 and remainder 4 into OT box) for straight time and overtime..
Dates need to populate a few boxes too..

Shouldn’t be too complicated..

If this works out then we will probably also like to port some boxes from this daily worksheet into a separate job cost tracking worksheet..
Maybe more..

I really wanted to try this out, but I'm a little confused with what "have that port to a couple other boxes as 12..." means. If you would let me try this, then I'll send you an output within the next 24 hrs and if I were to get the thought right. There's nothing to lose if I were to try it right? Kindly send me a PM in TG @Insanerman . Thanks!

Good day, Hhampuz!

I'll take this opportunity to tell you this early that I am posting this as a request to change my Segwit BTC address to be used for the following weeks or months if possible. I had issues with fees in my current wallet hence wanted it to be changed for the better

Past Address: bc1qm37rfv3mftsnqjmxkgnr0r3na04dguanx5vdwl
New Address: bc1qggzp3zu0l023zxuc6wq9dgns8sln95qfhrq83v

If changing the address isn't possible, then it's really fine for me. Also, if I could ask, what does "Spread out your posts more." really mean?

Thank you!
132  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: April 15, 2021, 09:13:03 PM
On the other hand, medyo risky padin ang masyadong mag-invest NGAYON rito. I don't know if you noticed pero nasa peak na ang mga price ng NFTs nito. Overpriced na ang tools kasi super dami na ng demand, yet the price remains lower than it's opening price sa Binance. Why? I'm not a hater of this pero medyo overrated yung larong to.

Newcomers to this must consider searching for newer games, kasi in the end mas malaki ang risk sa kanila dahil nasa peak na sila nagcommit sa AW.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: April 15, 2021, 08:41:29 PM
Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN , please suggest

https://talkoncrypto.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=35

Both COIN and other crypto in general has their own risks. Why not invest on both? If I were you, I would invest most of my capital or atleast a minimum of 90% on crypto that is currently on dip or those that have a high chance of growing and 10% on COIN. Despite of being popular and strong, COIN is a token for an App, and once that app would have huge problems such as being hacked or had an issue with transactions, then expect a huge decrease on your investments. By the time that you COIN were doubled, there's a bigger chance that your crypto grew even more than 10x.
134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 15, 2021, 08:09:55 PM

Hi there!

I’m quite new into trading of any sort. I started by shorting BTC when price was trending down. I made some profits and then I lost it all... several times.

Besides potential gains, I love all the knowledge on markets and economics I’m getting by experimenting.

I’m not looking to be a full time trader. I just want to do one or two trades per week focusing on modest gains but low risk.

For example: I though that trading on the first minutes of an IEO was a safe option. But after reviewing how previous Launchpad projects went on the firsts minutes I does not looks like a low risk strategy at all.

So my question is: Is there such thing like low risks strategies? If yes, what could be an example of that?

Thank you!

Risk only 1% of your capital! That's the lowest and safest strategy you can apply especially on trading in markets such as Margin and Futures. You can use Cross mode with your 1% and even make the leverage to the highest point possible. BUT, always set your own Take Profit price as well as a certain Stop Loss for a price that you can afford to lose. If you would spot trade or swing trade, you can use up to 50% of your capital yet set stop losses near your entry point.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest competitive eSports? Do you ever place eSport bets? on: April 15, 2021, 07:38:21 PM
Really? Dota is still a thing? I thought it was completely repplaced by LOL. I played Dota during the glory Warcraft 3 times. Is it now stiill integrated in the Warcraft universe or is it now independend like LOL?

REALLY? Despite of being popular of DotA's tournaments, being covered by tons of news on both traditional media and social media, and its constantly growing community, you are not aware that it is still a thing? DotA cannot be replaced by LoL, not by an inch. Its complexity remains difficult and strategies uncountable. Yes, Warcraft remains its lore of course. What only changed is the graphics and the overall gameplay. Go check it out again!

I often place bets on DotA. 5% of my profit goes to betting on a team that would play in near days and seemed to have a chance of winning (obviously). Betting in it is still popular tho, that's why there are still platforms for eSports betting that hasn't ever closed on operating.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to Poker on: April 15, 2021, 07:06:47 PM
Hey guys,

what do yout think about a new game, which involves both luck and skill like poker? Is there already such an alternative on the market? The problem with poker is that it is already solved by algorithms. Sure, there are still some players, but not as much as in the old glory times...

Edit: I'm just regarding games that you can play PvP and not against a house-edge-casino.. Wink

There would be no alternative to poker in modern online gambling casinos nor will have one. Poker itself is indeed somehow a small percentage predictable, yet the chance are waaay small and riskier than you losing a game. If ever that some poker alternative were developed, would you think it would be the same poker and have the same satisfaction as we used to have in playing it? No right? Also, it is ironic to imply luck and combine it with skill. If you are skillful, you cannot really be called lucky. If you are lucky, you are not really that skillful. Is there someone that both is lucky and skillful? I guess there's none.
137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Beginner's Forum Journey on: April 15, 2021, 06:03:39 PM
Please tell me the correct order to start with. Can you recommend a bitcoin wallet that's good enough to use and compatible with mobile? Someone told me Electrum, is it really the recommended wallet?

This might be a deep and unique suggestion, but I would still want to ask you. Why are you back? if you were back, make sure that you have some goals to reach and some things to learn. It is really hard for anyone to maintain motivation and returning in this forum now requires strong dedication on both "contributing" and learning.

With regards to where should you really start, in technical terms, kindly read all forum rules and newbie suggestions that you can locate either on Meta or Beginners and Help. Then post and reply only on things that you have idea with. Yet, if you don't really have any idea then be free to reply but with a sense of a good questioning. With regards to wallet software on mobile, I prefer using Trust Wallet. It is simple and supports tons of crypto.
138  Local / Pamilihan / Re: TapSwap - AMM/DEX on BSC na gawang Pinoy on: April 15, 2021, 05:27:10 PM

139  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Possible ATH ng isang coin, paano malaman? on: April 14, 2021, 06:52:11 PM

This is accurate and effective ONLY for short term projections. Kumbaga nearest High price or pede ding gawing basis for your first Take Profit price. Yes, di to accurate especially if you would compute and base your computation in years past circ supply of a coin. Kasi it's obvious na tumataas ang circ supply the more the people adopt it. If i may ask you, what is the nearest ATH sa time na kinompyut mo?

Yes. This is only part of fundamental analysis, which is required on having a solid analysis of a coin. Yung dalawang need pa is Technical and Sentimental Analysis. Hence, this could only apply both for short term purposes and plain "prediction".
140  Other / Meta / Re: New report feature? - Good, bad, unhandled reports on: April 14, 2021, 06:20:37 PM
I didn't remove it and can't see any reports on it either but it's obvious that zebedee's shitpost was removed and therefore yours was as well.

Actually, this is my first time knowing that even you reply with sense and related to the main topic's idea yet what you quote is pretty straightforward off-topic. I thought that all deleted posts were mainly because a person's off-topic reply. Thanks for the idea hilarious, as always.

With regards to the OP, AFAIK it was already there the time that you gained either any of the criteria of reports. If I reported one bad, then i could see that I had one, then the rest follows. Definitely not a new feature as for what I can remember, yet a feature that must also be optimized. If ever that admin could see this, I guess it is also a good feature to let other people know how good and accurate a user's report is. Trust defines how a person can be trusted, and I guess Report Accuracy would define how a user helps maintain the good posting of the forum.
