It's simple but need time. Writing constructive, creative, high-quality posts, then you will get merits sooner or later. The most important things is be helpful in the forum to help others solve their problems, or at least give them hints, links for more details, etc. Furthermore, merits will be given for high quality posts, but it's also a game of probability. Therefore, you should not pay too much attention on merits, just keep being helpful, you will get merits in the future for sure. Don't worry about merit points.

It's possible, but it can be avoided if theymos decide to pick people who want to volunteer instead. There's some people who actively combat spam and theymos could recruit them.
I think volunteerism is not enough to be appointed as a moderator. Some people only shows an act of volunteerism in order to gain reputation and later behaves like a scumbag. There should have a screening tool maybe when appointing a moderator just like becoming of a merit source. |

I am always willing to help and back up people in our local board especially if it is part in furtherance of growth in the Philippines local board. However, all I can do is to assist, inspired, and tell others about what we can do to our community, not the decision-making person (theymos endorsement - that is awesome).

Merit source is not a Celebrity stuff that you need to be famous to be qualified as one. When I am finding posts that are merit worthy, I end up reporting plagiarism case, which I can see that being a merit source is not that easy. You need to find more quality posts that are not plagiarize. Amidst this shitposter spree, I appreciate what our current merit source are doing – having the time to find quality posters (Good Job guys!).
These members are so hungry to receive merits pushing them to create a long high quality plagiarized posts. and I see a lot of them and it is sad that few of these people comes from our own country. I think I should be making a post regarding the increasing cases of plagiarizing content in our local this might confuse people which/ what posts should be merited, I don't want these merits to fall in quality plagiarizer peoples. Welcome kabayan! Well it is just my opinion and I just stated what I see because of your actions. It just amazes me on how others followed you because of your vision and great thinkings. Am I the only one who notices that when you talk in the forum, people always listen to what you are talking about. Wow this is a great solution by now. Which manager made this innovation? It should be appreciated by all of us especially all of the bounty managers, because it is their job to control their "workers".
btcltcdigger is the only bounty manager I have seen so far when it comes Google form type of reporting in Social Media and Publishing Articles. I think in order to reduce the amount of spamming in bounties section, the use of Google Form when submitting bounty reports should be included in forum rules. Their report will be invalid if they do not report using google forms. the problem is, what will be the punishment when they do not follow the rules? |

1. Images fade in/out extremely slowly, leading the captcha to take up to several minutes to solve, potentially failing entirely.
2. Captcha challenges run into 5+ steps, whereby completing and passing each stage takes you to more than 5 stages before finally providing the verify button, often which actually causes the captcha session to refresh and waste my time further.
I think the main cause of having an extremely slow fading in/ out of captcha is the internet connection. When I am using mobile data in my android phone and when I am away from Wi-Fi connection, solving captcha is so slow like a turtle, it takes more than 2 or 3 minutes before I can successfully log in to my account. This is also the same when you are using Onion browser. |

This is inaccurate! There are lots of scam accusation to tokensuite, most of the bounty they manage turns out to be a scam project, many of the bounty hunters who spend their time advertising does not receive their token payments SAD  . I also wonder why Sylon receives a high rating even if the bounties he previously managed didn't pay the bounty hunters up until now. He also receives another 60 Bitcointalk Ban period due to an accusation that he is incentivizing post.  |

I've seen that one of my concern fellow citizens finaleshot2016 made a thread about this issue in our local board but seems like we're still having no response from our respected Mods. Maybe they're just busy but they should have responded to it already by now. Looks like they don't want to resolve this problem that we member were facing. A simple response of their reasons will be enough but still waiting for any actions. I feel like our local board is being deserted by our local moderator. Moving, locking and deleting threads is not enough to make some improvements. Are they responding to PM's, maybe it's not (that is why OP is posting here) We deserve a 2 way communication process. An active participation is enough.  |

Our ways of motivating others will not affect those bitcointalk users whose account is high - ranked. I am graduated in doing social media bounties, as I don't have enough much time in doing it right now. But, using a third party website or tool will just make your social media prone to hacking/ vulnerabilities. Manual copy pasting of the link in the note pad is much better right after the retweet or post.
For some people your suggestion might be useful for them.
