1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 22, 2023, 10:16:20 PM
Congratulations, what a great achievement that you've got there!

It's truly a roller coaster ride for you just as how the market works but you never gave up too quick because you know that believing and continuing what you've started in bitcoin is going to be paid off.

And here you go, you've finally achieved that goal and that's even based on your username. Now, it's time for you to set another goal and reach another highs.  Cool
1222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when....... on: March 22, 2023, 08:36:14 PM
How do you feel when ever a project or utility you don't like does very well in a bull market? I know that many people don't like meme coins when they were new in past years
That's okay, we all have our choices and the preference in investing. So, if they're making their way and making profits from it then congratulations to them.

how do you feel seeing your friends you call stupid for investing in shiba does very well than all your so called high-quality projects?
I don't invest in shiba but I'll give bitcoin as the example because in reality, I've experienced that people mocked me because I've told them that I am a bitcoin investor.

And from there, I stopped talking to them anything related to investments and bitcoin and I just mind my own business right now.
1223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 21, 2023, 11:58:06 PM
Will you dare take such a gamble if you have the money? 🤑🤑🤑
Nope.

I'm good and I'll just use that money to buy more bitcoin instead of gambling it while it's not going to cover all the amount for buying bitcoin. I'll spend it in many ways as I can and enjoy with it.

That guy is just doing it to make a trend and make himself popular. I really, really doubt bitcoin reaches $1 million in 90 days
I also have my doubt but that's plausible that he's capitilizing the moment so that all eyes are on him. And that's the more possible thing and that is to make himself famous while we're seeing the price of bitcoin going up.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 21, 2023, 11:01:05 PM
They need to generate sales and that's why they've been said on how to promote their business. But, it's true that if the marketing is misleading then it should be stopped.

There are still influencers that are honest, giving honest reviews and marketing and warning that it's not for everyone. And money makes the world go round and that's why we can't dictate people to stop promoting them in a wrong way because they're paid to do so.

It's known that greed is normal for human beings and that's why they're showing tremendous gains and not their losses because it's part of the strategy to attract more gamblers go to them.
1225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Diversified accounts for children on: March 21, 2023, 10:10:12 PM
That's actually a good plan but don't forget to have yours as well because you're the one that's funding them. It means that you shouldn't forget about yourself while stacking up those sats on all of their accounts.

Create for yourself and that's why you're working and stacking for them, to have a good life and you're not exempted with that. You need to reward yourself and with that long period, you're not in a time deposit so don't forget too that you can sell anytime as you wish when the perfect time of making profits has come.
1226  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [blockchain.com] Restoring Account Failed, does anyone know why? on: March 20, 2023, 11:05:22 PM
Good morning, thanks for the tips, after a lot of trying, today I got it! I was using VPN to tell me, so I used Cellular Internet 4g, and everything worked. I took the opportunity to migrate the BTC to my Trezor Hardware Wallet, now I'm safe! Thanks again for the tips
You should really do it and I'm glad that you're able to import and get it or else it will be another horror story that I've read from this section. Wherein those people that still got balances on their blockchain.com wallet can no longer be retrieved of how the recovery process have changed.

Now your funds are safe and it's advisable if someone is still reading in here that has got funds there, you should start moving it from there to another more trustworthy wallet like his, a hardware wallet which is Trezor or a Ledger or even to a desktop wallet like Electrum.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 20, 2023, 09:39:40 PM
I thought that the power of friendship will lose against PuckChamp. If you guys know what I mean, I'm talking about Old G.  Grin

It's a 2-1 for them but still moved to the last part of the closed qualifier for the upper bracket finals. I guess that they'll be against Betrayed and from that team I only know two players which are Symetrical and Shad.

While for some SEA Dota 2 action for this day, Blacklist lost against Army Geniuses. It seems that Blacklist players have gotten old and they need to revamp their roster or hire another one and replace their coach.
1228  Economy / Economics / Re: SVB Analysis Shows More Than 186 US Banks Might Still Collapse on: March 20, 2023, 08:10:21 PM
When it was thought that the recession had been visible during the toughest time during the pandemic wasn't really visible at all. But it was when things have come lighter and everything turned back to normal.

And while most of the economies in different parts of the world relies on US' global market and economy then these collapses that might soon to happen will even be more impactful and brutal.

These crashes are gonna slaughter a lot of little individuals that have put a lot of money in the stocks and bonds. While those giants and big investors that have been aware of the situation probably have gone long on a weekday and vacation took profits too early as they've anticipated it.

And here we are, not problematic about it since we've got our assets in bitcoin.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 19, 2023, 11:01:03 PM
From my understanding of wrestle mania WWE,I see it as a fixed fight, which there is an agreement of who will win the fight. Despite all these people still buy tickets to watch the fight. I don't see this as a transparent fight, but people still bet on this fight. Is it that they are ignorant of this fight fixing or they are addicted to gambling and just bet on whatever come across them. As a gambler will you bet on such fight, when you know that the fight is fixed and the outcome of the fight is not for real,or will you go ahead to bet for fun?
The difference about those people buying tickets to watch live actions and those bettors are completely huge. Those that want to watch it live are there for entertainment despite they all knew it that everything is scripted.

While for those bettors, they're simply bettors and are also aware of what's with WWE which all of them are fixed and scripted. They can bet with almost anything and at the same time they're also there to bet, watch and have fun.
1230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your year with bitcoin so far? on: March 19, 2023, 09:12:22 PM
Just keeping to hold and the faith that I've already placed in on it. There's no need for to be worrying what it should do yearly because I know that we're always approaching to a better year.

If the year isn't good for you, don't dwell on it and do sometime for you to be back on track again. We have different situations and journeys to make, choose what you want to be and hardships will always be there.

But don't be discouraged by it. Because this year is very encouraging to the market and it happens every time we're approaching to the next halving of bitcoin.
1231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Change of government on: March 19, 2023, 07:58:27 PM
There should be a change of this type of system but this is what democracy is all about. It is why we can see the difference of those countries that have one ruler which are the monarchs.

I haven't been there but I can see the totaly difference of their economy despite that they're not at their best now. But see to it that once everything has been fully recovered, lives there are quite easy to distinguish that their type of government is much better than what we used to have.
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Never belittle my SATs because a drop of water makes an ocean on: March 18, 2023, 10:31:31 PM
There is that popular provers which say, A drop of water can make an ocean. yes I believe is true because I gradually accumulated some SATs and now have move from being Satoshi owner to Bitcoin holder. I want to encourage my fellow newbie that you should also give your Satoshi full security because if scammers get a hold of your wallet, they are ready to always keep an eye on the wallet untill the day it will contain a huge asset.
First, congratulations that you're owning now a bitcoin.

There's a saying about that a dollar won't be complete without its cents. I know that it's sort of confusing but yeah, that's much like the idea of what you're trying to say.

We all have started somewhere below and every accumulation that we do much be appreciated by none other than us. We're the one who's working with all the accumulation and every single sats that we get do matter.

Don't wait until you own a lot of Bitcoin before you can take security seriously.
I've seen that some don't really care about this. As long as you know what you do and you're keeping the private keys and not spreading it through cloud services, you'll be fine.
1233  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 18, 2023, 09:28:04 PM
What about KYC, will you ask this before the registration or later on since it is stated there that our information will be put on a safety place.
On the their KYC policy page: https://www.royalstarscasino.com/en/info/kyc-policy

It says that there's no exact process whether it will be asked during the registration or before the withdrawal.

They explained the process of KYC verification in the following sentence.

The player has to provide documents in 48h after requesting the payout, and the merchant will review them in 48 hours.
Thanks man, I've missed that part and only rely on what they've said at the start and it's still possible that they can ask that anytime though.

On the their KYC policy page: https://www.royalstarscasino.com/en/info/kyc-policy

It says that there's no exact process whether it will be asked during the registration or before the withdrawal.
It is a centralized gambling site which is usual today with almost all crypto gambling sites. It only means they can force their customers to do KYC at anytime for no reason.
Yes, anytime they can ask that but as mentioned. If someone tries to withdraw and he's subject to kyc, he has to provide that before the expiration of 2 days which is like a normal period of time for most casinos given that they asks for their customer's verification.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: March 17, 2023, 08:43:58 PM
Friends, can you invest your money on an altcoin that have an infinite max supply? I have interest in a altcoin, it have the ability to render RPC service to other crypto project, but the infinite supply is a big turn off for me, do you think it's worth the risk? The name of this project is POKT, Pocket Network.
Only you can answer it if the risk is gonna be worth it. I don't invest in altcoins that have infinite max for its supply.

That's why I can't tell if it's worth the shot. Since you've mentioned that it's a turn of to you then why you're asking if it's worth for anyone to invest on that type of altcoins?

Then, from the beginning you should avoid such projects if you think that they're a big turn off.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Curacao license does not specify an exact process for account verification, leaving it up to the operators to create one to ensure that the customer’s player’s identities can be verified.

Though I'm curious if this is an affiliate link or what.
I think that their link is specific for forum visitors. It's like a tracking link on how much traffic they get from the clicks here.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌔 Moon.win - Web3 Dice Game & Gambling Platform on: March 17, 2023, 02:45:52 PM
Welcome to the forum moon.win and it seems that you don't accept bitcoin on your casino since you're focused more with being a web3 gambling platform.

And by such, I think that a moderator will soon move this thread to the Service Announcements (Altcoins) as that's where casinos that don't have bitcoin as part of their accepted cryptos.
1237  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware of changing withdrawal address when using CEX on: March 16, 2023, 09:52:55 PM
I guess it's rare to still see someone who's using the exchanges like bittrex and your choice, poloniex. Their past of their prime and attention is no longer with them.

I have no idea why they've suddenly flagged you by just withdrawing to another address. That's something unusual that these exchanges do to their customers.

But probably due to the strict compliance that they're doing towards the policies of the government that they're working with, it's like a measure that they should do to most of their customers. To me, it didn't happened yet and hopefully it won't.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 16, 2023, 08:51:56 PM
There really are good gamblers that when they've won such amounts, they also manage to keep their money. If most gamblers are like them, we won't hear stories about gamblers having their lives turn into a misery.

IIRC, there's this another story for a freight forward/logistics company that has bet his last money and then suddenly won which he used to sustain his business.

I can't recall the exact name, maybe that was DHL.
1239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 16, 2023, 07:54:54 PM
I'll show him the entire market through coingecko or coinmarketcap and show him the ranking of bitcoin and the coins that he has invested through his friend.

By that way, he'll see that you're not joking about your feedback towards the coins that he has bought with his loaned money. It's truly concerning when we know a person and we're aware of what they're doing wrongly and they don't want us to step on their decisions while them being a newbie.
1240  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: March 15, 2023, 10:57:04 PM
The first thing we should know is that, casinos also follow trends, and since the metaverse and web3 protocols become the order of the day, casino games now going on web3 virtual platforms to give players the best experience that will keep them away from other competitors.
So every casino will want to adopt the new trends to make their platform up to date and to meet players' expectations and desires.
They do follow the trend so that they can provide what's the demand is asking them through their customers. But not all of the casinos are following the trend, as long as they keep up with their customers need and demand, they're all good with that.

As change matters to the many, there will be casinos that will always be open to changes and adoption of the following trend.

All they're up to is to give their customers the best experience that they can but let's see if until when this trend of web3 and metaverse will last because by looking at its situation, it won't be that much longer as expecte before.
