The game which was between Charlotte Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers ended up with a really close result. Hornets made a big effort in the last quarter but Cavaliers still were able to win this game by only one point. Cavs are just one of the greatest teams of the Eastern Conference right now. They didn't have a wonderful season like this for a long time but now they are just enjoying each of their games. While they are this much great, they should be able to do big things in the playoffs. This will be depending on whether they would reflect their current effort there too.

After adding Aubameyang to the squad, Barcelona are much stronger in offense from now on. I have already known that Aubameyang hasn't had an impressive performance at Arsenal for ages. But at the same time, I believe in him to do really good things here. I think that Xavi can help him revive himself and we could see an Aubameyang near his most productive times. This is not impossible as long as he believes in himself also. And now, I'm believing in Barcelona more against Atletico Madrid for their duel tomorrow. They can win this match.

The first match today is between Arminia Bielefeld and Gladbach. This is a match between two teams that are near relegating from the league also. I'm still surprised about Gladbach that they are under a big threat like Wolfsburg now. This is definitely a must-win match for them. They defeated Bielefeld by 3-1 home before in this season and I think that they can defeat them once more. But there is a very difficult match waiting for them. Bielefeld have been in a better shape recently and they wouldn't lose easily this time.

There are around seven hours left now for the Derby di Milano. Inter are being favoured now but their odd is still quite high. Because Milan are not an easy target for them. However, Inter have been in a great form for so many match weeks and this would help them fight stronger against Milan in this match. Zlatan won't be able to play which is an important loss for Milan. But they still have effective players in scoring and they would go ahead with Giroud on the front I guess. My first prediction would be both teams to score here as I said before. And if I bet on one side to win, I'd prefer Inter.

Harry Kane has been performing much better than before since Antonio Conte's arrival here. He has started to score like in the old times. He scored four goals in his last six Premier League matches. This is really promising statistics to me. I think that he might be convinced to stay here thanks to Conte from now on. But it is still a doubtful thing at the same time. Because as long as Tottenham continue to not achieving anything, there is no meaning for Kane to stay here anymore. It would be better for him to go to Manchester City. Tottenham so far have 23 players in their squad but I only see Kane as a centre-forward. It looks like Tottenham need more than 1 centre-forward now considering Kane is not at his best this season. Out of a total of 19 appearances, Kane has only managed to score 5 goals, a disappointing statistic for a player of such high price. Those are Kane's stats in the Premier League this season, he hasn't found anything good yet and that's a problem for Tottenham's bid to qualify for next season's Champions League. Conte has no solution to beat the top teams this season because his players are not scoring many goals. Look how they have been beaten by Chelsea this season so many times in two different competitions, it is so bad. Antonio Conte is definitely not a guaranteed solution indeed. Because Tottenham must bring stronger players to the team and renovate their lineup. Only in this way, they would be able to put up a big fight against the top teams of the league and they wouldn't lose comfortable matches that easily too. They should be able to allocate funds for Conte to make him build a lineup in the way he would like to. He is a great manager but he can do much better than this with a solid lineup like he had while he was managing Inter. |

Inter v Liverpool and Atletico Madrid v Manchester United matchups also are very attracting now. For the first matchup, I'm favouring Liverpool. They are actually far better than Inter in general now. But Inter have already proved themselves so far that they are a really powerful team. I remember what Liverpool did to Milan in the group stage. But Inter are stronger than Milan and they can make big difficulties for Liverpool in Giuseppe Meazza. But if Liverpool do well there, they would finish the incomplete job in Anfield. And for the latter matchup, I'm favouring Manchester United now. They seem to be a more credible team lately. And they have more game changers than Atletico Madrid.

We can still consider Atalanta as safe in the standings actually. Because even though they have one match missing now, they are still one point ahead of Juventus and five points ahead of Roma. They are the number one team for the fourth position in the standings as a result. I still believe that Juventus and Roma both can put up a good fight against them. Atalanta can't win all the time in the end. And Atalanta still have league matches against them this season too. Those matches would carry a big importance for the Champions League spot.

They lost to Lyon in their missing match by a comeback. I think that they will guarantee themselves this time and get a comfortable win by at least two goals. Considering their head-to-head matches, Marseille haven't had very comfortable matches against them for a long time but this one should be like that.

I'm really surprised to see that Real Madrid have been eliminated from the Copa del Rey now. Last night, Athletic Bilbao showed a greater performance than Real Madrid in this match and I believe that they deserved to win this. And just as I expected, we had a really competitive match. Athletic Bilbao finally scored the winning goal in the 89th minute and this really devastated Real Madrid. Benzema wasn't able to play due to injury and they felt his absence here a lot. Athletic Bilbao had their revenge also after the Super Cup finale.

I'm happy to see that Dele Alli finally made up his mind and chose to leave the team to join Everton. Actually, I'm not happy about the Everton part as I would have expected to see him at a bigger club. But this could be the new beginning for him. Everton signed him without paying any transfer fee which was a great deal for them. And right after this transfer, his market value has gone up to €25m from €5m. When it comes to his market value history, I remember the times that it was €100m which was a few years ago. He didn't play properly at Tottenham for a long time and this caused his value to go down very sharply. This was a big downfall but we will see if he will rise again in the future.

This is their first season with Jose Mourinho in the end and we can't see it as a failure already now. The current problem for Brooklyn Nets seems to be really huge now. They got an away game against Sacramento Kings last night and I hoped them to end their losing streak by this game. But it turned out to be another loss for Nets by 112-101. Harden and Irving had really terrible performances. Especially Harden didn't even play as he got 4 points in 37 minutes. Nets' losing streak is six games now and this is really worrying to me. Nets must find a way out of this situation otherwise they would have serious problems even if they qualify for the playoffs.

I also think that the main problem of Nets is not being deprived of Kevin Durant these days. They still had Irving and Harden in this game in the end but they still couldn't get a win despite their great statistics. Their main problem might be that they have more than one leader player at the team. I mean that Durant, Irving and Harden all are leaders actually. Because of this, there is a conflict here and this causes them to get disappointing results also. If they have a solid starting five with only one leader, then maybe they can be much better than now and they would have a bigger chance for the title also.

Lewandoskii is indeed a successful players. Despite his age, he is known are the current goal machine of Bayern Munich. As, he has so far scored 23 goals in the 20 appearance in the Bundesliga this season. He is getting quite old and will retire very soon. But, he is still consider a good striker. It will be a good move, if Real Madrid probably signed him. I will really love to see him play along with Benzema. However, Don't you think Real Madrid is capable of signing 2 players? Maybe they should sign both Lewandoskii and Haaland.
As Real Madrid are planning to sign a contract with Kylian Mbappe as his contract is running out this summer, I don't think that they would go for Haaland and Lewandowski at the same time. Because let's say that they will play with two centre-forward players in their game plan. Then, one of these three players will have to play as a winger or be in the subs. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still 32 years old now and he can contribute a lot to the team he goes. Arsenal have released him and it is said that Barcelona have already reached an agreement with him. But the transfer is still not official as it seems. We don't even know whether the deal is a loan or permanent one. I just see some news claiming that Barcelona are very close to ending the deal and he will undergo medical for Barcelona soon. I reckon that Arsenal did the right thing by releasing him. But I wonder what they will do now. Will they replace him or not?

It is a great week for Juventus. Because there is an Inter v Milan match this week and Juventus have a chance to drop the point gap with Milan now. I say this because I think that Milan have a really tough job to do now. Inter are the leader in the end and they have a long running unbeaten streak too. Juventus' match is against Verona home. Verona are in the middle of the standings right now but they are not a very easy team to defeat also. Juventus should play cautiously against them to be able to win. And I think they will win this match. I wonder Vlahovic's performance in that match the most.

Boston are really like a nightmare for Heat now. They beat Heat before in this season in an away game. And last night, they won another victory by 122-92. This victory was even bigger than the previous one. Heat's performances in the first and the third quarters were really poor and they gave up on the game quite early. This is good for Boston to consolidate their place in the playoff zone. They don't have a bad starting five now actually and I believe they deserve to qualify for the playoffs.
