1261  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 20, 2020, 06:03:14 PM
Eventually. I do not mean right now, but eventually. Because the world has always constantly changed and I do not think finance is any different, that changed a lot as well. That is why I think even if not 100% clear of cash, we will eventually be pure digital, without ever spending cash anywhere except some weird people or very old people.

I would say 2050 is a good goal to pick, that would be people who were born in 1960's and 1970's mostly dead at that time (sure some people alive but very small percentage) so everything who was born after 80's would probably not feel the need to spend money in cash, almost all of them already spend it with either credit card or crypto right now, the number of people who was born after 1980's and still use cash as a standard option (not when they have to but they want to) must be close to people who own bitcoin.
1262  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 19, 2020, 08:53:32 PM
If the withdrawals were not initiated by you and it was an inside job, then of course you will not get any intimation on it. I think the only way to is to contact the support or Sportsbet.io will reply here on your accusation to give his point of view on this case.
It's hard to say it was an inside job when there are better targets than him and i've seen the same thing happen in other sites that are reputable as well. I guess the account wasn't secure enough like no 2fa or weak password. If only the 2fa was activated on his account the problem would've been easily avoided since the codes are required for every withdraw.
Why the first thing in mind was inside job? I mean you guys do realize that you are blaming a company that spent 6 million dollars on a sponsorship with stealing 10mbtc right? Surely you have to be kidding me, that is really not the way they would work, what would be the need for that.

If it was inside job but not the owners, just a worker who was ill mannered, even with that in mind that is still a hacker that is just not from outside but inside but still a hacker and doesn't regard the company at all, they would fire him and give you your money but they are the ones who are used in that as well and wouldn't want that on their name. I would say it was probably a regular hack from outside just like always, some accounts are just easier to crack into and than withdraw all of it right away.
1263  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 19, 2020, 10:40:49 AM
I know that requires a bit of luck because just as 12 months is ending some whale could come up and win like a million doge and you would have a big loss, but unless something unexpected like that happens you will end up with a good amount of profit in 12 months. I can't wait to see the results even from today.
I don't think it will hurt more when you invested a load of time.
We are already looking at whales betting large amounts and they had been winning.
But, it doesn't put us to zero.
12 months is a long time, unexpected events could just rob days from it.  Grin
I am not saying it would put you in zero, I just meant it would be changing the approach. Like for example you can invest for 12 months, you could make 47% profit in one year as an example, well for one minute it is 47% and another minute it is 46% because some whale won. Obviously it is not changing it too much but like I said the moment they play they could change the outlook a bit, is 46% a bad investment? Obviously not, it is an amazing investment return however whale just dropped it 1%.

So, what I was trying to say that do not just look at one picture of what happens, look at the bigger picture, look at what happened after each week. Invest on Monday, and after that check every Sunday for 52 weeks and see the increase with your eyes. Just one picture doesn't really reflect how awesome it can be.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Institutional Interest in Bitcoin (BTC) and Crypto Markets are Rising...And the on: July 18, 2020, 08:39:30 PM
The interest is growing, and it’s not stopping. A lot of investors want to buy Bitcoin, and those of them that don’t know about it are looking for people that will help them understand and start investing. I have really helped a lot of them where I live. Some meet me and tell me they would like to invest huge money, and ask me everything they need to know and I give them answers. And the interest seems to be growing as of recent, everyone is just talking about it, they want to invest in it. This is the level of recognition I have been waiting for.

Unlike most people do state in our speculation board, I guess we expect or not or we love or not, but we are going to touch stars very soon and this is what I understand whenever I am coming across any discussion about increased bitcoin related activities or anything similar to that. Institutional fund managers will get into board for sure as bitcoin will be providing massive returns for sure and that also will be in very short time period. I mean no surprises here but this is what I do dream about at more frequency.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Abra CEO and founder Bill Barhydt now sees Bitcoin as a store of value. on: July 18, 2020, 07:22:34 PM
Having initially been quite sceptical Bill Barhydt has now come out and proclaimed that he agrees on Bitcoin being a store of value by stating that "today Bitcoin is best used as a store of value that will become more and more uncorrelated to traditional investing markets over time".

As more people start to view Bitcoin as a store of value this could arguably gain popularity with the general public and, dare I say it, even boomers.
It’s good that a lot of people are starting to realize Bitcoin as a store of value. A noob was asking me if Bitcoin is a store of value and when I gave him a yes as an answer, he said if it was a store of value why then does the price drop.

I brought out my smartphone and opened a Bitcoin chart and showed how the price has been moving for a decade now and told him to imagine if he invested in all those years it definitely would have been a store of value for him and he would have made huge profit as well. At last he had no other option than to agree.

Majority of the people think short term, that’s why they don’t see it as a store of value. If they would look at it for a long time, they will agree.
1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 17, 2020, 10:21:16 PM
Well, investing into doge is also a smart move because people love to make bets with doge as well, since it looks so low, you end up betting 1000 doge and it looks a lot but in reality it is like just 5000 satoshi and not a big amount, just feels right. Investing into casino is a long term thing so I do applaud the fact that he is looking for 6-12 months, that is exactly what you should be aiming at, I would say by 12 months you will probably have something like 50% profit by the end.

I know that requires a bit of luck because just as 12 months is ending some whale could come up and win like a million doge and you would have a big loss, but unless something unexpected like that happens you will end up with a good amount of profit in 12 months. I can't wait to see the results even from today.
1267  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 17, 2020, 09:43:22 PM
I kind of agree.
Yes its nice that Daniel offers us the possibility to invest but I think its in Daniels Interest to have people think highly of Bustabit. He doesnt want anyone to think bad about it, because players are the ones that play and generate profit!
A Casino doesn't want bad publicity, yes of course there will be some (players losing and blaming site) but payouts even on big wins are super quick and Daniel treats his high rollers and normal players with respect!
Well, Daniel has been around long enough to see a lot of casinos go bigger than bustabit and a lot of them crash and burn. I remember back in the day there was something called moneypool that was connected to rhavar as well, might be different name, maybe not moneypool, but something that was in general as an idea to have a collective bankroll for multiple casinos, just one bankroll, and countless other casinos all tied to that bankroll all together so they wouldn't need to have a bankroll.

There was a website there that eventually started using something called ruby as well. That website basically became the biggest casino there ever was in crypto for like.. a month? Then crashed and burned and nowhere to be found now. So, what I am saying is, Daniel knows what makes a casino big, and what makes it keep going as big without going down.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC out of top 10 coins on: July 16, 2020, 03:54:28 PM
It seems chainlink is going to be the top performer of the year 2020 which must be a complete surprises for me. I never thought a ethereum token to be performing like this. I guess they will soon launch their own native blockchain soon.

Getting back to the topic, I guess there could be more than 5 places in top 10 coins belong to new coins which is not at all existing in last bull run of 2017/2018. This way I am exacting tezos, Tron, BNB, ada and chainlink could be reserving their places on top 10 altcoins for coming months. I am not recommending anyone to invest them but I am just stating about the hype they have created in recent times (because, it may not perform well like before after this time onward, who knows' this is how most altcoins works AFAIC).

1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 14, 2020, 03:38:25 PM
One thing is certain, at the end of this pandemic Bitcoin will be held by stronger hands.
Great to have the insights from one of the legend on our forum.

I agree that the people with strong will and character will be the ones who would hold their bitcoins in such times.

The clearest position bitcoin could have after this would be to promote the fact that "pay without touching anything" method, basically QR code, so if you do that, you would also help banks too because some banks do allow that as well, you download banks app, the shopping place has a tablet, they show you a qr code, you open your bank app and you pay that way without touching.

But that is also being done by Paypal and other payment processors plus the fact that Bitcoins still is yet to gain the legal status in most countries while some countries allow transactions they still do not deem bitcoins as legal as it needs to be for mass payments.

I think the pandemic is not going to end anytime soon and anyone who is able to safeguard their bitcoins by panics and market drops will be benefiting big time once the pandemic actually ends.

1272  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID AND INDIAN ECONOMY on: July 10, 2020, 08:00:33 PM
On a normal we don’t need situations like this to happen before we can patronize our local businesses. The main focus of a country should be on their local businesses and helping them grow, seriously. It pisses me off when I see people supporting foreign businesses, when they should be supporting the local businesses we have in my country.

I am not saying it’s wrong to support foreign businesses, but people act like local businesses are some kind of bullsh** or something, and it’s really annoying. Some of these locals are putting in more hard work, and shouldn’t be neglected. And look at this situation, we can’t import and export and we now have to look upon these local businesses while some of them can’t even stand now because they were not given the support they needed before this time.
1273  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 10, 2020, 05:17:54 PM
Sports:
We have also greatly improved the betting experience for esports events with livestreams embedded for the major esports and much better real time statistics.

Showing live stream for the esports is actually a quite good type of improvement on the sportsbook part of the website, its great to see something that big happening on the sportsbook side because there wasn't a big one for a while. Plus that VAR decision back to bournemouth is a good one as well, people would get a lot of money back thanks to that.

There is really no way you can do that for most of the sports, the broadcasting of those football matches for example is done with payment and you will see it in certain TV stations and only they have the right to show them, hence I think there is really not that much possibility to add live streaming of those games. Yet gaming doesn't have that (yet Cheesy) so you can put them there easily.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: July 10, 2020, 03:55:53 PM
Hello everyone.
I confirm that Lizzy250 is an official community/SMM manager of Windice and has the right to post news and updates on behalf of Windice.io team.
Guess that person must be reaaaaaaally good considering they only have 3 messages all in their own language and still managed to get that community manager position at a place they only have 3 messages about. If it was me who was hiring, SMM could be great and they might have an insanely good CV on that subject, but when it comes to community manager position I would have hired someone from the community they need to manage, not someone who has 3 messages in a specific language that is not general language of the community.

Even if there was hundreds of posts in their language at least they would be part of the community here, but no, we are talking about just 3, and that looks like you guys managed to hire someone who was outside of the community to manage the community for you guys.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: July 09, 2020, 10:04:56 PM
I do not mean gamblers who are just lucky, even if they are lucky for a long time. I mean professional players who have developed certain strategies and know how to beat the casino.
Of course, such cases are one, but history shows us that they had a place to be in the past, which means they are now.
There are no professional players who can beat the casino in long term and anyone who claims himself as a professional who can beat the house edge is either lying or just one of those gamblers who roll dice all day to find a working strategy which would never exist because any strategy will become with a house edge acting against it.

The gamblers can never beat house unless you are talking about sports bettors because that is the only option where gamblers can use analysis and various aspects like recent form, home team advantage, etc to beat the house.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 09, 2020, 06:14:40 PM
There are tons of teams like Atalanta in the world right now, with the financial fair play rules a lot of teams turned inwards and trying to find young players that would both play and make a good amount of impact on the field but also later sold for a higher price. However not every team makes it as well as Atalanta, look at ajax for example, they are known to be scout of the world and they do end up finding amazing players all the time from a very young age and went very far ahead in the champions league as well.

So, I would say that Atalanta is very good at what they do, what they do is something thousands of teams try in all over the world but they keep failing at it, Atalanta didn't fail and they managed to make it work and now they are very good thanks to it.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 09, 2020, 09:59:49 AM
This is an excellent thread and the point you raised is truly brilliant!

The crypto gambling industry is blooming only because gamblers do not have to pay any taxes or don't have to even inform who they are despite winning any amount of money. I saw a few weeks or like a month ago there was a guy at stake named TheFinalizer and he won like 100 bitcoins or so. Now just imagine the same happening in a fiat casino and you would had to pay taxes and various other formalities. I am not accusing him that he is not paying the taxes but he is not liable to pay taxes and no one even knows who just won so much money.

Now talking about the long term, as bitcoins are getting more and more standard, I mean more industries are accepting it, surely with standardization will come legalization and very soon we might see the crypto casinos operating like the real fiat casinos and we would be asked to provide KYC.
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin whales are multiplying—while also getting poorer on: July 09, 2020, 05:54:51 AM
The fewer people with thousands of coins the better, it lessens the likelihood of frequent manipulation. Hopefully we lost a lot of whales during the last bull-run, I guess there’s a chance uber early adopters could have said thank you very much & converted to fiat, effectively leaving crypto.
If that really happened it is just great for our market because these whales always had the power to swing the market into bull or bearish run out of nowhere just by having the power to control the market by having insane amount of bitcoins. Now days even if a small crash happens there are potential reasons being mentioned on various articles but earlier it was not like that, the market would drop without any reason and then start to rise as the dump is finished by the whale(s).

On the contrary though I have a feeling like investors have become more and more smarter and they know people keep an eye on how much rich address hold so they might be saving under the sleeves by having huge bitcoins by split smartly among many wallets/addresses.
1279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: July 08, 2020, 08:03:29 PM
No, Never. I don't use trading bot at all because bot doesn't have personal memory to give you profit. Grin Grin . Bot only can do which you say to do.
However, the main problem to use bot is you can't lear trading in your life because your are depending on your bot. If would like to be a professional trader then you must trade yourself.
That is not true actually.

You say if you are using bots then you can't learn? That is rubbish I am sorry to say because advancement in trading or any aspect require minimal manual work and the ideal stage is when humans only use their brains and bot automate their actions.

if you are setting data into bots and they are just helping you do the trades then what is wrong with it? You are the one ultimately who sets the data like when to make sell and buy orders and what stop loss to set so there is no way using bots take away your intelligence.

Consider an example you travel with cars does that means we are taken away from the freedom of walking? No, if something saves time than just use it for saving time and energy and use it for further advancement.
1280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 08, 2020, 07:35:08 PM
...So guys, it's ok if your profits are less. You are at least making profits while things could have gone the other way around.

One successful trader explained his profit in trading by always closing orders early. Today you got a profit and should be happy about it. After all, everything could have turned out differently, and today the price could decrease and you could get a loss from such a transaction.
True but I would like to add a point here that is, once the price rise for a particular coin and you are holding it for a long time then better wait a little bit longer because usually when a coin goes up, it will go up by a good number and once it starts to drop then that is best time to sell off your coins.

I am not at all saying OP made a mistake by selling at 0.002 eth but since the price moves up he could have waited a little longer and if it started to drop then that is the best time to sell. It's like you hold an asset for long time and when the time came to cash your trust you just cashed it too early. So, yeah while you made profit still you should learn a few market tactics like never sell a coin that is moved up recently and when a coin is going don't just buy it until it touches bottom and starts getting up again.
