1261  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex turning into Mt. Gox? on: April 26, 2017, 12:22:46 PM
I hope it won't but to be safe take out your money out of it. There is already a lot of bad calls from this exchange site. It was hacked and now dollar withdrawal problems. There are other exchanges, move your in there and do your trades there. If it suddenly goes gox and your money is in there, there is no one to blame but yourself.
1262  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of Japan on bitcoin price speculation on: April 26, 2017, 11:07:09 AM
snip
No it isn't.   Waiting on confirmations?   Transaction fees?  Fuck that, it takes 12 seconds to give cash and get change back.  Even less if you have the exact amount.   Plus you have to go and buy bitcoin to begin with.   Not at all more convenient.

Though what you mentioned are all valid issues bitcoin is facing right now that is holding adoption and price hike back, the topic is the effect of japan's move to bitcoin. Making bitcoin legal in Japan opens a lot of opportunity for bitcoin users and maybe even other cryptocurrencies. Japan will be the model for other countries and if it becomes successful in Japan, other countries may follow and will make bitcoin grow more on price.
1263  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: April 26, 2017, 10:48:07 AM
I don't usually have money left from my job because i always put it on bitcoin and the left is just enough to pay from expenses like the food, electric bill, internet bill and so on. I'm not that guy who get his salary and keep it or just spend it all, I diversify it and put some on bitcoin and the rest is enough to pay the monthly expenses and now my savings in bitcoin is getting bigger and bigger and i hope it will continue to grow.

Good for you, not everyone can have the discipline to continue saving money in crypto. I myself cannot do it but since I am earning bitcoin thru signature campaign, I can save some bitcoin for the future. All my salary I get from my real life job are all spent on bills and expenses.
1264  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 26, 2017, 10:38:01 AM
It is better if you distance yourself from any scam, early stage or not. We are in a community, so we must help each other protect ourselves. If we only think of ourselves, what will happen to human race? Even if there is an opportunity to earn money on scam on early stage, you will be supporting this scam sites to scam more people. And they will build more scam sites that will victimize more people. If we do not support it, eventually these scam sites will stop because there will be no more money in it.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: April 25, 2017, 06:05:33 PM
Casino bets are riskier because there is no other factor but luck. In sports betting, if you are following the game, you can easily spot which team have the most chance to win. So you do not totally depend on luck to win the bet.
1266  Economy / Speculation / Re: World War III on: April 25, 2017, 03:20:01 PM
While reading the news I experienced a sudden chill running down my spine, it stated that USA ships are moving towards North Korea and North Korea has warned any aggression on USA part and they shall wipe out USA, indirectly hinting at nuking them. In the past we could have ignored this news, and moved on but look at the two leaders who have the ultimate power to cause destruction and neither of them will back down. If this isn't worst the mystic had predicted 13th May 2017 the day world War III would begin, though she's got few things wrong and let's hope she got this wrong to. So worst case scenario war breaks out, what will happen to Bitcoins, as they are valued in $?

I think we should ask the mystic what the price of bitcoin will be when ww3 happens.  Cheesy

Seriously, I think if ww3 breaks, bitcoin's price does not matter anymore. I will be more concern saving my life than the price of bitcoin. And if ever we survive the nuclear bombing, we will be back to barter trade.
1267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: April 25, 2017, 02:52:58 PM
Bitcoin is already an investment so, I will keep a part of it as a long term investment. Some part of it I will invest on altcoins that have great potentials like the top altcoins right now. And still another part on altcoins that are being pumped and dumped for short term investment. They maybe P&D coins but if  you buy in early on the pump, you have an opportunity to earn big.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay Your Credit Card Bills with Bitcoin in Canada on: April 25, 2017, 07:50:34 AM
This is a good service and a good way to use bitcoin. But for me, I think I will stick on paying fiat services with fiat and bitcoin service with bitcoin. I don't want to lose money on conversion from fiat to bitcoin while paying the credit card.
1269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 25, 2017, 03:45:14 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
I think for now better don't because bitcoin prices are going up and it's at risk it would be better to wait until bitcoin is a little quiet and to put all the money in bitcoin is a bit risky because not many platforms have received bitcoin.

Even if you wait for bitcoin to quiet down or stabilize, it will still be risky to put all your money on bitcoin alone. You should always diversify your investments to minimize the risk. Bitcoin can be very promising but it is still wise to diversify.
1270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: April 23, 2017, 03:19:45 AM
I advise you to keep trying to do your best. You should try everything that can be done.
Because your experience will increase. Believe me that experience is an important point in trading.

in addition, read magazines, books and journals related to investing on bitcoins. attend to seminars or orientations so that you will be educated and have enough knowledge, if there's any.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Worlds Luckiest Countries on: April 23, 2017, 02:06:32 AM
I think we should not take the list seriously. Because the formula they used has nothing to do on how a country become lucky.

we can say a  country is lucky if the elected officials  are not greedy, corrupt and selfish. there is good governance and zero corruption. the welfare of its citizens are their top priorities. they provide , free education, stable job and high salaries to suffice the basic needs of a family.
1272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn Bitcoin Trading in Real-Time? on: April 21, 2017, 07:04:22 PM
The minimum to make a trade in poloniex is 100K satoshi. I am sure you can easily come up with that amount even if you have to use faucets in getting it. Then you can practice trading using that amount. Or you can use what they are suggesting here, forex demo account. They have the same principle in trading crypto and forex. The only difference is finding the right reference to make the right judgement in trading crypto.
1273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 21, 2017, 05:19:08 PM
Poloniex have done a very good job in cleaning their list of coins. And I trust they have good reasons in delisting those 17 coins. If you are holding those coins, I suggest you transfer them quickly on other exchange or dump them altogether.
1274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Group to Pump coins on: April 21, 2017, 05:14:40 PM
It is hard to work if your group is made up of random people from this forum. It will be hard to coordinate your moves and somebody might just be there to backstab you before you get into profit. It is better if you have real life close friends to help you with your pump and dump agenda.
1275  Other / Off-topic / Re: 4/20 is the best .Made close to 10 btc today !!!! on: April 21, 2017, 04:20:37 PM
Congratulations to you on making such a big amount and achieving something that most can only think of.
Btw, if you don't mind, can you please share some ss of your trading history? We would love to see your successful trades.

Yeah, some SS is really needed here. It could prove that you really made a good trade. italianMiner72's point was right. You could have made 10BTC but it still could be a mediocre trade gains depending on your initial capital. Your SS will show how impressive it is.
1276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitfinex Statement (April 20, 2017) on: April 21, 2017, 04:01:40 PM
Oh boy, just when the price is reaching another ath, another big exchange gets in trouble.

Should we prepare for a dip?

You should always be prepared for a dip, that is how bitcoin is. Whenever the price is pumping up, something will always come up to drag the price down.

This update is not reassuring at all. There is no time table to when will this problem be solved. If I have money in there, I should be pulling it out right now and put it somewhere safe.
1277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 21, 2017, 08:58:22 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Off course not. Placing all of your funds in anything is a stupidest idea ever. It is always said "You shouldn't invest more than what you can afford to lose."
i think right now it is a right decision to put all your money in bitcoin because it is expected to rise its price upto 2000$ till the end of this month or the start of next month or if you have a good amount of btc in your wallet so, keeps them in that and wait for the right time. i think you will not regret your decission.

you mean ALL your funds? i think it must be PORTION  only. because we dont know what might gonna happen. we should always remember, there's no such thing as 100% SURE FORECAST. There are a lot of market indicators that should be taken into consideration.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where should i hold my bitcoins on: April 21, 2017, 08:25:43 AM
Maybe the best wallet will be a desktop wallet so you can easily access it since you'll be doing some transactions with it. An electrum wallet will do. But if you want to keeps safe some of it and not going to use for a while, a hardware wallet is best.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin price so much higher on Bitfinex? on: April 21, 2017, 07:12:18 AM
Because it is currently very hard to get your currency (USD for example) out of Bitfinex due to some issues with their banking relationship.  This leads to increased pressure to BUY Bitcoins in order to move the Bitcoins of of the Bitfinex platform.  Since there is extra pressure to buy the price goes up.
Yes it is, bitfinex exchange seems to be crash without bank support. Funny thing, we always compare blockchain technology or bitcoin wallets with banks account, even some people say wallet could replace banks but in the end an exchange cannot works properly without bank support for  deposit and withdrawal. So, customers have no choice except to buy bitcoin ini order to withdraw bitcoin out of this trouble exchange.

Altcoin and bitcoin withdrawal is still functioning well. Only the dollar withdrawal is having problems. Unfortunately, we all are still dependent on fiat. That's the problem. If we are not dependent on fiat anymore, even if banks block transactions, it will be no problem.
1280  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: April 21, 2017, 05:02:12 AM
I think there is one more reason why family are getting extreme stress, that includes "bad finance management". Many of them do not thinking before buying anything. If I don't need something which is part of leisure then why should even buy it? Cost reduction can be done at many places but families go about to spend bucks to show off. This should nohave happen they should really think about that. Products will get costlier and so as to expenses made by us.

in short, the end should justify the means.
