281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to build a crypto currency without ICO on: January 28, 2018, 02:07:10 PM
Me and my team building a new Altcoin. The first Egyptian altcoin. So we didn't want to start it with an ICO. Is it normal to start a coin without an ico and if yes what is the effect of that

Are you developing a blockchain or just a token under eth blockchain?

I believe there is no one funding bitcoin when satoshi is developing it. But he can code and he is very good at it. So if you can do it as well, I think it will be fine.

Most run ICOs because they want to fund a project and they use token to give as shares to the company.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEM Classic] NEM -Newer Economy Movement - No Envy Movement on: January 28, 2018, 12:46:04 PM
I understand that this project can be considered as a fork of the NEM project? If I understand correctly what is written here. Therefore, I personally like the fact that the author of the topic wrote here. In any case, the evolution of the token in this way is also quite a good job. Let's see what will eventually come to this project

THis cannot be a fork of nem because this will be running under eth blockchain. If it is a fork it should be using NEM blockchain.

This is just like eBTC and the likes that uses a popular coin to boost its ERC20 token. Remember what happened to those projects?

If you aren't interested, just don't request a free stake. NEM Classic has value as much as people give it.

I am just saying what I am seeing. Do not worry I will not ask for any stakes. You can enjoy your XECs, I have XEM and I am satisfied with it.

How do you even push to be more decentralized and equal?

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Bounty hunter or Full time crypto trader on: January 28, 2018, 10:35:01 AM
I wonder what is better, a Mass bounty hunter or a full time crypto trader? What are the pros and cons of each chosen position?

Both are good earning opportunities but trading requires higher skill than doing bounty campaigns. You need money to do trading but you just need time and talent to do bounty.

what does it mean? mass bounty hunter? Mass bounty hunters are mostly ones that have so much free time and i dont think they can earn enough comparing with the time they spent in front of their computer.

Bounty hunters can earn pretty well as well especially if you can do translation campaigns. Translation earns the most amongst the type of bounty campaigns available here in the forum. If you hit a good campaign, you can earn as much as two months pay doing signature campaigns.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another bad news from japan on: January 27, 2018, 11:52:15 PM
Another exchange claiming getting hacked. This is the reason we do not keep our coins in exchanges.

Just why did they not use multi sig wallet? I believe Nem wallets have multi sig capable.

This is actually my first time of hearing about this exchange. Since its not that much popular, I hope they didn't loss much. The constant hacking of exchange is what will really paint digital coins black. And the unfortunate thing is that its always unable to trance the lost coins. This is really a saws for Japan, I hope the Chinese won't monk them about this since they are now the Asia country supporting Cryptos.

They lose 535 Million dollars, small exchange maybe but still large amount stolen. We are yet to see the effect of this event.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new in trading of cryptocurrency coin on: January 27, 2018, 11:20:25 PM
Buy the coins that you think will have a good price in the future. You can have one or ten coins, as long you have researched it enough to be confident that it is a great coin and have a unique use. That will make your portfolio profitable. Do not just rely on what community says, research it on your own.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this stall in the cryptomarket temporary? on: January 26, 2018, 11:27:36 PM
Its frustrating to see such a steady stall in the crypto market post January. Seems like any price change (increase/decrease) is happening at snail pace. Any hope that this market will pick up soon in the following months?

It is just normal, you can't expect a market to go bull running all the time. This happens in any market there is whether it is crypto, forex or stocks. New money get exhausted that can cause the market tk slow down. Take a break and prepare for the next burst.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One more leg down - price to 8000 - 9000 area? on: January 24, 2018, 12:32:30 AM
There is a strong support at 10K so I doubt it will go down to 8k or 9K level. This is your best time to buy some bitcoin If you still want to invest. I once was like you, waiting for the price to dip more and ending up losing the chance for a good entry.

289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto faster and cheaper?? on: January 21, 2018, 11:49:25 PM
If we are talking in crypto in general, then you should use altcoins like nem or ltc to make payments. These altcoins are still fast and cheap. Bitcoin is not feasible in that category anymore, it is too expensive and slow.

There may be a solution, but I don't know, if it is technically possible. Lets say you buy in a supermarket for 10$ in Bitcoin. But you don't send them, but hand over the wallet with amount of 10$ in Bitcoin. The supermarket takes the wallet and adds it to its own wallet
Is it possible to connect several Bitcoin wallet to one wallet?

Are you giving away your private key? Then that is a security risk.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bounties in the past? on: January 21, 2018, 11:25:24 PM
Which ICOs offered the most lucrative Bounties in the past?

There are lots of good icos that make bounty participants a little wealthy. PKT, CAPP, aion to name a few. capp  only reached 2.5M $ but the token priced reached x40 in a few weeks after the ICO. PKT is the same. It is all about the product they have. When choosing a bounty it is important that you look at their project or product so you can be assured that it will be successful in the long run.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum? on: January 21, 2018, 11:03:12 PM
If Ethereum's supply is infinite, why does it enjoy a $112 billion+ market cap?

It is the most used platform or blockchain for ICO, it is not a wonder it will worth that much. Tokens need ETH so it can be moved, so every investors, bounty hunters and devs need to have ETH. The demand grows higher as the ICO  madness become bigger.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful out there... on: January 21, 2018, 10:32:09 PM
The price alone is a red flag. I will never invest on a 2$ per token when it is still on ICO. That is just too much risk. If it is already live, have a working product, then I can invest on it but not before.

Unfortunately, most investors are too lazy to do their work. They just ride the hype when investing. So there are really very few successful investors on ICOs.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any reason for this current drop? on: January 21, 2018, 10:05:57 PM
Bitcoin price is pulling the price of all crypto. This is just probably continuation of the down trend that started early this month. I am not worried about this,I made profit the last time all the market get down. I am looking forward to make profit again.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darn etherdelta on: January 21, 2018, 09:43:37 PM
ED started to fall ever since the new guy took over. I am avoiding etherdelta now because I am afraid my funds may get hacked. It is such a waste because it is one of the few dex who have all erc20 tokens.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is best for small payments? on: January 21, 2018, 02:20:34 PM
Any altcoin that does not have that much volume in transaction will do. Ethereum used to be so fast with very little gwei for gas but since its transaction bulked, the confirmation time and fee goes up as well.

For now, I want to use NEM for transactions because it is still very low in tx fee but not much accepts NEM right now.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Alts In Red Again? on: January 21, 2018, 12:50:40 PM
Have not heard any relevant news that would make me panic about this dip. I would consider checking if your alt-coin dipped in btc value as well. If you just look at CMC, that would be deceiving because it is based on dollars. If bitcoin dips, alts value in dollar dips as well and vice versa.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you do a pump and dump with little money? on: January 21, 2018, 10:27:57 AM
You can do this on a shitcoin because the volume is too low that a small amount can move the price either way. But that will not work to seasoned traders because they will notice it immediately. To a more stable and popular coin, you need to have a lot of money to initiate a pump or dump trend.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM vs ETH on: January 20, 2018, 11:57:43 PM
I believe in both of then but I trust NEM more. I have more investment in Nem than in Eth. Eth have lots of bugs in them that can cause lots of trouble in the future. While nem is steadily developing their product and slowly gaining attention. This may be the year for both of them.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: January 20, 2018, 10:36:28 PM
DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Was that a depression? It was just a small bump in the road but yeah I did not just survived that bloodbath, I also profited from it. Bought all I can during that cryopto dump and made x2 profit almost immediately. Just a few hours after I bought the price bounced back. Lucky me.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs close to Hard Cap on: January 20, 2018, 09:59:10 PM
Hello All Friends,

Now a days a its very hard to find a Good ICO. However ICOs reaching Hard Cap have something in them that Investors are making them successful in raising funds. But its hard to find those. so I request you all Update in this Thread if you find any ICO that near reaching Hard Cap.

It may mean something but it is not a guarantee that the product or the devs will deliver with their part. I was once burned with an ICO that seems very good and they are collecting a lot of money. But after the ICO there are very few updates and communication in the telegram is getting less and less. It can only be hyped that is why the ICO is a success.

I also have an investment in ICO who collected a few million but since they launched the price soared to x40.

Do not be fooled by those getting their hard cap hit.
