401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins back to downtrend as usual on: November 15, 2017, 11:54:03 PM
Bitcoin is having another run and the casualties are the alt coin holders. But if you took advantage of the small window where altcoins went up 30% and above profit, i think that is already good profit. You can buy again today while the alts are down again and sell when it goes back up. It is all about the timing getting in and out.
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Think That Bitcoin Will Surpass The Previous Climax on: November 15, 2017, 09:48:56 PM
The question is not if it will surpass the current ATH but when? It is just a matter of time before bitcoin gets into a new ATH. By prediction of webbot it will reach above 10K early next year. So I expect it will happen by that time. The demand for bitcoin is still strong despite the so many problems and sabotage it is facing.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash beat BTC? on: November 15, 2017, 08:36:11 AM
Bitcoin does not have anything that can make it dominant over bitcoin. It won't ever beat bitcoin.

If all it can do is hype the market and bribe the miners with flimsy promises to make them mine bitcoin cash, then their success is brittle. It will soon break and then the price will tank.
404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STOLEN BITCOINS / HACKED ACCOUNTS on: November 15, 2017, 04:30:50 AM
How did you lose your bitcoin? Did you not use any 2FA in your account to protect your account from getting hacked or your bitcoin getting transferred without your permission. Protecting your investment should be on the top of your list, setting 2FA could atleast slow down the hackers and you get notification if your bitcoin is getting transferred.

Also, it is not advisable to leave your bitcoins on exchanges for too long.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to keep all or almost all savings in prime cryptos like BTC, ETH? on: November 15, 2017, 03:55:26 AM
I think there are still some risks associated in keeping all your assets in bitcoin or cryptos. That is why I would limit my crypto investments within 30% of my money. I would put some on other investments like real estates and stocks. That way, I can limit my risk and if cryptos fail (hope not) I have other investments on my hand and I do not lose all my money.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are considered illegal? on: November 15, 2017, 03:10:27 AM
If it is banned or declared illegal in your country, then there is nothing you can do about it. But since it is not yet banned or declared illegal in vietnam, you can still use it until they declare so. If you really love crypto, move out of your country and move to countries that are crypto friendly like japan. There is no use holding bitcoins and crypto if you can't use it.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to quit now, network getting worst on: November 15, 2017, 01:39:32 AM
In bitcoin technology, there no way do identify which spam or not.
It just because transaction volume already reach the limit, bigger than bitcoin can handle....sad but i have to admit it. Average daily transaction already reach the limit. No space anymore for new adopters or bigger transactions volume.

Of course not. A transaction is a transaction. But we all know what's going to clog and what won't as do the people sending them. Many wallets won't let you choose fees that low and with others you have to actively create them. They know what they're doing.

When this isn't happening there is still more than enough capacity. In August the mempool was empty and zero fee transactions often got through. With Bitcoin without second layers there will always be a limit and people will always attack BTC by exploiting it. 2-3-4MB blocks won't make much difference.

It is right. This has been argued a long time ago and just keeps popping up every time a newbie wants to FUD. Blocksize is not a solution to this problem. It will just take more spam tx but nothing can stop them from clogging the system even if you raise the blocksize.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin be bullish in 2018? on: November 14, 2017, 12:48:43 PM
This topic may seem easy to address but then ,I think we should think over this and possibly talk about fundamentals that can make it bullish if you think it will, because technically, there should be some correction with respect to the yearly chart analysis.
Over to you

Technically it should do correction, but it has been always like this with bitcoin. It always defies what should be technically supposed to happen. Webbot predicts it will be bullish and above 10K, I assume it will be bullish.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens when all the bitcoins have been mined? on: November 14, 2017, 12:18:52 AM
Like they said, miners will earn bitcoin through tx fees. And the price of bitcoin will be too high. Unfortunately, bitcoin tx fees will be too high also. And if you are complaining how high tx fees are right now, wait til that day comes. Fortunately that is not our problem yet, miners are still getting block rewards. Tx fees are high but still manageable.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart people have bought a bitcoin on: November 13, 2017, 08:58:04 PM
BTCI have to sell all assets, stock, sell the house, all buy coins, within three years, killing one coin will not sell, this is my confidence in bitcoin.
What do you think about the growth of bitcoin? Grin

You are not smart if you are selling everything just to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin is progressive and a good investment but it does not mean you have to risk everything for it. You play it smart by investing a part of your money, which you can afford to lose, on different investment, not just 1.

411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost a $15 fee for a $29 transaction! on: November 13, 2017, 03:51:39 AM
This is what happens when miners switch side. No one is left to mine the transactions, now we have over 140K of unconfirmed transactions. And transactions needed higher fees to push them on top of priority list to get confirmed first. BCH offers higher blocks but that is not a solution to this kind of problem either. We have to bear with this ridiculous high fees until the miners switch back to bitcoin.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perfect time to buy Alts on: November 10, 2017, 04:24:47 PM
Segwit is cancelled, hence you're noticing a drop in bitcoin value, reason people are no longer holding in wait for segwit to get free coins and also expected rise in btc value, instead people are now investing in low dumped alts.
I think this is the perfect time to invest in altcoins, because a pump is upon us people.
But don't invest in every coin, just to more reliable ones, especially those who were high before this recent bitcoin hike.

I'm going with Ripple, Nem and DGB for now. Because these are solid investments, and I can sense a pump for them in the comping days.
You can invest in your favorite alts, or maybe buy more of you already own to lower the average buy value so you can maximize your profits.

I bought alt when the price of bitcoin is surging up and a few hours after the cancellation was announced. I quite timed it right because the price of alts way very down. I am invested in ETH, NEM and waves.

I am quite tentative if it is still right time to buy more alts because it have recovered a lot since the cancellation. But we have not reached the value of alts before bitcoin mooned. So I guess there is still room for some profit.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Save the value on: November 10, 2017, 03:37:08 PM
If  you are reacting now, then it is quite late. ETH has been dipping for a few weeks while bitcoin was surging. I bought ETH and other alts when they are down. Right now, I cannot predict which way bitcoin will go. So if I have bitcoins, I will choose to hold or save them rather than risk them again on alts. Bitcoin is safer bet long term.
414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin started dropping dips, You Hold or Sell and Buy BCC or Altcoins? on: November 10, 2017, 01:21:43 PM
Bitcoin started dropping dips, You Hold or Sell and Buy BCC or Altcoins?

Now Bitcoin fight resistance at 6800 USD.

If Braking 6800 USD, Bitcoin will be gone dips more and more.

Hold or Sell?

How do you think about the future of Bitcoin?

Do not worry about bitcoin. It is normal that it will dip because some investors bought more bitcoin in preparation for segwit2x. Since it is cancelled, they are profit taking. It may dip some more, but for sure in the near future it will go back up and even surpass the ath.

I started buying more altcoins since the news about cancellation of segwit2x broke out. And now I am sitting at a good profit.

415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs Are Biggest Scam Ever on: November 10, 2017, 11:35:49 AM
Some of them are, and there is no way to control them. Some countries already tried regulating ico to protect investors getting robbed of their money but icos will just move their product to countries lenient with ico and won't let countries with regulation from joining. That is one downside of decentralized system, we cannot control scammers from using blockchain  to do their deeds.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to give blockchain technology a virus? on: November 10, 2017, 07:58:06 AM
What do you mean? You want to modify the blockchain so it will carry a malware? I do not think you can inject that without the permission of the devs. Even if you inject one part, the miners will reject your app with malware. So i think it is not possible unless it is an inside job by the devs.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 10, 2017, 07:17:56 AM
Cryptocurrency is still an emerging currency. It cannot replace any fiat immediate especially fiat has been in use for hundreds of years. You cannot change the custom of people immediately. It is not peculiar that most people will choose fiat over cryptocurrency. But, I think there will be time that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will take over fiat.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin To Moon!! on: November 10, 2017, 06:33:50 AM
Cancellation of segwit2x actually became a good news to altcoin holders. I do not think altcoins will go to the moon but at least it will recover from the bad performance in the past months when bitcoin was surging really high. Good thing I bought some promising altcoins when bitcoin was peaking. Now I have some good profit I can sell. There are some rumors circulating that 2x will push through again, not yet confirmed though, so I will sell before the alts start dipping again.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: November 10, 2017, 05:25:47 AM
What is most profitable to invest for 5 years ?BT or ETH

I think it will still be bitcoin in  5 years. ETH does not seem to run out of bugs and self destructive mistakes that could destroy their product in the long run. Unless they change how they manage their business and quality control the coders who works on their project, they will self destruct soon.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite Altcoins for one year HODL on: November 09, 2017, 09:53:32 PM
I am holding xem for quite a while now, and it made a ten fold profit to me early this year. Now that mijin catapult is live, I am hoping it will make me another 10 fold profit early next year.

You can also check my signature It is promising, profitwise.
