Not every team has a good season at all the time, sometimes some teams end up not being great. At the start of the season, I wagered on three teams to win all the games and parlayed them together, not that they would win all the games they play, but at least it looked like it would be good with a parlay, even if it happened once every two three weeks, that would mean that I would be making a profit.
After a while I saw that Besiktas wouldn't be able to provide anything like that, so I decided to just drop it down to two teams. Now I am doing fine, I need to win 50%+ of my games, which is what happens, and sometimes I do lose, like how Fenerbahce got a tie, but it doesn't happen that frequently, thankfully I end up winning 50%+ so far.
Well like I mentioned yesterday, the league has been quite favourable for Besiktas, they've had good and bad times, victories and losses too. Though the first half was a bit shaky due to the management switch and the team just had to find a soft landing.Well they've arrived to secure a 3points with good goal margin from their last game and this only means that there's positivity ahead for them. There's confidence and high expectations in and from the team and truthfully, they're likely to deliver. The odds are in their favor. One would watch them up until the season ends and see how far and well they'd achieve. Arsenal fans must have really missed the times with players like Henry.  Because those times were the brightest for this team. Since then I don't remember a single Premier League title achieved by Arsenal... The last time they won this title was in the 2003/04 season. It has been 20 years since then, time flies. Like I said they would really benefit from having some more experienced players with a leader character. Signing a player such as Mbappe would also change things a lot but I wouldn't expect Mbappe to choose Arsenal while there are better alternatives. Arsenal are really now turning to a team that’s dependent on past glory as the last time they got the EPL title is over 20 Years ago and not just that, you can see how they get eliminated from the FA Cup which they’ve got the highest, they get eliminated so fast and quick which is unlike the Arsenal of old. These players have no doubt some certain level of effects to a club but the aims of these clubs won't allow for the players to be used. It'll only make sense that a policy be put in place for the use of local players in every team but I don't think that'll be enough to take them to where they visioned the league to get to. SPL wants to be broadcasted and be seen worldwide and this makes for the rapid purchase and push for European stars who'd cause focus to gradually be shifted to their league. If the local players are entertained, then there'd definitely be no room for this hot caked stars in Europe and in the long run, it won't give them the focus they want to get. All things in the SPL currently occurs as a planned activity, and they are all working towards a set goal. It's only a gradual process before the impacts are seen. |

Benfica is a really wonderful team honestly. Even though they part ways with their really important players they are still able to stay strong. I can't say that for the Champions League this season though.  But in the Liga Portugal they are amazing. They look like they will be competitive for the title until the end of the season. Benfica is really good at making a good profit in talented players also. Gonçalo Ramos, Enzo Fernandez, Darwin Nunez and so on. All of them were sold for huge amounts. Mark my words, Marcos Leonardo will also be a target for big teams in the future. He is a really talented striker who was signed from Santos for only 18 million euros. In the Portuguese league, there are teams with higher impacts in the league games and European contests too. Benfica, Sporting, Porto are most impactful in this regard. For Porto, they're doing well in the league and also have good performance records in the UCL too even though they weren't able to keep up with their good performance in their last league game which wasn't so acceptable. Same applies for Benfica and Sporting who's got their own record in the European cups too. Benfica did well at securing the three points in their last game with a good goal margin. It only shows how set they are for the task put before them. Although a lesser performance wasn't expected from them though but they're definitely a stable team in the league.The league seems less competitive though as there are still weeks left and just these 3teams are trying to make good wave in the league. Over the years it's still these three that have been the most talked about because of the feats they've attained. One would be so sure to bet on these teams and their ability to keep progressing in points in their league games. |

When Barcelona played against Real Betis, the situation was quite tense when the second half almost reached the 90th minute. Because at that time the goal difference was still equal. However, what I admire about the Barcelona players is that in the crucial minutes they still had extraordinary composure and in the end were able to score 2 goals scored by Felix and Torres. So even though Barcelona is not yet at a point that I think is extraordinary, I still appreciate it. Because even though Barcelona is currently in 3rd place in the La Liga standings, I don't think that's bad either. Considering that the players that Barcelona currently has are not what they used to be (when Barca was victorious), but the development shown by Xavi and his players can be said to be quite good.
Apart from that, Barcelona is currently undergoing a slightly difficult journey to reach the top of the La Liga standings. The reason is that currently Barcelona is quite far behind the top two teams (Girona & Madrid) if you look at the point difference. So I agree with your opinion, that in order for Barcelona to be at the top of the standings, one solution is to wait for several defeats from Madrid and Girona. Because if this is not the case, it will be quite difficult for Barcelona to be at the top of the standings.
And for the next match in La Liga, Barcelona will face Villarreal. So hopefully Barcelona can reap maximum results in the upcoming match, so that they don't fall further behind Madrid and Girona. The reason is that currently Madrid and Girona are in very good performance.
Barcelona have had quite an impressive Spanish cups journey and they were up against Betis some days ago and it was expected that no matter the condition they're in, they're given the higher odds of winning. Their games this second half of the season have been both good and bad. But they're still pushing and struggling to maintain the top 3. In all they've not failed to give an impressive performance. Betis were a side that gave them a tough time though. They had the experience too and were the host and so it was so easy for Barcelona coupled with their shaky performances so far in all contests. Well their performance was quite remarkable and at least I'm a bit confident to place a bet in Barcelona's favor in subsequent games. Xavi knows how best to get good results as the league games draws the season to an end. |

The league has been quite favourable for Besiktas, they've had good and bad times, victories and losses too. Though the first half was a bit shaky due to the management switch and the team just had to find a soft landing. Well they've arrived to secure a 3points with good goal margin from their last game and this only means that there's positivity ahead for them. There's confidence and high expectations in and from the team and truthfully, they're likely to deliver. The odds are in their favor. One would watch them up until the season ends and see how far and well they'd achieve. The coach himself will put in extra work to cover up the breaches that were experienced at the beginning journey through the season. There's still ample time to cover up. Atleast they're still in the top 4 in the league, even though it's just 3 points separating them from Antalyaspor. |
