1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe it is to invest in cryptocurrency on: May 06, 2022, 11:59:24 PM
With the same belief over traditional investment one can prefer Crypto investment. Only the security phrase need to be kept safe and automatically the investment turns to be more secure. People always have some panic in the mind hearing some stories connected to cryptocurrency hacks and thefts. This is common, and we should have the learning not to reveal the passphrase of the wallet to other people. People who doesn't have much knowledge about cryptocurrencies will say it is the money out of the air, but never realise how inflation is attacking the traditional fiat.

Gujarat is batting for 178 runs. The performance of Mumbai's two openers was quite good. I thought Mumbai might collect more than '200 today. But they can't. At the end of 8 overs, Gujarat scored 72 runs. And they haven't lost a wicket yet. Wriddhiman Saha is unbeaten on 40 and Shubman Gill is unbeaten on 32. The match is now completely under the control of Gujarat. Gujarat will win this match as usual.

I can not believe Gujarat has been defeated today. They were batting for just 178 runs, and the opening pair scored more than 100 runs. However, Gujarat lost by only 5 runs. Gujarat lost in the last over due to controlled bowling by Daniel Sams. Gujarat needed only 8 runs in the last over to win. But in the last over, Gujarat managed to collect only 2 runs. I would like to give full credit to Daniel Sams for Mumbai's victory in today's match.
I think it was easy opportunity to win the match for Gujrat but they have lost against Mumbai. Opening partnership was so good for GT but they hadn't managed to win the match. I thought Miller could change the result of the match but he didn't play well for winning the match against MI.
Everytime same thing won't happen. It was one of the loveliest match. Watching the match throughout had some adrenaline pump. This happens just because of supporting Mumbai Indians. Gujarat Titans have already got into the playoff, atleast by now Mumbai Indians need to mark few wins, but they proved they're much dangerous with the blasting win that isn't expected by the Gujarat Titans.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid to buy Bitcoin in its bearish state? on: May 06, 2022, 11:37:54 PM
Even the experienced users have some fear in mind about investing when the market is bearish. This is not because the price have crashed, but about the time period for the next bullish move. For this reason most of the time users prefer when the market turns bullish from the bearish point. This can be identified only by the experienced users who are long in the market making very close observation about the movements and recording the incidence connective to the growth/decline.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American University, Bentley now accepts crypto's for tuition payments. on: May 05, 2022, 11:46:32 PM
More Universities around the globe started to provide different BlockChain and cryptocurrency related courses. Now universities accepting payment in the form of cryptocurrency is welcoming. This is something a needed one, because students are the key for the future of innovation. Experiencing it will give them better understanding about cryptocurrencies and this could make even the unknown students to give a try paying in cryptocurrency.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 05, 2022, 10:08:02 PM
Even in my country we've got cockfights, but that aren't generating such a big money to the government or the respective person who takes care of the cock and lets them fight. Taking cockfights to the online gambling is really big, whereas in my country it is like a contest than gambling. This happens at times of traditional festivals and people just bring the cock and lets them fight. Maybe something like this can be encouraged, but the case mentioned in philippines is very bad. The action took by the President is really appreciable.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 04, 2022, 11:32:12 PM
What a start by GT And LSG, they were first time in the tournament and right away grabbed the number 1 and 2 spots. They both are already qualified for next round while while nothing is ascertain of number 3 and 4 slot. Still lot of ipl left till 22nd May 2022 and any team can grab number 3 and 4 slot.
Both the Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are newly introduced teams this season, and the newly introduced teams have been performing well. There is a lot of excitement and pride among the management and fans as they prepare for the next round. In the tournament for the IPL 2022 Playoffs, who will take in the number 3 and 4 slots? SRH and Rajasthan Royals might be perfect choices.
I have an intuition that RR will take the 3rd slot and I am not sure about SRH whether they will be still retaining the 4th spot or if any other team will take it. PBKS, DC, and KKR can still occupy that space if they work on their NRR. CSK still can go that far as now Dhoni is handling the captaincy and under him, they have achieved such huge feets with ease.

GT and LSG Are trying really well this season and they are both new teams in the IPL franchise. I did not think they will do the well that they have been doing in the tournament. I honestly expected the older teams that have already participated in the IPL  to do better but it seems like the new teams are taking the spotlight. I think they are going to go a long way in this tournament judging by the way they are playing right now.
Rahul and Pandya have made themselves successful reaching the playoffs in their very first season as captain. This has happened as a result of players from both the teams doing good. In particular in few matches unexpected ending performance happened with both the teams. Those are all moments that makes the team get stronger. Anyhow in my view the trophy isn't gonna be for Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: May 02, 2022, 11:59:33 PM
The best way is to route them towards earning. Further they'll get interest towards cryptocurrency. Here not everyone gets interested, but there are people who strive to learn more. I have a personal experience with one of a known person. He isn't that educated, but wish to know more about the world and keeps himself up-to-date. One day shared him about cryptocurrency and he isn't that good with English. The next day he started to explore market happenings with the usage of Google translate and now he's good and making good earning out of long term holding and trading practice.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is your bitcoin hero (excluding Satoshi)? on: May 02, 2022, 11:23:53 PM
I don't find him a Hero, but what he does is a really needed one for the ongoing market. This can be connected to the adoption, investment, trust, real-time usage, etc. For this I choose Micheal Saylor. The decisions he took in buying and accumulating bitcoin have made a big change among the institutional investors. Following his activities there were more number of billionaires and their firms into bitcoin investment. At some point there were discussions stating such huge accumulation could lead to manipulation of market, but the same has caused positive move on the cryptomarket.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: May 02, 2022, 10:46:59 PM
We need to care about the environment which is the base for long life. Different countries have varied pollution index and based on that is the life of the people. Over the years there were more discussion about Bitcoin mining process causing a heavy damage to the environment. To this several measures were taken by the governments creating laws that needs to be fulfilled. Renewable energy usage will make things better, and the emission released from industries are more hazardous yet governments never take any action. This is just a way to weaken the network, but it won't happen for this reason. As there is always alternate solutions available.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 02, 2022, 10:04:48 PM
Rafael Nadal has labelled the ban on Russian and Belarusian players from this year's Wimbledon over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine as unfair, saying they are not responsible for the war. The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has barred the two countries' players from competing at this year's grasscourt major in response to what Russia calls a "special military operation" in Ukraine. Belarus has been a key staging area for the invasion. AELTC's decision has been condemned by both the men's and women's tours as well as several other players. There is more and more discussion on it. Will there be any changes in the upcoming weeks.

Nadal says Wimbledon ban on Russian and Belarusian players unfair
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 02, 2022, 09:06:24 PM
Hard earned money, the mistake have happened there. Whether he preferred to gamble or not and so many things that have happened further is secondary. Initially he should've realised the value of money, and if that has happened he might've never spend the hard earned money. Everywhere it is all about money, and OP won't do this again of he finds it a lesson.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: May 02, 2022, 06:13:10 PM
With altcoin investment one should not look into the bull market. Has to keep on investing and add as much possible with the good altcoins. Most of the altcoins used to pump hard when the perfect altcoin boom happens. So, rather than waiting for the moment it is good to concentrate on adding more volume of holdings to the portfolio. If ten have made themselves millionaire out of bitcoin, there'll be twenty people who have made themselves millionaire out of altcoins. So, the chance of making big profit is high.
1313  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: May 02, 2022, 05:15:35 PM
OP is right that the government hasn't taken the right approach to implement bitcoin as a payment method in El Salvador.
Directing users to Chivo wallet is the last thing that the government should have done.
Bitcoin is decentralized and so the government should have not promoted a single wallet.
The reason why many people were against bitcoin may be because most of them lost money in phishing and scams.
They should have made every citizen learn more about bitcoin by conducting events, lectures, workshops etc...
This way many citizens would be able to secure their money from these scams and may be this would have increased bitcoin adoption in El Salvador.
Only through a centralized wallet it is possible to provide a signup bonus. For that reason El Salvador government might've decided to go with the Chivo wallet. When people were given with little bonus, they'll atleast intend to know what it is. Here the people received the bonus and further stopped using it. This is where the problem arises, and for this government should take some measures to make use of bitcoin on real-time needs. This can be provided with some discounts when paid with bitcoin. With time surely growth will happen. Also now it's to early to conclude the happenings within El Salvador.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: May 02, 2022, 04:45:05 PM
Except a different technology other than Blockchain emerges that promises a better approach to decentralized transaction but if such project never surfaces then Bitcoin will remain the most valuable crypto currency even after 10 years.
Beyond the blockchain technology something more powerful to exist within the upcoming ten years is very narrow. Even after ten years or more, bitcoin is going to be the king of the cryptomarket.
For more profits altcoin has better profit margin when compared to Bitcoin especially when it comes to short term trades, but for long term profit Bitcoin is just a perfect tool to hold
For profiting it is always the altcoins that take the lead. Here also user needs to find the right altcoin to profit, if not this could end in a big loss. Profiting big out of altcoins sometimes depend on luck. For risk free trusted growth in the long term, it is always bitcoin.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 01, 2022, 11:36:48 PM
There is no ODI going on and this thread has nothing to discuss about ODI. In fact we are discussing IPL a T20 format in ODI thread. Is there anyone else like me who wanna see international cricket back in action? I dont think blackout of ODI for such a long time is good for cricket fans.

It's been a long break in international cricket because everyone is busy in IPL and in IPL seasons, there are no other formats and series scheduled.

Anyways, I don't think anyone (other than me) is missing ODI / Test Matches as everyone must be enjoying IPL matches. People in Pakistan have no access to watch these matches live.  Undecided
That is why we can ask Indian members to keep us updated on IPL, but there are so many team and long lists of matches that it is hard to keep a track of all of them. I think there is not much hype for IPL. I am not sure if I am correct but earlier we saw many celebrates supporting IPL but haven't seen any in a while.
What you've said is true. This time there is not much of celebrities found. To some extent there is a need for celebrities to support the league in terms of promotion. Now IPL have evolved as a brand and things were happening good. So, it is quite rare to see celebrities. During the CSK vs MI final the viewers count on the official broadcasting app reached 8.3million. This shows how big the league have changed through these many seasons.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 01, 2022, 08:44:23 PM
Horse feeling heart attack and dying happens during the race. Compared to the heart attack caused on a human being, an animal getting sick is not a big thing. Horse racing is available long years back, but these are one a game of the rich. Now everyone have the access to be into horse racing. This is the good that these casinos have achieved.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 01, 2022, 06:29:03 PM
I believe this to be short term bear market. If there is no big support, then the trend will continue till the third quarter of the year. There are some predictions stating that the bear trend will continue with minor fluctuations until the upcoming halving. I don't think this will get extended for such a long time period. For all those users who have been planning to accumulate good number of bitcoin, it can be considered as the right time.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: May 01, 2022, 05:48:32 PM
We can't expect the World to get united and form an one nation, one currency policy. Just think of a country, it can be any country around the world. From one country it have got evolved as a separate one. This has happened as a result of power and keeping humans as slaves. So, an one nation one currency is a failed one. If people are united, then instead of money there will be exchange of commodities. If money is used surely then the problem begins.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 01, 2022, 04:14:13 PM
Chennai Super Kings V Sunrisers Hyderabad
Dhoni is the captain of Chennai today. Today, Chennai's performance has changed dramatically. Chennai scored 123 runs in 13 overs, and Chennai has not lost a wicket yet. Gaikwad scored 78 runs off 43 balls. And Conway scored 38 off 35 balls. It looks like Chennai will deliver more than 210 targets today. If the target goes beyond 200 then Chennai will definitely win today. Because Dhoni is very experienced as a captain.
Dhoni have got good experience, but the Sunrisers Hyderabad players are in good form to chase big targets. This match won't be an easy win for Chennai Super Kings. As of now there is more chance of win for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Already a catch of Abishek Sharma is dropped. Another thing Dwayne Bravo isn't there, he used to break partnership in big score matches. End of 3 overs Sunrisers Hyderabad have scored 36 runs which is a good start.
1320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: May 01, 2022, 02:42:55 PM
I think, technically Bitcoin still has the potential to hit $80k if it is able to break through strong resistance above $70k thanks to low volatility, increased buying, and more and more big companies adopting bitcoin. However, I see this year despite bitcoin's bullishness, it seems difficult to hit its $80k price target.
During the first quarter of the year more positive news have happened with bitcoin, but there is no big move in the price of bitcoin. The bitcoin hash have reached the all time high making the network more stronger.

The price of bitcoin have been stabilizing around $40k for a long with smaller moves over and below $40k. At time the resistance barriers gets broken and in a short falls back while testing the next resistance point. Apart from all these activities, there is good move with the increasing adoption of bitcoin making it one of the best year for bitcoin. Good growth will happen in the year, and before the same there is more chances of a massive dip.
