1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets pumped quick after CZ said this, but don't FOMO yet! on: November 17, 2022, 05:33:51 AM
I'm a bit surprised, at first there was a lot of talk about Binance and CZ's role in the FTX exchange crisis, CZ's backtracking on the FTX deal was a merciful shot at FTX's death, now these statements by CZ come as a surprise to me, I hope His intentions are really good because there is some talk about CZ's dream of becoming an unrivaled Crypto Emperor.
November is the month of violent turmoil so hopefully things will end well and stability and prosperity will return to the crypto market.
Others say that it's a play that CZ design and then backing up in the last minute to really pus the price to another bottom at around $15k.

But there are pro CZ says that he doesn't want to inherit the big issues that FTX will have to face in the future so he didn't push with the plans.

In any case, for us the damage has been done, we survived, although the market is very volatile as of the moment that any bad news will trigger another huge withdrawal again. Hopefully, the market will settle down and bounce to at least $18k levels.
I think it’s quite clear that not wanting any part of something that is bankrupting and trying to save it could be a clear sign that it wasn't really a bad decision. I understand maybe it was all because of him and all that talk, but I really do not think so, it’s basically just something FTX did their own, all of that "our funds were stolen" is a lie as old as time, and even if we assume that it wasn't a lie, it’s the same result.

Either FTX took the funds into their own pockets, or they were hacked, both of that means they did not do what they should have done and that’s why they are the criminals. Which means there is no turning back from there.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is spamming mempool on: November 16, 2022, 08:50:21 PM
Even so, it's still rather expensive and discriminate towards user who have SegWit address.
Some people on Twitter are implying that maybe Binance is leaving behind the legacy addresses and moves everything to pure SegWit.
If it's so, it may be great, although the timing was awfully chosen.

By my calculations the mempool may clear up before Monday. Let's see if other dramas will surface until then.
If that is the case then I do agree that it would be a great deal. I understand that there are still a few people who rather use the legacy ones, but they need their hands to be pushed in order to either move to segwit, or just not be involved with the mainstream crypto anymore.

There are still some people who like to use monero and such privacy coins as well and want to hide their wealth too but that doesn't mean that they would be good at it neither. Which is why I believe that we shouldn't be really focusing on those people and look at what the general public uses. Segwit is what almost everyone is using and Binance should promote that a lot more.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is MiniFootball Token a lucrative investment? on: November 16, 2022, 07:21:21 PM
Mini Football Token appears to be a fun meme coin investment, designed to attract the football fans as well as Dogecoin investors. Since it has experienced a boom phase, will the upside potential for MiniFootball Token diminish? Or perhaps there might be harsh corrections for the price to pump? What do you say about this?  Huh
It was all fun and games until someone lost his money but seriously, how can you say that it is fun when you did not put any description about this coin or you can just include a link so that we are the ones that will check it out. And just because it has a football word in it and it is a meme coin, it will now attract football fans and those who invest in Dogecoin? No that's not easy as that.

But, it's true that the coin had boom already? So meaning this wasn't a new coin. I really thought it was new but you might be right that the potential for this coin have diminished already because many investors will leave after a coin pump and then switch to another new one again.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: November 16, 2022, 06:31:32 PM
although I've somehow hated CZ for always intervening with the market. But this one is an exception and it's good that he has exposed this kid and his cohorts.
If this haven't been talked about, I'm sure that many poor innocent depositors on FTX would have no idea freaking idea that their money is being played on.
CZ usually tries to do that constantly, sometimes he is right and does the right thing, sometimes he is wrong and mistakes things but at the end of the day his values are true to crypto and his aims are great for it as well.

He wants everything to stay the same and be good, which is a good reason to attack or at least warn and that is what he did here as well and it worked out very well for people who wanted to get out. He had absolutely no reason to keep FTX alive, why would he be the one that works so hard for it, and that means we are talking about his own money would have gone to save everyone, he didn't have that responsibility so he should not be considered a reason for this.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really the future of money? on: November 15, 2022, 05:38:52 AM
The value of Bitcoin is comparable to that of gold. Bitcoin cannot be used as legal tender. Even the legal currency of a country is to save the country's economy and does not want to rely on the US dollar for development.
Bitcoin is an emergency safe-haven solution. It cannot be said that Bitcoin is the future of money, it can only be said that Bitcoin will exist for a long time in the future.
You should learn this topic better as there's much misunderstanding in your words. First, Bitcoin is a legal tender in El Salvador and can be used so in some other jurisdictions. Next, talking about the future of the money: we all know which problems Bitcoin has, we know that these problems are solvable, then it is a possible situation that Bitcoin will become a worldwide popular currency in the future (not inevitably but possibly).
I do agree that bitcoin is already doing great, if we are talking about going side by side with fiat, then we are already at a great level. Doesn't mean that it’s used a lot, it's invested a lot but not used all that much. But, I am 99% sure that the more bull runs we have in the future, he more places will start to accept it.

On the other hand, we are getting more and more common stablecoins, which means there could be some business' out there which doesn't want to accept bitcoin because of the volatility that could end up with some stablecoin alternative and start taking in crypto. So, I think it’s not even about the future, it's already at a very good level of adoption even currently, and future is even brighter.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 14, 2022, 08:32:41 PM
Truly we are in a full blown global recession, many companies had started downsizing, it was twitter last week now facebook sacked 11,000 and many other organizations had sacked many of their employees blaming the slow growth of income as a result of global recession caused by Covid-19 unfortunately this is happening at a time when many countries are battling with Energy shortages, the consequences of the current recession will trigger a lot of hardships especially in third world countries with low GDP thus subjecting their citizens into abject poverty it's up to the government of respective countries to deploy every resources to tackle the recession.
This also means that with the downsizing of those companies, there will be a lot more unemployed people, and that means there will be a lot more people accepting less pay, and due to inflation, there are a lot of people who cannot afford many things, and that means there will be a lot less profits for the companies and goes in a cycle.

This means it will keep happening like this forever, because companies will not make any profit, then fire people, those people cannot buy things, and companies have less profits... it just goes on. To stop this, eventually rates will go down, and companies will take huge loans, show that as a loss and not pay taxes, and then they will end up with some good investments and hire people.
In order to break that cycle most of the time governments make the interest rates lower, and that will stop everything.

For now, if they do it right away, inflation will not be stopped and everything will be more expensive, and to be honest even if nobody does anything with time inflation will slow down, what went from 3 dollars to 5 dollars won't go to 7 dollars, it will stay either at 5 or max be 5.5 dollars, in nations with super high inflation that’s the same logic, you could live in a place where a thing worth 3 dollars went to 8 dollars, but it won't go to 15, it will go to 10-11, all of which means it will slow down. At that point they will slowly drop the interest rate, forcing companies to invest into more work and more profits and hiring more people.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 14, 2022, 02:25:42 PM
Argentina and Brazil qualified to this world cup without losing a single match. And the South American qualification is extremely tough. It's full of great teams.

That tells you that those 2 squads are at an extremely high level, and there's no chance that either of them will not go to the next round.

For sure Brazil will qualify in the group stage, because in the same way as he participated in all FIFA world cups until today, he also always qualified in the group stage, most of the time in first place.
The last time of Brazil failed to qualify first in the group stage was in the 1982 World Cup, in which Italy took first.

I believe that Brazil was crowned champion in the World Cup, but... in the most pessimistic scenario it should at least reach the semi-final.
I'm with you on this, the history of Brazil in previous world cups has proven them worthy to qualify for the knockout stage. As that is only speculation, Brazil truly deserves to not only reach the last 16 but also win the cup in Qatar. It's been a while since they've lifted that trophy, luck might be on their side this time as their present team is good. They are my first three to win the trophy, and the others are Germany and Spain, though I am having second thoughts about France.
I think they have the possibility and they have always been good, but not every single year. Let’s all remember the humiliating result they got against Germany not too long ago, and that means not every single year would be their favourite year.

This time around they got here with absolute dominance, so did Argentina as well, and even with the fact that Argentina just won their continental cup for the first time, which is a great deal for Messi, he was so happy. I am guessing both teams will be uncanny on how good they are this year and they will definitely end up with a high position, even if not the title and that means at least semi finals or something.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A new fan token to make your dreams come true! on: November 13, 2022, 06:56:21 PM
Begging money is not allowed in this forum mate , this is strictly prohibited  but I think you have a bright future ahead of you mate , just learn how to earn slowly , and not this kind of approach .
and also you will find no support inside forum from this , improve your skills and offer other service here , trust me it won't take a year before you can avail your computer and License .
I think hard work with crypto combined could definitely give a young person a great future. Instead of focusing on quick get rich schemes, he should focus on finding some talent. Developers for example can earn thousands and thousands of dollars every month, I know a developer who also runs a audit business for tokens as well and he makes about 25k dollars per month, that’s a huge business.

Of course it’s not just talent, it’s both talent but also he grew and didn't reach here in a day, he did his own marketing. So all in all, I would say that it’s not that easy to reach there, but if you are young then you could work hard and by the time you are 30 you would be a wealthy person.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 13, 2022, 10:05:32 AM
Depends on your needs as an individual. If you are into stable income then go with salary baded job and if not, go olthe other way around. Commission-based job would really give you huge amount of money but the problem is; you won't get commission on a daily basis. Perhaps on apratments; an gent could get a commission each time a new tenant will rent the facility but it won't happen on a daily basis right? And there are time that no outputs are tasked to you which means you will not earn any commission for that day/month. On the other hand, salary based won't be that huge but constantly going to your account which would lessen your worry in times of emergency.
Did you know that most "housewife" people end up with some commission based job eventually in one point of their lives? That is mainly because they do not have to be the bread winner of the house, the male will go out and get a base salary that will provide for the family the basic needs, and the woman could go out and do something that she enjoys and earns only as much as she wants to, like a hobby with some income.

This is not as common these days because everyone is working, but back in our father’s day it was a lot more common. My mom used to have this selling bags thing as well, not for a lot, just 3-4 years, but she would be selling bags of some companies and take a cut from each sale.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin of fire, the master is now on the throne on: November 13, 2022, 08:11:23 AM
The increase in dogecoin is only temporary and it becomes a trend on this memecoin when Elon tweets about dogecoin it will have an impact on the price but that doesn't mean the altcoin has entered a bullish period.
Musk can't afford to do that on Bitcoin because the capitalization of Bitcoin is bigger than any other coin so it takes a bigger effort to be able to pump it up.
Obviously a meme coin like Dogecoin is certainly different from Bitcoin but it must also be admitted that when Elon Musk posts a tweet about Dogecoin it will have an immediate impact on the price increase even if only temporarily,
whatever it is I think we need to always follow the news and developments from the market and that's important
I do agree that it will have an impact, but the problem here is not that "will he tweet about it?" the problem here is do you really want to invest into something that will make a profit for you only if some guy tweets about it? I personally do not feel like that makes sense, it is definitely something that will make sense if people really do care about it, but that doesn't mean that we should be investing into something just with a hope of a tweet.

I prefer to invest into things that are fundamentally strong, like bitcoin or ethereum, they don't need anyone’s tweet and they could go up all by themselves without a need for it, definitely a great job done.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: November 12, 2022, 04:55:51 PM
Without any doubt it's miserable season for them after winning last season right now they are completely down as their attack is not giving them positive results which is surely a problem right now we have good competition for rest positions but at the top Fenerbahçe is having strong grip which is surely showing how strong they are and how things are working for them but Trabzonspor is surely needed to work on their attack which is currently losing winning mentality.

Now today we have few very interesting matches as first match is going to play between Fenerbahçe vs Giresunspor which will give them three points and good hold on top position with second match which is surely good Basaksehir vs Galatasaray this match will give better shape of these both teams which are doing good in league and Galatasaray is surely looking for win because Basaksehir is also on decline in performance, and they are losing grip on their current position which will be give good development to Galatasaray which is improving quality and performance.
It’s not really a shock considering they were not really the "champions" of last year neither, they were just helped by the politicians and refs to get the title but nothing more, they were never that good. This year the teams are let go if you ask me, no team is supported by anyone, it feels like refs are generally bad, as usual, but not towards any team and just generally bad for everyone equally.

I always supported the idea of hiring some English great refs and pay them a hefty sum and put Turkish refs around them to learn better, just a few seasons like that with some young refs growing in experience that way would have made turkish football better.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Birth of a Cycle (Current Bitcoin 4 year cycle is about to end) on: November 12, 2022, 01:59:04 AM
If we ever listen to the first minutes of the video Bob Loukas stated:

"it's always the darkest near the end of the cycle
the end of the cycle signals the death of a period
and the birth of a period and right now I believe
that we are transitioning from the end of one cycle
and the beginning of the next cycle"

Take note the video was created when Bitcoin is rallying toward $21k when some traders thinks that it is the start of the Bull Market, Bob Loukas have an insight that the price of BTC might plummet really hard, and days later, today we saw Bitcoin had its bottom at $15k+.  Bob Loukas never failed to surprise me with how his prediction is often spot on.   And btw, I believe a cycle transition never ends at its peak and never started at its peak.  It always starts at its bottom moving towards its peak and from there on going back to bottom until a new cycle is born and repeats the movement.  There are lots of cycles happening in the Bitcoin market but the most notable is the 4-year cycle where the new bottom and new ATH are recorded.
It is not a secret that when the price went up, it was because there was a hope for a good thing, Binance and FTX mending their issues and making sure that they grow together was a possibility and that is why it went up. Then it turned out that the trouble continued and they didn't mend anything and Binance basically attacked FTX by selling their tokens and that was a problem.

All in all I have to say that it is going to be something much bigger and better when it comes down to something like this in the future and we just wait a bit longer. If you rush into buying then I will not say it is a wrong move but you must need a back up plan to DCA, so he was right to just wait and see if there would be a drop.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reminders to all Crypto Lovers on: November 11, 2022, 02:50:35 PM
Personally I had such issues while doing a trade with someone on LBC even the scammer managed to provide the national ID that is why I decided to go on for the trade but after a while I noticed funds on stuck and received call from bank officials so I simply returned the money to whatever account I received and reported the scammer to support and in the end scammer stuck with a chunk of BTC and will be on hold forever.
They are really good at what they do and that is why they are capable of scamming so many people so easily. If they really want to scam, and they are facing with people who are asking them the same questions all the time that means they are going to end up with something to convince those people eventually.

So, if many people asked for ID then they would find an ID eventually to convince new people. That’s the type of situation we are in and I do not think that scammers will give up, they will continue to try to convince others for sure. That’s just the regular part of life now, you just learn to be better and better and not get scammed eventually, or give up the p2p completely.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Babydogeloncoin new gem on: November 10, 2022, 06:41:35 AM
I have tried to search little information about this project but i couldn't find any useful info please would you be willing to share more information instead of just sharing poocoin tracker.
What are you project information, media handles or possibly the whitepaper.
actually another Shitcoin that will eventually scam investors , look at OP's activities here?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3515435;sa=showPosts

Posting multiple same thread but never care putting anything that will have our interest aside from Name dropping.

this project will again for newbies that knows nothing but greediness .
That’s not really shocking, look at the name. I remember back in ICO periods there was a guy who started an ICO and just straight up said "buy something to X ico" whoever he was, forget his name so said X instead.

And people actually invested 200k+ into it, not because they really wanted to give him that much money, maybe a few did, but because they believed maybe this would go viral and the price of that coin would skyrocket as well. Obviously it did not, but that dude got 200k+ dollars. I am guessing that its quite similar subject here as well, it’s a shitcoin but all meme tokens are shitcoins in my eye, so he probably hopes people would fall for it.
1315  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 09, 2022, 05:28:12 PM
Of course, when I work, even I have worked in 2 years in 2 different places, this is my fourth year of work, and I hope that economic conditions can improve so that I can improve my economy and family, next year I plan to get married and now must be creative to looking for sources of income. Of course, when we have a family the need will continue to increase but this is a life that we must live.
Everyone must be given another way to get more income but this depends on the desire to achieve it by working hard or just wanting to get everything without working hard. And if we don't work hard, it won't materialize and we can only get what we've got and no improvement. Maybe it will look difficult, but if we don't give up and keep doing it, one day, we will see what we have done can give many good results. And still believing that we can do it is something we must hold on to keep working hard.
There is nothing wrong with not wanting to work hard, people just need to realize that they can't make a lot of money if they don't want to work hard but that is nothing big. I do not understand all these talks about very hard working people who made billions, maybe I do not want that?

Maybe all I want is to live a basic life, just sit at home, play pc games, watch netflix, eat some food and sleep every day, I am not after vacations in Miami and dinners at Paris type of life, no need for that. This means, we need "just enough" money to put aside, and then we can retire, and that is around 200k dollars for me, not a lot for many people in the world, if I had that, I could literally retire.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A new fan token to make your dreams come true! on: November 09, 2022, 08:32:02 AM
Instead of creating a no featuristic token, from your post seems to be in college why not join freelancing and bounty job to earn little money to cover your expenses and further uses to train yourself in school than just coming here to create any token and asking for liquidity from users over. What happened to those who added the liquidity, what are the agreement between you them and who have full control of it?
There are more things you need to make a project includes building of websites, having a social media handle and also revealing your identities for those who wants to add liquidity to project can feels more relaxed.
Because, having just one big huge money in a single move sounds better to young kids. After a certain age you realize that if you could make 1k dollars per month which is realistic, you would be fine and you could live off that, and if you could gain experience and collect some proof that you have done some work and made money that way, then in case you lose your job, you could end up making it back.

So all in all I would assume that the best thing to do would be making some money while building a portfolio of jobs you have done and then growing from there. After a while you will earn a lot more money because if you did a good job, your name will be known everywhere.
1317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - How high can it go? on: November 09, 2022, 05:34:21 AM
I am just debating if I should continue to DCA into Bitcoin or sell all and put into stronger altcoins which will see better ROI over the next few years.
This is the kind of question where some people have struggled about. But selling your Bitcoin in exchange for alts that you think could potentially gave you ROI might be a bit risky than just continuing to DCA in the next 10 years. Of course you might wanna plan how you DCA and avoid buying during the peak of the bull season.
IMO, the most realistic price Bitcoin could get in the next 10 years would be above $100k for sure. It could even get to $200k.
I'm not a so called expert but that's the least most realistic price prediction for Bitcoin. Now, If you've continue DCAing over the next 10 years, imagine how much you'll get when you decide to settle down.
That is true, alts could make you some profit if you are lucky about it but if you are not then it’s not going to really work out in the long run. The best thing to do would be making sure that you DCA for as long as possible, if you can do it for 10 years that would be great, but anything lower or higher would be good too as long as you keep on holding.

It’s clear that not many people will be able to actually make a profit from this situation because they can't hold it and get panicked and sell, but the reality is that people who have "diamond hands" will be the ones that profit from the situation. I am not going to sell anytime soon unless there is a better thing I can invest into, and if I won't find any, will hold for at least a decade, more if I can.
1318  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: November 08, 2022, 01:08:20 PM
In your opinion, is the stock market doing well and growing? it's a market with a lot of regulation and it's still growing. Regulation will have advantages and disadvantages for the market and regulation does not limit the development of the market but simply it will develop according to government regulation, not freedom.

Personally, I don't like regulations simply because I don't want my assets to be tracked by the government or seek to control it, I don't feel safe leaving my assets to them, I have the ability to self-manage. The rest what regulation brings is limited scams, no more market manipulation… those things are good for the market. Like it or not, it is inevitable, between choosing a regulation or a permanent ban, which will you choose?
There is a good level of balance there that you actually do need. If there is ZERO government, then if you invest into a company and they reach to 100+ billion dollar invested into them let’s say, they can take the money and leave, what are you going to do? Sue them? There is no government or law or regulation, they are free to do it.

I know it’s a basic example, but it shows you that you need at least a MINIMUM regulation and government to be there, otherwise it means you are going to get robbed. What we need to talk is not "do we need regulation", it should be "how much regulation is too much?" because if you do just enough it’s a good thing, if you do a lot then it’s a bad thing.
1319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: November 08, 2022, 09:21:20 AM
In trading, we can make use of fundamental analysis and technical analysis in order to enhance our chances of profit.  Besides market is researchable and there are signals that can give hints about the trend of the market.  We can also make use of market sentiment.
Evxatcly, having FA and also TA will be very useful for trading. Every trading that is not based on any analysis will be more to gambling, moreover the onr who doesn't know about trading. and as what you said, trading is always risky whatever we do, although we have made analysis, but there will be always the risks. the difference is how we can manage the risks if we are using the analysis.
It's true that if we trade without doing research and analysis, of course it's the same as gambling,
risk is an integral part of trading and we cannot avoid it completely,
By doing an analysis at least it can minimize the risk
You might be shocked but there are tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people who actually do that. They do not study, they do not research, they do not analyse anything, they just see like some tokens on social media and invest into it with hype.

Obviously, there are accounts who promote and hype some tokens, thousands of accounts, and when someone reads about that token all they see is positive and amazing things about that token, so they feel very excited about the potential of something that thousands promoted. In reality, half of those are bots, the other are people who want to sell right away when they profit and shill it so it would go up.
1320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to improve your trading results? on: November 08, 2022, 05:29:00 AM
Experience and knowledge require time and consistency. It will build up over time. Those two are also needed for developing a strategy. Most of us do not focus on having patience. We do panic in certain conditions and do not apply our strategy. Patience is another vital role if we want long-term success from trading cryptocurrency. All these points are valid for all sort of trading.
True, those that we read in the book are just theories and concepts, same goes with what the OP has written, It will only give us hints and instruction, but it won't improve our trading results that much in our initial try.  Experience synergize our knowledge, since in trading there are different scenario and situation we will experience (both good and bad), and being exposed to these bad things, again and again, we can develop a strategy and action to do in order to be triumphant agains this hurdles in our success in trading.
That is true, books and studying will give you a "guide" and they will tell you what should you expect when you are doing something but that also means that you could end up with at least a walkthrough when you are doing it. That is a good thing because when something happens, you would know what you should expect and what you should do and be ready for them as well.

Sometimes you could be wrong, sometimes what the book tells could be wrong as well, but not at all times and you will gain experience and the more you do it the more you will memorize what is happening and what should be expected and you will get only better and better at it. So time + study + experience will equal profits.
