1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 05, 2020, 02:48:19 PM
I am thinking why Bitcoin price are going down? Is Bitcoin Bull run is finished? I want to buy Bitcoin, so is it the right time to buy Bitcoin or I will wait for a while.
There is really no reason required aside from "people sold more bitcoin than there was buyers", that is enough reasoning for every single time bitcoin drops. People are looking for something between the lines, some news, some major changes, some hidden thing, not for right now but so that they could be ready for the next time but unfortunately that is not a real thing, bitcoin just drops when it drops and you can't really make sense of it all.

I personally prefer to keep myself uneducated for the reasons why it drops or goes up because that way I know that I should be ready for the unexpected, which is not an easy thing to do but to feel bitcoin could go down or up any time for any reason prepares you for everything, it allows you to actually be ready.
1302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Tanks to $10.4K; ETH Market Dominance at 2020 High on: September 05, 2020, 12:12:05 PM
I am very excited about the situation with ETH, it has been a favorite of mine for years and it is great to see it coming back. I have told people even back when it dropped to 100 dollars that it shouldn't be around that level and people should invest to it heavily because there is no way ethereum could be that low and it was criminally undervalued, I am so happy that I actually saw that and bought as much eth as I can find.

However it is sad what is going on with bitcoin obviously, I still have my btc and I hate it when it drops. This is not a big drop, it is definitely a drop we can afford, but I would rather not have it drop like this anyway even if it is just small. This could be just accumulation phase and I am sure it will recover and go higher very soon.
1303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: September 04, 2020, 09:20:30 AM
I believe that in the end we are talking about a situation where bitcoin is going 10x and whenever we talk about a situation like that we have to realize that it is not easy, it will take time and it is definitely a big task. Obviously this is bitcoin and technically speaking it could be 1 cent tomorrow or 1 million, this is just technically speaking as you might imagine because we all know both of them will not happen tomorrow, but this is just to prove that suddenly you can't buy a house for 1 dollar and that house you bought for 100k will not become 100 billion neither of those will ever happen and honestly it could never happen even technically speaking. Yet with all this in mind, bitcoin doesn't look like it is going to 100k, we need to set a bit more realistic goal.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 04, 2020, 05:48:27 AM
If people keep believing whatever they are told easily , they will fall into the trap of scammers. I have been deceived once by those fake people and I won’t be falling for it twice. I can remember when I was still new to cryptocurrency and all these airdrops and the rest of them were still new to me, and all of them that I applied for was not even a single one that was a success.

There was one that did send me their token but after sometime I checked my Trust wallet and it was showing that the token was worth nothing, maybe they moved it or something. I wasted my whole time on them. But that doesn’t mean that there are no legit project.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 04, 2020, 04:49:47 AM
Been seeing great men in here, some legendary and some hero members, some with high ranks. I love to aim high. I'm just making my way into the world of Cryptocurrency and I need the advice of each of you all. So my way into it can be very okay. Thanks in advance.
USDT is different from the other cryptocurrencies you have on that list, it’s a stable coin while the other ones are volatile coins. I don’t know how many of the coins you intend to buy, but the first one I will recommend is that Bitcoin, it’s a good choice to start with. Then you can as well start with Ethereum if you plan to diversify your portfolio. Litecoin is another good cryptocurrencyto add to it.

All the tokens that you recommend can be said to be very suitable for investment purposes. Because in my opinion, everything includes coins that are already very popular among Crypto investors.

Yes that’s true, all the cryptocurrencies are already very popular. Anyone he chooses to invest in will still be good, but I will still say he should go with bitcoin, because that’s more of a better choice and will help him understand how the cryptocurrency market works better. And it’s more acceptable than the rest on the list.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 03, 2020, 07:45:51 PM
I kind of do understand their situation. There are so many gullible people that is willing to give you millions of dollars without you actually working for it, and suddenly you are expecting them to actually stop taking money? Obviously they will continue to ask for money, which will not be easy for the investors but it will not stop until investors realize that they can't just jump into any hype they see, that is not how it works.

We have seen DeFi got a lot of attention lately right? I understand it, there were early ones that just got the name out, there were middle ones that got super high and allowed people to make a profit, after that early ones started to get some attention and made people profit, now everyone thinks DeFi makes money, but how about creators who saw this? They will make fake ones to just get money as well, you have to be careful.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help with setting a coin's total and initial supply on: September 03, 2020, 07:06:14 PM
I would say bitcoin is not a bad example if you want to follow that path, I mean we are at a very high marketcap so it is not really that bad to have 21 million coin supply overall and if you can make it work that means you are going to have expensive coins as well.

Obviously no new coin could ever reach bitcoin, but it just shows that you do not need 100 million or 500 million coins. Look at XRP for example, not only they have insane amount of coins, they also keep printing whenever they want to.

Make sure that you make it decentralized and whatever you do before you release is done and after you release it, there shouldn't be any improvements because it should be good enough without changing it, if you need to change something after the release, that means it is not decentralized and you can control it.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: "Warren Buffett invests $6 billion in Japan's five biggest trading houses" on: September 03, 2020, 03:38:15 PM
Finally we are seeing Warren Buffett branching out, it took him 90 years to be able to see other things differently but he has started doing it finally. First of all this all started when he decided that he wanted to buy shares of Apple stocks, he never really went into tech related business before and thinking how he is close friends with Bill Gates it was a shock that he bought Apple shares but he did. After that this year he has changed so much, buying gold, buying stuff he doesn't buy, and now branching out to other nations.

Japan is a great place to buy shares from because they are working to sick, it is a cultural thing, so if you buy shares from a company that is doing well, they will continue to do well until they die, failing is not an option, I have read about boss' committing suicide when they realize they are bankrupting, that is how much they care about their work.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: The debt based Economy on: September 03, 2020, 02:22:23 PM
There is truth behind debt not being needed the way we use it and not how it should be given away as well. Right now debt is not given how it should be, banks provide the governments with how much default rate they have and when they get under certain levels they actually do end up with making as much profit as they can with as little amount actually getting out of their vaults as possible.

When you move your money from one bank to another bank, do you think they actually carry that much cash from one bank to another? They just exchange ledger and that is it, which is the problem here, cash is no longer really a matter to them. Plus people are taking out loans or maxing credit card to get the latest iPhones or whatever, that is not what a debt should be about at all, it should be about getting better, and a new phone doesn't make you any better.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Y series trends... What do you think? on: September 02, 2020, 06:28:49 PM
I honestly do not know what could be done about it, people could create Y type of names and similar stuff as much as they want, not like they could be stopped or banned because it is a free space here and in crypto you could do whatever you want to make that happen. Obviously it is not going to be the end of it so we are going to see a lot more of these.

However what we can do is promote knowledge about names and why they do not matter, if you could reach out to enough newbies about the power of branding and marketing manipulation you could maybe teach them how they should do their own research before they go invest into something. Some people see one Y succeeding and making owners ton of profit, so they go find a newer version of it and get in early hoping they could profit not realizing it is a scam.
1311  Economy / Economics / Re: Winklevoss The Case for $500K Bitcoin on: September 02, 2020, 05:45:30 PM
Winklevii twins are smart people, they know what they are doing and they got in very early so I would give them the benefit of the doubt.

However we are missing a date here, they are not saying that bitcoin will be 500k by the end of 2020, they are not saying that even by the end of 2030 neither, they are saying it like it is something special that will happen one day in the future and I can agree with that, it is not really that crazy to think that bitcoin could be 500 thousand dollars one day in the distant future.

I do not see it happening anytime soon, I will be a fat old bald dude when that happens but until that time I feel like we could stile make some strides, such as going towards 100k or so because that is closer right now and could happen in the next 3-5 years.
Yeah, we all know Winklevoss twins and with Gemini and going all in on crypto and not just in money sense or investment sense but also starting companies and going around talking about it, using their small fame from the social network movie that created some buzz, they really talked about crypto every single place they went so I am pretty sure that they are the richest bullish people on earth for crypto, nobody that is richer than they are and more famous than they are in mainstream world went ahead with bullish words on prime time tv slots and that is why I believe it is not a shock that they would think bitcoin would go super high as well.

In any case, over long period of time they will be richer and richer, these two have a ton of bitcoin so they will be quite wealthy and probably be in forbes thanks to how much bitcoin they have one day.
1312  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing about Australia on: September 02, 2020, 04:24:32 PM
Anyone knows who this polo7 guy is? He keeps starting up topics all around the forum and he writes in a very bad English about silly stuff that doesn't really warrant a new topic, and even if lets say it does, he keeps doing that over and over again, I do not understand what could be the point of what he is doing, is it more personal approach type of thing? Is it some sort of gain from having too many topics?

Nobody gives merit to him neither so there is no gain from it so I do not know what his point is. I guess the best case could be starting out a brand, could be a bad brand but some people like that over no attention at all. I hope that one day he will stop, this is getting a bit annoying, Australia printing money is not a topic, it is something everyone else does as well.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Y series trends... What do you think? on: September 01, 2020, 03:13:04 PM
Unfortunately when something makes people money, all other people and specially scammers wants a piece of the pie and that is what happens with these naming stuff. When ICO first started there was a ton of same name stuff as well and everyone did it, when DeFi became big everyone changed their coin offering to include DeFi features so they could get a ton of money and when Y series got bigger, that only meant if you add that to your name and have some DeFi feature you would most certainly get funded, even if you are a scammer.

Do you know how many people are out there who do not read whitepapers before they invest? There are tons of people who just think someone else will read the whitepaper anyway and would come public if there is anything wrong and if there is nothing wrong that means it must be good.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to Ethereum's Scaling problem + Smooth transition to Eth 2.0 on: August 31, 2020, 07:05:36 PM
It is not really a dead end for ethereum blockchain as you might imagine the way it is right now. It is having a bit of a hard time because they are postponing the 2.0 as much as they can while working on it so when something unexpected like DeFi craze happens while there is a pandemic and nobody is at the offices and they are literally working on something else at the time, it is always normal that it would be a big clogged, we have seen ETH be clogged before as well but everything went back to normal isn't it?

After that you could have 2x the transaction count and it would have handled it well enough. Ethereum blockchain constantly gets updates, it is one of the most active big timer out there and honestly I believe this will eventually end be cheaper again soon as well.
1315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading group on: August 31, 2020, 05:48:57 PM
I have been involved with many many groups that eventually does this and I can tell you that there is no way that people could make a lot more money than they can with these groups versus without these groups. These groups are just regular people like you and me and they have no special powers that can predict the future, they are not doing it because they know anything special, they are in fact doing it for the attention and to look like they know what they are doing so that other people could respect them and continue this ruse until finally they fail too many times in a row to be taken seriously.

So believe me, when you are not in any of these groups and just individually doing your trading without getting consulting anyone, you are actually better off if you ask me.
1316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: August 31, 2020, 05:17:39 PM
It is funny that the moment I am checking this topic out, bitcointalk shows me an advertisement of "cardcoins, buy bitcoin with cash in minutes" I do not think that bitcointalk actually cares about the topic when showing advertisement, they just randomly switch it, there is a returning amount of ads and this just happens to be one of them, when I refresh the page it goes away and if I do it enough I see it again.

However people are forgetting that centralization is not the way to go, if you really want to be away from everything, just buy from another person directly, give them cash in hand and get their bitcoin from phone and just be done with it, do not use any other third party app because we are against central places taking control over on bitcoin world as well.
1317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you try to accumulate now that there is a token pump? on: August 30, 2020, 04:53:43 PM
Let's say you have bought a token for about 1000 satoshis and weeks ago you found out the token is just about 100 satoshis. This means you already lost a lot since that time you hold it.

Now that it started to pump like from 100 sat to 150 sats, would you try to dump and wait again for its dump to at least 120 satoshis to buy back or just keep holding til you profit up to more than 1000 satoshis?
I have never been in that kind of situation, but if I find myself in such a situation I would be confused as to what to do. I think I will continue to hold till I recover my losses. You said you bought the token at 1000 satoshi and then it fell to 100 satoshi, that’s a very big loss, and even the 150 satoshi you said is the current price still doesn’t make any sense to me because you’re still at loss, it’s not yet even up to half of your buying rate.

So for me, I would think that it is best that you leave it for now and have patience, there is likely to be a chance for it go up in future, maybe it’s a new project that you’re referring and things don’t happen in a second, it takes some time. Unless you feel like it’s going nowhere, then you can sell. Your choice though.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 30, 2020, 04:16:48 PM
I know that people think that when the economy resets there are more opportunities and getting a loan right now to build something from zero when everyone is in debt or going bankrupt could be a great deal but unfortunately not everyone has money to do build something and banks are not giving out loans to everyone.

If I own a very successful business that just got hit by the pandemic and need money they will give me a ton of money for very low rate for a very long period of time, but if I was just a regular worker who just happen to lose his job and have nothing to my name, they are not going to just give money to me, they are going to reject any loan request I bring forward. That is why I believe there is a problem with the situation, the people who complain are not the people who are not brave, it is the people financial system left alone.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: Virgin Atlantic Goes Bankrupt, Bailouts? on: August 30, 2020, 10:08:50 AM
Well, the pandemic did prevented airlines from making money, people are not flying around as you might imagine which really hurts the companies as well. However it is a hard part to indulge, think about it you are a British company and everything you have is British and money goes there, but the assets are in America and you work with American everything on your job that is in America, so when you want to sell those planes for example you sell it on American soil to American people (probably) which means you have to deal with American laws as well.

I don't know what American airlines will do, not like the people who can buy those assets are rich right now neither, they are not flying people too so everything is really a bit screwed right now, I am not sure what could be done at this point.
1320  Economy / Economics / Re: Socialist life on: August 29, 2020, 03:45:15 PM
Cryptoboss2020 is probably a young kid, you do not have to listen or respond to everything he says, he has created some weird topics in the past so far and all of them are stuff to get attention. There are tons of topics with "bitcoin going over 12k would be possible if X happens" type of non-attention seeking regular topics, I feel like being in them is easier, you do not have to focus on these type of grand ridiculous and basically just useless topics.

Even the first post he wrote himself doesn't make sense and not just because of his bad English, he has horrible English, my English is bad, his is horrible, but even if he made any sense what he wrote doesn't make sense at all, "socialists means 50% doing the work for 50%" that is capitalism, but for 90%+ working to make money for 1% instead of 50% 50% which would be an improvement even if it was true.
