1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Installed in Mexican Senate Building !!! on: May 01, 2022, 02:20:35 PM
The limited supply have made bitcoin more valuable than the traditional fiat. This isn't understood by everyone. Over the past few years the growth in terms of price, usage and acceptance have been increasing. The lastest is all about the politicians. In more countries we were able to see politicians interested in bitcoin, but they never make a proposal to the government. In Mexico one such incident have taken place. Maybe this can be a beginning for adoption of bitcoin by third world countries.

Marsh and Pant have made a good partnership once after the dismissal of the openers. The 50 partnership between the two came in 17 balls. It is true that Rahul is in good form and he's the scoring machine for Lucknow Super Giants. In all matches where Rahul last his wicket earlier has ended in low target.
Placed a live bet on Lucknow Super Giants to win the match after Delhi Capitals lost their first two wickets but Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant is taking on the Lucknow Super Giants bowlers and they have Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell to follow who can clear the boundary and with 195 runs to chase the match is getting interested as the third wicket partnership is creating problems for Lucknow Super Giants.

Edit: Mitchell Marsh is gone.
Mitchell Marsh has gone, but it was a wrong decision from the umpire. Marsh should've gone for the review. If Delhi Capitals weren't able to reach the target, then it is the wrong decision that have changed the result. Marsh was in good form and making good comeback. Throughout this season there is more number of wrong decisions from the umpires. The cricket board needs to provide better training.

Wins required to get qualified for the top four position on the points table. Chennai and KKR were in a very critical position to win remaining matches to get qualified. Mumbai Indians already eliminated from this season IPL. In today's match the team seems to be playing pressure free, and it looks like the first win for Mumbai Indians.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Recovers Amid Bull Trap Warning on: April 28, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
Of course it's not a bad idea to invest at this time, although the market is bouncing around the $40k price, still a good price to enter specially if you are here for long term. Just continue to accumulate and buy in the dip.

Just take note though that personally, I think we are in a bear market, so there is still a chance that the price could go lower, and worst comes to worst, we might see the price going back to it's previous all time high. Nevertheless, as I have said, this bear market is the perfect time to buy as much as you can and wait for the next bull run to take your profits.
The price has bounced from the lows of $38k once after the buying of Twitter by Elon Musk. Exchange supply shock looks similar to the 2020 pattern. Whenever this happens, there is more chances for market pump/dump. As of now the market is on the increasing side. So we can expect pump in the bitcoin price in a gradual manner over the falling weeks.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia suspends gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria for failing to pay in rouble on: April 28, 2022, 11:40:50 PM
.... The EU has responded saying this is gas blackmail
This coming from the people that keeps hitting Russia with sanctions hehe.
Countries United together on sanctions, and now every country wants oil. Russia is playing the lead role to keep everything within control. More plans of renewable energy production and requests for oil supply from East Asian countries failed. This is where EU mentioned it as gas blackmail... Hahaha Cheesy
.....
Russia has violated the treaty (the oil trade agreement was written before the Ukraine-Russia war), but what i see now is that Russia doesn't care about that anymore, when European countries impose economic sanctions on their country, Russia immediately considers the written agreement to be automatically void.  i know it's really tough for bulgaria and poland but if they are wise, they will surely accept the conditions from russia to save gas and oil supply in their country
Russia have been asking for other countries to honor some treaties before this conflict started from what I've read. Many of those requests were also ignored so it's not surprising they do the same.
Something has to be mutually addressed to end the war. If this keeps going on, both the country people gets affected alot. Already two months past and the war still continues. At some point it looks like European Union is playing an one sided role.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 28, 2022, 11:24:44 PM
Just watched Dalien against Gasquet match, this was my first time watching Dalien and probably my last. Very annoying player without any shots and screaming like a little girl even on easy ground strokes. I had some money on him and after set 1 even I cheered Gasquet to win Smiley

Madrid started for girls today so some good matches there but I did not have time to make any bets.

I haven't watched the match, but the first set has ended with a hard fight whereas the second set completely on the side of Richard Gasquet. Today in the quarter final Richard Gasquet plays against Sebastian Baez. Being an young player this match looks like a win for Sebastian Baez.

Different users have difference of opinion over different gambling sites. A detailed thread about the gambling sites to be avoided is provided in an above post. So, you can go through the rest of the gambling sites and add your most valuable reviews about every gambling site. If there arises any controversial review then community will share their experience, so that you can decide whether that particular platform needs to be used or not. Just on generating individual lists by every user won't help you in any way.
1328  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Legal Tender in Panama on: April 28, 2022, 09:55:06 PM
welcome to the club panama....with 3 million people who certainly already have a good knowledge of bitcoin and also have the natural wealth that is one of the world's tourist destinations, panama will be very successful with their bitcoin adoption.  what i see in the future about this is! that there will be more and more countries that recognize bitcoin, just wait one by one.
It is good for the country residents, and the population of the country is 4+million. With the adoption of bitcoin the economic conditions will strengthen. As for now there is no proper income distribution. Almost 55% of the income goes into the hands of 20% of the richest residing in the country. It holds the high human development index with which we can expect good number of people using bitcoin compared to the countries that have adopted bitcoin earlier. Majority of the population resides in the rural regions which shows that job is accumulated in specific regions. The adoption is also aimed with more jobs, let's see what all things gets fulfilled through this new law passed.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 27, 2022, 11:59:42 PM
Once again Gujarat Titans have won the match with the power packed performance of Rashid Khan in the last over scoring 25 runs for the required 22 runs. This is a bad defeat for Sunrisers Hyderabad, because all the efforts that were made upto the 19th over was wasted in a single over. Muthiah Muralidharan who is the bowling coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad got much tensed upon the bowling of Marco Jansen. In most of the matches played by Gujarat Titans playing second have ended same as today.

After 16 overs, I thought the Gujarat match would be lost. But in Rashid Khan's unbeaten innings, Gujarat got an unimaginable victory and is now at the top of the points table. It was not easy to win by batting for 196 runs. The performance of openers Wriddhiman Saha and Gill was very good. They did well in the beginning but the middle order players did not play well. We have high expectations of players like Miller. He should perform more responsibly.
Even by the 20th over everyone could've believed it is a win for Sunrisers Hyderabad. All the expectations got crushed by Rashid Khan. Even if it is Tewatia, the match would've gone into the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Anyhow throughout this IPL Gujarat Titans were making big progress. Being a new team into IPL and performing the best. Important thing, Rashid Khan is a player for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous Season.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: April 27, 2022, 11:44:40 PM
Are we witnessing only the beginning of bitcoin's adoption as legal tender around the world? What would the world be like if more developing countries and 3rd world countries adopt bitcoin and begin trading each other using bitcoin? Everyone knows I am a skeptic and have speculated these countries accepting bitcoin as legal tender are only doing it for publicity. However, I am presently not certain of this anymore hehe.

...//....::.

I think there is a serious discussion about how positive it is that bitcoin reaches "legal" status and then the addition of the asset or currency it is already an exceptional result, like saying the icing on the cake.

There is nothing that can be said with certainty about the fate of the countries that adopt bitcoin, this by itself is not a messiah in the achievement of improving economies, I think that the fact of adopting at each government that is added to the initiative mainly It is providing the right that individuals have to access the management of our assets.
Bitcoin being the legal tender in a country doesn't provide any certainty of progress, but for longer and term it assure with growth. But as a country it cannot hold, it needs to make regular transactions. These countries can initially make investment plans on mining bitcoin and later could've adopted it. Same time there were talks going on, that Bitcoin adoption by El Salvador failed based on certain data. I'm not sure, but it is the beginning and someday it'll be discussed as the success model for sure.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 26, 2022, 11:55:23 PM
I understand that the stage of international cricket and club cricket is changing. and I think it is happening for the good of cricket because it might increase the popularity of cricket altogether.

But I don't see why a player who is not retired from international cricket, is supposed to prioritize franchise cricket more than his national duty. I understand that that pay is really good but I still don't think that franchise cricket can offer what International Cricket can. or maybe I'm just a boomer who enjoys international cricket a little more than franchise cricket.

Cricket is just like any other profession. You can't force the players to turn down a high paying offer (just like the case with any other career). The salary levels in IPL is 10x or 20x of what the players receive in international matches. Given this, can you really force the players to opt for international matches, when the IPL is ongoing? It is extremely unfair. Some of the cricket boards, such as the one in South Africa has done this and in the end many of the players were forced to take retirement.
I remember i posted something related to this like, 2 months IPL salary comparison to their annually national contract (south africa).

South African players make 8-10 (Given they are contracted from their respective board for that long) years worth of money from just 1 season of IPL.
Based on the availability of the player will be the pay. This makes the international players participate into IPL even when there is matches going on in the country. Based on the performance will be the auction value for the players once the contract ends every three years. This makes them give more importance on performing well in the IPL as there is limited number of foreign players need to be auctioned by a team. Anyhow it is always a proven fact, money plays big role everywhere.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: April 26, 2022, 11:45:49 PM
Dogecoin showed a 22% growth, bitcoin bounced to $40k+ value. Following this almost every cryptocurrency turned green following the bitcoin price move. Everything happened once after the tweet from Elon Musk indirectly stating that he had won the deal.

According to CMC data in the last 24 hrs bitcoin have touched price down to $38k and dogecoin have experienced a decline of 11% which can't be connected anywhere. Being a speculative asset, the market have reacted to the news and now it's back on the track. We can't be sure of the bull market based on these pattern of market movements.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 25, 2022, 11:43:02 PM
It's annoying to have a collection of shittokens in wallets except empty wallets with no transaction history, but there's nothing you can do about shittokens other than ignore them, shittokens are locked for transfers except for successful one-on-one transaction approvals when swapping on pancakeswap and usually cutting high transaction fees , my friend once lost $15 only transaction fee for swap approval transaction on pancakeswap.
Users will be receiving tokens in huge numbers. When we have known about those tokens as a trap, the right thing to do is ignore. This is not a new thing happening now, this is seen from the days of ICO. We know what we've transacted, so just use those tokens and not the unknown ones to avoid unwanted spending. I've seen this much on the myetherwallet.
1334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: April 25, 2022, 11:29:08 PM
We don't know what is the reality happening within the country or it is the media that is making news out of these two countries. Came across a news in which it is mentioned that more than 65% of the people surveyed have stood in support of Putin.

So many Russians say they support the war in Ukraine.

We can't rely on the survey results, because it'll be based on small sample. If this is the representation of the entire population then it needs to be taken into consideration and analysed. Why such a big number is supporting the war which has been causing economic, and life destruction.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 25, 2022, 10:24:36 PM

their money, their rules! as simple as that. but i can agree that when you happen to play like for example in crash, and you will see someone putting up like $20k, and lost. just wow! wondering what they are feeling in those few seconds, and realised they lost that amount in one snap. but guess what, we'll never know if we are not that person. some can spend huge amount without battling an eye. but for most of us here, it is like our ticket to survival for the next few months.
The user have got money, and that's why he's spending. Whether it is being over within a second or it ended up after few rolls isn't a matter for such high rollers. We can't keep us in that place, because for we dollars to spend we'll be thinking several times. With the mentioned $20k one can lead the life for the next two years in a third world country and with the bet amount mentioned in the OP, one can have a good living for a generation.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: April 25, 2022, 08:05:21 PM
Indeed, after experiencing a price increase to the level of $47k a few weeks ago, bitcoin slightly decreased in price to the level of $ 38k. But in the last few days, the price of bitcoin has risen again where bitcoin is currently trading at a price range of $40k-$41k. Therefore I am optimistic that the current price increase has the potential to reach the target price of $60k.
The decline won't be as bad as it used to be, I think the correction is now less but bitcoin can go back up, but if you look at this short-term momentum, buy during a correction and sell when it goes up a bit I think it's quite good compared to having to wait for $60k it's still too far off for us.
But I think the price can still hold and the resistance is $37k-38k we have to see that support if we want to move in the short term.
The price of bitcoin is moving within specific range. It can go above $60k with ease. For sure the price will undergo market correction. This corrective price movement is quite common, but the market is in good condition. The market have got good support. Until yesterday there is no big news, and today new information have come. If the price of bitcoin closes down to $38600 the midrange support will be $35400. Right now the market is very slow in either side,( Growth )
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 25, 2022, 06:57:47 PM
Punjab scored a balanced total run and it was not easy for CSK in that match. Rayadu was fantastic and played a good innings but he didn't get any strong partnership with him. At the end of the match, after 16th over, it was easy to win for CSK but Punjab played well and managed to win the match.
Just look at the scoring pattern of both the teams. From the beginning Punjab kept creating partnership, and each and every player have contributed with a two digit score. Look at the Chennai team, Uthappa, Santner, Dube altogether have contributed 18 runs out of 29 balls. They play at the very important position, because of the opener isn't able to contribute these players need to fulfill. Here everything has happened upside down and that's a major reason for Chennai team losing against Punjab.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 25, 2022, 06:21:55 PM
Competing with the IPL in the middle of all the problems that Pakistan is facing right now is going to be a really hard job for them.

I am not saying that it is impossible but the amount of popularity and impact IPL has is just unbelievable. and to be honest they truly do not even need the whole world to see the IPL. Their own population is good enough to generate a good amount of money.

It is going to be really interesting if Shahid Afridi actually takes the job. I have always liked him as a player and he has a really good sense of cricket. so I think it will be really great for Pakistan overall if he is in the authority.
Shahid Afridi taking the authority of PSL will be good, but the major focus of these leagues were much upon revenue and not upon development of cricketing. So, it'll be good to add a business person along with the Shahid Afridi. Pakistan to compete against IPL is not an easy thing and it takes time and much money. As in the above quote, the viewers within the country is more than enough to make it popular than any other leagues conducted around the world. For an information, the viewership on the platform hotstar reached 8.3 million during the last over played by Dhoni against Mumbai Indians.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: April 24, 2022, 11:59:41 PM
investing and saving is a plan for future finances to become more established and easier....
but basically all of this must be done with established management because most people are reluctant to save and prefer to invest so that the money can always work for themselves.
Savings assure the benefits, but the growth is limited. It is always good to save and then invest a part of the savings. This will reduce the risk and if there is good growth out of the investment, just keep on increasing the investment value. This will give more benefits than just saving. Most of the middle class turn to be upper middle class only through the process of saving and the investing it.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banking bitcoins will be work on: April 24, 2022, 10:58:11 PM
Banks were the primary financial management service providers. Also these banks function under the government control. When we talk about bitcoin getting added as the payment gateway along with banks being the primary payment source. Increase in the direct acceptance of bitcoin will eliminate banks, but the same won't take banks away from its usage.
