If the counterparties to the escrow know 100% how 2-of-3 or 3-of-3 multi-sig works, they can grill any potential escrow agent to test their expertise. It's not so much that they're trying not to find a thief, it's that they want someone who can't be bribed to collude with one counterparty. The legal contracts and real-world identities would deter bribery.

Hello, how to ensure safe transactions on Paypal by preventing reversible requests ? Does sending money as a friend&family gift work ? Does that garantee the buyer cannot ask reversible transfer? What about the note left while purchasing through paypal, should it be left empty or mention something such as "i, the buyer, honor the fact that this operation is final and will not be reversible". Buying somewhere to live is the best thing you can ever buy. Just don't buy an overpriced house, or a flat in a big city that would be surely sold at an unfair price. This may depend from where you live but if you live in Western World, houses are most of time really really expensive, so it would be smarter to build it. Imagine, the newspaper could say : "Bitcoin build houses. Nothing can stop the rise !"  ! Also, consider that if you're young, you should invest it and then use the income flow to buy or build it. This would be what I would do. Unfortunately, totalitarian governments multiply the cost of home building by requiring nonsensical permits, taxing the fuck out of it. |

Personally, I do agree in increasing gun control. We have seen in the past how people who shouldn't be able to get guns, has them anyway, because of an lose gun control system. As long as the gun control, particular in the US, won't violate the second amendment, there shouldn't be any problem implementing further control on guns.
Enough of this "the earth is flat" magical bullshit. Gun control cannot stop anyone from getting guns who shouldn't have them. If there is a will, there is always a way. Gun control only stops those who should have guns from legally getting them, categorically violating the second, and other, amendments, that codified, NOT created, human rights. |
