1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 01:47:38 PM
You are not alone  Grin, I have a painful experience regarding to the wrong bets. I think it was a week ago where I made a parlay bet in Lima Major 2023 where I have 6 bet combo and I think the odds reached 20x. Instead of betting $20 in that 6 bet combo, I misclick another 0 and it turn into $200. When I saw it, it is already late because I already made the bet.

Of course there is a emotional discomfort even though the match is not yet started, at the end; I lost the $200. But I already move on and the good thing is I learned a lot from what happened. We should always double check the total amount of the money that we will bet for us to be sure that it is the exact money in our plan and in our mind. Better to be careful than to lose huge amount of money by technical errors.

Why you didn’t cash out your bet and take some loss if you are not confident on your bet. I believe the majority of sportsbook offer a cash out feature especially of the game is not yet started/over yet. A 6 match parlay with 20 odds is very hard to win while betting 200$ on it is just like giving it away in the casino.

I once experienced this but not on a parlay so I just bet on the other side of the match to take loss a few percentage of my bet since cash out is not available that time. I usually take small loss when I know that my bet is just a mistake rather than risk it.
1322  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Rakeback 🎲 Races 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Deposit Bonus 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 on: March 08, 2023, 12:07:20 PM
Maybe the bookmaker deigns to respond to letters from blocked players? I've been waiting for a week, I wrote both in live chat and on email, and still have not received a response regarding the blocking of my account and the fate of my money

Issue like this doesn’t resolve a day or 2 because your account has been flagged for doing arbitrage betting. I don’t know what kind of responds to while while Duckdice admin clearly answer your concern last march 6 with that explanation. Doing arbitrage bets is against casino terms of service so you should be patient on the result. You won’t be on this tight spot if you are playing normally because there’s no way in this planet that bookmaker will choose randomly to accuse for arbs betting without any basis.

You are still lucky that Duckdice is still giving you consideration for re-evaluating your case despite the game provider already flagged you as arbs better.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 05:02:18 PM
The losed money goes to the provider bank roll and they are using it to pay other players that winning. The slots have an RTP which means it return to the player the certain part of the profit it can get on all the lose money. Many players is losing but some player is winning big. The casino works like this and in case everyone is on bad luck, this money will goes to casino and game provider itself.

But it still depends on the contract between operator and the casino because some casino that they are paying wins by themselves and operator just cut a commission on a profit. Either way it will goes on their bankroll.
1324  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 07, 2023, 03:41:14 PM
User can simply based on the trust rating of the casino bitcointalk account here to determine whether it is reputable or not because shit casino usually get the negative trust they deserve if they do a scam against forum user. There’s no such thing as demand for casino review here and most of the post asking for a preferred casino is coming from newbie that don’t use search bar or too lazy to do his own research.

Gamblingbro and BTCGOSU are already enough to become a reference for a casino review because they are run by a forum user for long time.
1325  Economy / Gambling / Re: I got frusted please help? on: March 07, 2023, 12:52:57 PM
For a long time, I have been searching for gambling sites with cheaper deposit so that I could afford to play mini games, and one thing I find during those times is that, there may be sites with lower deposit requirement, but there is no such thing as no wwithdrawal requirement. This'll make it easier for people to plot schemes if there is one, or it could also be a site that isn't legitimate.

Blackjack.fun doesn’t have wagering requirements for their deposit before you can withdraw but expect that you will be required to KYC by doing that thing since it can be considered as coin mixing. But in general, casino always required x1 wagering requirements which is fair as a requirements of AML policy to avoid money laundering.

I believe OP  is looking for a casino to mixed his coin for free without any risk since you will not asked it if you are just a regular gambler.
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 04, 2023, 06:14:55 PM
The simplest strategy is to save more money and invest. You don't have to starve yourself, but manage your spending on something you really need. No need to buy goods in bulk, it only makes inflation worse. Nothing too celebratory, just keep it as simple as possible. But think about the investment, it will give you a return that may be good in the long term.

I agree with some of the strategies at the OP, but about home schooling - it's just very different from person to person.
OP listed many factors to consider to live a debt free life, we must know our priorities to be able to manage and determine what is better in our lifestyle or living capacity. It’s good that OP knows how to invest and what areas he should be focus in like having home or cheaper rent as well having investments. Having multiple jobs can help too if there is time like online jobs that will not affect too much of his schedule and use the salary to make more investments for their future. During pandemic I really see the need of not having sidelines than focusing only in one job.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there other possible L2 solutions for Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2023, 05:45:11 PM
https://www.mintlayer.org/en/ is an L2 project built on Bitcoin blockchain to introduce DeFi to Bitcoin ecosystem. I just saw this project since they advertised in the forum before. I believe this L2 solution can give the spark to Bitcoin once again if they become successful to their goal due to DeFi hype it can provide.

Who’s watching current match between Talon and Entity. Surprisingly Talon dominates Entity on the first map. Talon draft has a lot of control for having Batrider, Tiny and Treant at the same time they have a very chewy hero they get because they can stand on a team fight with DP Exo active.

Talon is continuing their win streak after beating TS and I think there’s a high chance that they can 2-0 Entity now if they continue having that kind of draft. 23Savage is unstoppable by using Sunder in creative way just to prolong the team fight.

Entity has no chance winning the game 2 for having that kind of draft. Even they have Blackhole, it’s still useless for the line up of Talon that has a lot of crowd control like cookie which definitely counter the perfect setup with one cookie on hero inside the blackhole. Tiny(Ava toss) - Zeus (Wrath/Lbolt) and Snapfire(Kisses) combo is enough to burst anyone not to mention how massive the damage of 23savage.

I think Talon has a chance to beat another team on the lower bracket to have very good lower bracket run. Q is owns tiny on both map.

I had this error on my Play N Go provider.
at that time I was playing in one of the games from Play N Go and after a few rounds I got a bonus round. after the bonus round stopped i just got $6 after that there was a problem like the picture in your quote. and I tried several games from the same provider, still the error.
but when I try games from Pragmatic everything is fine.

I think the problem is due to maintenance of the site or game provider while upgrading the system.
and it usually doesn't last long, just a few minutes and after that try logging in again, everything should be fine.

You will not gonna open the game and there’s a note that the game is on maintenance if the game provider is doing some upgrades. They usually do it with advanced announcements to inform players and not like this. This is probably due to the internet connection problem since the error suggests to refresh the browser.

I’m playing Play N Go provider and I never encounter this error before since you will not open the game if there slots have a problem because they loading the full game before you can play.
1330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Or Holdings on: March 03, 2023, 04:53:53 PM
I earn most of my crypto profits through holding for a month of all my bounty tokens before I sell it. Selling it right after the initial release is useless that time since exchange listing on huge CEX is the one gives price boost and not the initial listing on small exchange. Things only change on the current bounty campaign since most of the crypto project running bounty campaign is worthless. The majority of quality project is using launchpad to collect investment funds that’s why bounty campaigns is not that popular marketing to gain investors due to the existence of launchpads. Selling the bounty tokens immediately is the right thing to do and purchased top marketcap couns like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

we are not a 'scam casino', we've been operating for many years now and reputation is important in such a space.

You might not be a scam but you are acting like it by having a multiple same case of freezing user funds without leaving a clear explanation for your action. This will be easier to digest from the user point of view if you will notify them through email the reason for your actions like suspicions on the user activity since you already done the punishment at the first place.

Leaving players high and dry after your action and giving an excuse for having a heavy work load is surely a troublesome.

I understand but also understand that when a ban is undertaken it is not done casually or even that frequently, each case varies but there are usually common and understandable reasons for the undertaking. It will be an even rare situation where the user involved doesn't actually know why the ban has occurred either and will resort to trying to apply pressure and rallying people like yourself in that effort. Of course, it is only possible because you are correct in that we can certainly improve our communication in such cases and this I will raise with the team.

(i am not saying the user above is such a case, just the usual scenario of when a member creates a totally fresh BTT account just to raise such an issue rather than already having one in some standing already)

The only reason why user like me rallying to support this kind of case because of the obvious proof that he is not getting attention on his case through his provided email from your support. This kind of case will typically being ignored if customer support provided details on his case since the user doesn’t have any idea on what he did wrong.

Most of the user complaining here is willing to provide username of their account which means that they are not an alt account per se. I hope that customer will be more active like you and reasonable to provide exact answer on simple inquiries especially for ban cases since this is really frustrating on the player side.
1332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there so much resistance for Bitcoin reaching $25,000 on: March 03, 2023, 01:35:28 PM
It’s a whole number and this is the first strong resistance for this current rally before. It’s normal that it will be very hard to break since there’s only few time span when this resistance show and probably those strong resistance from before is still active until now.

All numbers that divisible by 1000 and 5000 is always a strong resistance because traders usually notice it as a good price to buy and sell that is why resistance and support always position on this area.

1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 03, 2023, 12:17:34 PM
You friend was not greedy, he got Phished like many other people that are getting Phished every day. I get phishing emails daily from fake NetFlix sites trying to get my credit card information and my account information ...or links to a fake Online Banking site... but I always remember Rule #1 ===> Never click on links in your email!

Yes, I feel sorry that your friend lost his Bitcoin, but people should be more street wise when it comes to anything money related. There are people out there that spend most of their lives, trying to steal money from you.... you have to do everything in your power to stop them.  Wink

If not greed, then what is this? We all have greed, if it weren't for greed, we wouldn't risk investing in bitcoin. But greed combined with ignorance will cause extremely unfortunate consequences. If he weren't greedy he wouldn't have clicked the link. Losing money is something everyone regrets, but consider it a lesson of life, we still have a lot of opportunities to earn back the lost money, so there is no need to regret it, but get up from where you fell.

Imho, his friend got tricked and it’s not greediness if he is not aware on danger of crypto because his purpose is just to invest and earn money. Greediness is if you want more despite you already have enough profit. On this scenario, The friend just want an honest investment but scammer trick him to whatever investment offer he promise.

Lack of knowledge and being ignorant on potential scam is what happened here because the victim is a newbie. I will understand if he still get scammed despite being aware of scammer trick.
1335  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 02, 2023, 04:43:13 PM

This is what can happen with live betting.  I don't think Stake is at fault or owes you anything.  Who knows if you were using a slow VPN or internet connection.  Maybe the broadcast you were watching had a delay on it to catch cursing or whatever else...  Maybe the odds provider had a couple second delay in processing as a result of any number of things...  These companies have hundreds of millions of dollars on the line if things don't work as they should so you know when it comes to live betting they're going to take their time to make sure that all the bets are on the up and up.  I'm sorry for your loss here, but if you're live betting one point to the next then you should take a look at being a little too hands on with your bets.

If Stake offering slow service then they have partly at wrong here because they are offering live cashout despite of their system delay that will cause issue like this but since they are protected by their ToS and obviously includes technical error then having an argument about this issue is pointless since the user agree on ToS the moment they sign up the casino.
1336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: March 02, 2023, 03:27:55 PM

If my friends give good reviews to new casino then I will try it but for small amount of money only because I want to play with my friends, the game will be more enjoyable if you play with your fellow guys and talk about the result after you played.

Will you play in all the new casinos if your friends give all the new casinos good reviews.
Being able to play with a friend and in the end, telling each other about the games being played is really fun and can give a distinct impression.
But do we only play gambling just for fun without thinking about and expecting a win or profit.
I don't think it's possible to keep doing it because we are also playing using money and somehow we must have the thought not to lose money and even if we can actually double the money we use.

I do understand what he is trying to express on his statement because it’s really good to play with someone instead of playing alone because you can do bonding and ease the pressure when losing because you knew that you have a friend that experiencing the same. Having someone that shares same pressure and joy is another way to enjoy gamble in addition to winning alone.

Probably you don’t experience this kind of thing but it’s really good to have someone doing the same as yours especially on gambling. Poker and Blackjack are the best game to play with friends because it might make your game to become more competitive.
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 02, 2023, 01:52:35 PM
I wonder if higher education will help for entrepreneurship?
I am more interested in how much theory will help in this, because during a long study we do not get practice, this will be possible only when we start doing business, until that moment we will not be able to know how much it will help us.

This can help us if we need a license, but in some cases it can be obtained without a higher education.

Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder, for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?

If you don’t have initial resources such as inherited wealth and connection then it will be hard for you to compete in the entrepreneurship market because you don’t have knowledge on how to market on top of that you don’t have money to begin with. High education will give you credentials so that your customer will trust you on what your business.

Nowadays most of the entrepreneurs always have higher education compared before so it be hard for you to compete with them if you will start from scratch without any credentials established. The secret to success on business is to have a very good network of connection for a better market reach of your business.
1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price guess for March on: March 01, 2023, 12:03:37 PM
The monthly candle for February turns into a huge indecision candle when you view the price chart in monthly time frame. This kind of candle show a strong trend reversal  against the current rally since buyers is losing confidence to buy more above 25K.

I believe the price will be below 20K or above 26K since this month will be decision time for the next price direction for Bitcoin. I highly believe that price will dump this March and the strong opening of the monthly candle is a clear sign that there will be a sell off soon.

1340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: February 28, 2023, 03:09:01 PM
With no expiration of the bonus, it will give you enough time to wager consistently and slowly to meet up with the wagering requirement and in doing so you have to be very systematic and accurate in your sessions since you aim to win and accumulate more balance to be able to keep wagering to meet the stipulated amount of wagering required for that promotion.
Because if the casino gives bonuses without a time limit or expiration then the casino will experience a loss because of course all users can achieve it and inevitably the casino has to pay for the bonus.
It seems too obsessed when chasing the bonus so it doesn't reach the allotted time limit, but actually if we want to bet well and consistently, then without realizing it before the bonus runs out we will be able to finish it. condition.
Always remember not to overdo it when you want to get a bonus because it can actually make us lose more than what we will get from the bonus.

It always depends on the wagering requirements though. Blackjack.fun increased wagering requirements to justify their non-expiry bonuses. I think it doesn’t matter about the time limit since user will need to fulfill the wagering requirements no matter what happened with or without duration. I don’t see anything that will make the casino at loss here since they have special computation to count wager.

The only reason why some casino add duration on the bonuses is because they offer low wager requirements and also they want user to wager the volume for short period of time but it’s still the same when there’s no duration because the wager volume matter the most for the casino profit.
