1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 25, 2022, 11:43:02 PM
It's annoying to have a collection of shittokens in wallets except empty wallets with no transaction history, but there's nothing you can do about shittokens other than ignore them, shittokens are locked for transfers except for successful one-on-one transaction approvals when swapping on pancakeswap and usually cutting high transaction fees , my friend once lost $15 only transaction fee for swap approval transaction on pancakeswap.
Users will be receiving tokens in huge numbers. When we have known about those tokens as a trap, the right thing to do is ignore. This is not a new thing happening now, this is seen from the days of ICO. We know what we've transacted, so just use those tokens and not the unknown ones to avoid unwanted spending. I've seen this much on the myetherwallet.
1342  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: April 25, 2022, 11:29:08 PM
We don't know what is the reality happening within the country or it is the media that is making news out of these two countries. Came across a news in which it is mentioned that more than 65% of the people surveyed have stood in support of Putin.

So many Russians say they support the war in Ukraine.

We can't rely on the survey results, because it'll be based on small sample. If this is the representation of the entire population then it needs to be taken into consideration and analysed. Why such a big number is supporting the war which has been causing economic, and life destruction.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 25, 2022, 10:24:36 PM

their money, their rules! as simple as that. but i can agree that when you happen to play like for example in crash, and you will see someone putting up like $20k, and lost. just wow! wondering what they are feeling in those few seconds, and realised they lost that amount in one snap. but guess what, we'll never know if we are not that person. some can spend huge amount without battling an eye. but for most of us here, it is like our ticket to survival for the next few months.
The user have got money, and that's why he's spending. Whether it is being over within a second or it ended up after few rolls isn't a matter for such high rollers. We can't keep us in that place, because for we dollars to spend we'll be thinking several times. With the mentioned $20k one can lead the life for the next two years in a third world country and with the bet amount mentioned in the OP, one can have a good living for a generation.
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: April 25, 2022, 08:05:21 PM
Indeed, after experiencing a price increase to the level of $47k a few weeks ago, bitcoin slightly decreased in price to the level of $ 38k. But in the last few days, the price of bitcoin has risen again where bitcoin is currently trading at a price range of $40k-$41k. Therefore I am optimistic that the current price increase has the potential to reach the target price of $60k.
The decline won't be as bad as it used to be, I think the correction is now less but bitcoin can go back up, but if you look at this short-term momentum, buy during a correction and sell when it goes up a bit I think it's quite good compared to having to wait for $60k it's still too far off for us.
But I think the price can still hold and the resistance is $37k-38k we have to see that support if we want to move in the short term.
The price of bitcoin is moving within specific range. It can go above $60k with ease. For sure the price will undergo market correction. This corrective price movement is quite common, but the market is in good condition. The market have got good support. Until yesterday there is no big news, and today new information have come. If the price of bitcoin closes down to $38600 the midrange support will be $35400. Right now the market is very slow in either side,( Growth )
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 25, 2022, 06:57:47 PM
Punjab scored a balanced total run and it was not easy for CSK in that match. Rayadu was fantastic and played a good innings but he didn't get any strong partnership with him. At the end of the match, after 16th over, it was easy to win for CSK but Punjab played well and managed to win the match.
Just look at the scoring pattern of both the teams. From the beginning Punjab kept creating partnership, and each and every player have contributed with a two digit score. Look at the Chennai team, Uthappa, Santner, Dube altogether have contributed 18 runs out of 29 balls. They play at the very important position, because of the opener isn't able to contribute these players need to fulfill. Here everything has happened upside down and that's a major reason for Chennai team losing against Punjab.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 25, 2022, 06:21:55 PM
Competing with the IPL in the middle of all the problems that Pakistan is facing right now is going to be a really hard job for them.

I am not saying that it is impossible but the amount of popularity and impact IPL has is just unbelievable. and to be honest they truly do not even need the whole world to see the IPL. Their own population is good enough to generate a good amount of money.

It is going to be really interesting if Shahid Afridi actually takes the job. I have always liked him as a player and he has a really good sense of cricket. so I think it will be really great for Pakistan overall if he is in the authority.
Shahid Afridi taking the authority of PSL will be good, but the major focus of these leagues were much upon revenue and not upon development of cricketing. So, it'll be good to add a business person along with the Shahid Afridi. Pakistan to compete against IPL is not an easy thing and it takes time and much money. As in the above quote, the viewers within the country is more than enough to make it popular than any other leagues conducted around the world. For an information, the viewership on the platform hotstar reached 8.3 million during the last over played by Dhoni against Mumbai Indians.
1347  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: April 24, 2022, 11:59:41 PM
investing and saving is a plan for future finances to become more established and easier....
but basically all of this must be done with established management because most people are reluctant to save and prefer to invest so that the money can always work for themselves.
Savings assure the benefits, but the growth is limited. It is always good to save and then invest a part of the savings. This will reduce the risk and if there is good growth out of the investment, just keep on increasing the investment value. This will give more benefits than just saving. Most of the middle class turn to be upper middle class only through the process of saving and the investing it.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banking bitcoins will be work on: April 24, 2022, 10:58:11 PM
Banks were the primary financial management service providers. Also these banks function under the government control. When we talk about bitcoin getting added as the payment gateway along with banks being the primary payment source. Increase in the direct acceptance of bitcoin will eliminate banks, but the same won't take banks away from its usage.
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 24, 2022, 06:20:00 PM
If the wicket of Rahul is taken earlier Lucknow Super Giants team wouldn't have reached this score. Another thing, Rahul have got a record of scoring highest runs against the Mumbai Indians team among the entire T20 teams. With the previous match against Mumbai Indians he scored 103 runs in 60 balls and today he scored the same 103 runs in 62 balls. In both the matches he was not out and he's directing the team perfectly towards win.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 23, 2022, 03:31:00 PM
Gujrat Titans  :  Kolkata Knight Riders

After winning the toss, Gujarat decided to bat today. At the end of 18 overs, their collection is 140. Most likely today's pitch is bowling friendly pitch. Even then, it is difficult to win by setting a target below 170. Kolkata's team is not weak. Their batsmen are performing well in almost every match. And so if Gujarat gives less than 170 targets today, then Kolkata is more likely to win today's match.

GT add one more success to there name and now they have won 7 out of 8 games they have played. 156 was a very small target and KKR should have chased that. Apart from Andre Russell and Rinku nobody bothered the scoreboard much and in the end its 8 runs victory for GT.
Yes, 156 runs is chasable. Everytime a team losses the match out of small margin, then it'll be the lack of performance at the opening. Finally there is hope with the batting of Andre Russell, but he wasn't able to do it in the last over. Gujarat Titans once again made themselves strong with the win. Gujarat Titans have almost confirmed for the playoff. Now in the second match Royal Challengers were performing the worst of IPL.
1351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: April 23, 2022, 12:01:20 PM
I think the crypto market seems to be starting to get better and heading into the green during the third week of April. Even now the bitcoin price has broken through the $41k area again. Therefore, looking at the current price movement there seems to be no obstacle for bitcoin to hit its $50k price target in the next few weeks.

But I guess this is where the price is going to play along, $40k range and maybe up to $45k. I still have doubts that we will hit $50k just like that. It you would remember, we have a sort of mini bull run from $39k to $48k only. It didn't reach the peak price of $50k as others have predicted. So there's no way that suddenly we will go and touch $50k again without any good news.
Only 9 days left to the end of April, if Bitcoin continues to maintain its slow and steady gains, we can expect a price of $45k for this month without any FUD. Previously, I was expecting $50k for the end of April target but it seems all my predictions fell short of expectations. Indeed, we need positive news to have the momentum to push bitcoin to the $50k, news of Australia launching Bitcoin ETF and Ethereum ETF was the reason for the slight increase in Bitcoin but it was not enough to cause Bitcoin to spike.

On the contrary, my prediction is also wrong, $45k is not going to be reach with how the price is moving in the last 24 hours as it goes down again, to $39k. So there is no momentum, no push at all from the bulls. And even there is such positive news from Australia, still the market can't hold as there is obvious selling pressures. Full week now before the end of April, and hopefully $40k could still be the price.
Though there is good news from Australia, the market is not that reactive. The US Dollar Index have bounced and the same has impacted the market downwards. Bitcoin tried to maintain the $40k support, but it wasn't able to withstand and failed. This further tested the momentum and the price fall back to $39200. Now there is continued price fluctuation resulting in the price movement within limits.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: How Sweden Sends Just 1% of Its Trash to Landfills on: April 23, 2022, 10:00:07 AM
Already Sweden is the on the top list of cleanest country in the world based on the highest Environmental Performance Index score. The country focus much on sustainability and it is among the list of low carbon dioxide producing country. Cleaner countries have higher life expectancy compared to other countries. Sweden have low airborne pollution which is good for human health. Sweden is much into the usage of renewable energy sources. Destroying garbage to generate electricity is really good and as now it should have plans to limit the emission of carbon dioxide to the environment.
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras SEZ accepting Bitcoin as legal tender. What could be the benifits? on: April 23, 2022, 09:09:42 AM
I don't know how this will reduce poverty. Poverty in a country happens out of improper governance and the imbalance in the economy. To overcome this the government needs to take more productive initiative to provide job as well as the basic needs of people. Just on legalizing bitcoin or through adoption of bitcoin in special economic zone of a country isn't gonna make an impact over country's economy as well as in reducing poverty.
1354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 23, 2022, 08:31:14 AM
Maybe if you use the funds on regular trading, then you can prefer to have the holdings in an exchange. That too not recommended, if the fund values big. Probably on a trusted platform like Binance it won't be a problem. If the plan is for long term holding, then never think of having it on any exchange or any of the third party platform.

Also don't fall for mere profit investing cryptocurrencies on third party service and multiplier schemes that assure with returns within a day. Even sometimes you might get directed to some scripts that show deposit and get doubled instantly. Down some positive reviews will be running as I deposited $100 and received $300 within few hours. With cryptocurrency in each and everything you need to be cautious.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 22, 2022, 06:09:45 PM
Finally Rajasthan Royals won the match by 15 runs. The winning credit goes to Prashid Krishna who bowled the 19th over taking a wicket without giving any runs. If 10 runs have come out of that over, then Delhi Capitals would've played with less pressure in the last over which could've helped Delhi Capitals win the match. Anyhow from the beginning to the last both the teams had the similar scoring pattern. The difference is much on the 19th over as well as on the fall of wickets.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Any unexpected incidents - Bitcoin on: April 22, 2022, 12:59:22 PM

During the start of the year one of my friend who is running a travel service gave a table calendar. I just had it, and suddenly while looking for the date saw the image of bitcoin being mentioned in the calendar. This is something unexpected and it isn't a big thing, because the editor of the calendar might've added it. However slowly bitcoin is getting displayed here and there without reason. Does this intend people to know what is it.
1357  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: April 22, 2022, 12:34:55 PM
As of now no country has got the oil supply capability as Russia. Probably more talks with different countries were going on, particularly the talks were with the middle east countries. Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates weren't able to provide the requested supply. Qatar is the only government that heard about the need from Germany, but they doesn't have the LNG terminals. Right now Germany is fast tracking the construction of LNG terminals, and it takes atleast few years to function. The better option is to find an alternate plan through solar energy or other forms of energy.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 22, 2022, 06:27:30 AM
What they lost again? I can't believe it, its now 7 out of 7. I was expecting that MI will come stronger in this match to win the game but they just scored 155 runs. You can score 155 runs when both your openers are gone for zero. IPL need quality not quantity, clearly MI is not a standard team to be part of such league.

Well... this time it was really close.. but in the end Mumbai lost their 7th consecutive match. They have 0 points, and a net run rate of -0.892. Difficult to believe that this is the team that has the record of most IPL titles. So what happened all of a sudden, after a good performance last year? Has it something to do with captaincy? Anyway, now it is too late for them. Half of their matches are completed and they have zero chances of making it to the semi-finals. Maybe for the next season they should work towards getting some good players in their squad who can help them win matches.
We can't say the squad is bad, or the players aren't doing good. It looks like the bad time, and the little mistakes during the matches that keep the team experience consecutive losses. Other than the match against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore the performance of Mumbai Indians were quite good. In almost every match chasing targets they reach close to the target, but some mistakes in the middle order batting restricts them and loss the match.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: April 22, 2022, 03:12:26 AM
Do you understand what OP means? He didn't discuss Bitcoin adoption or its popularity, he specified telling us about KYC leads BTC to lose its native purpose. We know that many exchanges obligate KYC for BTC holders if they want to trade or transfer their BTC in the exchanges. As Satoshi ever stated that BTC is electric cash with no need for third parties and it keeps our privacy since it is transferred from person to person. Now, an exchange has a role that is almost the same as the third party. No different than when we use fiats and transfer it among banks.

CMIIW

Unfortunately, the OP is right. The ever-increasing number of exchanges and services requiring KYC, greatly defeats Bitcoin's purpose of bringing true financial freedom. KYC will only bring us the single points of failure crypto was meant to avoid in the first place. This is no different than traditional banking if you ask me. While there are still a handful of decentralized alternatives that don't require KYC, most people prefer the centralized route because it's much more convenient.

I'm afraid centralization will continue to dominate in the upcoming years. Who knows what the future holds for Bitcoin as regulations continue to take the crypto world by storm? Just my thoughts Grin
exchange is just a company that is under the auspices of the government, so it must also comply with the requirements of the government. therefore KYC is needed to make it easier for the government to track every user. this is very visible to local exchanges, by having our identity the government is free to see our transactions making tax rules in the end. and indeed anonymity is not fully visible here, but we can't do much, except to follow the rules from the government even though it's not in accordance with our conscience
Even the recent adoption of Russia made it overcome the sanctions when the entire transaction is being cut. Beyond this now the cryptocurrency exchanges too have begun to restrict people from Russia. So, as said above the exchanges are functioning similar to the banks for cryptocurrency. Even the governments try to have control over the non custodial wallets. This shows how focused are the countries in taking control over the market.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: April 21, 2022, 11:54:09 PM
FUD used to play a big role in disturbing the market when there is something negative. This happens as a result of fear among the common users who are small scale holders in terms of volume. The same gets used as an opportunity by the whales to accumulate as much possible. Nowadays this has changed and that's the reason why the market hasn't got disturbed even when there is high volatile market deviations in short time period.
This only proves that investors even the newbies have become smarter nowadays. They learn not to fear from FUD but to use it and take advantage from it. And by that way, whales will never keep on taking advantage from the small scale holders. However, when we learn to accept that FUDs will always be around in the market, that will motivate us to be more calm even when we see the market value is crashing. Because eventually, the market will always recover again and again.
Being smarter have made more people use cryptocurrencies compared to the past. Different applications give way for it and different learning sources were available and for now everyone are getting into the market after good study than just trying based on the periodic market changes. If there is no crash then the growth isn't real. Bitcoin is experiencing real growth and the same is being proven with its recovery happening again and again.
