I never understood why 1miau always chooses me as cannon fodder
You're a fun target and play along nicely Tongue

Looooooooooool! I still believe though that using someone else as cannon fodder will make me laugh even more. Maybe wolwoo? Maybe smartaction? Smiley

Give it time, extrapolating the past months shows you'll be ahead of 1miau in 6 months. Disclaimer: this may or may not happen, I don't give any guarantees nor make promises about it.

I must properly follow Prime Directive to make sure your words will come true! And, of course, I must also follow "second Prime Directive", although it implies facing some serious struggles.

It seems he was very indulgent though and only temp-banned these users from DT1 Smiley
You're on to something, this doesn't seem very random to me

I am certain theymos does some shenanigans around! I always knew it! wolwoo was so right!!!
1343  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The call for Julian Assange || The WikiLeaks Manifesto - We all should read it on: April 27, 2023, 05:49:34 PM
today i stumbled across a new book on the internet by former un special rapporteur Nils Melzer on the Assange case.

You mean this book? Smiley

I already found it since last year and I was lucky enough to find a website importing it also in Romania! The book appeared during last spring.

In the above link you can also see my collection with "must-read" books written by Assange, Snowden or about Assange. I read them all excepting this book (I will do it in the close future though). In fact, I read all the books and materials presented in OP and I also watched all the movies I listed there. I recommend them to all which are interested about Assange.

I also recommend reading the following:
- Nils Melzer's The Trial of Julian Assange: A Story of Persecution - The shocking story of the legal persecution of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and the dangerous implications for the whistleblowers of the future
- Robert Manne's piece of art The Cypherpunk Revolutionary Julian Assange
- The Most Dangerous Man In The World: The Inside Story On Julian Assange And WikiLeaks, written by Andrew Fowler
- Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet, by Julian Assange. The book is a discussion between Julian, Jacob Appelbaum (Tor developer) and Jérémie Zimmermann (co-founder of La Quadrature du Net)
- Underground, by Suelette Dreyfus & Julian Assange. It is a fascinating book about the rise of Australian hackers and phreakers from 1980s, including the early activity of Julian Assange which, by that time, was known under the nym Mendax
- When Google Met WikiLeaks, by Julian Assange
- The Unauthorised Autobiography, by Julian Assange.

Besides, the following movies are parts of the must watch category:

Ithaka - a documentary showing Julian's struggle to avoid extradition to US
Mediastan: A Wikileaks Road Movie - a WikiLeaks very own documentary - full movie
Risk - a WikiLeaks documentary, directed by Laura Poitras (a friend of Julian Assange) - full movie
The Fifth Estate - a great movie about WikiLeaks
We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks - yet another documentary about WikiLeaks
Underground: The Julian Assange Story - another movie about Julian, depicting his early career.
1344  Economy / Reputation / Re: Re: LoyceV vs theymos (and get your own Merit graph: up to 20 users per graph) on: April 27, 2023, 05:26:38 PM
Adding GazetaBitcoin, icopress and BlackHatCoiner to my request this time.
It's mikeywith, GazetaBitcoin, icopress, fillippone and me (1miau).  Smiley

I never understood why 1miau always chooses me as cannon fodder Why not the dude with 5700 posts and 0 merits or the one with 6000 posts and 0 merits?! Or, at least, why not MinoRaiola? Why me, me, me? =)))

Maybe we should remove fillippone.  Cheesy
Otherwise, it's getting too depressing...  Undecided

But it's still depressing for me

How about adding theymos instead of fillippone?
Should be enough to get us all banned. Grin

I also believe that theymos will ban all users which managed to get more merits than him (which would be, of course, a very understandable punishment for such act of lèse-majesté !) It seems he was very indulgent though and only temp-banned these users from DT1 Smiley
1345  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ₿ LIST ₿ Bitcointalk's ESCROW providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠ on: April 26, 2023, 11:26:20 PM
I also sent PM to all current list participants.

I'll be waiting for your reply (for the following few weeks before I update the list once more)...

I did the same since January. More than half never replied until today... This is why I said there is a big amount of work needed to updating the thread and also for keeping it constantly updated...

I'll keep an eye on the changes though Smiley
1346  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ₿ LIST ₿ Bitcointalk's ESCROW providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠ on: April 26, 2023, 10:19:21 PM
If you wanna apply for this list, please post here (or send me PM with) the following info

With all due respect, I was already added to a escrow providers list, which is also updated with lattest news about each escrow of the forum which still offers this kind of service.

I am sorry, OP, but this topic is obsolete and it contains a lot of inaccurate information. Unless you decide to be more active on the forum and put some (serious) efforts in keeping the topic updated and accurate I will not wish to be listed here.
1347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me translate my best posts in your Local Board on: April 26, 2023, 09:55:02 PM
One new translation has been added to OP:

I also added this translation as footnote inside the original thread.

At same time, this was also the last topic available for being translated in Polish language. cygan translated all my 15 topics and, so far, he is the only one which managed this impressive work! Thanks again cygan!

Besides, Stable090 reserved the Pidgin translation for the following topic:

This was also the last available topic for Pidgin language.

Having all topics translated in Polish and Pidgin, I made one more update for languages with most active and interested translators, which are Filipino and German:

1348  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Info-thread: Translation of Useful English topics to Naija languages, pidgin etc on: April 26, 2023, 09:52:23 PM
Thank you dear Sokani as you translate one more of my topic! Great job! Dis way more and more pipo go dey aware of de struggles of de poor Julian Assange.

Dis theme na dedication to Cypherpunk, to freedom of journalism, and at de same time, de material try to bring out de unjust justice wey Asange bin face. And all dis because he want talk de truth, de whole truth and nothing but de truth.

Similar to Ross Ulbricht, US government bin hold Asange as an example. At de same time, none of de oda journalist wey cooperate with am face similar allegations. No New York Times journalist wey secret agencies don ever persecute. No Der Spiegel journalist wey US don accuse of spying. No Guardian journalist wey dem don hunt. And all dis na de biggest names for de press wey collaborate with Asange. Instead dem bin hold am as role model.

We go only fit hope say him go dey finally free again...

GazetaBitcoin nice win, didn't take you for someone that was into sports,  Congratulations  Cool

Hehe, thanks!

I still have some surprises left to show on the forum, right? Smiley

Remember also that, at the previous similar contest organized by JollyGood I ended on second place, with 4 points (actually multiple users obtained 4 points, thus all of them sharing 2nd place, lol) and only the winner (with 9 points) had more than me. That was like a warm-up contest for me Smiley

I showed my skills here, hehe Smiley
1352  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin: Marzenie cypherpunkowców, libertarianienców i kryptoanarchistów on: April 24, 2023, 03:55:34 PM
1353  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doing some work for Saxydev, Earned $90 but Never received the Payment.  on: April 24, 2023, 01:07:09 PM
Heads-up:

Rizzrack / shitcoincollector12's friend & protégé has returned:

Also gazetabitcoin aka @newsletterbitcoin scammed his mom and sued her for 50$. I am not allowed to post links but DM and for sure I will send his real name Smiley to check the case of course

Most likely, not for paying back his debts to c0ldbrewz and dkbit98.

Obviously, the above post was reported for being off-topic and zero-value and it will be deleted soon.
1354  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: ⚽ Sponsors: UTOPIA & Igebotz: FA Cup Semi-Final competition $50 prize on: April 24, 2023, 08:43:22 AM
The points awarded to each participant are in red and if my calculations are correct, GazetaBitcoin and bitzizzix both have 11 points each therefore have won the competition Grin

Thank you JollyGoodm Igebotz and Utopia for this contest! I am more than glad to hear I was one of the winners  Roll Eyes

Regarding the proposal to extend the contest -- I don't want to be the party pooper here, but in Romania we have a saying: What's in hand is not a lie Smiley Meaning that you better keep what you have in hand than risk it for a possible other winning. So please don't take me wrong, but I'll keep my 25$ prize Smiley

Thanks again for organizing this very nice contest!
1355  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] [banned mixer] Bitcoin Mixer | Sig Campaign | Up to 0.0036 BTC/W on: April 23, 2023, 09:59:12 PM
I just want to remind that anyway Trust Wallet is owned by Binance, the biggest exchange in the world, which makes a ton of money every single day so I'm not saying that we should 100% trust them but I find very hard to believe that they would jeopardize everything they've built over a wallet spyware, it makes little sense to me, if someone would discover a spyware in their wallet it could mean the end for them and for the whole BNB/BSC ecosystem.

Only the fact that the wallet is owned by a centralized exchange should be a monster flag for anybody to not use it ever.

Binance, the biggest exchange in the world

Should I remind that in 2014 Mt. Gox was also the biggest exchange in the world? Needless to remind what happened to it and to its clients, right?

Or should I remind that Coinbase, one of biggest exchanges in the world, was caught selling clients' personal data?

Any association with a centralized exchange is like a plague, spreading more and more. Stay away from CEXs and stay away from closed source wallets held by CEXs!
1356  Local / Română (Romanian) / Re: Cele mai bune site-uri de explorare a blocurilor Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 09:52:34 PM
Avem rezultatele chestionarului:

Blockchair ramane cu nota 8 (spre mahnirea mea) iar tabelul in format vechi va continua sa primeasca actualizari. Ca atare, am sa ma ocup de actualizarile ambelor tabele atunci cand va fi nevoie.
1357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Survey regarding our Bitcoin Blockexplorer topic [Part 2] on: April 23, 2023, 09:50:32 PM
Result 1: Bitcointalk members don't want to change the rating from Blockchair, as 6 people voted for our current 8 points rating and 4 people voted for an 9 points rating.

I fought hard for Blockchair but it seems fate was cruel with it and I could not change it...

Result 2: Bitcointalk members want to have updates provided for our old table layout (7 vs. 1 votes)

This will imply some more work, but we'll do it  Smiley

We'll apply the voted outcomes accordingly.

Amen Smiley

Three new translations have been added to OP:

I also added these translations as footnotes inside the original threads.

Thanks again Nheer, sokani and Stable090 for all your efforts!

At same time, sokani reserved the Pidgin translation for the following topic:

I made one more update for languages with most active and interested translators (Filipino, Polish, Pidgin, and German):

1360  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The call for Julian Assange || The WikiLeaks Manifesto - We all should read it on: April 23, 2023, 06:46:53 PM
i wanted to BTCump this very interesting topic up again

Thank you for this, dear cygan!

BitcoinMagazine has immortalized Julian Assange's image on the Bitcoin blockchain as ordinals.

This image is simply... thrilling. Julian's eyes... his face... the struggle he expires through all his pores -- all these are so touching... so touching!

the cover of the new print issue (The Gatekeepers) has been dedicated to his face/person, serving as "a reminder of the price some have paid so that we can all enjoy our freedoms"

These are such meaningful words...

May this man be set free! May his struggle end soon!
