I'm positive they are anti-bitcoin.... and here's why:

Haha, I though iMoney was a joke. Wonder how long they'll pre-mine for  Grin?
1342  Other / Meta / Re: Can posts be 'saved' if they don't succesfully go through on: December 19, 2013, 08:29:58 PM
I was just wondering if a feature could be implemented when if you post within your allowed timeframe your post would be saved, as when you click back your text has gone. I usually ctrl and c them just in case, but sometimes I forget. Pretty annoying to have to re-type out your messages.

This has screwed me over a few times, so I know how annoying it is. I understand the time limit and think it's a great feature, but I wish my posts would still be there if I post under the limit.

Just thought I'd make my first post to introduce myself. I'm interested in bitcoin and the new alt-coins popping up, and recently made a dogecoin wallet, which I've seen grow in popularity since its release only a week ago.

I followed the recent SheepMarketplace scam when it was all going down, and was wondering if anyone had any follow up information on the guy's identity or any recollection of how he pulled off such a massive heist.

Haven't been following it closely but info can be found on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/SheepMarketplace/comments/1rvlft/i_just_chased_him_through_a_bitcoin_tumbler_and/

I think they're just anti-everything they can't take a cut of, or there was some pressure on them from the government.
1345  Economy / Economics / Re: Winklevoss: Trying to pump before they dump? on: December 19, 2013, 07:35:01 PM
Have they said what they actually plan to do with their holdings? Are they going to keep them for x amount of time and then sell, or what?

There is no purpose in setting up the fund if they don't intend to sell the shares. They don't have to sell all of their shares, but they have an incentive to sell a large portion.

If the Winkle says he expects them to rise to 40k, surely they'll be keeping them to nearer that figure?

You don't know that they actually expect it to go that high. They may be telling everyone $40k, but actually plan to dump at $10k.

I wonder if they plan on holding them all with the view to sell, or slowly sell them off bit by bit over time? Have they stated what their plan for their holdings is?

And yeah, obviously 40k is pure speculation, but maybe they'll get rid after they hit a certain amount, like you said. I think 10k isn't too ridiculous a number for BTC, especially once it gains some mainstream acceptance.

1347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: December 19, 2013, 07:07:59 PM
I came to learn more about Bitcoin and hopefully make some coins from giveaways and selling my own goods etc.
1348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The whole wave of Bitcoin lies on the fact that marijuana is illegal on: December 19, 2013, 06:58:34 PM
100% of Bitcoin is spent on drugs. Name me one other place that accepts bitcoin that isn't Silk Road.

I kid.

Did you also know that bitcoin is a gateway cryptocurrency?

99% of people start with bitcoin and then move on to harder alt coins...  Shocked

Haha nice. Crackcoin, methcoin.

Hello, iam new with bitcoins, I want know a good way to earn anything.
Because 15 years old. I have no money to buy it, how to get anything doing small services ?

Once you have ten posts and get out of the newbie section you can check out the services section of this site to earn money. Easiest way to earn BTC is to put an advert in your signature and you get paid by how many constructive posts you make.

This is what I'm waiting for. Only 1hr20mins to go!  Grin

Writing this post because I have to, never encountered such annoying rules on any forum before.

Me neither, but I guess it's there to cut down spam and seems to work quite effectively.

Do I need to wait 4 hours and make ten posts or is it just 4 hours and one post?

you must wait 4 hours and make 5 posts

Thanks. I understand why the 6 minute wait is there, but what's most annoying is having to type my comment out again. Done this a few times.

Goddamn this keep fucking me over lol. But only 2 hours to go yey.

1356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is now the best time for new people to invest? on: December 19, 2013, 01:29:39 PM
Now is a great time to invest as BTC has been at its lowest for a while. Can't see it going any lower unless there's a catastrophic event.
